An unknown soldier tried to put a damper on Jeice's day, to no avail.

Jeice sat down at a table by himself, unusual behavior as the norm was having seated himself next to Burter. He was staring outside of the communal hall's windows again, most likely mesmerized by all the stars. Counting which ones were red, green, blue, yellow and white. To his misfortune, however, a rather louder individual walked by and decided to draw attention from the nearest people around themselves.

"You're nothing without those other guys, aren't you? Is that why you're sitting all alone? Because you know you can't match up to them?" He spat, getting closer and closer. The room was now quiet, waiting for the second man's response. Though he would only keep staring out the window, and spinning the same pencil from the conference meeting in between his thumb and index finger.

"Hello? You'd better not be ignoring me, you know you could learn a few things!" The elite barked, for his efforts would not go in vain. But Jeice was so busy having his own personal affair with the constellations, even spotting the Ursa Major.

"You're so hopeless, you know that! You're just a hopeless case," and with that last remark thrown his way, he grabbed the pencil Jeice spun, and turned his face in their general direction. He bit the part of a lollipop he was sucking in his mouth with his sharp molars, chest rising up and down from deep laughter.

"Ah, what's the little man gonna do no-"

To everyone else's shock in the cafeteria, and the bigger male's dismay, Jeice grabbed the collar of the other's armor and pulled him down to make eye contact with each other. Leaning in, the mutant's lips brushed the unnamed man's. An audible gasp heard, he took the small piece of candy out of their mouth.

"Thanks for the sucker, sucker."

Jeice kept his new prize, gaining back his old one as he then jumped up and grabbed the pencil out of their colleague's hand. He walked away and turned the corner, leaving a very crimson and astonished face behind him.

Salza passed by the same community room and saw the last of the scene, raising an eyebrow at his new coworker and asked what was going on. Jeice demonstrated the same maneuver just seconds before.

"Someone tried degrading me, but I give that pleasure just to you."

And so now Salza turned a deeper shade of indigo, cursing the latter for always being so nonchalant about saying those kinds of things and just getting away, not staying for more like he would have secretly wanted. At least he knew his feelings were being… reciprocated? Returned? It was still too early to say such a thing. That they could be a thing, perhaps.
