Glitchtrap watched the cameras with Vanessa as Gregory made his way to Roxy Raceway, glancing nervously at said woman beside him.
Glitchtrap cleared his throat, catching her attention and receiving a confused look. He second guessed himself for half a second before beginning to speak.
"So, Vanessa, you know what happens when William takes over, and that when William is taken down by gregory… all. His forms will be booted from existence to the people, be it you, an animatronic, or a random person… so… I need to tell you something…" Vanessa raised an eyebrow, looking almost annoyed, but turned to him in the swivel chair she was sitting on.
"When Gregory gets rid of william… I will be sent back into the VR game… and since it has now been published, there's no telling which headset will contain me, so just in case it isn't the headset you own, I would like to give you a calling card to know it's me. The person that will have me in their head will do the same… I hope we never have to use this… but I know it's highly likely."
Vanessa knew it would be uncomfortable when Glitchtrap was sucked into a headset, but she never imagined it would be painful. Yet here it was, searing hot pain that blinded her. Gregory had abandoned Freddy and gone into the room, destroying afton.
She didn't know that she had started screaming, she only knew when she stopped, laying on the floor, still in immense amounts of pain, but nothing that compared to the feeling of being ripped apart.
She lazily turned her eyes upwards towards the pounding footsteps coming towards the office, not being at all surprised by Freddy and Gregory standing there.
Vanessa grunted as she tried to get up, using her elbow as a support, only to let out a short scream at the pain that shot through her body. Glitchtrap had told her the longer they stayed together, the more it would hurt if they ever came apart. They had been sharing a head space for well over a year.
She tried to force her eyes to track Gregory as he walked towards her warily, no doubt wondering if she would pull a knife out and stab him any minute. His worries were completely understandable, but Vanessa couldn't help but feel slightly pained by the fact that this child was scared of her. She snapped out of her thoughts by Gregory's voice.
"He was Controlling you wasn't he? You never wanted to hurt me." All she could manage was a subtle nod, and even that left her gasping for breath. Her vision started swimming, and she could hear the panicked voice of freddy as she slipped into unconsciousness.
Vanessa startled back into consciousness suddenly as Freddy adjusted his grip on her, leaving them staring awkwardly at each other while Freddy carried her bridal style for half a second before Freddy alerted Gregory that she was awake.
Vanessa jumped from the bear's grasp as Gregory turned towards them, wincing as she landed on her feet, turning her eyes towards the boy in front of her, who instantly pulled a knife from God-knows-where and pointed it at her.
Honestly? She didn't blame him.
"Hey, I lost Glitchrat. Afton can't control me anymore. No more out of body experiences! I hope…" she glanced at the wall when she finished speaking, half expecting her companion to pop out and screech at her nickname for him. She actually missed him.
Apparently she zoned out staring at forward for a while because next thing she knew Gregory was poking her thigh with his knife.
A squeak escaped her before she could stop it, her face going beet red with embarrassment.
"Ah- yeah?" She stared at Gregory, who was significantly smaller than her, even smaller than she remembered. She shuffled her feet as Gregory continued to stare her down, eventually making her avert her eyes.
It was starting to feel awkward.
"Hmph. You're taking me to your house because I'm not spending the time sitting here, waiting for night again." Vanessa nodded, looking ahead of Gregory. She glanced back at the young boy before walking forward, wondering if a knife would suddenly stab through her spine.
She really, really hoped no mode shitty stuff happened tonight. Being controlled by William was horrible, but at the same time being without Spring Bonnie Glitchtrap was unnerving, to say the least. The rabbit may have been annoying, but at least he saved her from awkward silences around other people, even if it would only be him in a one-sided conversation.
She smiled as she saw the front doors come into view before a question popped into her mind.
"What happened to the other animatronics? Oh no- don't tell me they were broken- oh my God. They're gonna fire me." She groaned into her hands, shaking her head. She dragged her hands down her face moving her head to give a tired look directed at the duo behind her, who both sheepishly smiled. Or well, as much as an animatronic could on Freddy's end.
"Let's just get to my car… except for you Freddy, go to your room and power down. I don't want any more than needed tacked on my back."
