This story is a harem bleach, Rosario + Vampire, Tenchi Muyo Ryo-oki, GXP and War on Geminar and High School DXD maybe Marvel harem fanfic there will be lemons but not many may include one or two women from the Marvel continuity but I haven't decided yet.
Main Pairing: Ichigo x Yoruichi, Unohana, Soifon, Moka (true form), Akua, Tatsuki, Washu, Tsunami, Ryoko Balta, Aura Shurifon (Hot dark elf chick), Rukia, Orihime, Akeno and Sona. Rias will be with Riser in this fic however, he will be respectful and humble and the Greco-Roman Gods will also exist and mirror the gods from Percy Jackson and the Olympians Zeus, Ares and Hercules with be complete assholes.
Ichigo will have Multiple Zanpaktou including but not limited to Mugetsu, Kyoka Suigetsu, Katen Kyokotsu, Senbonsakura, Benihime, Nejibana, Kikoō and Hyorinmaru. (He will not have Zangetsu in this fic as he was sacrificed to perform the FGT but he will have a another Getsu based melee attack type Zanpaktou based off Zangetsu and will retain his Quincy power or the old man and he will also have the Hogyoku which will fuse his spirit body with his physical back so he will no longer have the need to exit his physical body to use his full power.)
Summary: Ichigo is sitting in a devastated Karakura after the war with Aizen the release of the FGT and losing all his friends and loved ones lamenting over the fact that the release of the FGT as the residual energy from the release was the reason why everyone was dead. You might be thinking that just Karakura and its people were destroyed but nothing could be further from the truth in fact the truth was much, much worse. The cold hard truth that Ichigo had to deal with as he sat on a curb crying into his hands was that the release of the FGT ended all life on planet earth not just the lives of the people in the town he lived in his entire life but all life everywhere. He is paid a surprise visit by the soul king and his fellow gods and goddesses and given a chance to change things for the better will he take it or will he wallow around his dead town in self-pity? Let's find out.
Chapter Two: The return and gifts received
Previously on Ichigo: God of Shadows
"I gotta sit down." Ichigo said sitting on the curb. "My mother was a Quincy; I did not see that one coming."
Hideki just laughed at that statement.
"But why didn't my dad tell me and my sisters this?" Ichigo asked
"The same reason all parents including myself keep information from our children to protect you. Ichigo-Kun the other members of the Royal Guard and I knew your father he was a dear friend of ours and he loved you and your sisters dearly even though he never came out and said it but he did show it in unexpected ways like attacking you the way he did or doing batshit crazy stuff to your sisters and finding new ways to irritate the three of you.
The last time we came for a visit was when you were in Hueco Mundo rescuing Orihime and according to what he told us he was proud of you and your sisters I only wish he could be here now to tell you instead of hearing it from us so live for them even if it is in an alternate time line live." Kirio Hikifune said
"Thanks for that but who are you?" he replied only to be handed a picture
"Do you remember this Ichigo?" she said, "My title is Ruler of Grain and my name is Kirio Hikifune although when you were five you would call me…."
"Kiri Onee-chan." Ichigo said pulling her into a hug which she happily returned
"It has been a long time Ichi-kun you have grown up into a young man your mother would be so proud of and so am I." she said as they maintained the embrace for a while longer
"Are you ready to go Ichi-kun we have a lot to discuss and not a lot of time." She said getting a nod in return as they all disappeared back to the soul king's palace.
Present Time….
"Okay what did you want to discuss? Kiri Onee-chan said we had a lot to discuss and not a lot of time to do it so let's get started." Ichigo said
"Very well Ichigo let us begin." Hideki said
"As previously stated, the Ichigo in the dimension we are sending you to is extremely powerful and very well versed on how to use that power as he has been trained since the age of five in its usage and not just his soul reaper powers but also his Quincy and hollow powers. In fact, whether you knew this or not your inner hollow was in fact Zangetsu and the old man you thought was Zangetsu was your Quincy powers just like the Ichigo of the dimension we are sending you to with one minor difference your Zanpaktou isn't Zangetsu." Amaterasu said
"What do you mean?" Ichigo asked
"Ichigo, when you were born Zangetsu was so powerful that your little body couldn't handle his power and he knew this so he prayed to me to seal him away until you were strong enough to wield him properly unfortunately it wasn't until just recently that your body became strong enough to truly wield him and well you saw the result. I tried to get Kisuke to train you properly so that all of the destruction your final technique unleashed wouldn't come to pass and at first he was receptive however, the ignorant fool head captain Yamamoto ordered him not to train you as he was afraid that if you were properly trained you would turn on the soul society and threaten the balance when nothing could've been further from the truth." She replied
"But how is it the other Ichigo has a different Zanpaktou? I thought that if…." He started only to have Amaterasu finish his sentence
"You thought that if you had Zangetsu the other Ichigo would've had Zangetsu as well, right." She said
After receiving a nod, she continued, "I had initially planned for that to be the case however, after the three Fates the primordial deities that govern destiny gave me gave me a vision of what would happen and seeing you sacrifice Zangetsu to kill Aizen your soul would no longer accept him so I made the appropriate changes to the other timeline and split you in two on the day you born knowing that after the split you would be born here and gave you Zangetsu and the rest is as you know history. However, in the future since your current body will no longer accept a Zanpaktou of any kind as you are your sister Karin will have Zangetsu while your sister Yuzu will get a different Zanpaktou, probably one based off of Kisuke Urahara's Benihime." Amaterasu grinned noticing Ichigo's shocked look and replied, "Is it so shocking to you that I could I split you apart or give out Zanpaktou as though they were candy it shouldn't be I'm a primordial goddess and exist in all dimensions not to mention the fact that I created the Zanpaktou spirits after all, I'm the one that looks into the souls of every human born and decides what Zanpaktou goes were if their soul aligns with the soul reaper end of the spiritual spectrum then they receive a soul reapers Zanpaktou that will awaken after death and are given an Asauchi created by Oetsu to forge them into a blade. If their soul should align with the hollow end of the spiritual spectrum then they are given a hollows Zanpaktou spirit that will awaken only when a hollow awakens their true self and removes their mask to become a vasto lord."
"Wow, I honestly had no idea about any of this." Ichigo said as his mind was officially blown
"I know shocking ain't it." Tenjirō said with a grin.
"Shocking isn't quite the word I would use more like insane." Ichigo replied "Wait, you said you split me in half how does that work and what is the name of my true Zanpaktou? He asked
At this Tsukuyomi took over and asked, "Ichigo you know the universal balance theory of Yin and Yang?
"Of course, it is the prevailing theory that the universe exists in a balance of yin and yang, light and dark, push and pull, tui and la, good and evil. Too much of one or the other throws the universe out of balance." He replied
"Good. Now, the other Ichigo is the yang to your yin and right now he is unable to use his power to its true fullest because he is out of balance even now, he feels like something is missing and that he isn't whole." She stated noted his look of shock. "You have been feeling like that too, haven't you?"
Ichigo nodded and said, "Yes, for some reason ever since my powers awakened, I always felt dark and like I wasn't complete. I guess now I know why. But, will my father know what has happened to me once the merger is completed?"
At that Amaterasu responded, "Yes Ichigo he will, but so will your sisters, mother and all of your friends both in the human world, the Soul Society and Hueco Mundo as well as your fiancés in the new world the only ones that won't know about it will be any mortal you haven't met yet like some of your fiancés. Before you ask, the moment your friends and loved ones in this world died I sent their souls and memories to merge with their counterparts in the world we will send you to well all except for Kirio and the other members of the royal guard." At that Ichigo went wide eyed and before he went catatonic at the thought of losing is surrogate big sister Hideki took over.
"Calm down Ichigo we know what you're thinking and the answer is no you won't lose Kirio as neither she nor the other members of the royal guard exist in the dimension we are sending you to. The reason being is that the moment they were chosen as members of my guard they were made major gods of the Shinto Pantheon and advisors to the high counsel and as a result any of their counterparts in any dimension were drawn in and merged with them to avoid any chance of a paradox that potential enemies in the know could take advantage of. Think of it as a contingency plan so that the members of the royal guard only exist in one dimension at a time or in this case any dimension were I exist, after all they can't do their jobs correctly if their essences are split and in multiple dimensions simultaneously right. Now do you have any more questions?"
"Just two. You said that I would be receiving gifts from my Shinigami friends, what are they? When can we get this show on the road?" he said
"Well as you said we can get this show on the road right now and the gifts that you will be receiving will come in the form of new powers, training and new Zanpaktou left to you by some of your friends although the blades in questions will have some fundamental differences after becoming yours. For instance, Kikoō's flame in shikai will be reddish orange and in bankai will be black as he is the embodiment of my flames in the form of a blade. Senbonzakura will be purple instead of pink and the aura of her final attack shukei will be gold instead of white as it was with Byakuya. Unlike with Aizen Kyoka Suigetsu will be far more powerful and her complete hypnosis will not be permanent and last only as long as she is released as well as being able to counter act her counterpart currently possessed by Aizen. And so, forth each blade you receive via inheritance will have subtle changes to distinguish them from their counterparts in the timeline we are sending you to. However, with regards to training that will take a while but you needn't worry because time in the Takamagahara flows differently than here in the soul Palace. My self and the other deities gathered here will teach you everything you need to know about being a god and your responsibilities and the Hogyoku your Zanpaktou and the royal guard will train you in the Shinigami arts and to master your blades to the fullest. However, as previously stated don't expect this to be easy as it will be the most difficult task you've ever undertaken so we expect nothing but your absolute best, understand." Amaterasu said
"Yes, Lady Amaterasu." He replied.
_Time Skip two years _
The day came for Ichigo to go and meet his destiny however, the gods had one more surprise for him. Instead of sending him on his way they brought his other half to Takamagahara and merged them together there. When asked why his only response was, "Ichigo, merging you back together was always going to take place here. In fact, it could only take place here as it was here you were separated in the first place. You see Ichigo, the dimension we're sending you to is originally your home dimension as your true self exists there. I know you're thinking how is that possible, well the truly straightforward answer is the human soul is extremely malleable it's kind of like the silly putty you used to play with as a child and as such able to take any form we desire or be split if need be, so when the fates got involved and gave us a prophecy concerning you the only thing we could do was to split your soul and send your dark half to another dimension and keep your light half in the dimension you were originally born into also it makes it more entertaining for us when Aizen and Yhwach attack thinking they truly know you only to find out they don't when you end up killing them. However, due to your possession of the Hogyoku and Kyoka Suigetsu Aizen will know when the merger takes place as will Yhwach do to your mastery of Quincy abilities but I wouldn't worry too much as your power and abilities far exceed their own so when you fight them make the fight long and excruciatingly painful for them. Do it for your grandma please." Amaterasu said giving him her version of the puppy dog eyes.
Ichigo began to nod and then caught himself…. "EHHH! WHAT DO YOU MEAN GRANDMA!" he shouted
"Oh, my mistake I forgot. Since I created Japan and her people all of them are my descendants as I their direct ancestor but I prefer the terms mother or grandma as they are so much nicer than ancestor." She replied getting a nod from Ichigo.
After that the merging took place and Ichigo was sent on his way.
