Joe Jonas was always afraid of thunderstorms, but never wants to admit it. It was usually Nick who always had nightmares, he and Kevin had to comfort him. But this time it was different, the 18 years old boy Joe Jonas is afraid of thunderstorms. He was sitting up on his bed, hugging his legs to his chest. Just then he saw the door open and saw the shadow figure walking towards him, which made Joe even more scared and he shut his eyes as tight as he could. Then he felt the bed slumped and an arm wrapped around him. "Shhh, it's ok baby brother." It was his big brother Kevin. "Kevy's here." Then Joe lets out a sniff.
"How did you know it was me?" Joe asked him.
"Brotherly instinct…and I was gonna come into the room get ready for bed until I heard you whimper." Kevin told him, he and Kevin both shared a room together, while their 2 youngest brothers shared a room together.
Joe smiled.
"Thanks big bro." Joe says.
"Anytime little bro." Kevin said, kissing his head. "I love you baby brother"
"I love you too, big brother." Joe replied.
"Come on, try going to sleep." Kevin told him. "I promise I won't leave your side."
Joe looks outside and at his brother, and then nods his head.
"Kay." Joe quietly said.
Then Kevin laid his back up against the wall, holding onto Joe in his arms as Joe closed his eyes trying to calm down in Kevin's arms. No matter how old Joe gets, he would always be the baby brother in Kevin's eyes.
"Goodnight little bro," Kevin whispers as he kisses his head. "I'll always protect you Joseph."
Kevin would do anything to protect his little brothers.
