Library card sewing swimming class play and more
An I made a major oops last chapter, the babies would have been born in July not June so while they were at day camp. Zack is celrocks Kai Kya MinJun and JiYeon are lost 42s Sam and Jake are Boris yeltsins
We started back to school the 2nd week of September just after Susie and I turned 5. That Friday our teacher announced we would be putting on a class play. We would be putting on a fairy tale mystery show that we would help write. We worked on it for 2 weeks before we held tryouts. I tried out for and earned the role of mother goose who was the 2nd main character. We all worked so hard getting it right for our families and friends. It went well minus my forgetting my lines and Zack tripped on Kimi's foot. We went out for ice cream after it was over as this is a tradition in my family.
The following week we started a beginner swim class, we would learn to swim safely. We started with the front stroke then the backstroke and learning to float. we also learned several other things like the frog kick. We all enjoyed this, at the end we all got awards for finishing level 1 swim class and Chuckie was invited to join the preschool swim team, he was a natural in the water.
During this time, I started Ballet and gymnastics lessons which I enjoyed a lot. I was a so excited to have a sport I could easily do, as my balance is not the best. They told us gymnastics would possibly help with my coordination, it was also just a fun way for me to get exercise and be around other people. We all started an art class during this time as well it was another activity I really enjoyed. I also started piano lessons at a friend of my mommies. This was an activity that she wanted me to try but while I enjoyed it, we decided to not have me continue as gymnastics was my favorite along with my art class. I also was being taught to sew by grandma as she and mommy said all girls need a hand craft they enjoy.
After we had been in school for several months, we took a field trip to the library. Were we each got a library card this was a big deal as I love to read. And I could now check out my own books and not need mommy to get them for me. We celebrated Halloween at Disney world during a long break when the heater at daycare broke.
When we got home mommy had to deal with a bit of a mess her shop had a flood. We were able to repair the damage thank goodness, a few days after this I earned my bible at church. We took a trip to mommies' hometown to visit family for thanksgiving. Where we found out her baby sister my auntie Katelynn was engaged to her high school sweetheart. There wedding was to be held over easter weekend and they asked me to be their flower girl. This was so exciting I can't wait to do this for them.
For Christmas we took a trip to New York with the gang where we saw lots and lots of neat things. For Christmas my big gift was a balance bike so that I could possibly ride a big kid bike at some point. We also spent 2 weeks in the mountains over new years before coming home. In January mommy and I took a special vacation to see my best friend from home for her 6th birthday. In February we had a huge blizzard and lost power for 4 days.
In March I ended up accidentally breaking 2 fingers I got them squished in grandmas van door. This month we also celebrated my aunties wedding it was beautiful. In April I found out that the gang and I were excepted to the gifted kindergarten class, this was an amazing honor as only the best students are chosen. In May we all graduated preschool and we spent our summer taking lots and lots of fun trips and seeing our country on a cross country trip. We couldn't wait to start kindergarten.
