"Come on, Goten," said a lavender haired teen, Trunks, "I bet that I can get that stuff animal for Usa-koi (love) before you can."
"You're on, Trunks," said a black haired teen, Goten, "Usa-koi is going to love ME more after I get that stuff animal."
It was a bright and sunny day that three teenagers were walking around a carnival in Satan City. When these three teenagers met in high school the first time, they never would have figured out that in the near future, the three would be in a triad. The two teens, Goten and Trunks, were fine with the arrangement. They still considered each other good friends, yet their rivalry to gain the attention with their beautiful golden-blonde haired friend-turned-girlfriend, Tsukino Usagi, went through the roof. They had a system that they would date the same girl, yet they would not let the relationship come in-between their awesome childhood friendship. Their girlfriend, Usagi, was amused by all of this as their triad relationship wasn't even broadcasted to everyone. Everyone else thought that the three were very, very good friends that hung out with one another. She could remember how this relationship started…
- Flashback –
"Will you go out with me," asked Goten and Trunks together.
It was the afternoon as Usagi was relaxing after another school day at the park. She really didn't want to go to the Hikawa Shrine where the other girls were going to hound her about breaking up with Mamoru. She couldn't fathom why the Inners would tell her to get back together with Mamoru when she and Mamoru both mutually broke up but stayed friends. Now, Mamoru was considered one of her onīsan (older brother), just after Motoki-nī. The girls, however, never realized that fact and thought she was the one who broke up with him. Lost in sad thoughts, Usagi never realized that two of her classmates came up to her until the both asked her out. "Eh," questioned Usagi as she blinked rapidly.
"Come on, Goten," said Trunks, "I asked her first! So, Usa should date me!"
"Yada (No way)," said Goten, "I saw her first in our class with Hidoka-sensei (teacher)!"
"So," said Trunks with a quirk of an eye, "I saw her at the entrance at the beginning of the school year!"
"Ano (Um)," said Usagi.
"Hai," said the two together before glaring at each other.
"Are you two asking me out or arguing about who won me," asked Usagi with a raised eyebrow and crossed arms.
"Asking you out," questioned Goten cutely.
"Though, I asked you first, ne (right), Usa-chan," questioned Trunks.
"And I said that I did," growled Goten.
Usagi watched as the two argued again, she couldn't help but giggle at the situation she was in. Just beforehand, she was thinking about her past relationship and how the girls were trying to get her back together with Mamoru, and now… Usagi couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Goten and Trunks paused on their argument as they turned to stare at Usagi. Both had a bit of hurt in their eyes, yet Usagi was trying to control her laughter. "Gomen, gomen (sorry)," said Usagi, "Demo, this situation is quite hilarious."
"Is it," questioned Trunks.
"Un," nodded Usagi, "I was just over here thinking about my past relationship when you two came out of nowhere and asked me out."
"That does seem a bit funny," said Goten.
"Though," said Usagi, "Are you two absolutely sure that you want me as your girlfriend?"
Trunks and Goten blinked before nodding their heads rapidly. No matter who got the girl, Goten and Trunks wouldn't let that get into their friendship. That was a fact. Usagi, on her part, bit her lip. She shouldn't really drag the two into her mess, especially when a new enemy popped up for her and her fellow Senshi. Yet, she couldn't help but be drawn to the two. She guessed that she should tell the two her secret so that the two can think on the matter. If they wanted to date her afterwards, then she guessed she could try to date the both. After all, she needed all the bonds she could get with the Ginzuishō draining her life force every time it was in use. She bet that the more soul bonds she has, the better chance she will survive. "Before I agree," said Usagi, "There is something you two should know about me."
"Huh," questioned Goten, "Agree to what?"
"To try and date you both, of course," said Usagi.
"Eh," exclaimed the two boys.
"Now, shush," said Usagi who ignored their surprised looks, "This is hard for me to tell as is."
Goten and Trunks kept their mouths shut just as Usagi revealed her secret. She told them about fighting evil aliens that had magical powers as Sailor Moon Goten looked excited as Trunks contemplated on what his father would think. They couldn't believe that before them was a reincarnated Princess and warrior. They listened as Usagi told them that there was a new evil for the Sailor Senshi and that she wouldn't want to drag them into the mess, yet she also explained just WHY she would date the both of them. She didn't hide anything from the two, especially when explaining that having two people to help her energy-wise would immensely raise her survival rate. "So," said Usagi, "Still want to date me?"
"Of course," said Trunks with a smirk, "Evil aliens to fight? It can be a competition, ne, Goten?"
"Yup," said Goten with an easy grin, "Besides, it's no different than what we have been through."
"Eh," questioned Usagi.
With that, Goten and Trunks, in turn, told Usagi THEIR story…
- End Flashback –
'Still can't believe they BOTH want to stay with me after everything,' thought Usagi.
"Penny for your thoughts, Usa," questioned Goten.
"Just thinking about how we became a triad," said Usagi.
"Yeah," said Trunks, "Can't believe it worked out for all three of us. Anyways hands a stuff animal to Usagi here! I won the stuff animal before Goten."
Usagi giggled as she kissed Trunks on the cheek first before giving one to Goten. She knew that whoever won got a kiss on their cheek first before the other one did. It made it so that the other guy wouldn't be put out for not receiving anything from their girlfriend. All three then began to trek more into the carnival before a blue-haired woman came running towards the three, screaming Trunks and Goten at the top of her lungs. Trunks turned to see his mother, Bulma, running towards them before face-palming. He can't believe his mom was embarrassing him, especially in front of Usagi. "I finally found you two," said Bulma who was out of breath.
"I told you that Goten, Usagi, and I were hanging out at the carnival, kāsan (mom)," said Trunks.
"Ah," said Bulma, "Demo, I need you and Goten for something."
"For what," questioned Goten.
"We need some fighters to fight some evil guys," said Bulma, "The usual."
"Alright," sighed Trunks before turning to Usagi, "We'll see you afterwards."
"If you guys need help, use the communicator," said Usagi.
"We promise," said Goten before Trunks disagreed with Usagi, sparking an argument between the two.
Usagi frowned as Goten and Trunks followed Bulma out of the carnival and towards the transportation. She really hoped that the two will be fine just before her communicator rang. Running to hide, Usagi finally found a hiding spot before… "Moon here."
"Youma at Central Park. The usual."
"On my way."
- Within The Red Ribbon Army: Cell Max –
"Hey, Goten," said Trunks, "Let's fuse! We can use the Fusion!"
"Shouldn't we call her," questioned Goten.
It was a very hard battle with a new and improved version of the android Cell coming out. They all used their powerful attacks, yet nothing happened. Even when Piccolo had a direct sight to hit Cell on his weak point, his head, not a scratch! So, when Trunks suggested Fusion, Goten just HAD to remind them about their girlfriend and her powers. Trunks groaned as he thought about the promise Goten inadvertently made with Usagi. He really didn't want Usagi to be in this mess, but Goten just HAD to promise her. Maybe they would need some magical powers, but Trunks was hesitant about it. Yet, he knew that Goten made that promise because without it, Usagi would refuse the two to go. She had enough heartbreak when the Senshi went against the newest enemy, only to be revived by Usagi, Goten and Trunks lending their powers to her. Sighing, Trunks nodded his head to Goten before landing onto the ground. Goten followed suit just having a quick word with their mutual girlfriend. "Trunks," said Goten, "I'm not sure I remember how to do Fusion."
"Well, we're going to try," said Trunks.
"Ryōkai (Got it)," said Goten as he got into position.
"Fu…Sion… Ha," called out Goten and Trunks.
As they called out the attack, the two did a ridiculous dance before their index fingers connected. Everyone paused as light shone between the two. The fusion, however, resulted in being incorrect between the two. Instead of a fit Gotenks between Goten and Trunks, everyone saw a fat Gotenks emerge. Now, as Gotenks, the dual voices of Goten and Trunks sounded quite embarrassing. "I… I blew it," said Gotenks to himself, "So, not going to show this to Usa-koi."
"Who is Usa-koi," questioned Gohan.
"Not now," said Piccolo, "Cell Max is coming again."
"Tch," sounded Gotenks, "Guess I'll just have to make do!"
With that, Gotenks tried to become a Super Saiyajin, yet that didn't work. Gotenks tched again before just charging at Cell Max. Cell Max hit Gotenks towards Android 18 before becoming a beach ball. Android 18 hit Gotenks towards the newest Android before being hit towards the other newest one. That last hit resulted in Gotenks literally using his head and hitting Cell Max on his head, making a crack at the weak point. That resulted in Piccolo commenting about the use of the fat Gotenks before another type of energy hit Cell Max where the crack was, making more cracks along the head. Everyone tensed at that unknown attack before turning around to see a girl wearing a very short multi-layered skirt, a white bodice-like sailor top, a set of large white angel wings on her back, and golden crescent moon on her forehead. "Dare (Who)," questioned Android 18.
"Sailor Moon," said Gotenks.
"Do… I want to know who you are," questioned Moon.
"Uh, I'm Gotenks," said Gotenks.
"They are the failed fusion between Goten and Trunks," informed Gohan.
"Gah," yelped out Gotenks, "Don't tell her that, Gohan!"
"Quiet," said Piccolo, "We can talk after Cell Max is gone."
Everyone nodded their heads as they began to attack once more. Sailor Moon stayed close to Gotenks as she sent out her magical attack at the monster. She knew that she should transform into her Princess form, yet she also knew that she would not survive in that form, even if Goten and Trunks were with her. She didn't know how, but she could just tell. Sending another blast with Gotenks somewhat protecting her, the monster went backwards. She was surprised to see the green guy, a Namekian named Piccolo her mind supplied for her, grew in height. He was now the same size as this Cell Max. It was a long battle, yet before the last attack, Cell Max swept them away with his massive tail and hands. Sailor Moon winced as she tried to shield Gotenks from the tail but was turned in the last moment for Gotenks to protect her. Then, the battle was over in a couple of minutes. Gohan tapped into his hidden potential and defeated the monster before all of them ran away from the explosion. After the explosion, Sailor Moon looked on before turning towards Gotenks who split into her two boyfriends. "So," said Moon, "Fusion, huh?"
"Ehehehe," laughed Goten nervously, "I forgot we could do that."
"Did that mean I could have kissed both of you together as Gotenks," asked Moon with a raised eyebrow.
"I rather not share your kisses with Goten, even if we are fused," said Trunks.
"Same here," said Goten.
"Boo~," booed Moon, "Not even the Gotenks I fought with?"
"You LIKE us unfit like that," questioned an incredulous Trunks.
"At least, you don't turn into an old man," said Sailor Moon with a shrug.
"Uh, about that," said Goten.
As the three were conversing together, the others were watching them interact with one another. Gohan raised an eyebrow at the three. With his Saiyajin hearing, he could hear the bizarre conversation between the person that his little brother and Trunks were conversing with. He didn't know what this was about kissing, but he was going to find out. With that in mind, Gohan walked towards the three just as he saw Sailor Moon with a contemplative look on her face. He did start to laugh as Sailor Moon commented on the two not getting to see her for a long while if they turned into an old man in front of her. "Oh, come on," whined Trunks, "We haven't practiced Fusion in a long time!"
"Yeah, Moon," said Goten, "I bet you would drool when we, as Gotenks, is fit as a fiddle!"
"Like what you two did when you saw me in this get up the first time," asked Moon with a raised eyebrow.
"Hey," said Trunks with a shrug, "You looked and still look hot in your get-up."
"Besides that," said Goten, "We're both in love with you."
"Aww~," said Moon with a smile, "I love you two too."
"Love," choked out Gohan.
Goten paled when he heard Gohan behind the three. Turning around slowly, Goten couldn't help but laugh inwardly at the gob-smacked face Gohan was showing towards the three. Trunks gulped as he looked around to see his mom being busy with the Android and his creator. He did NOT want his mom to know about his relationship between Goten and Sailor Moon. Gohan looked between Goten to Sailor Moon to Trunks and back to Goten before crossing his arms. Sailor Moon bit her inner lip as she contemplated in showing Gohan who she really is while Goten started to explain by spitting out a question. "D-Do you believe that Trunks and I are d-dating the same girl," questioned Goten.
"I… kind of gathered when you, Trunks, and the new fighter were talking," said Gohan.
"Well, we are," said Trunks before turning to Sailor Moon, "And speaking of fighting, how did you get here so fast?"
"Pluto," said Sailor Moon.
"Good," said Goten, "Wouldn't want you to use the Ginzuishō."
"Like you two are to talk," said Moon.
"We're really, REALLY sorry for not telling you about Fusion, Moon," said Goten and Trunks.
"Fine," said Moon before turning to Gohan, "My heroine name is Sailor Moon. I was happy to help out, despite not fighting that well."
"I'm sure that these two will train you up," said Gohan with a smile, "Thank you for helping out."
"Uh, Gohan," piped up Goten.
As Sailor Moon and Gohan shook hands, Goten piped up to get Gohan's attention. Gohan turned to his little brother to see him being a bit nervous. He could probably tell just why Goten was being nervous. If it wasn't enough that Trunks and Goten were dating the same girl, Gohan would bet his research that Goten and Trunks never told their parents about this development. He could also tell that Goten wasn't ready for their mom to know he was dating the same girl as Trunks. "Let me guess," said Gohan, "Don't tell mom?"
"Īe," said Goten who shook his head vehemently.
"And no to telling mine," said Trunks, "I do NOT want mom to scare Moon away."
"Same here," said Goten, "Mom is scary enough. She's probably not going to like that a girl is dating Trunks and me when it is mutual."
"Gotcha," said Gohan, "No worries. I won't tell."
"Arigatō," said the three together.
Just as Bulma decided to come over, Sailor Moon's communicator started to beep around her wrist. Sailor Moon sighed outwardly as she gave a look to Goten and Trunks. Gohan, as he heard the beeping, looked at the three in confusion. He could tell that Goten and Trunks were ready to fight once more, but there weren't any new enemies… were there? Gohan, Goten, and Trunks all crowded Sailor Moon's communicator before… "Moon here," said Moon.
"Sailor Moon, are your boyfriends alright," questioned a female voice.
"Hai," said Trunks, "We're fine."
"Good," said another female before… "Then, if you are done, get your butts here so we can finally confront Queen Nehelenia!"
"Mars," said another, "You don't have to yell into the communicator.
"Demo, we were about to go into the Dead Moon Circus to finally get rid of our enemy until Moon's knuckleheaded boyfriends paged her," exclaimed Mars.
"We'll be there," said Moon.
"Finally," said an exasperated female, "Yet, on another note…"
"Nani," questioned Goten.
"The Outers are here too," said another, "Best look out for Uranus, you two."
Goten and Trunks nodded their heads over the communicator before Sailor Moon turned it off. Gohan jumped, though, when a black portal opened up in front of them. Goten told Gohan not to worry about this other enemy. Gohan was about to ask if they needed help, yet Goten was quick to tell Gohan to tell their mom he would be back for dinner. With that, Gohan could only watch as Sailor Moon, Trunks, and Goten quickly went into the black portal before it disappeared behind Goten's back. "What just happened," muttered Gohan.
"Gohan," questioned Bulma as she came towards him, "Where's Trunks? And Goten?"
"And the mysterious fighter," questioned Piccolo.
"Uh, I don't know what's going on," said Gohan, "Demo…"
"Demo," prompted Android 18.
"They said they would be back for dinner?"
