In a dark facility, with no light illuminating the metallic architecture, a group of robots ran down a dark hallway. Their round, egg shaped bodies, bobbled with each step they took. All tinted in an orange and yellow color pallet, with their faces having a permeant light blue grin. Each carrying firearms with a similar color scheme.
They soon stomped over more of the same robots, that laid scattered on the floor. Their shells punctured with small holes, some still short circuiting, some piled over others.
As they approached a corner ahead, gunshots could be heard at a distance, echoing through the hall. Flashes of light illuminate the corner, casting shadows over the same robots, all being shot down by this threat.
Reaching the corner, some leaped and rolled to lay on the ground, some stood and took cover behind barrels, all pointing at a white light, that seemed to bounce up and down, as if it was marching. With their night vision, its revealed to be a bipedal mech, with an engine on the bottom.
*BAM BAM BAM
The soldiers open fire, blasting to take down the assailant, but-
*DAKADAKADAKA
Small projectiles came upon them, blasting the robots, piercing through their shells, until their systems could no longer support them.
The back line tried to stand their ground, but the assailant had fired a few rockets from its backside, and headed straight towards the machines.
*BOOM
Bodies of scrap and metal went flying, crashing into the ground.
From the smoke, the light from the mech came through, marching through the hall. On that vehicle … sits a two tailed fox, with amber fur. He talked on to a radio.
*Click
– TL: Are there any more flickys? Over.
*Static
A soft voice comes over from his device.
The rider takes his mech over the corpses of the eggbots, turning the corner, looking around his vicinity.
* Click
– TL: I haven't found him yet. I'm still-
A robot body suddenly moves, revealing a hidden eggpawn. But just as it takes its weapon, the fox shoots down the machine, wrecking the head of the robot, limping its body.
* Click
– TL: …breaking eggbots. Over
*Static
He continues his search
* Click
– TL: You don't have to, I just need to find him and snatch him. Over
* Static
* Click
– TL: I think its clear, but I haven't found Eggman, or his goons. You might find them on your way. Over
* Static
* Click
– TL: You could crawl through the vents, they don't check there. Over
* Static!
* Click
– TL: Come on, a little dust isn't going to hurt you, maybe you could catch them off guard. Over
The fox comes upon a large metallic door, with a control panel by its side.
* Static!
* Click
– TL: Then just sit back and wait for me. Over
* Static
The fox chuckles
* Click
– TL: Just keep your tracker on and you'll find me.
He shoots a control panel, breaking the machine and forcing the door to slide open.
The room was dark, appearing to be an empty void. Grabbing a small metallic sphere from his back, he pushes a button, and rolls the gadget down the room, beeping its way in the room, illuminating the metallic room with a red light, appearing to be empty.
Soon, the orb hits an object, and before turning off, revealed a glass container, where a small creature sat. His body appeared similar to a stuffed animal. His head had the shape of a water droplet, with a small orb dangling on top of it.
This surprised the fox, who made a smile, as he saw his gadget die out. He picks up his radio and whispers.
* Click
– TL: Hey, guess who I found!
* Static!
He hears a excited response. He chuckles, turning on his flashlight.
* Click
– TL: Yup! So hurry up and we'll all leave together. Over and out!
The mech begins to stomp towards the figure, creating an echo that could be heard around the room. He stops by the glass on his side, and lowers the vehicle to reach the controls.
– TL: Hey Cheese how you holding up?
On the control pad, he presses a button and opens the glass container. Just as he's reaching for the captive:
– ? ?: I'm pretty good…
The fox was startled, hearing an unexpected voice
The chao turns to the fox, revealing small, round, yellow eyes, and a mischievous grin
– ? ?: …how about you?
– TL: W-what the?! Bokkun!
A light from the ceiling turns on, illuminating the small robot
– BK: Shock ya didn't I? Some smarty pants you are, you couldn't even think of the classic disguise trick!
The small robot stood up, and grew a bit taller, ripping the outfit into pieces, revealing his round black body, the belt with a yellow letter M in the middle, and his red boots. The head that was round and protruded two horns.
In the mean time the fox reverses his mech and drives back to the entrance. But just as he's about to exit, the metallic door slams shut. He could barely stop just before he crashes into it.
He turns back to the robot, who strikes a pose, looking up to the celling
– BK: AWAKEN, MY HENCHMEN!
*CLANG CLANG
There was a sound of heavy metal objects, crashing down to the dark room, coming from the small robot's direction.
Tails takes evasive movement, driving his mech around the room. Taking aim at the little robot, a robotic voice spoke:
– ? ?: Oh no you don't!
Suddenly, burning rubber could be heard, and from the front, two shadowy figures charge at him:
*BAM
They ram into the cyclone, pining it to the wall, making the fox recoil his head from the crash, and when he recovers, he felt a cold metallic hand grab him by his tails, pulling him up high, away from his mech.
– TL: Hey!
– ? ?: Not so tough without that mech!
He could hear wheels burn, then two lights appeared beside Bokkun. And from the dark, two robots rolled under the spot lights.
It appears that those robots used mechs as well, one was tall, round body, a long glass container for a head, and black legs with wheels. The other had a gray, egg shaped body, with the top part being glass, on the bottom, it had rotatable wheels directly attached to the body. It was Bocoe and Decoe.
Then, one final spotlight appeared on the opposite end of the room. The two robots, with their mechs strike a pose, pointing at new light:
– DE & BO: Dr. Eggman's science, is the WOOORLDS GREATEST!
And from the light, descends a small hovering craft, with a black sphere on its underside, slowly spinning clock wise. On that vehicle, sat an Egg shaped man. His laughs echoes across the room, and his ride stops just as its directed to the fox.
– ? ?: Foiled again by the old bait and switch.
Tails was pulled towards the man, as he grew closer, he saw a tall, fat man, in a red coat, wearing blue tinted glasses and goggles that tried to hide his bald head, finishing of with a lengthy, burly mustache. He stop before he was exposed by the light.
Suddenly another light flashed towards the fox, he tries to shield his eyes to catch a better view.
– EG: I expected better from y-
Their was a moment of silence, the robot henchmen looked backed and forward from the fox to the scientist. Tails managed to adjust his hand to see the man pointing at him.
– EG: YOU!?
The scientist laughs, holding on to his stomach, arching his back
– EG: Out of all the imbeciles, YOU fell for THIS trick!?
He continues to laughs, with his henchmen making their own glee, making the fox growl
– EG: I guess that head of yours isn't as great as it you think fox boy!
– EG: Or should I say…
He goes in with his hand, and harshly nips the fox's cheek, pulling it side to side.
– EG: Pixel-Brain.
Tails attempts to bite the doctors fingers, but he manages to pull back in time, and waves his finger at the fox
– EG: Ah, ah, ah!
– TL: Put a sock in it Eggman! You don't scare me!
– EG: Big mouth for a cub. But you're not the main prize.
Then the area was completely illuminated, they were in an empty circular room, with only a crane from the ceiling holding the fox and a small vent. The mad man looks around:
– EG: So where is that pesky hedgehog?
– TL: Sonic isn't here! You're dealing with me now!
– EG: Don't fool yourself!
He turns to his henchmen:
– EG: Where is he!?
– BO: He really isn't here Doctor, none of the cameras showed anyone but him.
– DE: Not even the Eggpawns could find him.
The Eggman rests his head on his hand, with the other tapping his pod. He then shifts his weight, and presses a button.
– EG: sigh* I guess you'll have to do.
A crane protrudes out of his pod and takes the fox, now dangling from the new cuff. The madman begins to fly his pod down, he snaps his fingers, and the ground begins to move. Bocoe and Decoe try to maintain the balance of their mechs, while Bokkun flew up to the air, laughing at their turmoil. Machines begin to emerge, with various flickering lights.
– EG: Listen up pipskeak! Do you know what's the composition of a chao?
– TL: Why not read a book about it!
– EG: Of course not. Have you even tried dissecting one?!
While the doctor took his eyes off the fox, Tails inspected the crane that held him. He began to reach to it.
– EG: They're tough little buggers, not even compact steel can pierce their bodies! And your little friend is quite sturdy, breaking apart my machines.
Inching close, the fox managed to grab on the crane, and attempted to shake it.
– EG: So while I was pondering on the next invention, I wondered. If I could harness their power…what kind of travesty would that entail.
They reach the ground floor, positioning on the edge of the room. Once they could stand straight, the henchmen group up to monitor the machines and begin to operate the computers.
Tails, seeing no progress in his escape, proceeds to ready his hand, making a fist and leans back.
– EG: And that's what were here to find out!
*Bam
A sudden clash came behind the doctor, looking back
*Bam
The small fox was trying to dent the crane.
*Bam
– TL: Ow…
He waved his aching hand, trying to lessen the pain.
– EG: Have you finished your tantrum?
– TL: I'm not giving up!
– EG: Good! Then let's begin.
The doctor snaps his fingers, making Bocoe flick a switch. From the center of the room, rose a glass container, where a small chao with a bowtie shook in fear.
– TL: Cheese!
– CE: *scared chao cry*
– TL: It's going to be ok!
– EG: And that's not all!
A hole opens in the middle of the celling, they could hear gears turning above them, and a metallic plate sliding open. Eggman turns and points up to towards the celling.
– EG: Behold!
A large crane descends, with what appeared to be a metallic helmet, with wires sticking out, spiraling around it, and a small lightbulb on the side:
– TL: You're going to brainwash Cheese?!
– EG: That's right! With this device, I'll be able to command all those pesky little marshmallows. A legion of super soldiers, all under my command! And with their indomitable strength I'LL CONQUE THE WORLD! MUAHAHAHAHA!
Suddenly a small rabbit ran up and leaped towards the glass pod.
– ? ?: HIYA!
*CRASH
She kicks the glass, shattering it to bits and freeing the small creature, landing on the platform.
– EG: What?!
– TL: Cream!
She picks up her friend, and turns to the scientist with a pout.
– CR: Eggman, you're a bad man! Let go of Tails!
– EG: Oh I should have known you'd be snooping as usual!
– BO: Not so fast little girl!
Bocoe and Decoe burn their tires and charge at the mobian.
She dodges making the duo crash into the stand, staging their mechs.
– DE: Oops…
The rabbit leans back, aiming her chao for an assault. The doctor notices his predicament and tries to evade but-
*CRASH
The Eggpod is slammed into the wall behind him, bouncing down to the floor.
This forces the crane to let go of the fox, who drops spiraling down to the ground, landing face up.
Cream rushes towards him, helping him get back up.
– CR: Sorry, are you ok?
– TL: I'll be better when we leave, thanks for the save.
– CR: Anytime.
The Eggman falls off his vehicle, he could hear a little black gremlin laughing at him.
He flings his arm, pointing at the rugrats.
– EG: Get them!
The rabbit points her finger at the robots.
– CR: Cheese, cover us!
The chao flies up, screeching the warcry of his people
Decoe ducks down intto his pod
– DE: Oh no, not again!
*BAM
The chao slams himself against the robot, knocking him up to the wall and staggering him. He turns to his next target, making Becoe run away in fear from the pursuing chao.
– TL: Now lets get out of here!
Tails grabs Cream by the hand and leads her towards his mech. But then, from their top left
*ZAP
A lazer blast nearly hits them. Turning to the direction of the source, was a Bokkun
– BK: Not so fast, you still gotta get past me.
The robot aims his blaster again, Tails points at the stand of the room:
– TL: Cream, grab my gadget!
– CR: Gadget?
*ZAP
The two spit, Cream heading to the center of the room, while Tails takes flight with his helicopter tails. He waves at his assailant:
– TL: Hey dummy!
Grabbing his attention, Tails pulls his lower eyelid and stick his tongue out.
– BK: Hey! That's my job!
The imp takes his gun
*ZAP
But the fox doges, swooping around in the air, while the robots keeps blasting his rifle.
Bokkun takes another aim at the fox, and-
*BAM
A metallic ball had knocked his blaster off his hands, crashing into the ground and shattering it.
Looking at his toy break, the little imp begins to feel his eyes watering, until he burst into tears.
– BK: WAH! Now what am I going to shoot you with?!
The two kids now race towards the mech, and jump on the seats. Tails turns to the main door and fires a rocket at it, blasting a whole for them to escape. Then he transforms it to a race car, and Cream turns to the chao, who had cornered two mechs on the other side of the room.
– CR: Cheese!
Hearing his friend's call, the chao flew back and huddled into to her arms.
Tails slams the pedal and the vehicle begins to speed off. With a tight drift, they exit through the hole in the door, waving goodbye with a merry smile on their faces.
– TL: Later Eggman!
– CR: Please don't be mean, again!
As the vehicle leaves the room, the mad doctor turns to see his henchmen. The imp was crying for his deceased lazer gun, while the other two had their mechs dented and dazed at a corner.
– EG: What are you two doing?! After them!
The two robots got their mechs up, and rammed straight through the metallic door
– DE: Right away sir!
The Eggman gets his pod back up, and rides up to the ceiling, where a shutter door opens. He exits the room through that door, leaving the sad imp alone.

In the dark hallway, two children drove their way through a decrypted hallway, dodging the metallic corpses.
But as it all seems well, the rabbit began to twitch her ears up and down. Looking around, there wasn't anything evident to say what it was. But it was getting louder and louder, until she noticed it loud and clear as she faced forward. Turning her body to the opposite direction, she found a a large metallic object following them, with fire and smoke spewing out from behind.
She turns to anxiously to nudge the fox.
– CR: Um…T-tails!
The fox, not daring to take his eyes of the road.
– TL: What's up?
– CR: I think those mean robots are following us!
He turns around, and noticed a missile following their path, with the two robots riding their mechs not so behind.
– Bo: You're not getting away this time!
The two robots aimed there mech arms at the vehicle, each fired another missile, tracking the movements of the mech.
– TL: Hang on!
Tails tries to dash and weave, trying to get the rockets to go off course. With one hand, Cream held on to Cheese, pressing it against her, while she held on to Tails' seat with the other. They approached a corner, the fox did a sharp turn, nearly smashing the vehicle against a wall. Only for the rockets to do the same, remaining untouched, getting closer to the ride.
– CR: Isn't there a way to shake them off?!
– TL: I'm trying!
– CR: Why do they follow us?!
– TL: Depends, but they tend to have a radar that follow what's in front!
Then, the fox's eyes grew large, with an idea.
– TL: Wait a minute! If they had something track instead, we could lure them away and send them back at Bocoe and Decoe!
– CR: But how?
As the two ponder on the idea, the Chao began to wiggle his way out of the rabbit's hands, until it popped out.
– CR: Cheese wait!
– TL: Huh?
The small chao bounced off the ride and flew by the side of the fox.
– CR: What are you doing?!
He turned to his friends and cried in reassurance.
– TL: What did he say?
– CR: To trust him…
Cheese began to slow down, allowing himself to close in on the missile.
– CR: Be careful!
The chao flew up to an even sight of the missiles, he began to fly crossed, testing the missiles. Then the rockets began to follow the chao.
A smile grew on the critter, then suddenly he turned back, making the rockets follow him back. The henchmen noticed the rockets coming back towards them.
– BO: Oh no! Turn back! Turn back!
They tried halting their momentum, but the chao zoomed past them and-
*BOOM
A force vibrated the air, creating a strong push on Tails' mech. He stopped the vehicle, for the duo to see the result of the impact.
The only things left of the mechs that pursued them where mangled body parts, screws and wires sticking out of exposed circuitry, being used as fuel for a fire that brightened the area.
– CR: Cheese!
The two looked on waiting for an answer, and from the flame of the crash, came a blob flying back to them .
– CH: *Chao cheers*
The duo cheered, as the small creature nestled on the arms of the rabbit.
– CR: Cheese, thank Chaos you're safe!
– TL: Let's get out of here.
The team speeds off to the exit, seeing the light of the end of the hallway, they could barely see a jungle. Just as soon as they escape through the opening,
*BAM
*ZAP
The vehicle is sent spiraling out of control, grinding the wheels on the grass, plowing through rocks and dirt. Tails holds on to the steering wheel, while Cream holds her chao tightly, everyone screaming from the sudden blast they sustained.
After a bit, they realized the vehicle came to a halt next to a river.
– TL: Are you ok?
– CR: Yeah…
Cheese makes a reassuring squeak, as much as his wobbly head could make. They try to shake their dizziness away, and-
– EG: MUAHAHAHAHA!
– CR: Ah!
A crane had managed to pull the rabbit away from the mech.
– TL: Cream!
She was pulled towards an egg shaped hover craft. It was Eggman. He quickly made some distance between him and the fox. Reacting to this, Cheese took flight and was about to zoom into the doctor.
– EG: Oh no, you don't!
The madman had taken a blaster for himself, and pressed it on to the rabbit's head, who begins to tremble from her situation.
Cheese immediately stops in his place, with the fox being just as stunned of the madman.
– EG: Any closer, and the girl gets it!
The chao, with a defeated look, slowly flew back to the fox. With his free hand, the doctor pointed towards the fox.
EG: You're coming with me too, and we'll see what wonder is to be found in the little gerbil.
Tails could only look down in shame, hitting the steering wheel of his ride.
– TL: Shoot.
– EG: Come along now, with both of you here, I won't have much ti-
*BAM
The doctor's head was squished in an instant, dropping his weapon. He fell down, from his mech paralyzed from the pain.
– ? ?: It's not nice to bully my friends.
Cream turns to the stranger who saved them, only to see a big, purple cat with a yellow fishing pole.
– CR: Mr. Big!
– TL: Big?
While Tails gets off his ride, the cat walks up to his restrained friend.
– BG: Hi Cream.
With a pinch, he snaps the crane in too, freeing the rabbit. She lands down and turns to the cat.
– CR: What are you doing here?
– BG: Fishing.
Tails catches up, standing next to the rabbit.
TL: Fishing?
Big picks up a basket with a green frog in it.
*Ribbit
– BG: Bye Cream.
Big turns around and leaves.
Cream waves at him
– CR: So long Mr. Big! Thank you for saving us!
They look at him walking away, heading to the jungle. The fox scratches his head.
– TL: Does he do that often?
– CR: What often?
– TL: Coming out of nowhere.
– CR: Yeah, he does.
They look upon the cat and his frog, disappearing into the shadows.
– TL: Well let's get you back home.
The two walk towards the race car.
– CR: Thank you saving Cheese, again.
– TL: I'll always be there to help.
Reaching the mech, Tails helps Cream up to her seat with Cheese, gently holding her hand up.
– CR: How are you doing Cheese?
The chao affirmed his well being
Tails gets on the mech, reaching under the wheel, trying to reignite the engine.
– TL: What did he say?
– CR: He's said he's fine.
The machine starts, making a loud roar .
– TL: We really need to do something about him kidnaping you Cheese.
The chao cries in agreement.
– CR: How about a tracker? Like the one you gave me?
The fox looks back to her
– TL: Yeah, I could attach it to the bowtie.
But the chao objected, with a yelp and shaking of it's head
– CR: Cheese says they could just remove it.
– TL: Mmm…how about I make some turrets around the house
The chao spoke out
– CR: Mom probably wouldn't like it, and the noise might bother the neighbor's.
– TL: Uh…any other ideas?
They sat quite for a bit, looking a one another. Cheese shook his head, while Cream tilted her head down in shame.
– CR: Sorry.
– TL: Well, lets just keep an eye if something happens again.
Tails turns back to the wheel.
– CR: We can do that!
– TL: Let's get back home.
The rabbit and chao cheered, as the mech drove it's way towards their destination.

This story was long over due, the general plot was given to me by Dwayne-Tails-Junior, I think I kept the original plot well enough. I had fun writing it, Tails, Cream, Eggman, even with those robots.
I think it's going to be shorter, at least compared to my main story. So comeback later, or better yet, tell me what do you think of it.
