Age Of War
They say that all good things must come to an end. Gohan never really understood that. For as long as he can remember things had been relatively peaceful. But that all changed when his supposed uncle dropped from the sky, hurt his dad and kidnapped him. Now Gohan was feeling true fear, the fear of dying. This was different from when a tiger would try to attack him; this was a nightmare that became reality.
He was trapped in a space pod for a few hours now and his throat hurt from all the wailing. His uncle was resting upon a rock for a while before he stood up and turned his gaze towards the sky. Gohan followed the older man's line of sight and could barely make out two dots that appeared to be getting bigger. His vision was also hindered due to the tainted glass of the space pod. He tried to lean forward but fell down. Luckily the space pod had enough room to stand for him, so pushed with his hand and gazed out.
A smile made its way to his face when he saw two figures land in the grassy meadow they were in. Although he didn't know who the green man was but he definitely recognized his father. He called out for his father while banging his hand on the glass. it seemed the pod was sound proof as his dad didn't acknowledge him. Rather he was talking with the man who kidnapped him.
His father took off the blue shirt he was wearing along with his wrist bands and boots. He saw the green man taking off his cape and turban. Both of them slipped into their respective stances. Gohan gulped and watched as the fight began.

Raditz watched with disgust as his brother landed in front of him. He also brought the Namekian with him. Raditz locked eyes with the traitor and glared hard at him, "So Kakarot, you finally decided to show up. And you brought the slug as well." Raditz sneered at his brother. "Tell me, have you decided to join us in our conquest?"
Goku took a step forward and glared at Raditz, "You know why I'm here!" Goku snarled. "Give me back my son!" Raditz smirked evilly as he crossed his arms. He knew he would have to fight these two nuisances and he wasn't worried in the slightest. He was stronger than both of them combined.
"I'm going to give you one last chance little brother, reconsider my offer and I might just spare your son."
"I would never join you heartless monsters!" Goku screamed, "I'd rather die!"
"Hmph, then prepare yourself Kakarot, I promise it's going to hurt." Raditz retorted.
Goku removed his weighted clothing and noticed Piccolo doing the same. Goku raised an eyebrow at this and turned his attention towards his rival. "I didn't know you wore weighted clothes too Piccolo," Goku said to which Piccolo simply grunted and got into a stance.
"Focus on the fight you fool and we might have a chance to beat this bastard." Piccolo sneered at Goku. "Hearing your voice makes me want to turn you inside out."
"Cold as always, eh Piccolo." Goku replied before getting into a stance as well.
Without warning the two launched towards Raditz. Goku reached him first and cocked back a fist, he went for a haymaker but missed. Piccolo did the same and he was met with a roundhouse kick. The Namekian didn't have time to recover as Raditz appeared behind him. The evil mercenary kneed Piccolo in the back which sent him towards the sky. Raditz appeared up in the sky with his superior speed and hammered Piccolo down to the ground before sending a powerful blast his way.
Goku attacked Raditz again only to miss him once more but this time Raditz punched Goku in the face and followed with a relentless barrage of punches and kicks. The younger brother was dazed and in too much pain to block the elbow to his head and was launched uncontrollably to the ground creating a crater in the process.
Piccolo barely dodged the ki blast Raditz sent his way. He recovered from the earlier assault and looked over to Goku who was also on the ground. Piccolo launched himself from the ground followed by Goku.
The duo started attacking Raditz once more but Raditz was skillfully dodging all their strikes. Piccolo tried to punch Raditz who ducked and landed a heavy punch to Piccolo's gut. Piccolo doubled over and staggered back. Raditz spun around and kicked Goku on his face which sent him flying.
Piccolo recovered from the last strike and blasted Raditz at point blank range. The attack hit Raditz and exploded. Smoke filled the air as the blast died out. Piccolo caught his breath but a fist emerged from the smoke that hit him on the nose. Raditz came out of the smoke and kneed Piccolo in the stomach, followed by three punches to his face.
Goku caught himself midair and shook his head. He few towards Raditz and threw a punch which Raditz caught. Raditz pulled Goku towards him and turned around. He used his second hand to grip Goku's arm and flung him over his shoulder. Goku was launched down at a great speed and hit the grassy terrain. A gasp escaped his mouth as felt his body hit the ground. Raditz flew down towards Goku and landed on top of him with a mighty force. Goku felt his ribs breaking from the pressure being applied to his chest by Raditz. He screamed in pain as the ground beneath them broke.
Raditz jumped up into the air and landed back on Goku's chest, emitting another unearthly scream from Goku. Raditz started laughing and repeated the motion again and again.
Piccolo stared at the brutality and balled his fists. With a battle cry he took to the scene. Piccolo managed to catch Raditz off guard and landed a kick on his face. The evil Saiyan was knocked off of Goku's chest by the force. He turned towards the attacker and smirked.
"You are getting quite annoying." Raditz stated. "I think it's time I end this little charade."
Raditz flew up towards the sky and stretched his arms. He began gathering energy for an attack. Pink energy formed in his palms and sparks danced around it.
Goku got up and managed to stand. "Damn it. If that attack hits the ground, then Earth is done for."
"You don't think I already know that."
Goku spread his feet and cupped his hands to his side. He started gathering energy for his signature attack. A blue orb appeared in his hands.
Piccolo brings his hands to his head, one overlapping the other. He too started gathering energy as yellow sparks appear at his hands.
Raditz laughed as he saw them. He brought his hands forward and joined the two balls of ki. "Let's see you stop this one. It has enough power to destroy the entire planet."
"Ka…" Goku started his chant as the energy in hands grew larger.
"Me…" A white aura enveloped Goku and the ground started shaking.
"Ha…" The wind became stronger as the trees started to tilt.
"Me…" Debris started to levitate due to energy field surrounding Goku.
Piccolo started to scream as the sparks in hands got stronger. Veins started to bulge on his forehead, neck and forearms. A white aura surrounded Piccolo as his gi started to wave. The sparks in his hands started spinning into ball as a yellow orb appeared.
A white aura appeared around Raditz as well. He started to scream as the energy became more concentrated. The colour of the sky changed and turned purple. The clouds dissipated as a shockwave erupted from the build-up of energy.
Raditz smirked as he readied himself to launch his attack. "Saturday Crash!"
Goku threw his hands forward and released his attack. "Haaa!"
Piccolo brought his hands forward and let his blast fly. "Masenko Haaa!"

Nearby the fight, a lone space pod could be seen in a crater. Gohan had been screaming and wailing for the whole duration of the fight. His throat was scratched and it hurt a lot to even breathe. Although he had ragged breath, Gohan was still focused on the beam struggle happening outside the vessel.
The moment the beams clashed at one another, a shockwave had erupted which brought debris and entire trees to fly. Many hit the space pod but due to the sturdy structure, it protected him.
Gohan didn't understand the fight, mostly because of the flying debris and colour of the sky darkening, but he was coming to a realization that the man in the air might be stronger than his father and the green man. Thoughts like this were running through his mind. He had been kidnapped and his father was trying to save. Even though he forced himself to believe that his father was stronger, there was still a doubt in the back of his head that plagued his mind.
He had never seen his father fight before. His mother had been too adamant on making him study. This was his first battle and it was terrifying him. His face was red and his eyes were puffed from all the crying. He was still whimpering as he watched the fight.

A plane was hovering in the air above the oceans. On its side, CC was written in large capital letters. It was orange in colour and had enough space to carry 8 to 10 people. Through the tainted glass, the passengers seemed to be bickering amongst them.
Bulma glared at Krillin and huffed while crossing her arms. She knew he was right but refused to admit it. Master Roshi shook his head disapprovingly at the pair. Krillin who was piloting the aircraft was trying to explain to Bulma that a battlefield was no place for a woman like her. This statement had enraged her and she stated screeching at Krillin that she was not just a woman and that she could handle herself fine.
"You're just saying that 'cause you don't wanna get beat up in front of me."
"No, Bulma, honestly I could care less about that. Goku probably needs my help so I'm going to fight. You'll only be a burden. Even Master Roshi is going to help."
Bulma got even angrier while Master Roshi just coughed into his hand and muttered about being too old. Bulma glared daggers at Krillin, who had audacity to say she was a burden. Her face had become red out of anger.
"Excuse me! Who was the one that gave you this ship?! Me, so I am going to go with you whether you like it or not."
Master Roshi decided to intervene before Bulma would get further enraged and slap Krillin. He steeped behind Bulma and put a hand on her shoulder. Bulma turned around at his touch.
"Krillin's right Bulma, but you can fly the ship if we were to get injured." Roshi told Bulma who sighed.
But then her face contorted to one of anger once again. She noticed that the old man's hand had slipped down from her shoulder and was resting on her lower waist. She cocked back a fist and punched the turtle hermit on his face.
"Hands off Roshi!" She shouted at the old man who had fallen down at the force of the punch he received.

Goku gritted his teeth as felt himself slipping. His feet were planted in the ground. But the grassy surface was starting to break apart. The power behind his energy wave was tiring him. He could feel his reserves getting empty. Yet the maniacal Saiyan was laughing and enjoying himself.
Goku managed to balance himself once again and strained even harder. Veins started to bulge out of his arms. His aura become more intense and he poured even more ki into his attack.
Although the beams still did not budge. Raditz started laughing at their futile effort. His beam would soon overtake the two and destroy Earth. He had no use for this planet as the only reason he came here was his brother, who denied joining him.
It enraged Raditz that his brother was refusing the offer. He had travelled many galaxies to reach here and found out that this mission was a failure. That and his boss won't be too happy seeing him return empty handed.
Raditz put more ki into his attack and saw the tide turn in his favor. The two warriors on the ground were pushed backwards as the pressure of the beams was laid onto them.
"It must be hard with all those wounds!" Raditz shouted. "I'm sure this makes them BURN!"
Raditz's colossal beam touched the ground, destroying the surface and making a crater. Piccolo and Goku get pushed back even more as Raditz's attack nears. Their combined beams were almost completely taken over.
Raditz started cackling and pushed harder. "No chance! You have no chance!" He said. "I will grind this planet to dust!
Goku and Piccolo tried to push the attack away but Raditz was too strong. Raditz released another burst of ki in the beam and it nearly took their attack in it. Their beams were only managing to stop the attack from hitting them.
"No, it can't end like this. Goku, if you're holding back because of the planet then don't. We have Dragon balls; we can fix whatever happens to it." Piccolo shouts over to Goku.
Goku strains harder as he understood what Piccolo was saying. He planted his feet in the ground more firmly and released every ounce of ki he had. Their attack started to push the opposing beam back. They managed to bring the beam struggle back to a stalemate in the middle.
Raditz frowns as he fells his beam being pushed back. He puts more energy into his attack. As the burst of ki enters the attack and comes into contact with the other attack, it detonates.
A huge explosion follows and a shockwave erupts. A wide crater was formed as smoke filled the area. The colour of the sky slowly returned to normal. The winds died down and debris fell to the ground.
Goku fell on his knees and hands as he caught his breath. That last attack had taken a lot out of him. His muscles throbbed and his chest was a bloody mess. He looked over to Piccolo who was in a similar position.
As the smoke died down, they stood up and gazed up into the sky, only to find that Raditz had disappeared. Goku tried to sense his ki and turned around, only to be punched in the face which sent him skidding across the surface.
Piccolo glared at Raditz who was slowly approaching him. The evil mercenary didn't look the least bit tired. He had a smirk on his face while Piccolo was scowling.
Piccolo attacked Raditz by throwing a left neck chop. The blow connected but it didn't even faze the Saiyan. Raditz smirked as he gripped Piccolo's arm and tore it apart. His smirk widened when Piccolo let out a scream. Green blood oozed out of the wound. Piccolo staggered back and grabbed his shoulder in pain.
Goku stood up again and saw Raditz rip Piccolo's arm. He crossed his arms and channeled hi ki. "Multi Form."
A clone of Goku materialized beside him. Goku nodded to the clone who jumped back. Goku once again channeled his ki but to his finger this time. He pointed his finger at Raditz who was occupied with Piccolo. A thin beam came out of Goku's finger which struck his scouter, destroying it.
Raditz felt his scouter explode and flinched. He shook his head and glared at Goku. But then a smirk crossed his face and he jumped back and created some distance between them. He crossed his arms once again and waited for them to attack.
Goku walked up to Piccolo. "This guy is too much." Goku said. "He's even stronger than the both of us combined."
Piccolo grunted and looked at Goku. "I have a plan. There's an attack I've been working on. I wanted to use it on you but we need to take care of this guy first."
Goku's eyes lit up as a smile graced his features. "So what's the catch?"
"It takes a while to charge…you'll have to distract him." Piccolo replied before smirking. "And considering he was kicking both our asses at the same time…I don't know how long you'll last."
"Eh, I'll manage somehow." Goku stated.
He got up and launched at Raditz again in order to buy time for Piccolo. He went in for a right hook which Raditz blocked and retorted with a punch of his own that struck Goku's nose breaking it. He didn't stop there and kept pounding the hero with devastating blows. Goku couldn't block or dodge any of those hits and felt as if his bones were turning to powder.
Piccolo seeing his chance put two fingers on his forehead and gathered energy for his attack. He knew he would only get one shot at this so he had to make it count. Small sparks started to appear at his fingers as he kept charging ki.
Goku jumped back and sent a ki blast towards Raditz. The taller Saiyan deflected it and sent blasts of his own towards Goku. Goku blocked the blasts but fell into his brother's trap. Goku lowered his arms and looked for Raditz. He realized that Raditz had moved behind and turned around, only to be met with a kick to his face. Goku was launched forward and hit the ground.
Raditz started laughing and crossed his arms. "You seem slower than before Kakarot. Are you tired already?" Raditz taunted.
Goku got up on one knee and spat a mouthful of blood and spit. One of his eye was swollen shut while the other was half lidded. He panted and staggered to his feet. He smiled at Raditz who tilted his head in confusion.
"What are grinning at?" Raditz asked. "Have you finally gone senile?"
Goku didn't answer and kept smiling. Raditz was about to speak once again but he felt an enormous amount of pain in his lower back. He fell forward on his knees and hands. He looked back and saw Goku gripping at his tail. Raditz gritted his teeth and looked in front of him. Goku stared back at Raditz who became even more confused.
"You're probably wondering how there are two of me." Goku said. "Before we started fighting I made a clone. All I had to do was divert your attention and give him a chance to grab your tail."
Piccolo smirked when he heard Goku. Now if Goku would hold him down like that for a couple of more minutes then he will be able to kill the evil Sayain.
Raditz couldn't believe what was happening. He cursed himself for not noticing the clone. He glared at his brother who was now panting more heavily.
Goku looked at Piccolo who understood the message. Piccolo broke his gaze away from Goku and looked at the ground.
'Damnit, he doesn't have enough ki to hold that technique.' Piccolo thought grimly.
As Raditz struggled on the ground, Goku started panting even more heavily before grunting loudly. Raditz felt the pain in his spine disappear. Raditz looked back and did not see the clone. A smirk made its way onto his face once again. He realized that his brother ran out of energy. He stood up and dusted his armor.
"A commending effort, you grabbed my tail. Luckily for me, you couldn't hold that cloning technique for long."
Raditz slowly walked towards his brother and kicked him in his jaw. Goku rocked backward and fell headfirst. Raditz placed his foot on his chest. He looked down at his brother.
"You should have listened to me Kakarot, I gave you a chance and you refused it." Raditz said as an evil glint appeared in his eyes. "Now, you will suffer as I rip you from limb to limb."
Raditz applied pressure on Goku's chest as he released a scream of pain. Raditz laughed as he heard a few ribs crack. He applied more pressure and took great joy in torturing his bother.
Piccolo looked on at the scene as Raditz seemingly forgot about him. His attack was almost charged. "Damn it Goku, get up." Piccolo muttered "He can easily dodge the attack right now."

The brutality happening on the once grassy meadow was not something any child should witness. Seeing his father being tortured, Gohan was starting to feel something unfamiliar inside him. There was a burning desire swelling inside hide his chest. As if a beast trying to tear its way out of its cage.
Gohan whimpered as he heard another pained scream. They were getting louder and louder. Gohan tried his best to block out the screams of his father. He couldn't bear to look outside. All Gohan wanted to do was save his father.
It had been a special day for his father. He hadn't seen his friends for a long time. Gohan met his father's friends and enjoyed the company. But the evil Saiyan ruined it and proceeded to make his life a living nightmare.
Gohan gazed outside and looked at his father. His face was unrecognizable and his chest was bloodied. Raditz would stomp on his chest and he would scream while clenching his fists.
Gohan's eyes widened as he saw Raditz lift his foot higher than before. He held his foot up in the air and said something to his father. Gohan screamed when he saw the foot strike his father's chest.
Gohan clamped his eyes shut and awaited a scream, but it didn't come. So instinctively he opened his eyes and looked at the scene. His mouth fell open when his sight lingered on the broken form of his father.
Gohan kept staring at the body of Goku as he felt something break inside him. A dam broke and water started surging out. Gohan clenched his teeth as anger filled his mind. His eyes were still focused on his father.
Gohan saw Raditz spit at his father and gave him the same evil smirk.
The.
Same.
Smirk.
That was the last straw for Gohan as he felt his mind go numb, his vision became blurry and his body started shaking. Gohan felt his anger spike as he glared at Raditz with an unusual snarl. He felt his resolve breaking loose. Violent thoughts ran through his mind. Gohan was losing control of himself.
The last thing that Gohan saw before his mind went blank was his father opening one eye to look at him.

"Darn it, can't this piece of junk go any faster." Krillin said exasperatedly. "Goku's energy is really low."
"Don't worry Krillin, Goku's a tough guy." The turtle hermit said. "It takes a lot to bring him down."
Krillin felt a bead of sweat drop from his head. Goku's energy was dangerously low, Raditz was still the same but Gohan…His power was slowly increasing. It had surpassed Goku and Piccolo. Speaking of whom, Piccolo's power was increasing as well.
They were quite a distance away from the battlefield. It would take them at least ten minutes to reach there, and those ten minutes were not passing.
Bulma was sitting in the back and had a worried face. A sob escaped from her throat which the old master took notice of and went to comfort her. An awkward silence was present in the plane. The atmosphere was tense and heavy.

On a distant planet many light years away, two figures stood on top of a cliff. The sky was red while the ground was brownish in colour. A huge person was sitting on the ground and seemed to be eating. He was bald and had a moustache. He donned yellow armor and black trunks.
Another person was standing little ways further. He wore royal blue spandex and white armor. His back was turned. The wind started blowing and the man's flame shaped hair started waving with it.
There was smoke rising from the ruins a few hundred miles ahead of them. The man who was sitting down stood up and approached the shorter one. He stopped just behind the man.
"Well, Kakarot turned out to be a traitorous scum." He started. "What are we going to do now?"
"Right now, I'm more interested in his son." The shorter one said, his voice raspy and cold. "According to Raditz, that child had a power level of 700."
The bald man scoffed. "That child is a half breed. His blood is tainted by humans. I say we have Raditz kill the brat."
"That may be…But he could prove to be useful." The shorter of two said. "If what Raditz has said tis true then that child is an elite, despite being born in a low class family."
The bald man turned his gaze to the other man. "You are actually considering to bring him with us." His voice became louder than before. "Have you forgotten the Saiyan law."
"Are you raising your voice at me Nappa?" The man in blue asked in a very dangerous and low voice.
The man identified as Nappa widened his eyes and looked down while taking a step back. "I'm sorry Vegeta. I didn't mean to disrespect you."
"Tch, let's go already. Frieza will chew our asses if we're late." Vegeta stated and turned around.

Raditz stared at the beaten warrior and smirked. He chuckled as he continued to admire his work. He destroyed his brother's body and spirit. The only thing left was the planet.
But before he could dwell any further, he heard a strange noise from behind him. He promptly turned around to find the source. What he saw surprised him. His ship started shaking and sparks appeared on its metallic structure. Furthermore, he could see cracks forming. The sound started getting louder and louder. Bolts were forced out of the joints and the sparks got stronger.
An explosion soon followed as Raditz widened his eyes. The space ship exploded and its parts were sent flying. Smoke filled the crater and a dust cloud formed. From inside the crater, a small figure jumped out and landed on the ground.
Raditz's jaw dropped when he saw who the small figure was. "No, my space pod. You little brat!" Raditz exclaimed angrily.
Gohan bared his teeth at Raditz and snarled. His sanity was lost and he focused on Raditz. He wanted his blood.
Piccolo was shocked when he saw Gohan leap out of the crater. The energy Gohan was emitting assaulted Piccolo's senses and left him completely baffled. Gohan's ki was higher than even Raditz.
"Goku, look by the crater. It's your son." Piccolo told Goku.
Goku forcefully lifted his head and gazed at his son and instinctively called out to him. As his gaze lingered on his son, he was shocked to see his face. What was once a sweet and innocent child, became an uncontrollable angry beast. A feral look crossed his face as his son glared at Raditz.
"Gohan…Run, run away Gohan. Daddy can't get up; you have to get away from here." Goku said but his words fell on deaf ears.
Gohan started growling and bent down. A white aura appeared which destroyed the yellow tunic he was wearing and his hat was blown away. With a burst of energy Gohan screamed as the aura around him became stronger. The winds started blowing as his energy began rising once again. The ground started shaking as the child got on all fours. His tail started waving behind him and a crazed look rested upon his face.
"Leave my daddy alone!" Gohan screamed at Raditz who staggered back.
Even though Raditz couldn't sense power levels, he was certainly felling the pressure of the child's energy. As his eyes locked with the hybrid, he brought his guard up. Like he expected, Gohan jumped from the ground and launched towards him. Raditz was ready to block any incoming attack but at the speed which Gohan had pounced upon him caught him off guard.
The child's head connected with his chest with an unimaginable force. A loud thunder clap rang across the valley, soon followed by a blood curdling scream from Raditz. The blow knocked Raditz back as he was sent flying. His armor was cracked along with a few ribs.
Just as Raditz fell on the ground, a silence filled the area. Piccolo and Goku had shocked looks on their faces. The latter was staring at his son with both awe and fear.
Gohan gracefully landed on the ground and all the power he had acquired left him. He stood there paralyzed, not sure what to do. He heard his father call out for him weakly. Hearing his father's voice, he turned around and ran towards him.
Knelling beside him, Gohan whimpered as he saw Goku. "Daddy, are you okay." Gohan asked his father, who still had a shocked expression.
"Gohan…w-what was that?" Goku asked his son.
Gohan looked confused and opened his mouth to speak again but he was cut off by Raditz who gingerly picked stood up.
As the evil Saiyan stood, he spat a mouthful of blood. His armor had a hole in it, which revealed his damaged chest. He glared at Gohan who took a step back.
"You…You little brat! I'm going to rip you apart!" Raditz snarled at Gohan.
He began taking slow steps towards the child. Gohan could only stare in horror as the older man approached him. He could feel the blood lust from Raditz's eyes.
"Tell me, what happened to that power?" Raditz asked angrily.
Gohan shakily looked up at Raditz who was towering over him. "W-What power?"
"Don't play dumb, you know what I'm talking about." Raditz said. "You'll pay all the same."
Raditz raised his hand and glared fiercely at the child. Gohan closed his eyes and covered his face with his arms. Goku's eyes widened as he saw Raditz.
"No…Please, he's only a child. Don't hurt him." Goku pleaded.
Raditz simply ignored him and curled his hand into a fist. "He may be child but he has an enormous amount of power in him. That makes him a threat in my eyes."
Raditz brought his hand down and struck Gohan on the side of his head. A sickening crunch followed while Goku screamed as Gohan went flying to the side.
Gohan's body became limp as it hit the ground. Raditz clutched his chest in pain and turned towards the child. He started walking towards him as Goku tried to stop him.
Ignoring the pain coursing through his body, Goku turned on his chest and managed to crawl. He went after Raditz who was charging an energy attack. Goku shakily got up and pounced at Raditz, catching him in a full nelson. This surprised Raditz and he let the energy dissipate in his hand.
"What the hell do you think you're doing Kakarot?" Raditz asked angrily as he tried to break free.
Goku's grip tightened around Raditz. "Piccolo, I can't hold him for long like this!" Goku shouted to Piccolo. "Do it now!"
Piccolo heard Goku and steadied himself. He brought his fingers forward and released his attack. "Special Beam Cannon!" A swirling pink and yellow beam of energy escaped and travelled towards Goku and Raditz.
Raditz stared in horror as the beam approached him. He put more force into his arms but Goku wasn't letting go. Raditz flared his aura and powered up. He put even more force into his arms.
Goku's arms started shaking as his grip loosened. Raditz started screaming and pushed harder. Goku's grip loosened further and Raditz started laughing.
Raditz added a little more force and he broke free of Goku's grip. He looked at the beam coming at him. He hastily flew up and looked down at his brother.
Goku's eyes widened and he screamed when Raditz broke through his restraint. As Raditz flew up, Goku stared at the beam heading towards him. The speed of the beam was too fast for him to dodge and he had no strength left.
The beam came in contact with his abdomen and impaled him. The energy came out from behind curved up towards the sky. As the beam dissipated, Goku fell on his back with a hole in his stomach.
Goku stared up at his brother who was looking at him. Goku panted heavily while glaring at the evil Saiyan. He knew he was going to die. Die, knowing he couldn't save his son or his planet.
Raditz descended on the ground and turned towards Piccolo. He extended his arm and blasted the Namekian. The blast hit Piccolo and destroyed his lower half. Everything beneath his cheat was disintegrated. His arm and legs were also destroyed and he fell down.
Raditz looked at Goku once again. "Looks like you couldn't beat me. Don't worry I'm going to take great care of your son." Raditz said.
Goku could only look on with a defeated and pained expression. With Piccolo gone, Kami would die as well. That meant no Dragon Balls. "What…Are you going to do with him?" Goku asked.
Raditz chuckled and walked towards Gohan. "It's simple, brother." He picked Gohan and gave Goku a smirk. "I'm going to make him a true Saiyan."
Goku laid there as he listened to Raditz. A tear fell from Goku's left eye. He could not do anything to protect his son now. He heard Raditz laugh and grimaced. He was awaiting his inevitable death. More tears fell as he thought about all his friends
He thought back to the time when he first met Bulma, when he trained under Master Roshi and met Krillin, when he met Chichi and the Ox-King. His life flashed by him as his breaths became short. He closed his eyes and waited for death to greet him.
Raditz made his way towards the crater where his broken ship lay. He jumped down and surveyed the parts lying around. He grinned when he found what he found what he was looking for. He bent over and picked a tablet of some sort. He pressed a few buttons and beeping sounds were emitted from the device.
"Space Pod No. 111564, found 800 kilometers towards North West." A female computerized voice said.
Raditz flew up and gave his brother one last look. "Farewell brother." And with that Raditz flew away with Gohan.

The C.C air craft landed near the battlefield. A hiss sounded from the engines as the plane stopped. The back of the ship opened and Krillin made his way out followed by Bulma and Roshi. Krillin spotted Goku and ran towards him.
Kneeling beside him, Krillin held Goku's hand as his life force began to fade. "Goku…don't worry buddy we'll get you fixed up." Krillin asked as his eyes became glassy. "You're going to make it."
"No Krillin, not this time." Goku said as tears fell from his eyes. "He killed Piccolo and took Gohan."
"No, that means the dragon balls are gone too."
"Goodbye Krillin" Goku said as his body became limp and his life force faded completely. Krillin and the others stared at the lifeless body of Goku as they mourned the loss of their friend.
"I'm still alive." Came a gruff voice from behind the trio. They turned around to see Piccolo standing before them, fully healed and in a fresh gi.
"Piccolo! You're alive." Krillin exclaimed happily. "That means we can wish Goku back."
Krillin looked back at Goku's corpse that was starting to disappear. This alarmed the trio as the body of Goku became transparent and then disappeared completely.
"What the heck, he disappeared." Bulma said.
"It's probably Kami's doing." Piccolo said. "That old man is probably thinking something."
Piccolo turned around and started walking away. "Where are you going Piccolo?" Master Roshi asked.
"That's none of your concern. But if you must know, I need to be ready when you lot wish that idiot back." Piccolo said and took to the skies.

"Here it is, and it's in top condition too." Raditz said as he stood in a crater. He stared at a space pod. "It may be an older model but it'll do for now."
Raditz sat inside the pod and closed the hatch. He placed Gohan on base of the pod and pressed a few buttons on the panel. The pod shook and lifted itself up and blasted towards space.
Raditz looked towards Gohan who was unconscious. "We're going to make a soldier out of you yet brat."
