A/N: Hello everyone, MiniTennyson here and I'm officially back for my newest (and maybe last) fanfic I'll do on this website and it will also probably be crossposted on AO3 and Tumblr shortly after this drops.
Before we get the ball rolling, I believe I have to answer some questions you guys may have:
Q: Where have you been?!!
A: I was mainly on Instagram posting art and stuff, playing some games and trying to come up
Q: Why may this fic be your last one?
A: The main reason is because, as I said before, I'm trying to come up with an original webnovel or come and also grow my following and skills as an artist and I want to focus on these and other aspects of my life that come over fanfiction.
Q: Why did I choose to do an Invader Zim X Ben 10?
A: I just rewatched the entirety of Invader zim those past 2 days and saw that it and Ben 10 have no crossovers together and zi thought...why not.
Q: When does this fic take place?
A: Sometime during Invader Zim S1, just a little while before the events of E20 Tak: The Hideous New Girl and a few months after and Au version of AF S1.
Q: Will you adapt the comics, the movie or the unmade episodes of Invader Zim?
A: I will certainly adapt Enter the Florpus, I dunno about unmade episodes or the comics through. The comics aren't really going to be adapted, through the unmade episodes are a maybe.
Q: What version of Ben is this?
A: As I said before, this is an AU version of AF Ben. By AU, I mean mainly the fact that Bne is 14 instead of 15 and that he never gave up the Omnitrix. Due to him never having given up the Omnitrix, Ben already has access to many of his later transformations from UAF, OV and Reboot.
Q: Will this fic have shipping?
A: Maybe, maybe not. The only potential ships for Ben would be Invader Tenn and Tak. Gaz could've worked but seeing how I use a 14-years old Ben who is older than her, I won't use her in that way.
Note: Rated T for blood, violence, mild swearing and grotesque imagery. I don't own anything other than the original ideas and events, everything else is owned by Man of Action and Cartoon Network Johnen Vasques and Nickelodeon respectively.
Okay, now that this overly long winded rant of an author note, I'll let you read ahead. Hope you enjoy this!
My name is Ben Tennyson, maybe you heard of me, hero of heroes, savior of the-wait, what? You never heard of me? Well, that sucks.
But so we're all on the same page, I'm 14 years old and I'm the wielder of the Omnitrix, a device that allows me to transform into over 20 different aliens.
I got the Omnitrix 4 years ago when I was out on a crosscountry roadtrip with my Grandpa Max and doofus cousin Gwen, and ever since then I used it to defeat the likes of Vilgax, the Highbreed and other villains along the years.
I almost gave up the watch after a villain known as Malware took away my favorite alien and forced my hand into making me kill me.
But luckily my friends and family were there and made me change my mind on that and I kept doing hero stuff.
Months earlier this year, an alien race known as the Hoghbreed invaded Earth with their DNAliens army, and Grandpa vanished. I had to team up with my cousin Gwen and my former enemy Kevin in order to face this new threat.
A lot happened. Grandpa Max almost died. My parents found out about the Omnitrix. I found other plumber kids to help the cause, and I eventually befriended one of the highbreed named Reiny while stranded on alien world.
This all eventually concluded into a climatic battle where I and my alliesmanaged to defeat the DNAliens and stop the Highbreed from destroying the universe.
Following that event, I started to get bored at how apparently nothing interesting was going on in Bellwood anymore. No alien attacks, no crazy villains and no Plumber business to do. It was starting to feel like this notorious boredom of nothing happening will never end.
Eventually, through...something finally happened:
About a week ago, Grandpa Max told me about an alien signal having came from a southern USA town known as The City(really original name, I know) and he put me on the case to investigate it.
Just so I had where to stay during my investigation time, Grandpa set me up to live with an old friend of his, Professor Membrane, and his kids, and also for me to go to The City's school in case the investogation takes too long.
I arrived in the City not even a few days later, and meet Professor Membrane at the airport, he seems like a pretty chill guy even through the man's ego and overall proud attitude got a bit on my nerves.
After a short car ride, the two of usarrived to Membrane's house where the Professor presented me to his two kids Dib and Gaz Membrane. Both were pretty peculiar, I have to admit, even for my standards.
What I mean by that you may ask? Well, it'll be better if I just introduce you to the two.
First, there is Gaz. Membrane's daughter and Dib's younger sister. At 11-years old, she in apathetic, cynical, sarcastic and plain rude. The girl also scares me, a lot, especially since I tried to play Sumo Slammers with her and she almost ripped my arm off after I beat herat the game. Yeesh. Just yeesh. I think it would be better if I stay away from her and try not to anger her.
Secondly, there is Dib. Membrane's son and Gaz's older brother. At 12-years old, he is a nerdy, weird, intelligent, somewhat friendly and supernatural sci-fi obsessed kid. This obsession of his goes as far as to think that the kid next door Zim is an alien. I thought he was just joking or he was just overthinking things, I really did, but after the incident that happened yesterday at SK-I mean school, I'm starting to think otherwise.
I'm certain that the green-skinned kid is an alien now and that happened not even a day ago.
To understand me and believe what I'm believing, it'll just be better if I tell you what happened.
It all started out on a rainy morning when I started going to the Skool.
Opening: Invader Zim Theme
The opening starts by shwoing the irken armada logo on a screen and as the words Invasion flash on screen, the entire Irken armada cheers.
The scene swaps to Zim jumping on the podium as his fellow Irken and the Tallest look at him. Zim shows his leaders a stupid smile, caus
Zim is seen being pushed into an Irken ship before Gir is thrown inside as well, the ship closing and taking off, before it flies into the Irken armada space and teleports into the Earth's surface.
The ship is seen landing on Earth where wire-like tentacle suddenly shoot out of it, creating a lanky-looking purple house. Zim jumps on the roof as tentaclesshoot out of the ground.
The scene swaps to showing Ben in a green setting with the Universal Pace symbol ad a smirk appeared on the face as he flashed the Omnitrix at the screen.
Ben's scene is followed by a scene showing Tak and her GIR unit in a purple setting with the Irken armada symbol as she and the unit glitch out to reveal their true forms.
The following scene showed Dib sitting alone in a blueish setting with files scattered around it and the Puffy Eye symbol in the center. Tentacles suddenly break through the symbol, crashing the scene like broken glass.
The following scene shows Gaz walking through a pink skull-filled background before angrily flipping to the next scene as if hers was a page.
The last of these kind of svenesshoes Gir running towards the screen like a madman, breaking the screen likeglass and causing another scene with blueprints behind showing Gir smiling dorkily.
After the introduction screnes end, the Earth is seen covered in tentacle with Zim's house atop it as the Irken in question was laughing maniacally.
The final scene shows that the scene was just the imagination of Zim, as he was actually setting in the play area of the Skool in his human disguise.
Zim is so caught up in his fantasies that doesn't notice Dib dodging an upcoming ball, causing the alien to be hit by the ball instead and fall face-first into a puddle of water.
The thrme song ends when the screen is covered in green circuits as the logo appears:

THE OMNITRIX OF DOOM
CHAPTER ONE:
NEW INVADER IN TOWN
Ben was at the time sitting in front of the table as the many kids in the room looked at him as if they were judging him quietly. But the teen got more creeped out by the other students than stressed out.
Some kids were looking blanky at him as saliva was drooling down their mouths, other were just looking at Ben, others were doing gross stuff that he will never forget and he could've sweared that one of those kids didn't blink at all.
"Students, we have a new exhange student today, Ben Tennyson. Now, c'mon Ben, PRESENT YOURSELF TO THE CLASS!" the teacher Miss Bitters exclaimed.
The sudden yell startled the teenage hero a bit but he quickly recovered from i as he started presenting himself to the class, feeling his ego inflating at the mere thought of what those kids may think of him, through not able to tell anyone about the watch is a letdown.
"Hey everyone, I'm Ben Tennyson, I'm 14. My hobbies include playing video games and helping people. I like Sumo Slammers, smoothies and chilly fries. I dislike clowns, peacocks and smoothie not from Mr. Smoothies. Also, you could call me a hero of sorts, I help people in-" Ben said with aproud smirk ashe expected a wave of applause but he instead was intrerrupted midsentence and had the entire class laughing at him.
"H...huh?! W...why are you all laughing?" Ben asked the other students in confusion and annoyment.
"A hero?! You are as crazy as Zim and Dib are! "Hero", he says! Bwahahahahahahaha!!" as soon as one of the kids said that, the entire class started roaring into laughter once more.
"Sigh...I hate kids, " Miss Bitters said in anger as she massaged her temples. "Benjamin you go stay...there! Right between Zim and Dib!"
Ben did as the teached said and made his way to his desk in between the two students.
Zim was a bug-eyed student with weirldy green skin and spiky black hair. Meanwhile, Dib was Membrane's kid and had black hair with an upwards spike of hair, brown eyes and comically large glasses.
As Ben sit on his desk, he could feel the tension between the two as Zim and Dib exhanged angry glares.
Dib started to get enough of his colleagues laughing and not realising that Zim is a threat so he decided to take matters into his own hands.
"Enough laughing at the nee student class! Are you all too ignorant to see?! ZIM IS AN ALIEN! He lies to all of you! How can't you see the truth?!" Dib yelled as he got and pointed his index finger towards the green-skinned kid in an acussing manner.
"NO! YOU LIE!!! LIAR!!!!" Zim suddenly screamed causing the entire class to look at him suspiciously and him to sweatdrop. "Erm...I mean! Of course I'm not an alien. Don't trust this crazy Dib!"
Upon hearimg that from Zim, the entire class started to laugh at Dib now.
"B...but!! Look at his eyes! He has inhumanly large eyes!! He looks like a freaking bug!"
"Ummm...I just have an disease that makes my eyes bigger, Dib!"
"Yeah, Dib, he has a disease! Show some emphaty man!" one of the students yelled at the Membrane kid and caused Dib to shut up and sit down.
The whole incident just caused some confusion to Ben as he didn't even know what to believe anymore.
He thought that either Dib was crazy or Zim id an actual alien. And Ben was going to go eith the former before the Omnitrix suddenly started beeping.
The teenage hero looked at the watch from under his desk and noticed the fact that the watch started looking for a nearby DNA sample.
Now the truth was clear. Zim was an alien and seemingly just Dib was smart enough too notice. Wow. That says a lot about humanity now that I think about it.
But Ben couldn't be sure that Zim is an evil alien, and even if that was to be the case, what kind of evil could the little guy do?
And that was not all, after that it got even more weirder and the situation was becoming complicated.
Ben was at the time at the Membrane household and was strolling through the similar coated purplish white halls before reaching the living room.
The only person there other than him was Gaz who was sitting at the ground and obsessively smsshing the buttons of her Game Slave 2 console.
The teenage hero looked around for any sight of Dib but failed to get a good look at the nerdy kid.
"Hey Gaz, " Ben greeted
"Hey. Can't talk, I'm playing, " Gaz said coldly causing the Omnitrix wielder to sweat drop a little at the hostile reaction. That part sounded more like a threat than a fact.
"Umm...where is Dib? I can't seem to find him, "
"My stupid older brother is in the kitchen, stalking Zim like the freak he is!"
"Oh, okay then, thanks. See ya,"
"See ya. And just a warning:"
"And what's that?" Ben asked the younger girl in confusion.
"If you ever talk to me when I'm in the playing Zone, let's just say that someone will lose an arm, a leg or an eye...your choice, " Gaz said in a chiling manner as her eyes directly stared into Ben's soul.
"N...noted, " Ben trembled before running into the kitchen, hoping noy to anger the tween girl any more.
When in the kitchen, the teenager found Dib sitting at the window frame, looking overto Zim's house using binoculars.
"Hey Dib, " Ben said in a chill manner as he put his hand on the boy's shoulder but it had less than the ideal impact.
"GAAAAAGHHH! D-don't do that! You could've given me a heart attack!" Dib shouted in shock before calming down slightly. "What is it?! Can'
"Why are you spying on that neighborhood Zim kid?"
"Gah, you wouldn't understand...nobody does!"
"What? That Zim is actually and alien bit everyone else is too ignorant to see it?"
Dib gasped and turned to look at Ben with big eyes as if not believing that someone else actually noticed.
"W...woah! Y...you saw he's an alien! Aww, yeah! Then that means you'll help me stop Zim from taking over the Earth?"
"Sorry but no, I know you may think Zim is a menace to society, but...I mean, look at the guy, what's the worse thing he could do?" Ben said with a relaxed smirk ashe watched Zim before Dib suddenly gasped.
"What is Zim doing with that kaser gun?! Nothing good, that's what! I'm going there! HEY ZIM!!" Dib yelled before he jumped through the oprn window and
"Dib, wait!" Ben exclaimed in an attempt to stop the boy but he was already gone. "He'll be fine...just fine..., " the teen thought as he looked on at the scene.
At first Dib and Zim just screamed and yellled at one another before the glasses kid jumped onto the Irken. That's when it happened. Zim suddenly pushed Dib off of him before pointing a laser gun at him.
Zim started laighing before he started shooting lasers towards Dib who tried his best to doge them and not get burnt to death.
"Okay...maybe he won't be fine. It's hero time!" Ben exclaimed as he lookeddown at the Omnitrix, popped the dial up, scrolled through the transfornation playlist before getting to the alien he wanted and slapped the dial.
In a flash of green eyes, in Ben's pace stood a humanoid velocitaptor alien with claws, wheel feet and black, white and blue skin. "XLR8!!! Okay, I think this is enough!!"
XLR8 suddenly jumped out of the window, and arrived into the front yard of Zim's house and swipped in to catch Dib in his arms before dodging a few lasers.
Dib looked up towards the speedy alien jn shock and gasped before yelling: "Ah-ah! Another alien! Wait...that symbol..." the nerdy boy said before realising that the green hourglass symbol on the kinicelenar looked a lot like Ben's watch.
"Wait...Ben?! Is that you?! But how?! Are you an alien actually? You can transform into them or...w...what!" Dib shrieked loudly in XLR8's "ears" causing the alien to drop Dib.
"I'll explain later, but for now...C'mon Zim, buddy...let's
"No, I won't stop! Not even when you, the new kid that can seemingly transform into an alien can stop the wrath of Zim! Prepare for your DOOM!!! DOOM, I SAID!!!!" the small green Irken screamed proudly as he targeted the speedy alien with the laser gun.
Zim started shooting around like crazy as XLR8 was seemingly dodging alkthe lasers launched at him, causing said lasers to fly off and hit GIR, some windows and the gnomes in front of Zim's houze.
"No, not Jonathan! You killed Jonathan! Oh, and GIR too, I guess but mostly Jonathan. You mooonster!!" Zim shouted in horror as he was holding the broken and "lifeless" porcelain body of the garde gnome.
"You'll pay! PAY!!" Zim roared as he pointed the laser gun towards the kineceleran and attempted to shoot him, only for him to take the blaster away from the alien's clutches.
"Oooookay, buddy, enough playing around. Let's stop this right now!" XLR8 said with a smirk as he kicked the laser gun in the air before crashing it in half. Zim was looking at the destroyed laser gun in shock.
"How dare you destroy the Irken Armada's tech! You and your slimy human-or alien-hands!" Zim yelled in rage as he clutched his fists.
"Yeah, yeah. Are you going to give up your plans to world domination or whatever?" XLR8 asked, hoping that the little alien will change his mind.
"Give up? GIVE UP?! Oh no...nononono...this isn't the first or last time you defeat or hear of me...! Soon...I'll be your darkest nightmare! You will rue the day you ever crossed paths with me! And the Earth will soon be mine! Nyehehehehehehe!! NYAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Zim laughed maniacally as he slowly walked backwards inside the door to his house.
"Nooo!! You can't do that Zim!! ZIM!!!!" Dib screamed in desperation but Zim just smirked as he slowly closed the door, his red big eyes shining menacingly.
"Don't you think you're being a bit overdramatic?" Ben asked as he transformed from XLR8 back into human form.
"NOOO!!!" Dib yelled as he hit his fists into the ground repeteadly and holding his head down in shame.
"But don't you worry. Even if Zim does something truly evil...I'll be here to stop him..."
As that was happening, none of the three teens present saw the dark figure menacingly sitting atop a nearby roof.
The figure was a teenage girl with dark blue hair and dark purple eyes with a feral-looking black cat with red eyes sitting in her lap. This was Tak and her SIR unit.
"Hmmm...that boy can transform into aliens huh...? Heh...this is interesting. Wouldn't thought he would be stupid enough to let Zim live but...those are just facts..., " Tak said with slight curiosity.
"If I manage to get him on my side...I would get rid of that annoying Zim once and for all and also bring a powerful addition to the Irken army...maybe the Tallest will even give me another rank...heheheh...!" the Irken invader said with a curious smirk as she and her SIR unit jumped off of the roof.
As she landed, her human appearance glitched out, revealing her ugly Irken appearance with a rectangle-shaped hair, curled antennas, big purple bug eyes and a metal implated on her forehead. She looked behind her to seee Dib and Ben leaving, causing a crazy smirk to appear across her face.
"You interest me, Ben Tennyson... Nyehehehe...see you tommorrow at school...Nyahaha...ahaha...NYAHAHAHAHA!!" Tak laughed in a shrill voice as she yurned her holographic disguise bavk on walked out of view just as the nearby street lamp glitched out a bit before finally going off.
A/N: Well, this was the chapter. Ben met the Invader Zim cast, Dib and Zim found out about the Omnitrix and Tak her SIR unit found quite the peculiar interest in Ben.
This was it everyone, at 4k words, I'm pretty proud of how the chapter turned out and I hope you guys enjoyed it as well!
