Blake stared at the thing that dared to take her spot. That dared to usurp her rightful position, that taunted her from the comfortable seat that had once been hers.

'Move.' She ordered silently. It did not.

She had been a queen once, head resting on her throne and ears being softly massaged by her loyal subject. Now she was a mere peasant, and her usurper was reaping all the benefits she had once had to hand so long ago.

Now she had nothing.

"Blake?"

She blinked and looked up, taking in the worried look her blonde boyfriend gave her. It was sweet, how he was always looking out for her.

'Now if only he could let her nap on his lap again.'

"Jauuune!" She protested like the mature young adult she was. "I want my spot back!"

"I really need to finish this essay Blake." Jaune replied, giving her a sympathetic look that turned into an unsubtle roll of the eyes when she glared at the laptop on his lap. She'd get him back for that later. "My grades aren't the best and if they get any worse I'll have Oobleck, Pyrrha and Ruby all breathing down my neck."

Blake glanced at his neck. She could see why they would want that, especially Pyrrha, who's crush for her partner had not eased despite Blake dating him for two months now. Jaune's neck was very soft, pale and oooh so deliciously inviting. She just wanted to kiss and bite it then do it all over again until he was begging for mercy and his neck was marked with dark bruises.

"Errr…Blake?" Jaune asked again, breaking her from her trance-like state. "You good?"

"No." She retorted adamantly, pointing at the offending piece of technology still on his lap. "Remove now! Replace it with my head and scratch my ears damnit!"

"Do you want me expelled from Beacon?" Jaune demanded rhetorically. "Cos that's what will happen if I don't get this essay done in time."

He had her there damnit. She wouldn't mind trying a long distance relationship with him, Vale wasn't that far after all, but she'd be damned if the thought of not seeing him for breakfast or lunch or dinner or class or in the library or in the commons or in either of their dorm rooms didn't break her heart.

"Fine." Blake huffed. "When is it due and what is it about?"

"It's due tomorrow, and its about the Faunus Rights Revolution." Jaune replied cheerily, turning his laptop to show the work he'd done so far. "I'm on paragraph three out of twelve! Minus the conclusion that is."

Blake's eye twitched. Her ear twitched. Her body practically vibrated with excitement.

Faunus rights? She knew all about those. She'd help him do this essay and then he could turn off that damn laptop, remove it from his lap and replace it with her head before giving her ears the best damn scritching of her life!

She leaned back and cracked her knuckles, and Jaune gave her a look that was somehow both curious and terrified.

"Prepare that cute little mind of yours Jaune." Blake told him dryly, hips swaying as she sauntered over to him. "I'm about to blow your mind."

'And then you can give me ear scritches again. Deal?'

The blonde said nothing, too terrified of her as she neared. It brought a smile to her face and it did…things to her.

'Hmm. Maybe more than ear scritches? Nah. Just ear scritches for now. I need them more than anything else.'

She plopped down onto the sofa next to him, letting out a fake yawn and resting her arm on his shoulders before leaning so close to him she could feel the warmth emitting from his red face like a furnace.

Then she blew his mind. With her knowledge of Faunus rights activism and history of course.

What else could she have been doing?

Four hours.

Four hours of precious time.

Four hours that turned dusk to night.

Four hours of goodnights from all their friends as they went to bed whilst they stayed up to do the homework Jaune had decided to do at the last minute.

'He's so lucky to have me.' Blake thought tiredly, eyes drooping and head slumped against his shoulder. Her eyes fluttered before she remembered why she had done all this in the first place.

"Head scritches!" She hissed quietly, startling the blonde as he dozed off. "Now!"

"Let me just save-"

He didn't finish the sentence nor the action he started to do. Blake snatched the laptop from his lap, finally removing it from her rightful place before clicking the save button so hard the tip of her finger turned red. She promptly shut the damn thing off and slid it onto the coffee table before turning to Jaune and giving him a warning look, daring him to defy her.

"Choo, choo!" Jaune said, leaning back into the sofa and holding his hands up in surrender. "All aboard the Arc Express!"

If she had the energy she would have rolled her eyes at him. Or made a snarky comment. As it was she practically leaped onto the sofa, resting her head on his lap and purring as she rubbed her face into his belly, the warm feeling of the soft fabric of his hoodie and his own natural warmth like the feeling of her first baby blanket.

It was warm. Soft. Secure. Safe.

But something was missing.

She leaned back so a single amber eye could glare up at him.

"Hands on my ears, scritching, now!" She ordered and he nodded quickly before obliging said order.

"Yes ma'am." Jaune replied, blissfully soft hands rubbing softly over her dark-furred faunus appendages and making a low moan of satisfaction erupt from her.

"Oh yeah…" She panted softly. "That's the spot. Right there Jaune!"

Yang yawned and stumbled towards the break room. Her partner hadn't come back yet from helping her boyfriend out and it was starting to get late.

Yang shipped the two of them, they were like magnets and it was adorable to watch, but she wasn't about to let either of them accidentally start taking advantage of the other when they needed help.

"Oh gods!"

Yang froze just outside the break room. That couldn't have been…

"Right there! Oh gods! Oh Jaune! Y-Your hands are so good…don't stop!"

Yang swallowed nervously and slowly backed up a few steps.

Firstly, she would need to make sure neither she or Ruby ever went in the break room ever again. Secondly, she would need to tell Weiss to do exactly the opposite. And finally, she would need to find somewhere quiet to deal with…the emotions that had suddenly sprang up inside of her.

Damn Blake for getting the good one before Yang even knew Jaune was a good one.

"Yes Jaune! Keep going! Right there! Ohhhh….N-Nyaaaa!"

Yang did not know if she wanted to drink chlorine or take a quick peak in the room behind her.

Damnit Blake.
