Man: Is this Matthew Casey?
Cas: Yes, it is, why?
Man: I'm with a service in Puerto Rico, we have a firefighter leader position open if you wanna take it.
Cas: I'll think about it and get back to you, while I have you on, do you know Gabriela or Antonio Dawson?
Man: They're on the rescue team, I used to be one of them, then I quit and began my current role.
Cas: I'll think about the offer.
Flashback in Chicago
G: There's always room in my tent, Matt Casey.
Present day
S: Hey, man, I'm glad you were here.
Cas: Glad to be here, congratulations.
K: Thanks, Matt.
Bod: Casey, it's great to have you back in Chicago, even if it is only for a little bit.
Cas: Chief, good to see you guys again.
Bre: Matt, after the break-up, I think you and I can still be friends.
Cas: I would like that.
Bre: I'll give you two options, I just got off the phone with Heather Darden, the coast is clear for her to come back to Oregon.
Cas: That's great!
Bre: The Chicago resignation is permanent however, I also talked to Dawson, she said congratulations to Severide and Kidd.
S: Tell her we say thanks. Bre: I will, and there's something else, I think it's best if we talk in private.
Cas: What is it?
Bre: Rumor has it that you also have a job offer in Puerto Rico, if you accept it, go after Dawson, keep an eye on her and make sure she's not troubling you.
Casey dials a number.
Cas: Hey, Chuck, I thought about your offer, yes, I'll do it, when will I begin?
Man: Monday.
Cas: Thank you.
Later
Cas: Just told the boys that their mom's coming back, it's great.
Herr: You're not staying in Chicago anytime soon, are you?
Cas: Nope, accepted an offer somewhere else.
Cruz: Good luck, and be safe.
Cas: Thanks, Joe.
M: Casey, glad you came back for the wedding.
Cas: Mouch, it's great to be back, I gotta go tomorrow, so, goodbye.

Bod: Casey just called, he's safe.
Bre: Thank god.
Cruz: Perfect.
Herr: Good luck with his new career.
In Puerto Rico
Cas: Thanks for meeting me.
A: No problem, man, Gabby's gonna be so happy when she finds out you're here.
Cas: It's true, she is.
A: Like you, I often miss life in Chicago, good people, good work, good food.
Cas: Antonio, I accepted a job here, I'm here to stay.
A: Gabby's gonna be more happy now.
Cas: I wanna make this a surprise, don't tell her.

A: Matt, it's time, Gabby's gonna be back shortly.
Cas: It's been awhile, she's gonna be shocked.
A: That's her.
Gabby shows a part shocked, part surprised look when she comes face-to-face with someone she didn't think would be in Puerto Rico.
G: Matt?
Cas: Hey, Gabby.
She is delighted and ecstatic.
G: What are you doing here?
Cas: Got a job offer here, I took it.
G: Not the same as me, obviously.
Cas: Nope, firefighter position.
G: So, you're here to stay.
Cas: Yes.
G: Brett called me as you may have known, Severide and Kidd got married, I said congratulations.
Cas: They say thanks.
G: You and I will be together again, here?
Cas: The job took me here, so, yes.
G: When do you begin?
Cas: Tomorrow.
G: That night, during the fundraiser was incredible, no mistake as you predicted, but, something did happen, I was pregnant, again.

G: I tried to contact you but you didn't pick up.
Cas: Was it successful this time?
G: Yes, the baby's out right now, she'll be back shortly, her name's Andrea Leslie Casey.
Cas: After Darden and Shay, perfect.

Andrea arrives.

G: She likes you already, Matt.

The two lean towards each other and kiss very passionately.
