Summary: Kagome and Katsuki couldn't be more different despite being twins- at least according to everyone who's met them. She draws people to her naturally, both good and bad. That talent of hers might just be her own downfall when Villians start to pursue her from every side. The pedestal she's placed on is fragile. So dangerously fragile.

Pairing: Undecided.

Disclaimer: I do not own either series. Each belongs to their rightful owners.

Overprotective!Bakugo

Prologue

The water-logged notebook was picked up by someone other than him, and Midoriya immediately paused to look up at the person. Green clashed against brilliant sapphire, and he stood a bit straighter under her gaze.

"Sorry about him…" she murmured quietly, shifting her stare from him and down to the soaked notebook dripping in her petite hands. Her personality was the complete opposite of the person she often had to apologize for. Her head was bowed, and he could see the faint glimmer of irritation simmering in deep blue.

"You don't have to apologize for Kacchan, Kagome-chan," Midoriya said as he took the offered notebook. Her attention remained downcast, even as she drew her arms back to her side. "You do it a lot, though."

Kagome shook her head. "Who else will?" she scoffed, folding her arms over her chest. She knew sure as hell that he wouldn't apologize for his actions. Not in a million years. She loved her brother, but he was a pompous, arrogant, ass.

"Well, what does that matter?" Midoriya asked. Kagome stepped back far enough for him to get out of the water. Once he was, he fell into pace alongside her, her demure nature far easier to be alongside as opposed to the explosive one of her brother. "You don't have to apologize on anyone's behalf," he continued as she stayed quiet. "It's not your fault, anyway."

She sighed in response, shaking her head. Long, luscious locks reminiscent of spilled ink fluttered up around her on all sides. "You're right, but…" she trailed off, turning her attention down to the ground again. She sighed once more and folded her arms across her chest. She knew him better than anyone else. She could feel what he felt, so it always seemed like it was up to her to be the one to make amends on his part- even if it didn't do anything in the end.

In the distance, she could feel his aura at a standstill. He was waiting for her so they could go home together just like he always did. He knew she wasn't weak, but he still refused to let her brave the world outside of a place encased in otherwise guarded walls without him at her side. In a world full of villains, there was no telling what might happen in your everyday life anymore.

His demand for doing so had only doubled and tripled when she got yanked down that old well and into the past. She'd been back for three weeks, and on top of helping her grades recover with studying, he was also taking his title as the older sibling to extremes at this point- if you were to ask her, that is. He'd definitely have a different response, probably with a few crude remarks along with it.

Kagome stepped away from her green-haired companion, offering him a sweet smile. She was oblivious to the way his cheeks dusted red when she did. She turned on her heel to continue ahead. "Katsuki is waiting for me," she said. "I tell him I'm capable of going home by myself, but he still insists on waiting at the gate." She shook her head with a faint laugh. "I should go catch up with him before he gets annoyed."

With those words, she made the trek over to where the blonde in question was waiting. He lounged against the gate, arms crossed over his chest. He wore an unpleasant look on his face and she could tell immediately- he was pouting.

"What took ya' so damn long?" he asked upon spotting her closing the distance. Kagome smiled in response and paused alongside him.

"I left something in my desk, so I had to go back and get it," she said. She left out the part about her stopping to talk with Midoriya. "I told you to just go ahead without me, and I'd catch up."

He scoffed in response, turning on his heel and leaving through the gate. "Whatever, let's go," he said. Kagome glared at his turned back, pursing her lips. "You need all the time you can get to study for the exams."

She puffed her cheeks out in response in a pout. Still, she knew his claim rang true, so she didn't bother to try and argue it any.

He kept his pace at a slow one so she could easily keep up. Though her wounds had mostly healed from her days in the past, there were a few that were still present. Enough so that she had to keep them bandaged, such as the ones on her thigh and ribs.

Admittedly, she didn't care about being a hero. It all sounded like too much struggle and strife, drama, and little to no reprieve. She could respect the drive others had for it, however.

Still, despite her lack of interest, she was still aiming for the Hero Course alongside her brother. It was no surprise to anyone in their school that they were aiming for the same school. Not because she was striving for anything in particular with it, but because she wanted to spend the rest of her time in school alongside Katsuki. That, and it'd probably be a decent enough challenge for her in the end, even if she had no interest in heroism. After all, she'd played hero in the past. It's nothing she'd consider grad. Too much stress. That was more like it, if you asked her. Anyway, it's not like she had to be a hero or anything to protect people.

Her Quirk was counted as a mutation of sorts. She certainly hadn't inherited it from her parents. That's something they all knew.

She could remember when it first formed- back when she was five or so and she was playing that stupid "Kagome-Kagome" game with some of the kids in her school. It felt odd at first, being able to so clearly see who was behind her suddenly, but that was only the start of her strange Quirk. As she got older, what she could do just kept growing. Up until she turned fifteen, and she was all of a sudden yanked down the well. Her powers grew, and, much like Katsuki, she could create powerful bursts from her palms. But… her's were much different than her brother's.

For starters, hers was spiritual energy. Purification, not explosions. With a bit of training, she was able to channel it through other mediums now, such as she'd done with her bow and arrows. Even now, she was learning more and more that she could achieve with it. Steadily, she was learning how to create things out of it other than her barriers. Things such as orbs or even arrows.

She sighed, surfacing from her thoughts and falling to lay on her back in bed, gazing up at her ceiling. It was barely six in the evening, and she felt like going for a walk. She knew that if he saw her on the way out, then Katsuki would join her automatically. It was a reflex for him at this point, she swore it was.

She shook her head and got out of bed. She patted her skirt back in place and left her room. Just as she expected, Katsuki was lounging on the couch when she entered the sitting room. He looked at her when she appeared, eventually getting up when she slipped her shoes on.

"Where you goin'?" he asked. Still, as he did, he came to join her by the door.

She shrugged and waited for him to put his shoes on, offering him a smile. "I just wanted to go for a walk," she said.

"Tch," Bakugo opened the door and walked out first, leaving her to follow behind him. "Whatever, let's go."

"You know you don't have to go," she remarked. "I can take care of myself."

"Cram it, I'm goin'," was his response.

Auroua-chan: Honestly the idea of sibling Kagome and Bakugo is kinda funny and a little adorable (especially if he's protective of her.) They're twins for this story.

Kagome doesn't have an interest in being a hero, but she's aiming for the hero course to be alongside Bakugo.

The pairing isn't decided on. Suggestions are more than welcome as well. I have a few ideas, as well as a few one-sided obsession things (particularly Overhaul once we get to him.)

Anyway, that's it for now! Thank you all for reading, and I hope you all enjoyed. Hopefully I caught all the errors before posting, but if not sorry.

Please remember to Reivew&Favorite&Follow, thank you~

Bye for now~
