"But i want to be King! I need to fix this!"
Kali had alot of thoughts after it was announced that Kiara and Kovu had a new heir.
With this he had two choices surrender or kill.
"Hey good morning Kali how are you in this fine morning?" Pimbi greeted
"I'm fine" Kali answered with a weak tone
"Hey Kali have you heard about the news?" Afua asked
"Yeah and i don't want to think about it" Kali replied before leaving
"Poor guy he still can't get over it" Pimbi said
"I mean can you blame him? He has a right to be angry" Afua replied
"What do you mean by that Afua?" Pimbi asked
"Like cmon we have an outsider as king! It leaves a bad taste in my mouth our best friend should be the King!" Afua replied
"Well it's not like we can do anything about it" Pimbi said
"Outsiders killed my mother and Scar killed my father i just can't accept the fact that i have to live with murderers" Afua replied
"That sucks i guess" Pimbi said
"And we can do something about it Pimbi, i know Kopa he won't give up that easily" Afua said
Pimbi sighed
"Kopa everything the light touches is our Kingdom and one day you will rule it" Simba said
"What about the dark place?" Kopa asked
"That's beyond our borders you should never go there" Simba warned
"But what if its a fun place? Is it?" Kopa asked
"No Kopa it's not a fun place infact it's a wasteland filled with hyenas you should never go there" Simba replied
"Dad can i ask you a question?" Kopa asked
"What is it kopa?" Simba replied
"Will i always be the future king?" Kopa asked
"Yes Kopa and nothing can change that" Simba replied
"Really?" Kopa asked
"Yes Kopa you are my son and the heir so you will be the future king and nothing can change that" Simba replied
"Promise?" Kopa asked
"Yes kopa i promise you will be the king" Simba chuckled
"Dad were pals right?" Kopa asked
"Yes Kopa and let me tell you what my father told me if anything bothers you just look at the stars they're the great Kings of the past and if i finally served my purpose in the circle of life i will be there watching you and you will be there too, i will always be there for you" Simba replied
Kali stood in the grasslands where he and his father used to hang out remembering some memories.
"I will always be there for you and i promise you will always be the future king" Kali mimicked
"Such nonsense" Kali said with a bitter tone
Simba went outside finding his son to talk to him and ask him how he missed his Grandson's presentation.
He always thought that his son has been acting weird lately but now that he missed his own Nephew's presentation he really needed an explanation from him.
Luckily for him he found him in his own den.
"Kopa i need an explanation why you missed such an important event" Simba asked
"My name's not Kopa" Kali replied
"I can call you whatever i want now tell me, why did you missed your nephew's presentation?" Simba demanded
"I overslept did that kovu guy not tell you?" Kali replied
"Kopa you have been acting pretty weird since i revoked your title now tell me what is the actual reason" Simba asked
Kali silently growled
"I just overslept! Is that too much to understand?!" Kali replied
"Are you still mad that i revoked your title? Is that the reason?" Simba asked
"If you want the truth.. YES yes i am!" Kali replied
"When will you ever understand that i did what i have to do? you don't have to be mad for years because of it!" Simba said
"Are you really that ignorant?" Kali asked
"What did you just say?" Simba asked
"Ever since i was a cub i admired you i thought you were the best father that i could ask for until i was gone because i was attacked by an outsider! I lost my memory and thankfully got it back after years only to come back to my home knowing that i was replaced by the same outsiders that attacked me! Do you know how that feels?!" Kali replied
Simba didn't know what to answer
"No.. no you don't because you betrayed me my own father stabbed me in the back the same father that said that he will always be with me" Kali said
"I know that sounds hard but you need to understa-"
"No i already did! I understood that you're nothing but a Liar! a traitor to his own son! You're the one that doesn't understand because you weren't replaced you would feel the same as me if Mufasa replaced you!" Kali thundered
Out of anger Simba pounced on his own son clawing his shoulder leaving another scar to his collection.
Simba was shocked on what he had just done.
"So what are you going to do now? Kill your own son?" Kali asked
Simba immediately got off and let him be free this could have ended better.
"That's what i thought i will never forget this, this scar will serve as a reminder for me that my father tried to kill me" Kali said
"No Kopa it isn't like that let me explain i didn't mean to-" Simba said
"My other scars came from an outsider that massive scar in my back? It came from an outsider the reason why i lost my right eye? It came from an outsider but this one in my shoulder it was from my own father" Kali interrupted
"Pls Kopa forgive me im sorry" Simba begged
"Just get out of my den" Kali said
Simba had no choice but to leave.
However a cobra was watching it all and he just found the right guy.
The cobra approached Kali and offered him something.
"Oh well look who it issss the well known princcceee Kopa or Kali isss it? " The cobra said
"Who are you and what is your intention on going inside my den without asking me?" Kali demanded
"The name'sss Rushwa and im here to offer you something" Rushwa said
"I'm not interested in your games now get out" Kali said
"I could give you what you want" Rushwa
"What do you mean?" Kali asked
"You want to be king and i can offer you jussst that" Rushwa said
"And what are you going to do to make me king? And just to remind you that i don't trust snakes" Kali asked
"Well looksss like you have some daddy issuesss you can just you know erassse him from existence" Rushwa said
"And why would i do that?! He is my father!" Kali said
"A father that doesssn't love you A father that betrayed you, you give him to much credit my friend" Rushwa said
"What are you trying to do? And i'm not your friend!" Kali said
"Oh Kali you already have a heart that isss dark enough to do that sso i won't give you another ssscar and deep down you know im right" Rushwa said trying to appease the Prince
"Get out don't try to get me into one of your games" Kali said
"Oh you're really that ssstubborn are you? You live in a delusional belief that one day your father will reconsider hisss choice but that will never happen! Kali you ssee dessspite everything that you've done for them love them all you want but they will always hate you and you will forever be replaced!" Rushwa said
Kali was about to answer but after thinking about it the snake was right he hated to admit it but he was right his father will never reconsider and how he got this scar is a huge reminder on why he will never be king.
His father his own family hates him there is no turning back they will never make him king they will never make him what he was supposed to be they took away his birthright.
"Yes... yes you're right my family betrayed me all of them they don't deserve me" Kali said
"Yess Kali they don't and what are you going to do about it?" Rushwa asked
"I don't know im thinking about it if i try to overthrow my so called father they're alot of obstacles that new heir... the lion guard and hell the tree of life will be a big threat for me if i do such a thing!" Kali replied
"Well looks like you have to do my plan" Rushwa said
"What is your plan?" Kali asked
"First we strike at the roots... We will take away the new heir and raise that cub to be one of us" Rushwa replied
"How are we supposed to do that? Priderock is well guarded and im not raising some cub!" Kali said
"Well you better think about it but this would be the only way if you do this someone will finally be able to feel what was it like to get there birthright taken away so you better think how you'll pull this off" Rushwa said
Kali thought it was a good idea after all what is the best way to get revenge other than taking someone's birthright away just like what happened to him?
"I'll do it and i have the best plan to pull it off" Kali announced
"And what is it prince?" Rushwa asked
"First ill need some help" Kali said
