Karl waited for their reaction and saw that they all were smiling. "Do you promise to take care of my son?" "Of course I would never let anything happen to him." "Well I may get hurt in a challenge but that's nobody's fault." Everyone laughed and shared stories.
Later that week Nolan and Karl were walking around Nolan's old neighborhood when he stopped and started at a little boy playing in the front yard he had Nolan's dark brown hair and was kind of tall. "That's him." Karl looked and could picture a little version of Nolan playing in that yard.
"He looks just like you." "Do you want to meet him?" "Sure." "Isaac come here I want you to meet somebody." Isaac looked up and saw his cousin and then ran inside and a few minutes later ran over to Nolan. "Hi Nolan." Nolan just gave him a hug and then pulled him out. "Isaac I want you to meet somebody very special." "Who's that Nolan?"
"Isaac I want you to meet my boyfriend Karl." Karl smiled at the little boy and he tried to hide behind Nolan but that meant getting closer to Karl too since they were standing side by side. "Isaac time to come in we have to leave soon."Isaac ran into the house and passed his mom.
She then looked down the road and saw two figures standing beside each other holding hands. She walked closer and saw it was Nolan and somebody that he works with because Isaac and Eliza loved watching Mrbeast.
"Oh hi Nolan.Chris?" Karl laughed. "No it's Karl ma'm I'm Karl Chris is older than both of us and is married." "I'm so sorry I'm Judie Nolan's aunt and adoptive mom of Isaac." Little did they know Isaac was coming down the drive way to say goodbye to Nolan. "I'm adopted?" Nolan took Isaac in his arms and let him cry.
"I'll handle this." Judie nodded and went back inside. "Isaac do you want to get ice cream with me and Karl?" Isaac pecked out from Nolan's shoulder and nodded. So the three of them walked to the ice cream shop that Nolan used to come to all the time. "Ok do you know how we look so much alike?" Isaac nodded his head. "Well do you know how mommy has a baby in her tummy." Isaac nodded and smiled because he couldn't wait to be a big brother.
"Well sometimes babies grow in boy's stomach's." Isaac eyes went wide as he listened to what his cousin was saying because he could tell that this was important and he was only six. "Well I met this guy and the stork took something from him and then put it in me so we have a baby together that baby is you Isaac."
"Why did you give me up didn't you love me?" "I did it because I loved you I was a senior when I had you and I knew aunt Judie would take great care of you but I never gave up on loving you." "Dose anybody on the team besides me know that you are a parent?" "Jimmy but that's it."
Isaac looked at his cousin. "Did my other father not love me?" Nolan sighed because he hated how his relationship with Thomas ended. "I don't know because he moved away before I got to tell him." "Can I tell my friends that my mommy kind of is Nolan from Mrbeast?"
Nolan and Karl looked at each other because they knew how people were. "How about it be our little secret?" "Ok I love you Nolan." "I love you too Isaac so much." Karl smiled Nolan looked over at him and took his hand and kissed the back of it. "Nolan why do you live so far away?" "I moved there to be in Jimmy's videos." "Wait who is Jimmy?" Karl laughed as Nolan answered him.
"That's what Mrbeast's actual name is." "Do you want to know what is my favorite Mrbeast video is?" "The one were you bumped your head on the bunk bed and had to go to time out." "Hey that's not nice." "I liked that one too because I didn't have to participate but it was fun filming Ubering people and letting them keep the car."
Isaac smiled for the first time since he learned that he was adopted. "Nolan can I go back to North Carolina with you?" "Not right now buddy because none of my friends expect my boss and Karl know that I'm a daddy." "Why?" Just then Nolan's phone started to ring he looked at it and then passed it to Karl because it was Chandler.
"Hey Chan-dler"
"Karl why do you have Nolan's phone"
"Oh he is talking to his cousin"
"Oh ok do you know when you'll be back"
"Tomorrow" The week they had been here flew by.
"Alright I'll see you tomorrow"

Karl hung up and then passed Nolan back his phone.
