Chapter 1: Awaken, Saber!

The Wonder World. A world of endless floating islands, with a sky filled with bubbles floating all around. In the middle of this realm was a rather ordinary cottage. But what was unordinary was the residents living within it. Inside the cottage, its four residents sat around a table.

"Hello everyone. Bonne Lecture!"

The one who said that was a man dressed in a rather peculiar outfit, with the majority of it being bright pink, including his top hat. The only things not pink being his jacket and his bowtie, the jacket being a mishmash of dark colors, and the bowtie being a pure white. His long hair was green and he had a rather dashing moustache.

The one next to him was a young man. If there was one word to describe him though, it was regal. His outfit was a blue tuxedo with a light golden dress shirt and purple bowtie. His hair was long and blue, and reached all the way down to his back. What was most peculiar about him though, were his eyes: They were slitted, like a cat's.

Another one was a woman garbed in a yellow bedlah, her hair yellow and her skin of a middle eastern complexion. Her eyes were blue, and her lips a rosy red, and her figure voluptuous. She smiled as she beheld Tassel.

The final one saw across from Tassel and next to the blue-haired man. He wore a red leather jacket, along with a black t-shirt that had a dragon's head on it. He was wearing blue jeans and black sneakers, and his hair and beard were as fiery red as his jacket. His face was stuck in a hard scowl as he looked at Tassel in annoyance. His eyes, like the blue-haired young man's, were slitted.

"My name is Tassel, and these are my assistants Aryeh, the Lion King," The Green Haired man, Tassel, promptly introduced himself and the now named Aryeh, the latter bowing in response. "Scheherazade, the Storyteller." He gestured to the woman, who proceeded to bow as well. "And Great Red, the Dragon of Dragons." At this, the red-haired man in the room, Great Red, could only grumble.

"Now, this might sound a bit sudden, but books are quite the novel thing, aren't they?!" Tassel promptly shouted in joy, while Aryeh just sighed, Scheherazade tittered a bit, and Great Red just facepalmed.

"Master, please no puns." Aryeh admonished, rolling his eyes at the green-haired man.

"Oh stop it, Aryeh, you like them and you know it!" Tassel shot back.

"No, I don't. Now, could we please continue the exposition?" Aryeh sighed, taking a sip of his tea.

"Oh, right!" Tassel coughed into his hand and cleared his throat. "You see, much knowledge can be taken from books, including new experiences, or memories of the past. In fact, our very world was created by a book!"

At this, Scheherazade smiled and interjected, "Exactly. This great book known as the Omniscient Tome, contained all the knowledge of the world. From our stories, to the knowledge of animals and mythical beings, helped create Wonder World itself."

"Indeed! The Omniscient Tome was protected by the swordsmen who wielded magical swords known as Seiken! But one day, people began to desire the book. A war broke out, and in the struggle, the Omniscient Tome was split into pieces!" Tassel said, his voice lowered for dramatic effect. "Its scattered pages became tiny books called Wonder Ride Books. Just one Wonder Ride Book has great power, so even divided, they were sought after. The battle still rages on even now, and there's no telling when it will end. But this story doesn't begin here. It all began about 10 years ago."

"Ugh, finally! Now we're getting to the good shit!" Great Red shouted, leaning against the back of his chair, when Aryeh smacked him upside the head. "Ow! What was that for?!"

"I've told you many times to watch your language."

"What are you, my mother?!"

"As I was saying, around 10 years ago…" Tassel continues, ignoring the two.

The city was in chaos. Buildings were on fire, as monstrous creatures rampaged and chased people, all while being led by a mysterious armored figure.

The armored figure was purple with black and gold accents with a trench coat that hangs from the right ride of the waist. The chest piece of the armor was silver, and while the left shoulder-pad was an oval shape, the right shoulder-pad was shaped like a black dragon's head with a silver mask-like piece with three red slits. His helmet had a visor that resembled the one on his dragon-shaped shoulder armor, three black fins that fanned out from the right side. But what was very peculiar about his helmet was the large blade-like horn on his forehead. Strapped to the newcomer's waist was a sword with a purple handle and a gold jagged blade.

This was Kamen Rider Calibur, the Swordsman of Darkness.

A young girl tried to save her best friend, a little girl with short hair and a white dress, who was being sucked into a vortex. She held onto her hand, her grip as tight as possible. Though fate had other plans, as she slipped from her gasp.

"Homura!" She screamed as she was absorbed into the vortex.

The young girl then found herself in front of a battle hardened man. Although he was on his knee and injured, he remained defiant against Calibur.

"Where resolve fails, there remains only hope!" he cried, plunging his sword into the ground. An explosion enveloped the area, knocking the girl out.

When she woke up, she had no idea where she was, but in her hand, she held a mysterious red book with a fire-breathing dragon on its cover, and the simple but strangely powerful title:

Brave Dragon.

"Dammit, that dream again..." Homura moaned, rubbing her head as she woke up. She was a young woman of about 17 years of age. She began looking around her room till they landed on her desk and the books laying on top: Brave Dragon, and a larger, but no less mysterious book: Wonder Story.

Sighing, Homura got out of bed, having worn nothing but a bra and a pair of panties to sleep in. Her figure was nothing to scoff at, as she had long legs and a well-endowed bust. She picked up Brave Dragon from her desk and opened it. She stared at the book's single page, which only showed the silhouette of a ferocious fire breathing dragon.

"I have no idea where you came from, but one day, I'm gonna find out."

She didn't have much time to keep musing, as a voice called out to her from downstairs. "Homura! It's almost time for school! Could you be a dear and wake up your brother?"

"Oh, of course mom!" Homura set the book back down onto her desk and pulled out her uniform. It was a rather fancy black and white dress with a black ribbon and magenta skirt. As she finished dressing up, she tied her long brown hair into a ponytail. Looking at Brave Dragon, she decided to stow it away into her school bag.

As she walked out and closed her bedroom door, she went down the hall and knocked on her brother's door. "Issei, wake up! We have to go to school!" Hearing no response, Homura sighed and opened his door. The walls were covered in dozens and dozens of posters of half-naked anime women (a sight which Homura had gotten used to by now, much to her exasperation). In the center of the room's bed was her spikey haired brother, asleep without a care in the world. He looked to be in absolute bliss, probably having a great dream (most likely of sexy girls, as usual).

Shame she had to ruin it.

Taking a deep breath, Homura yelled into her sleeping brother's ear.

"WAKE UP YOU LAZY ASS!"

"AGH!" Issei bolted up straight away, panting heavily as he looked around. When he saw his sister standing at his bedside, his eyes narrowed as he glared at her. "Thanks for waking me up, sis," he said dryly.

Homura smirked at him as he got out of bed. "Anytime. Mom says to get ready for school. And I doubt that wearing nothing but your pajamas is acceptable."

Issei looked down at his pajamas, which were a pair of boxers and a plain white t-shirt. "Um, could you get out? I can't change with you here."

"Like I'd want to see my own brother naked," Homura chuckled as she left the room, shutting the door behind her.

Soon enough, the two were walking together towards school with their school bags over their shoulders, and a shinai in Homura's hand.

"So what's your plan today, Homura?" Issei asked.

"Maybe some kendo practice, then go to the library to read," Homura responded. She took one tired look at her brother before sighing. "How 'bout you? Trying to do the usual?"

"Yes ma'am!" Issei exclaimed at the top of his lungs. Homura groaned and smacked the backside of his head with her shinai. "OUCH! Hey!"

"You're such a perv. If I wasn't around to save your ass in middle school, you would've probably ended up as an outcast or a hikikomori," Homura responded, as Issei rubbed the back of his head sheepishly.

"Oh come on Homura, like you're not any better than me, " Issei said, a shit-eating grin spreading across his face. "I see the way you look at Kiba sometimes."

Homura's face turned a deep scarlet and turned her face away so he wouldn't see. "Oh shut up!"

Issei laughed at her expense, but when he finished, he looked at her and said "But seriously Homura, you need to tell him how you feel. I know you like him."

Homura sighed and looked up at the clouds for a moment. "I know, but…God, he's perfect in every way and…well, I just get too tongue-tied around him," she chuckled sadly, before turning to her brother with a sad smile. "Funny, isn't it? Kendo champion and aspiring novelist, Homura Hyoudou, too scared to talk to a guy."

Issei patted his sister's back gently. "A shame that we're in the same boat. Both in our second year of high school and beautiful, and yet still single."

Homura stared at her brother dryly. "Issei, you're single because you desire a harem and loudly proclaim it to the world. I'm single because I'm waiting for the right guy. Not only are our boats separate, mine's a yacht, while yours is a lifesaver."

Issei's face became a bright crimson as her words stabbed his heart. "Oh shut up Homura! It's not my fault you keep rejecting guys just because you got the hots for Kiba!"

"Oh, like Matsuda and Motohama? Your two perverted buddies?"

At the drop of a pin, the redness of his face disappeared and he looked at her baffled. "Wait…Matsuda and Motohama have been trying to ask you out?"

"Not just that, they've been peeking on me and the rest of the Kendo Club. Caught them red handed, but it still creeps me out."

At this, Issei's face contorted in anger. "I'm going to kill them. I'm going to kill them and hide the bodies."

Homura blinked as she raised an eyebrow at her brother's reaction. "Issei, what are you talking about? I know for a fact you'd peek at the club if I wasn't in it."

"That's the point!" Issei shouted. "They're violating the bro code! You do not date or peek at your friend's sister!"

"I can take care of myself Issei," Homura sighed, crossing her arms.

"It's still against the rules!"

"Whatever." Homura rolled her eyes. If there was anything admirable about her brother, it was that he at least had lines he'd never cross.

In a unknown location

Calibur stood in front of a painting and pressed down on its frame. It slid away, revealing rows upon rows of books, as far as the eye could see. A row of books rose up, and slid towards him. He looked down at the row before picking one.

"The time has come for the new world to emerge," he said, his voice garbled and modulated. He walked over towards a table and handed the book to one of the three individuals in the room with him.

"You still insist on fighting the Swordsman of Flame, Calibur?" someone said, their voice manly but purple swordsman turned and saw a young muscular man with spiky blonde hair. He wore a purple open shirt with red accents that revealed his abs, and slim black pants along. A mischievous smile was spread across his face, with a pair of intimidating hazel sharp eyes.

"Myus, do you have something in mind?" Calibur asked the young man.

"Nothing at all, I just wanna crush him with all my might, alongside these pathetic creatures that roam the earth," Myus said softly, though it did nothing to hide the aggressive tone in his voice.

"How predictable, Myus. Always wanting to crush anyone and anything in your sight without a chance to hear their pleas for help in utter misery." another person said mockingly yet calmly.

Myus turned to see another young man walking towards him. He looked quite chivalrous and sophisticated, with smooth black hair, and was wearing a red vest over a black shirt, with a blue tie and black pants. The most striking thing he was wearing though was the white fur coat with various animal patterns. While his face was smooth and gentle, a sinister aura hid behind his smile.

"Oh shut up Animos! You just like to play with your food for too long!" Myus exclaimed, grinding his teeth at his ally's words.

"There is nothing wrong with being feisty with your prey," Animos retorted, licking his lips in a hungry manner.

"Both of you are so dumb," a woman grumbled, who was sitting at the other side of the room. She had long violet hair, and wore a black full bodysuit with gold accents that left the central part of her bust uncovered that left nothing to the imagination. She had a calm face and had a small smile on her face. But the most striking part were her deep black eyes, which one could swear were darker than any abyss.

"Who are you calling dumb, Fabel?" Myus said, walking to the table in the center of the room and slamming his hands down hard onto it.

"I mean, you're all acting like champions. Even though we haven't defeated a single swordsman since ten years ago. All we're doing is just gloating over nothing," Fabel sighed, shaking her head disappointedly before making a mischievous smile. "But that changes today."

"So we're finally making a move?" Animos said, grinning while barely holding his excitement.

"Indeed." Fabel turned to Myus, and chuckled. "Myus, since you are so eager to meet the next generation of swordsmen, why don't you make the opening move?"

"Really?! Yeeeees! I'm gonna go wild!" Myus exclaimed before grabbing a small book covered in chains. "And I'm gonna start big!"

"May I come as well? I also wish to observe this new generation of swordsmen."

"Fine, just don't interfere with the show." Myus and Calibur then departed from their hideout into the human world.

Kuoh Academy used to be an all-girls private school, the kind that affluent politicians and businessmen would send their daughters to. But in recent years, it has become a co-ed school. This being such a recent change led to a disparity between the number of male and female students, with many young men enrolling into the school in hopes of taking advantage of this to find a girlfriend. One of them being Homura's own brother Issei.

After finishing kendo practice for today, she changed her kendo uniform and back into her school uniform. She had to remember to wash her laundry today, especially since she went at it today.

"Homura, you really kicked ass today!"

Homura smiled as she turned to face her two best friends, Sakura Katase and Mikan Murayama. Sakura was a girl with short pink hair with a white headband, while Mikan was a girl with long brown hair done up into two ponytails.

"It was nothing. You just gotta keep practicing and practicing until you get it right. It's all about patience and hard work," Homura shrugged.

"Yeah, yeah," Sakura chuckled as she put a hand around Homura's shoulder. "I don't think hard work was the only thing that won us the Kendo championship!"

"You really do have a talent for this kind of thing, Homura," Mikan said, smiling. "You're pretty much a prodigy at this."

"Talent doesn't win tournaments by itself. You gotta hone it and bring it to its utmost limit," Homura retorted. "Talent will only take you so far, you know?"

"Wish I could say the same about your brother…" Sakura said, as she and Mikan shuddered at just the thought of Homura's brother.

"Here we go again…" she thought, sighing to herself.

"Seriously Homura, I can't believe that someone like you is related to… Issei," Homura spat out before coughing. "Oh god, I think I just vomited a bit saying his name… Seriously, the guy is a total perverted sleazeball!"

"Girls, what have I said about badmouthing my brother?"

At this, her friends rolled their eyes. "Only I'm allowed to do that," they said in perfect unison, having gotten used to Homura's mantra.

"Exactly. He may be perverted and a total idiot, but he's my brother. He can be a decent person once you get to know him."

Sakura and Mikan stared at Homura with deadpan looks.

"Somehow I find that very hard to believe," Sakura said.

"Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with her there," Mikan replied.

Homura sighed and shook her head. "Trust me, live with him for a few days, and you'll see what I mean."

After they finished changing, the three left the locker room and walked towards the school's front entrance.

"So, what are your plans for today?" Mikan asked her fellow club members.

"Nothing much, just going to the library to try and work on the manuscript." Homura turned towards her friends "Wanna come with?"

"Are you kidding? You know I love reading your stories!" Sakura exclaimed. "Of course I'll join you!"

"I'll join in, too," Mikan added.

All of a sudden the three heard loud squealing in the hallway from girls, and turned to look towards the noise. They blushed furiously, with Homura's face being rather luminscient.

Down the hallway was Yuuto Kiba, the Prince of Kuoh Academy. He was a rather handsome young man with short blonde hair and blue eyes with a beauty mark on his face. He carried the air of elegance and chivalry, greeting every girl he walked past with a friendly smile and a wave of his hand. After snapping themselves out of their stupors, Mikan and Sakura turned towards Homura, their mouths turning into big grins.

"This is your big chance! You gotta tell him right now!" Sakura said, nudging her friend with her elbow.

"Um…I don't know if I'm ready…" Homura said softly, as she played with the end of her ponytail. "He looks busy, so I-"

"Oh come on, just bite the bullet!" Mikan said, pushing Homura forward towards Yuuto, despite her protests. "Hey, Kiba!"

"Hm?" Kiba said. He turned around to face the three girls approaching him. "Is there something I can help you with?"

"Well, not exactly," Sakura giggled, as Homura shook her head, silently begging her friends to stop. "It's just Homura has something she wants to tell you!"

"Oh really? You wanted to tell me something, Hyoudou?"

"..." Homura was completely silent, her mouth not opening as her heart began beating like a jackhammer and she stared into space.

"Hello? Earth to Homura?" Sakura said as she waved her hand in front of Homura's face.

Homura couldn't say anything, her brain frying itself from just being so close to Kiba.

Mikan shifted her eyes around before jumping to her friend's defense. "Actually, you know what? Never mind! I just remembered we have somewhere to be! We gotta go now, see you later!" She and Sakura then took Homura's hands and pulled her away, leaving behind a confused Kiba.

As soon as they were out of Kiba's eyesight, Homuraturned around and glared at her two friends. "What the hell was that all about?!"

"We should be asking the same thing!" Sakura retorted, crossing her arms and puffing her cheeks out indignantly. "You screwed up your chance again!"

"Well sooooorry! You know how I get around Kiba!"

"Look, let's just save it for another time. No point in arguing," Mikan sighed as she looked at her friend. "But you really need to work on this, Homura. You can't keep freezing up when Kiba's around. It won't be too long until someone else snags him before you.."

"I know, I know," Homura bemoaned, slumping against the wall in defeat. "Let's talk about this later, alright? I gotta get to the library. You two still want to l come with me?"

"Of course!" Sakura grinned.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world," Mikan smiled.

"Then let's go!" Homura yelled as she began to walk towards the entrance of the academy. As they walked out, they didn't notice that a mysterious young man was watching them. He had mid-length brown hair and hazel eyes, and wore a blue uniform. He looked down at the book in his hand, which had a roaring blue lion on its cover and a bold title:

Lion Senki

Myus and Calibur stood atop one of the skyscrapers in the city, watching all the people down below them happily wandering through their lives, without a care in the world. Too bad he had to ruin it. With a sinister smile on his face, Myus held the book in his hand up in the air.

"Well my little friend, it's time to cause some mayhem." Myus said. He flipped the book's cover, revealing an image of a golem, the picture itself being covered by chains.

"Gansekiou Golem!"

From the book, loose pages flew out and stacked on top of each other, forming a humanoid shape. The stacked papers exploded and revealed a monstrous being. It had huge hands with long fingers. Its head resembled a clay pot being molded by a pair of giant stone hands, with a ghoulish stone face in the middle of it.

"Hello, Golem," Myus greeted, as the monster bowed to him.

"Interesting choice of Megid," Calibur muttered, observing the monster.

The two took a moment to admire the creature created by the book, when Myus began clapping his hands. "Congratulations my friend! You've been chosen to carry out this special task."

Myus then handed Golem a blank white book. "Your mission is to connect the worlds, and to destroy any swordsmen that try to interfere."

The Golem Megid only nodded with a subtle grunt, before opening the white book.

The three teenagers were barely ten steps away from the library when they felt the ground starting to shake. They looked around when they noticed something extraordinary.

Outside the edge of one end of a nearby park, a fantasy realm with a never-ending blue sky appeared. Bubbles were floating all around, and off in the distance, one could see floating islands and numerous other fantastical features, and creatures of all kinds flew in the air above them. Homura's eyes widened as she stared out at this world.

"Where are we?" Mikan asked, completely dumbfounded by the current scenario.

"I don't know..." Sakura muttered. While her two friends were busy trying to figure out what was going on, Homura began to feel some sort of familiarity with this world.

"No way, it can't be…" Homura muttered, as she reached into her school bag. She pulled out the book Wonder Story, and flipped through it, stopping at a picture that displayed a fantastical world, and began comparing it to the scene out in front of her.

"This is just like in this book... But how is this possible? Could this world have something to do with why I can't remember where I got it?"

Issei was quietly returning home that day after being busted by the kendo girls by supposedly peeping, even though he didn't do anything, at least his sister covered up for him and lessened their punishment.

Man, can't this day get any worse?" Issei asked to himself, before suddenly noticing how the sky and the surroundings, the place before him disappeared leaving only a completely white horizon, as if the rest of the city vanished. He began to look around and noticed a lot of bubbles coming from seemingly out of nowhere.

"Where the hell am I?" Issei asked himself before noticing a lot of people running towards in a frightened manner.

"What's going on?!" Issei asked himself before noticing a bunch of pale monsters resembling some kind of fish dressed in cloth with some kind of weapon composed of a mix between a gun and a sword.

These were the henchmen of the Megid, the Shinme.

"What the hell are those things?!" Issei exclaimed worried, by seeing the monster hurling towards him, seeing the imminent danger Issei started to run away from them as fast as his feet could take him.

"Help! Someone help me!" Issei yelled for help but everyone was already occupied by also running from the armed monsters. He was getting tired until he slipped and fell on the ground, he looked up to see the group of monsters getting even closer, he closed his eyes thinking it was the end until he heard a slashing noise.

He looked up and saw a mysterious figure. Said figure was wearing a silver armor with black and white details. The chest piece of the armor was blue with the face of a panther engraved into it, along with blue shoulder-pads. Its helmet had a visor with the shape of a blue V like slash with the forehead piece having a silver blade that was protruding like a horn. In Its waist there was a black belt with a silver buckle with two silver holsters at the sides. in one of his hands there was a huge battle ax in shiny blue color, while in the other one there was a silver sword, with something plugged into it, Issei couldnt clearly make out what it was but it seemed like some kind of tiny book?

"Run away while you can. '' Said the mysterious warrior clearly struggling with the horde of monsters.

"Thanks!" Issei said before running away to a safer place.

"Man these things are everywhere, I hope Liseth can deal with boy." The armored figure said to himself before brutally slashing the monsters away.

As the three scanned their surroundings, screamings and panicking began to fill the air. Looking over at each other, the three decided to see what was going on, hiding behind walls and vehicles to avoid being seen. What they saw shocked them to the core. They came across the Golem Megid wreaking havoc across a part of the downtown area, its floating hands coming off of the top of its head and destroying parts of several buildings.

"What the Hell is that thing?!" Mikan shrieked.

"A hideous monster!" Sakura yelled, pointing at it. Homura, however, soon noticed that the objects the Golem Megid destroyed were flaking away as if they were made of burnt paper, and that in the Golem Megid's hands was a white book that was blackening from the corner, which grew bigger and bigger with each thing the monster damaged.

"That book...where did you get it?!" Homura screamed at the Megid.

"Hm?" the Golem Megid said, turning to face the girl. "These books are the source of our power. The more we destroy, the more this book will be completed. And once that happens, this world will be ours for the taking!"

"We?...You mean there are more like you?!" Homura was now livid. To use books to hurt people like this, when they were meant to spread happiness and entertainment was unforgivable. She silently swore that whatever these things were, she'd make them pay dearly for their actions, but not before getting answers about what the strange books are.

"Bah! I don't even know why I'm wasting my breath explaining this to a human! Begone!" The Golem Megid shouted, launching the hands from its head at Homura. She had no time to dodge, and its hands slammed against her stomach, knocking the air from her lungs.

"Homura!" Sakura cried out. However, Homura forced herself back up, and charged towards the Golem Megid in an attempt to tackle it, only for the monster to dodge left, causing Homura to stumble.

"Hmph, to get up so quickly from my attack. You're clearly not an ordinary human."

"I don't know what the hell you're going on about, but return our city back to our world!"

"No can do." The Golem Megid held up the book it was carrying, which was almost completely blackened. "Once this book has been written, the world we envision will come to fruition!"

"I may not know what the hell you're going on about…" Homura muttered, as she shot a glare at the monster. "But I know this! If you're using a book to hurt people, then you're my enemy!" Homura then tried once again to tackle the Golem Megid, but it dodged once more. It then proceeded to knee Homura in the gut, knocking the air out of her once again.

"You know, this is becoming tedious. It's time for you to become a sacrifice for our new world!" The Golem Megid launched the hands on its head towards the top of a nearby building, causing rubble to fall down and bury Homura.

"Homura!" Mikan shrieked.

Unbeknownst to her, Mikan, and Sakura, nearby the mysterious man that had been observing them appeared out of a book-like portal, a strange sword in his hand. It was contained in a strange buckle-like sheath, with a blue handguard with an odd emblem engraved onto it.

"No! I have to defeat him quickly before more lives are lost!" The man says to himself.

But before anyone could make a move, a bright red glow radiated from the pile of pile was lifted up and scattered, revealing Homura and the glowing Brave Dragon book.

"Did this book just save me?" Homura said, astonished. She flipped the book's cover open, revealing the silhouette of a fire-breathing dragon.

"There once was a mythical creature with the ability to obliterate everything in its path."

The mysterious man's eyes widened when he saw the book. "A Wonder Ride Book?!"

A pillar of fire shot out of the Wonder Ride Book itself, taking the form of a massive red dragon. The dragon took to the sky before diving down, crashing into the ground. In the crater it created, a rusted sword covered in flame appeared.

"When the world unravels, the dragon will awaken the Sword of Flames," the man recalled, his eyes widening as he and everyone stared at the flaming sword. "Don't tell me…"

Homura stared at the sword. Despite its rusted state, it almost looked familiar…

"Where resolve fails, there remains only hope!"

Encouraged by these words that echoed in her head, Homura stretched her hand out towards the sword, despite the intense heat of the fire surrounding it.

"What is she doing?! No ordinary human can wield a Holy Sword!" However, despite his disbelief, the man continued to observe the situation. Homura's hand reached the sword, and she gripped it tightly.

"Stop this Homura, you're going to get burned alive!" Sakura yelled, watching as her friend began to pull at the sword.

"Come on, we need to get away from here!" Mikan yelled, when the Golem Megid began to approach them..

"I know! But, this sword… this sword is calling out to me!" Homura said. The flames were unrelenting, threatening to burn her the longer she kept her grip around the sword's handle. She struggled with all her might to pull out the sword. Then with a mighty yell, she pulled it from the ground, raising it above her head in the air. The surrounding flames then proceeded to fly into the sword, coating it and changing its shape. When the flames died down, Homura looked at what she was holding.

It appeared to be some kind of sword in a strange sheath with three rectangular slots. On the hilt of the Sword was a red handguard that was stylized like a flame. Like the Brave Dragon book, a voice came out of the sword.

"Seiken Swordriver!"

"So...with this sword and this book… I can protect this world… My home…" Homura stared at the sword in her hand before glaring at the Megid,

"Listen here freakshow! You. Are. Going. DOWN!" Homura yelled, putting the sword on her waist. A belt came from the sheath and wrapped itself around her waist, turning the sheath into a belt buckle.

"Pretty bold words, coming from someone who's about to die!" the Golem Megid retorted.

"It's never gonna happen… Cause this story's ending is mine to decide." Homura held Brave Dragon and opened it, causing the voice from before to ring out.

"Brave Dragon."

Homura inserted the book in the right hand slot, and put her hand on the sword's handle, and without missing a beat, pulled it out of its sheath.

"Rekka, Unsheathe!"

Homura made a cross-shaped slash with the sword, as the dragon from before appeared out of the book and circled around her.

"Transform!"

The dragon soon began to merge with her, forming into armor. The armor's left side was black, the center was white, and the right was red. A red waistcoat hung off the right side of her waist, and a red dragon head with yellow eyes rested on her right shoulder.

The belt now had two holster-like devices on the right and left side of her waist, the left one being slightly different to the right holder. The helmet was split into three colors with the bottom right being red, the bottom left being black and the forehead piece being white where a silver blade was protruding like a horn. The cross slash that Homura made flew back towards her and landed onto her helmet, transforming into a fiery visor.

"~Brave Dragon!"

"Rekka: Volume one! When the Brave Dragon and the Sword of Flames Rekka unite, a crimson blade shall pierce through all that is evil!"

"Ah, so your name's Rekka? Mine's Homura, let's get along, shall we?"

Unbeknownst to Homura, Myus and Calibur were watching the whole thing. Myus's eyebrows were raised ever so slightly, while Calibur stiffened.

"Saber…"

"And just who do you think you are, intruding onto my territory?"

Calibur and Myus turned around and beheld an unusual sight. Standing right in front of them was a red-haired young woman with a voluptuous figure, glaring at them with blue eyes.

She wasn't alone either. Standing next to her was another young woman with an equally voluptuous figure, with black hair tied into a ponytail and violet eyes. There was also a petite girl with hazel eyes and short white hair, with a black cat hairpin in her hair. Lastly rounding them up was Kiba with a strange sword in his hand.

"Hmmm…" Was all Myus could say after hearing the sudden declaration before analyzing all the members present. "Red hair…" Myus said quietly before a small but smug smile formed on his face.

"I see, so you're from the Gremory bloodline. This must mean you're going to do something about your so-called territory." Myus said in a mocking tone.

Rias didn't take the response lightly, and stared at the blonde man with indignation.

"Yes! This is a matter of the Gremory family so I'll ask you one more time, who are you?" Rias said, this time with a little hint of anger in her tone.

"Me? It doesn't matter who I am to you, or who you are to me. You all will die sooner or later." The man threatened the group in a mocking manner.

"I'll show you what happens when you mess with the members of the Gremory family!" Rias said before she and her companions approached them.

"Hmp! I don't have time for this. Calibur, Dispose of them!" Myus said to his comrade before turning away from his enemies.

"You won't get away!" Rias said before trying to catch up with the blonde man but she was stopped by Calibur who has his sword on her neck

"You won't interfere with this, Devil." Was all calibur said before kicking rias with great force away from him.

"President!" All the remaining members shouted when they saw her friend getting kicked before helping her get up.

"And who do you think you are?!" Rias asked with anger at the armored swordsman.

"My name is Calibur, the swordsman of darkness." Calibur said to his opponents.

At this, Kiba's eyes widened as he heard the name. Looking at the sword in the rider's hand, his eyes narrowed in anger."That's…!" He then shook his head "No, I need to focus. While it may be a Holy Sword it's not…that thing."

"Whoever you are, you have shown aggression against the house Gremory and you shall pay the consequences, everyone get ready!" Rias retaliated.

"Yes President!" The other members said before running towards the purple swordsman.

"Don't get in my way." What's all Calibur said before raising its sword and running towards his opponents.

The Golem Megid let out a roar as it sent numerous hands after Saber. Saber began to duck and dodge all of the flying hands, avoiding the barrage. She got closer to the Megid, and unleashed her own barrage of rapid slashes, with fire coating Rekka's blade.

The Megid pounded the ground with its bare fists, causing a series of seismic quakes to knock Saber off of her feet. However, Saber managed to stab it on the red book in the center of its chest, causing the Megid to grab its chest and try to nurse the wound.

"Ah, so that's your weak spot, eh? Guess I just need to keep on hitting it!"

As Saber managed to get back on her feet, the Golem Megid attempted to hit Saber with its fists. Saber, however, was predicting every move the Golem Megid could make now, as she noticed that its fighting style was rather sloppy. Parrying the punches, she managed to hit the chest region, wounding the Megid once more.

"You bitch! Let's see how you like this!"

The Megid opened the book it held, transporting Saber and itself into a desertlike environment. Once more it pounded against the ground, knocking Saber into the air.

However, Saber caught her footing, and instead landed on a weird sword-shaped monument. Noticing the myriad of boulders soaring towards her, Saber began to slash through the rocks, jumping onto them and using them as platforms to try and get off the monument. Once she was directly above the Golem Megid, she dived down from a boulder as Rekka became engulfed in flames once more.

"HEY! No one calls me that and gets away with it!"

Saber swung the sword down into the Golem Megid, forcing them both out of the desert and back into the city.

Once she landed, Saber tapped the book's left page.

"Brave Dragon!"

Fire coated her hand, growing bigger and bigger. "Dragon Wonder!" Clenching her fist, she reared her arm back and punched the air, summoning her dragon that fired forward like a missile. The Golem Megid tried to block the attack by summoning a boulder, but it was no use as the dragon's flame broke through and hit the Megid on the chest. "Wait, what the hell did I say?!" Homura said before noticing the monster trying to get back up, "Well it doesn't matter right now." Homura said before charging once again into the battle.

"Where do I go?! Half of the city completely vanished!" Issei said, trying to find refuge.

"Over here." Said a femenine voice from afar.

Without more restraint Issei went where he heard the voice. To his surprise he found a young lady with long bright orange hair and blue eyes, and she was dressed in a mysterious uniform.

Her face was certainly cute, which caused Issei to blush.

"Don't worry young man, I'll get you out of here." Woman said in a confident but happy tone.

"Thanks." Was all Issei could say before she and him went into the blank part of the city, then the lady raised up the same kind of sword the other warrior had which caused Issei to raise some questions. However his thoughts were interrupted when a white book-like portal appeared in front of them.

"Please, come with me." The lady said while offering Issei her hand.

"Y-yes." Issei said nervously, as he was about to hold hands with a girl and pretty no less. After quitely stammering for a bit, issei grabbed the girls hand and both of them jumped through the portal.

When both of them came out they saw the other parts of the city, as if nothing happened to them.

"What happened?" Issei was confused until he looked back and saw that the part of the city in which he was vanished only left a white space.

"We cross through the portal." The orange haired girl said, before looking directly at Issei. "Don't worry, here you'll be safe." The girl said with a smile.

"Thanks, but what do i do now, what about those who are still trapped in there!" Issei exclaimed, worried.

"Calm down, we have it under control." The lady said before bringing her sword up and close to Issei's face. "But first, would you please look into this symbol here." The woman said pointing at the strange mark found at the bottom of the blade.

"Sure" issei said sensing no problem, but as soon as he got his face close he suddenly saw the mark shine bright.

Suddenly, Issei felt his eyelids become heavy, and his mind becoming blank, but at the same time he felt a small tingling in his left arm unnoticed by the girl.

"Now, go home, and forget everything you saw here. It is for your own safety that you do not remember the events that transpired today." the girl said to Issei pointing in the opposite direction from the white void.

Issei could only nod as he began to walk towards his house, but without noticing a really faint green glow in his left hand.

"RAAAGHH!" The Megid roared, smoking from the previous attack as it struggled to stand.

"I swear on this sword, I will protect my city!" Homura sheathed Rekka into the belt, and pressed the trigger on the handle of the sword twice.

"Reading Finish!"

"Dragon! Strike: Volume 1! Fire!"

Saber lowered herself close to the ground as a ring of fire surrounded her and the Golem Megid.

"Flaming Dragon Kicking Break!" She declares, leaping into the air and performing a flying kick, gathering fire around her right foot that shaped itself into a dragon's attack connected with the Megid, pushing him back and destroying some of his body.

"I knew mixed martial arts classes would eventually pay off!" Homura celebrated, but it was cut short since the Megid was far from done. It gathered the surrounding rubble that the rampaging and fighting had caused, absorbing it all and becoming gigantic.

"Oh come on! Can't you just die already?!"

"It doesn't matter!" The Golem Megid roared as stomped around and pounded the ground to try flattening Saber. "The ending to this story has already been decided! There's no changing it at this point!"

Saber continued to duck and dodge all of the Megid's strikes. "Like I told you before…" she growled, sheathing Rekka once more, pressing the trigger. "The ending is mine to decide!" she cried, drawing the sword out.

"Reading Finish!"

"Rekka Unsheathe! Dragon! Slash: Volume 1! Fire!"

"Flaming Cross Slash!" Saber yelled.

The Megid tried to smash Saber, but the knight dodged the blow, and proceeded to slash the monster across the abdomen. She wasn't done there though, as she proceeded to slash the monster all across the body at unbelievable speed. She aimed for the middle of its torso and slashed through it, causing the Megid to explode.

"Now that...was something… otherworldly..." Saber stammered as she fell to the ground from the exhaustion, changing back to her civilian form.

"Homura!" Homura heard her friends Mikan and Sakura calling from the distance.

"Homura, are you ok?!" Mikan asked, patting down on Homura's arms and legs to make sure she was fine.

"You really scared us back there!" Sakura said, tearing up with relief that her friend was fine.

"Sorry if I made you two worried," Homura said, apologizing to her friends.

"It's ok, but what in the world was that? And what the hell did you transform into?" Mikan said, her hand on her chin in thought.

"Yeah, you looked like some kind of superhero back there, and what was with those moves you just shouted out?" Sakura added, crossing her arms and pacing a bit.

"I don't know, the words just flew out of my mouth."

Meanwhile in another part of the city we can see the rest of Rias' friends resting on the floor badly beaten up while the purple swordsman was standing as if nothing had happened.

"You are all lightweights in my sight." Was all Calibur said before raising his sword against them. "Now, disappear." Calibur said before bringing his sword down towards them.

Everyone shut their eyes awaiting for the worse but nothing happened. They opened their eyes seeing that someone blocked the purple swordsman's attack.

Said someone was a warrior with an armor, both right and left sides of the armor where black silver parts and blue lines, the center was completely blue with a blue lion face with yellow eyes on the chest part and armor like lion feet on the legs, along those there were two blue strips on his back and two attached from his belt, one in the front and one in the back.

His helmet was also divided in three sections in which the bottom left and right were mostly black with the forehead piece being blue and a silver blade protruding like a horn. With a horizontal slash that flicked upwards to the right working as the helmet's visor.

This was Kamen Rider Blades

Said figure was using a silver sword similar to the one Homura had, only this one had a blue handguard that was stylized like a water current.

Kiba looked at the armored figure, then his eyes widened as he beheld the sword in his hand. They then narrowed as hate began to fill his gaze.

"Another one?!"

"Run! Run while you can!" The figure said as he tried to hold his best against the purple swordsman.

Rias decided not to ask questions or intervene since her friends and her were too weak to fight, she decided it was for the best to get put as soon as possible.

"Ok, everyone come on!" Rias said to her companions as each of them started to gather together as a magic circle appeared below them, all of them except for one.

"Yuuto, come on!" Rias said to her blonde friend who's gaze was too focused on the two swordsmen fighting.

"YUUTO!" Kiba heard one more time her friend calling her to come with her, deciding not to waste time , he went into the magic circle with a bitter taste in his mouth.

While they were escaping Calibur and Blades kept exchanging slashes until Calibur noticed they were gone.

"Hmp, so they escaped. He said before pushing blades back and opening a purple portal behind and walking towards it. "We'll meet again, especially you, water swordsman." Calibur said, with the last part pointing at Blades who just got up her feet.

"You won't run away!" Blades said before going after Calibur, but to his dismay the purple swordsman crossed through the portal disappearing from the sight of him. "Damn, he managed to escape. Sophia won't be happy about this." The blue swordsman said before grabbing his sword and walking away from the place.

It was late and Animos and Fabel were sitting in their chairs having witnessed the battle from crystal ball, they suddenly heard someone coming and saw their fellow megid busting into the room.

"Well well well, look who's back from failure." Said Animos in a condescending tone to his fellow member.

"Oh, Shut up Animos! You weren't there when the swordswoman appeared out of nowhere." Myus responded furious by his defeat.

"Saber?" Fabel Ask intrigued.

"Yes, Saber." Myus said exhausted, "Didn't think it would ever come back.

"Well, It doesn't worry me." Fabel said before getting up from her chair, this just makes things more interesting.

"Yeah, and hey by the way. That chick Gremory came by during one of our operations.

"Really? What happened? Did you kill her?" Animos asked in succession.

"Nah, she was too lame for me to kill. I got Calibur to handle her." Myus said offhandedly before noticing said comrade approaching the scene. "Well, look who's back. How was your time with Gremory?"

"Like I told her and her companions earlier, they were lightweights." Calibur said before he stiffened. "I was about to finish them off until Blades appeared." Calibur finished getting surprised looks from the megid.

"Blades? Are you serious?" Animos asked, getting a nod from Calibur.

"Are you fucking me?! First Saber, now Blades! Swordsmans are appearing out of nowhere." Myus said indignantly.

"Well, isn't this going to be interesting?" Fabel said offhandedly before getting an amused smile on her face."

After the battle, the Kendo trio opted to go to Homura's house to collect their bearings. All three of them just sat in the living room, observing the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book and the Kaenken Rekka.

"So…we're in all agreement that something really freaky is going on, right?" Homura asked her friends, who nodded. Homura could only sigh as she picked up the book and opened it, revealing the silhouette of the fire-breathing Dragon.

"Just what are you?" Her gaze then turned towards the Kaenken Rekka "And for that matter, what is Rekka?"

Hearing someone knocking at the door, Homura promptly got up and opened it. She was surprised to see a young woman in her teens with bright orange hair and blue eyes, wearing a mysterious uniform, a look of seriousness evident in her features.

"Homura Hyoudou?"

Homura was instantly on edge. "Who are you?"

"My name is Liseth, a member of the Sword of Logos, and I am under strict orders from my superior, Lady Sophia, to bring you in for questioning."

"Huh?!"

A section of Kuoh was moved to our world! That certainly was an unexpected event! But Homura, who was caught up in the incident, transformed and saved everyone! That is what I believe people would call fate!" Tassel said, excitement evident in his voice.

"Yes, but it would appear that the incident in Kuoh has caught the attention of the Devils there." Aryeh then began to frown "They're going to need all the help they can get if they wish to survive against the Megid."

"Aryeh, you worry too much." Scheherezade titterred "They have the might of Saber to aid them!"

"Hmph," Great Red muttered "This girl's got balls, I admit it, but she's gonna need more than that to impress me. We'll see how well she handles my power in due time."

"For now, let us wait and see what happens next." The Lion King remarks.

So our dear Homura has become Saber and who was that girl and that swordsman in silver, find out the next chap. But if you've already read Squeege's story then you already know.

Also, as you know I like feedback, the written one and the Ben 10 alien respectively. So please leave a comment. I'll answer it in the next chapter.
