The second chapter is here, with a lot of things starting to unfold, with our fan favorite Jojo, Josuke Higashikata, on a mission in Canada, but an unexpected sight turns him in a slightly new direction.
Aztec 13: Whoa, slow down there with the ideas, bud. I know you're enthusiastic, but some of those ideas will be too much for the story.
We see Josuke sitting at a table in front of a cafe in the now sunny town in Morioh. Across from him on the table was another person, a young woman with a strong build around 20 years of age. She wears her hair in two layers, a dark base including large two large buns atop her head and a short length going down her neck. Above which; lightly dyed or bleached, she keeps a plait or braid that winds around both buns, joining at a short length at the back, and bangs that frame her face. She bears pants and tank top of navy blue color with spiderweb prints, and a mark of a butterfly on the chest. This was Jolyne Kujo, the daughter of Jotaro Kujo.
"Eh?! I have to go to Canada?!" Josuke asked.
"Yeah, Dad informed me of the increase in Stand users detected in Toronto, Canada." Jolyne says. "He specifically asked for you to take the job."
"Well then if he detected the Stand users, why wouldn't he go to Canada?!" Josuke asked.
"Listen, the two of us are still tired after the events in Florida. Great grandpa Joseph is no longer up for battle, so you're the one my dad asked to investigate." Jolyne says. "The utility of your Crazy Diamond will help you there."
"Well if you were able to come to me to tell me of the situation, you should come with me to investigate!" Josuke says.
"I told you! I've taking a break from Stand duties for a while!" Jolyne yelled. "I'm still recovering from the people I've lost in Florida."
"Hmm, I see." Josuke says.
"Look, if things get difficult, you can call your friends, Koichi and Okuyasu to help you." Jolyne says. "You of all people should know how helpful they are."
"Ah, got it, so who'll cover my expenses?" Josuke says.
"The Speedwagon Foundation can help you with that." Jolyne says. "You should start packing. You might be there for months."
"Okay. I'll talk to Koichi and Okuyasu about this." Josuke says as he gets up. "Nice meeting you again!"
"You know, being my great uncle, I thought you would at least be more formal, seeing that this is a Stand situation." Jolyne says. "You have almost died to Kira multiple times before."
"Just… don't bring that up." Josuke says.
"If you say so." Jolyne smirked.
Present Day
We see Josuke entering the hotel and walking up to the counter. Grabbing his ID from his pocket.
"Excuse me, I booked a reservation a few days ago." Josuke says as he held up his ID. "From Josuke Higashikata."
"Okay, just wait for a while sir." The man at the counter says. "Ah, over here, you booked a reservation for Room 423. Here's the key." The man then grabs a key from under the counter.
"Ah thanks." Josuke says. "4th floor, right?"
"Yes, you can take the elevator to your right."
"Thank you." Josuke says.
Josuke takes the key and his suitcases. He heads for an elevator where Carrie and Devin were waiting. At the same time, Junior enters the hotel.
"Hey, Junior. Over here." Devin calls out.
"I'm coming, I'm coming." Junior says.
Junior walks into the elevator, and notices Josuke already in there.
"Oh, hey again." Junior says.
"Hey, kid. It's weird seeing you again." Josuke says.
The door closes, and they ascend up the building. After a bit of silence, Junior decides to speak up.
"So, Devin, Carrie, what was your experience of The Acceleration?" Junior asked.
"Um… well, we were on a vacation in India. The Acceleration happened at night, so we didn't notice what was happening until we saw the news." Carrie says.
"Well, I guess you guys had it easy. I wonder what happened to the rest of us." Junior says.
"You can ask the others once we arrive at the dining area." Devin says. "None of us really decided to create a group chat."
"Hmph, well then." Junior says.
The elevator then stops at the 4th floor. The door opens and the four of them walk out, with Josuke walking in another direction. Josuke walks into his room and the rest enter the new area, the party room on the 4th floor. A lot of the other contestants were already there. The people who weren't there were The Larpers and The Tennis Rivals. The thing they noticed most was that a few of the people still have some injuries.
"Hey, Devin, Carrie, Dwayne Junior!" Don was the first to meet them.
"Yo, Don. It's nice to see you again." Devin says.
"Yeah, I was wondering what happened to you guys." Don says. "You and a lot of these guys were late, and to be frank, I was worrying if The Acceleration took most of them."
"We all had that feeling, Don, no need to rub it in. The Acceleration took us by storm." Josee rolled her eyes. "But seeing as a lot of us had survived, I guess we're all lucky."
"It's a blessing for sure, time is something not even Mother Nature can control." Laurie says.
"But still, all of the analytical experts, astronomers and mathematical experts are still in confusion on how it happened." Ellody says.
"Of course you all know that The Acceleration would be theoretically impossible." Mary states.
"Of course it is, it's time literally accelerating, and we couldn't catch up to its speed." Junior says.
"But wait, where's your dad, Junior?" Don asked.
"Don't worry, he's on his way here." Junior states.
Suddenly, the group sees a silhouette on the other side of the door to the party room.
"See, he's already here." Junior smiles.
The door opens, but the group was surprised to see Josuke enter the room.
"Huh, a get-together, I see." Josuke says.
"You again?" Junior was surprised by this.
"Look, I need to tell you something, kid." Josuke says.
"No, you look buddy, you aren't supposed to be here, this place right now is occupied for Ridonculous Race contestants only." Don says.
"Oh, you were on reality TV, good for you." Josuke says sarcastically. "I just need to speak to him."
"Okay, look." Junior speaks up. "You're weirding me out following me like this, but this is something I need to attend to. So can you just take you and your weird ass hair outside for a while?"
This awakens something in Josuke, and he falls quiet for a bit. This confuses the group.
"Hello? You there?" Junior asked.
"Hey, come on. Get out now." Don says.
"What exactly is going on here?" Kitty asked.
"Let's just get left out of this. Nothing good might happen." Noah states.
"Hello?" Junior asked.
"Hey, kid…" Josuke says quietly.
Josuke looks at Junior, and gives him an enraged expression. He was also glowing a purple/pink aura.
"Um…" Junior backs down a bit.
"What did you just say about my hair?!" Josuke yelled.
Suddenly, Junior sees a large spectral arm colored pink and baby blue appearing from Josuke.
"What the?!" Junior exclaimed.
The arm swings forward and makes contact, creating a shockwave that shakes the room. Despite not seeing the arm, the pure force exerted was enough to make everyone shook.
"Listen, I won't forgive anyone who insults my hair, be it a teen like you, a cop or even the Chinese president, I won't forgive them." Josuke says.
"What are… you talking about?" Junior asked.
Everyone in the room was shocked to see that Junior had managed to withstand the blow, despite only Junior being able to see the arm. But even more shocking is the fect the Junior had defended himself with… crystals?! More specifically, a crystal shield appeared from Junior's arms to deflect the blow.
"What the?! A crystal ability?!" Josuke exclaimed.
Suddenly, Junior summons his own spectral arm and lands a powerful blow to Josuke's chest, causing him to move back a bit while coughing blood.
"How… how are they hitting each other?!" Emma says.
"And more importantly, how did he summon that crystal?!" Noah exclaimed.
"Hmph, so you do have one." Josuke says. "You are a Stand user."
"What?" Junior asked.
"But… that's a question for another time. You insulted my hair, and nobody gets away with that!" Josuke says.
"Looks like this is a fight I can't run away from. He's blinded by rage, I better do what it takes to calm him down." Junior says as he puts up a stance, and while glowing a cyan aura.
