Ethan had a hard time sleeping lately simply because it had been a few weeks since he and his friends killed Stern and the seer couldn't stop thinking about the fact that the Lucifractor exploded which caused them to nearly die in the process while at the same time it caused the boy to rethink his feelings towards his best friend and how scared he was to almost lose him in that exact moment.
Flashback:
what did i miss? Benny asked.
you'll be just in time for the end if we don't leave now go run now Ethan demanded.
Benny just looked at the Lucifractor like he was in a trance until Ethan pulled him away from it.
BENNY COME ON GO! Ethan said pleadingly luckily Benny heard him and started running out of the building with Ethan not far behind him.
i feel the power there is no limit NO LIMIT! Stern said darkly as he took all the power from the orb as it went into him.
Benny stopped in his tracks as he pulled Ethan towards him and used his magic to put a forcefield up around himself and the seer to protect and shield them from the falling rocks rubble and debris from the crumbling building as an explosion rang out and everything went black and into darkness but the sheer force of the building exploding caused a shockwave and made Benny get knocked off his feet which resulted in him being flung into the air for a brief moment before landing on the ground and hitting his head against broken wood pieces of the destroyed building.
it wasn't long before Ethan woke up and started looking around the building's ruins searching for Benny while coughing from the dust that was in the air.
Benny can you hear me where are you?! answer me! Ethan said desperately.
im right here Benny said breathlessly laying still on the ground not too far away from him feeling relieved Ethan ran over to his friend can you stand up? Ethan asked as Benny nodded so the seer helped him up then he hugged him tightly in his arms not wanting to let go of him as he held him close.
i was so worried promise me you won't do something crazy like that again Ethan said his voice muffled into Benny's shoulder.
ok i promise Benny replied softly.
i don't know what i would do if i lost you i can't imagine a world or life without you in it and i was so stunned when i saw you laying there on the ground Ethan admitted truthfully.
im sorry Benny said apologetically.
don't be sorry Ethan replied.
the hug lasted for awhile until Benny pulled away breathing heavily for a moment before he collapsed to the ground again once more from exhaustion weakness tiredness and feeling out of breath from all the running he did and from getting hit on the head as well as being so low on strength energy and magic since he used a lot of it along with the adrenaline leaving his body.
what happened are you alright B? Ethan asked him worryingly as he looked at Benny while wiping dirt from his face and stroking his hair off to the side and out of his eyes as he started checking him for injuries luckily there was nothing major expect for a minor head injury as the spellmaster had a small little bump on the back of the head and Ethan gasped once he noticed it.
oh no Benny it looks like you hit your head Ethan said worryingly as he looked at the bump with worry.
oww oof ugh mmm yeah i did but im fine i just have to...catch my breath Benny said weakly while letting out a moan/groan and panting as he looked up at the seer and blinked at him with tired eyes before trying to sit up but gasped and grunted feeling worn out exhausted and woozy a little bit as he quickly laid back down again while taking deep breaths in the process.
whoa take it easy alright go nice and slow ok B cause you might have a serious head injury here hold still for a moment and let me take a look the seer said with concern still in his voice as he examined the back of Benny's head again to make sure.
ok your not bleeding so that's a good sign you just have a small bump back there and it's just a little sore and tender thank goodness the seer said with relief as he confirmed that the spellmaster wasn't badly hurt or injured.
alright let's get you outta here buddy and don't worry it's gonna be ok B just focus on catching your breath and there's no rush so you don't have to hurry take your time im right here Ethan said comfortingly to him before he picked him up in his arms and carried him off to safety.

Ethan blinked finding himself back in his bedroom again.
the boy always thought he liked Sarah but looking back at his memory's he knew now how worried he was for the spellmaster's life when Jesse's flock knocked Benny out at the movies when he got bit by zombies turned evil and had a evil clone of himself and in return he now realized how scared Benny was for him when he got bitten by Jesse at the school dance and when Ethan got turned into a werewolf.
Ethan wanted to tell Benny the truth that he liked him more then a friend but was afraid of getting rejected by him so he decided to keep his feelings to himself.
the next morning Ethan went to the kitchen to eat and saw his parents making his food hi sweetie how did you sleep? mrs Morgan asked.
not well i've been thinking about a lot of stuff lately Ethan replied not really feeling the need to eat.
why aren't you eating son i hope your not sick mr Morgan said with a frown.
MOM DAD IM FINE OK JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! Ethan shouted his parents looked shocked by their son yelling since they didn't expect it at all from him.
im sorry look im gonna be late for school alright bye Ethan said as he walked out the door.
it wasn't long before the seer got off the bus and was standing in front of the door and building that was Whitechapel high school he walked inside and started going to his locker to put his backpack away once he did he heard the school bell ring and went to lunch and saw that Benny was there waiting for him.
hey E wow you look rough Benny said with concern.
yeah i didn't sleep well i kept dreaming about us almost dying from the Lucifractor and Stern Ethan replied tiredly.
sorry about that buddy but don't worry ok we're not dead alright we beat him and we made it out alive so lighten up anyway if your looking for Rory and the girls they're not here they're with the vampire council Benny said.
gotcha Ethan replied as he yawned.
E i really think you should leave school and get some rest back at home Benny said with worry as he looked over at him.
i can't B we gotta go to our classes he replied as he finished eating the cafeteria food on his plate as the bell rang again.
Benny shrugged as he got up from the lunch table and followed his best friend to class.
the seer thought the classes would go smoothly but he was wrong since he fell asleep during everyone of them and the spellmaster had to keep waking him back up.
time passed by and it didn't take long before the sun was setting and the boys were at Benny's house in his room playing video games but Ethan wasn't focusing on playing the game well cause he was lost in his thoughts about his feelings towards Benny.
E come on you gotta pay attention cause im kicking your butt right now and that's pretty crazy and nuts because this is your favorite game after all Benny said with annoyance in his tone.
sorry B Ethan said with shame in his voice.
it's ok just tell me what's going on with you and what's on your mind Benny said pleadingly as he looked into the seer's eyes Ethan blushed in return but stayed quiet.
i want to get my mind off of it so can we go to the movies instead cause a new movie is out right now that i really want to see Ethan replied quickly as he rushed out the door.
ok Benny replied quietly to himself as he watched him go with a worried look on his face.
time skip
the boys were standing in line in the cinema's main lobby getting popcorn and drinks do you prefer sweet or salty or we could get a mix of both Benny said as he looked at his friend to hear his opinion on what they should get.
Ethan looked at all the flavors to pick and choose from but he couldn't make up his mind as he turned to look over at Benny.
im not really hungry to be honest but you can get something for yourself though i don't mind Ethan replied as he smiled softly at him.
E are you sure you're ok? Benny said feeling concerned once more about his friend as he put his hand on the seer's arm causing Ethan to shiver slightly from the contact.
feeling confident Ethan quickly grabbed Benny's face in his hands and pulled him in for a kiss Benny's eyes widened in shock from this so Ethan pulled away before Benny could say anything a crowd of people behind them gasped at the scene that took place Ethan looked horrified by this and ran out of the theater.
ETHAN WAIT! Benny shouted.
just then two girl classmates from their school came up to him who would've thought that loser turned out to be gay but i can't say i didn't see it Hannah said as she laughed.
what's your problem with Ethan? Benny asked.
come on someone needs to learn to take a joke Sunday said.
but you girls weren't joking were you! Benny replied looking angry.
aww your getting mad you can't help wanting to protect him can you cause he's a pathetic little geek Hannah said harshly.
the girl's comment about Ethan sent Benny over the edge as he tackled her causing a fight to break out between them in the lobby but it didn't last long as a officer came over and broke up the fight feeling the rage leave his body Benny decided to leave the cinema and talk to Ethan to see if he was ok.
meanwhile
Ethan was up in his room looking through photos on his phone of him and Benny together just then he heard the door bell ring.
ETHAN CAN YOU GET THE DOOR! mrs Morgan said.
Ethan left his bedroom and opened the front door and saw Benny standing there completely soaking wet from the rain.
hey E i wanted to talk to you after what happened at the movies Benny explained.
well come in already your getting soaked Ethan replied.
good idea Benny said.
then Ethan quickly pulled Benny inside the house and then shut the door.
did you forget to grab a coat? Ethan asked.
oh yeah i didn't check the weather when i left Benny replied.
Ethan laughed at this.
so listen E about earlier... Benny said but got cut off by Ethan.
let's go to my room Ethan suggested as Benny nodded and followed him upstairs.
once they were in Ethan's room the seer shut the door so they could have some privacy and alone time.
im so sorry Ethan said his voice breaking Benny looked confused by this but let it go as the seer kept talking.
im so sorry i kissed you i didn't think about what i was doing it was a stupid thing to do and i don't want you to feel awkward about it because it was all my fault Ethan said feeling remorseful about his actions.
Ethan hang on... Benny said but got cut off again.
i know you probably don't wanna talk to me ever again but i at least had to say sorry and see if there's a chance we can still be friends i don't wanna lose you because i did something dumb Ethan said.
this time Ethan was the one who got cut off from talking as Benny was the one who kissed him this time and once it happened Ethan deepened it.
E your the most kindest caring and amazing person in the whole world and i want us to be together i was afraid it wouldn't happened for a long time cause of Sarah getting in the way but that doesn't matter to me anymore because i came here to tell you that i feel the same way your my favorite person and i need you to believe me Benny said once he pulled back from kissing Ethan.
Benny i believe you Ethan replied simply as he took Benny's hand in his and kissed him on the cheek before kissing him on the lips again soon it turned into a full makeout session.
once it turned to nighttime Benny left to go back home next door so he didn't worry his grandma about staying over late.
while Ethan went to the living room to talk to his parents hey mom dad can i talk to you? the seer asked.
of course honey what is it? Mrs Morgan asked.
i like guys ok im gay and im in love with Benny so i hope it won't change how you see me cause im still me on the inside Ethan said admitting the truth.
son we're fine with who you like your still our kid and we will always love you no matter what mr Morgan said.
really? Ethan asked.
yes mrs Morgan replied as she gave her son a hug and mr Morgan patted him on the back.
feeling satisfied with their words Ethan told his parents good night and went back upstairs to his room.
Ethan was over the moon as he climbed into bed and instantly fell asleep.
