Author Note: This chapter was inspired by the online series Witch Bunny and a little bit of Harry Potter.
I do not own Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Enjoy!
Do you know what is so great about being in such a terrible world?
Everybody is reluctant to explore it unless they could minimise the risk or in a huge crowd.
Also, If something is clearly happening, most run the other way and don't go to investigate.
The Ladybug blogger Alya Cesaire was nuts.
But then again, because of this, the girl could get footage saner people could not and blow up way faster then most online.
So unless Ashley started attacking, people would naturally stay far away from anything unusual looking and she could build in peace.
She ended up building a unground magical comfort zone and created a barrier that would not only protect it from attack but also prevent magic sensitive people from picking it up.
Even though those people were few and far between, they were still a risk to her.
When a new way for her to transport her goods were set up, she changed her message to asking her clients to draw a circle and leave their cash in the middle of it.
She would then magically come and collect it and transport the goods to them using this.
The first time she did it, she was sure there was shock on the other end but she continued to do it.
Not before long, this method was on the world news but she was too busy following her schedual.
This schedual allowed her to juggle her job, raising the magical babies inside her and turn herself into a competent ruler.
She may look like a normal woman, but inside of her was a entire world that lives and dies with her.
A world, that would land her into a research facility if she wasn't strong enough and wise enough to fight for it.
However, it all wouldn't have been possible without the Collector.
While she was setting up the two way mirror, the boy told her what was going on with the world and she could adjust or continue down her current path.
She took the words 'my body is my temple' to a whole new level, by making sure, she ate healthy, excerised, read books and learned different skills.
She even learned how to knite so she can make cute sweaters for the babies.
And the babies did indeed hatch and like she suspected, none of them were human beings because at 3 months old, all of them reached glamorous adulthood.
She said glamorous, because her hard work had paid off.
All of them were good looking and in peak form, not a single person was overweight and they knew how to dress well.
The Collector told her all about the amazing building they had done and the society they had built before the kids eyes.
They asked him to help.
They did this once.
Then never again.
She thought, the magical people sensed it too, how bad it would be if a kid with this much power went off script and there was nobody strong enough to stop him.
So it was truly a desperate call that they called him.
And of course, the world knew about her.
It was impossible to track the weather after all.
She couldn't force herself to be happy all the time, but she could make sure she was relaxed.
So one day, she looked up and saw herself in a comfortable chair, a book on her lap, a foot messager on her feet, a fireplace cracking softly in her ears and a book shelves around her.
No money issues.
She had magic.
And was safe.
This was nice. She thought.
She could die here.
She began introduce her world to the world around her, but to her surprise, none of them seemed that interested in it.
After all, they had magic.
Why would they want to know about inferior products like a plane or car?
This sort of thing, ended up being either taught in a class, in a museum, or as a nice backdrop.
However, they did create their own version of the internet and cellphones.
That stuff was way to convient not to be adapted in some way.
So the world had its own magical handheld scrolls and network.
And to her surprise, she learned what her people learned as well.
Them coming up with new spells was added to her knowledge too.
Battle technique?
She learned it too.
It was like she had stumbling onto a magical cheat code, she just needed to not die.
Or at least not mess up the world so bad that what was lost needed a lot of time to replenish.
She of course, could stay here, where its safe and do nothing.
Wait for the moment she was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice so that her realm coulf survive her death and be truly established.
She wondered if she was strong enough now to face Paris now?
She had been running for so long that she was beginning to wonder, at what point was she enough?
Could she dominate Hawk Moth or was it still foolish for her to even think that?
She would never truly know unless she went to Paris and faced it head on herself, putting herself in danger.
But it was a stupid idea no matter how you look at it.
But what if she was actually so strong now that nothing could match her?
Wouldn't it be ridiculous to hide from a none existent threat, for the rest of her life?
If only there was some way to know where she stood on the power balance without putting herself in danger?
Paris power balance was changing all the time, even the Collector couldn't help her.
One day, she could be strong in the eyes of Paris.
The next, she could be losing to a dog.
And then she had an idea.
An idea so crazy, that something like this would defiantly raise some bells in Paris but she could properly gadge her level and if things go bad, she can call them back.
So she told the Collector about it and he woahed.
She was planning to spend envoys to Paris.
The envoys would be chosen in a realm wide magical tournament, so she can see how the best Witches do in Paris and go from there.
The Collector was all to happy to host a tournament, he got to see cool magical fight scenes like on tv.
So they hosted it and she used a now working two way mirror to see it.
It was a bit painful, tying them to her but it was worth it to catch a glimpse at her world for the first time.
And it was simply stunning.
She watched attractive people with animal familiars, being impressive athlatic, come to blows with magic like on tv.
The gorgous enviroment was not ruined by pollution like the world around her.
She saw that a lot of people lost, but she was so proud of them.
Also, the kwami coming to watch was cute too.
The world outside had no idea, that the stuff of their dreams was happening right now.
And all she suffered was a mild stomach ache.
But she was sure, her walls were getting stronger all the time so no big loss there.
The winners of the tournament were actually dating, which was cute.
A white young man named Ruan who had short black hair, black shades and wore a tight black tshirt, a necklace around his neck, a band on his arms, trousers and shoes.
He had a familiar named Cafe who was a black cat with completely yellow glowing eyes.
And he was dating a dark skinned young woman named Lorena with hair that looked like it held space itself in it, wearing a cute white lute blouse, high waisted shorts over leggings, white fingerless gloves on hands and flat shoes.
The young woman had a familiar named Coco who was a cute bunny.
The chemistry between the two Witches made her smile.
The way they were so romantic and smooth with each other, you just know they grow up in a completely different enviroment.
Now a days, the adult world really doesn't have much to smile about so being so carefree and it not being for being for some movie was a huge feet.
She was happy that she could create such a happy enviroment for them to grow up in.
Also, the two were really easy on the eyes.
With the Collector go ahead, her civilans showed up in Paris a week after the tournament.
Instantly, they all had a hard time breathing as the world slammed rules on them to regulate the unusual beings that just entered.
They didn't belong here.
Ashley saw this and realised that her people would die from magical starvation if they got trapped here.
Of course, there was no way, she would let that happen, the magical world will always be there to help them.
And as expected, they were invisible to the city.
The two then proceeded to crash in an abandoned house which was abandoned, because this was Paris and this city had the highest death rate in the world.
Those smart and lucky enough to see the Mayor incompetence, had already ran, leaving a lot of houses without owners.
The end result was that the city had never looked so clean from the lack of People.
Only the stupid or special gifted, would even think of moving into Paris.
To hide themselves from the city, they both had magical runes etched on their arms to hide them magical stench and wore glamours, to hide their looks.
For a week, they secretly watched the akuma battles and hid from the monk.
The two of them opened a daycare that promised the learning of magic, in their house.
For free.
Parents materialised.
These people ranged from people who genuinely couldn't take their kids with them, to people who were just looking for free babysitters so that they can pretend to not have kids for an afternoon.
There were 9 kids in total ranging from 3-7 years old.
The instant the door closed and the parents left, her civilans turned to the kids and removed their disguises to show their true appearences.
All of their eyes became understandably huge.
Lorena said. "Alright kids. Who's ready to learn how to make snow bunnies from genuine Witches from the magical world?"
And suddenly all the kids were excited and alert.
It was the beginning of four very magical hours of their lives as they got to pet the magical familiars, be near to people who would make even their parents blush, learn a very simple level spell and be given their own Witch hat and cape.
The parents began showing up and they glamoured back into a regular looking couple, giving the sparkly eyed children a sush guesture as they slid the child back to their parents.
They knew there was no point telling the kids to be quiet about this.
They both know those kids would blab or at least be caught making the snow bunnies at home.
They were right.
The next morning, one of the kids had managed to convince their parents of what happened, by demonstration and now they were on Paris news because of they were.
The kid showed the world how to make snow bunnies and even news reporter Alec Cataldi got in on the action and made his own.
The man wowed as the bunny came alive in front of his eyes and hopped along his arms and sat on his shoulders.
The kid than said, that you shouldn't make too many because your hand go weird and then you have to go to the hospital or something really bad would happen to your hand.
Also, don't experiment with the circle unless you have a teacher,
Yes, he was parroting what they told the children.
After that interview aired, it was a whole different ball game as not only Parisians tried this but people around the world did too.
Suddenly celebrities were coming out with their own bunnies that they had kept alive in expensive, stylish, cold containers and dressed them up in expensive stuff.
Seeing this, it was suddenly the trend to own one and those who can afford to keep them as pets, saw it as a amazing starting pet since it didn't need to be fed, and you just needed to worry about your floors getting wet.
Those who couldn't afford to do so, found that even the poor could make them, you just needed paper and something to write with.
However on the other side of this, an embrassing number of people showed up at their nearest hospital or pharmacy for their hand because they had gone crazy seeing themselves do magic and were now paying for it.
Those who couldn't afford to do so, had to stick to remedies or internet in order to not lose their hand.
All the miraculous holders and Kwami guardiens tried this out of curiousity.
And all of them had questions, as they looked at their Kwamis who was just as amazed as they were.
The miraculous certainly wasn't the only game in town anymore.
And the worst had yet to come.
Soon, there were snow bunny related incidents from idiots who ignored the warning about messing with it without any knowledge and thought they knew better.
They paid the price for their stupidity.
There seemed to be story after story about some idiot flooding an entire apartment complex with snow bunny snow or somebody tempering with it in their car and ended up not only filling their car with snow but it leeked out of the window and caused an accident on the road.
It was halirious for the internet and bystanders to watch but its not so fun when your directly impacted by these idiots.
It's all fun and games until the lawyers start swarming smelling a lawsuit.
And people were being sued for this.
There was suddenly a push for magic like this to be done with a professional in the room or at least take steps to have a license for this.
Just one spell caused such a change in the world.
And it all came from two people.
Two Witches..
Who taught them dream magic...
"Their numbers are increasing" said Ruan, looking through his familiar eyes as the cat peered through the curtains.
The unusual looking Cat draw attention.
Their address was uncovered and people were coming, including the Miraculous holders, the monk and Paris news.
Nobody seemed to be leaving any time soon.
However, despite her civilans feeling no fear and having no problems going out there, Ashley was no breeder.
She had no intention of selling them off and she never told them she would.
So instead, the two of them magically wrote words on the windows and doors that said they would hosting a magic class at the sports stadium if the demand was high enough.
They also wrote a link to her magic store.
She had to advertise and show they were indeed linked.
And then magic protection seals began appearing around the house and before everybody eyes, a magical barrier eracted around the home.
It was completely different from Paris superhero Caraspace power.
And just like that, they proved they were the real deal.
History was made in that moment and the world exploded.
