AN: My first fic, please be kind and give constructive feedback. Also I've been looking for a fanfic like this for a while, when Taro isn't Senpai or his character is just replaced all together, but I couldn't find one, so I decided to write one.
To set the context of this Fanfic, I made (Minor) changes the lore and plot of yandere simulator, and some changes to the world around yandere simulator, such as Maximilian (Protagonist) is an 18-year-old English war veteran who served in Afghanistan as a 16-year-old Boy-soldier.
If you're under 18 and serving in the British Armed Forces you cannot be sent into a warzone, Just for Context.
Why a Veteran? Because it makes his character a more interesting, coping with the horrors of war, while in a foreign school being stalked by a psychotic girl totally captivated with the protagonist, while keeping his past out of light from the school public.
Head and Heart
An explosion of a high pitched, rhythmic sound awakens me from my slumber, after a few moments of confusion followed by relentless eye rubbing, I sat up straight and reached for my phone. It's 6:00. On Monday.
"First day of School… Fucking Hurray…" I mumbled as I threw my duvet off my sleep deprived carcass.
I groan and mumble as I stand up straight and make my way towards my door, It's shower time.
After a nice, warm awakening soak, I brush my teeth and get dressed in my uniform and make my way down the stairs towards the kitchen for a good cup of coffee and some breakfast.
"Good morning, Max" My farther says to me with an unusually positive attitude.
"Mornin' dad" I replied with my typical monotone voice.
I take a good look at his face and while he appears as calm as usual the signs of excitement are sill there, However I decided to leave the subject be and not mention or comment about it in any form or way, the reason being, I've got my own shit to deal with.
"Sleep well?" He asks.
"No" I huffed as I rest my head in my palms.
He gives me a slight frown and pours me a cup of freshly made coffee. He places the coffee mug on the table and proceeds to sit down and stare at me for a little bit.
"More nightmares?" He asked, voice barely a whisper.
"Yea…" I took a sip of my coffee and lent back in my chair, Eyes facing the roof before continuing, "They keep getting worse and worse… sometimes I see them outside of windows, behind a crowd, In paintings and pictures… It feels like I'm going Insane" I sighed before taking another sip of my coffee. My farther sights before taking his glasses off and stares at me disheartened, and I know what that means, He's going to give me another one of his reassurance speeches.
"Look max… I can't imagine, what it was like over there, nor the things you had to do… But I want you to remember, I'm here for you, I'm always here." He says with a slight smile.
"Thanks dad…" I feel a slight smile form on my lips as look at him. However, our moment of bonding is Interrupted by my alarm going off, I know this alarm well, Is the creatively titled "Time to leave!" alarm.
"You got to go?" My farther asks as he stretches in his seat.
"Yea, I best be off before Osana gets pissed off again." I said before standing up straight, Getting a light chuckle out of my farther.
"I don't know why you still meet up with her before school, From the way you've described it, she's quite rude and harsh towards you, are you sure you should be friends with her?" He asks with some concern in his voice.
"Well, I hate to break it to ya, She's the only friend I've got." I chuckled sadly as I made my way to the front door.
"Well, good luck! And have fun on your first day!" I heard him call as I opened the door.
"Thanks, I will!" I called back before slamming the door shut.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and checked the time. 7:49. Shit.
"Shit, I'm going to be late!" I cursed as I picked up my pace and started running, turning corners at lightning-fast rates, jumping over bins, Fences and benches, to be honest I'm loving this, my adrenalin is pumping through my veins, I should do this more often!
My thoughts were suddenly cut short when I bumped into a girl in front of me, I grabbed her and held her close to shield her from the fall as my back took all the impact. After hitting the floor, I pushed her of me, before I shakily stood up straight, before looking down at the girl before me offering my hand out as help. She took it, Which I'm glad she did as I'm the one at fault here but remained silent as her dark grey eyes store right back into mine, I decided now would be the right time to apologize.
"I'm, sorry I didn't see you coming, are you ok? Did you bump your head at all?" I asked as she continued to stare, almost as if she was in a trance.
"O-oh! Yes, I'm fine! Just took me by surprise is all!" She quickly says as she pats herself down.
"I'm sorry I didn't ask for your name?" I asked as stared at her.
"My name is Ayano. Ayano Aishi." She told me with her look of awe still present on her face.
"Nice to meet you Aishi-San. My name is Maximilian, Maximilian Anderson" I told her, and I could have sworn her eyes lit up.
"N-nice to meet you too! Anderson-San!" She said, even her voice had this 'awe' present in it.
"Well, it was nice to meet you, but I'm falling late for school, it was nice meeting you, and I hope to see you again sometime soon!" I said with a polite bow, she bowed in return before I turned and carried on my way to school.
Upon reaching the main gates I was glad to find that there were a few people waiting and speaking outside the school gate.
"Just. Made. It" I say between huffs and puffs. I look around to find Osana nowhere to be seen, which seeing as I missed her and would rather avoid her wrath, I'm best off avoiding her until lunch, which should not be so har-
"You!" A voice beckons me from behind a close tree, a voice I was not hoping to hear.
Today was not going well.
