"'Yum..' Satsuki humms in delight, wistfully placing a hand over her cheeks under her paper bag." As Ruri was eating to her heart's content alongside the squirrel-like Uiharu-san, and Saten-san who was besides them, only looked curiously towards Railgun and the teleporter, she wasn't even curious about her senpai's face anymore, too busy observing the antics of the Tokiwada students in front of her.

"It's nice, isn't it?" Uiharu-san says abruptly, while Saten-san only gives a puzzled look.

"About Misaka-san, even though she's different from the other ojou- sama's, she's actually very approachable, and Siegel-san may be the same as well."

And Ruri who had heard Uiharu's assessment, nodded slowly.

"'True. As I said earlier, never judge a book by its cover.' Satsuki adds, smugly thinking about how Satsuki's point was proven." Saten-san, skeptical of their claims, turns to the seemingly violent Railgun and the overly pushy Shirai-san.

"I'm not completely sure, though," she admitted hesitantly. But as she made eye contact with Mikoto, she was taken aback when the level 5 approached her and offered the crepe in hand.

"Here," Mikoto says to Saten-san, smiling.

Not understanding her actions, Saten-san simply gave a "Hu..h?"

"Would you like a taste?" the chestnut-haired girl clarified, slightly waving the crepe in her hand. "Have a bite, as a thanks for earlier you know?"

"ONEE-SAMA!!??" A piercing scream rang out, and everyone tilted their heads to look at Shirai-san's panicked expression. "E-even though I'm right here... You'd rather have an indirect kiss from Saten-san than from me!??!"

Saten-san couldn't help but smile wryly as the two of them descended into their usual antics.

"I don't think I could handle your friend... Uiharu.. wait... Senpai.. are you filming this.." Saten-san turned her head, noticing her senpai's phone was directed at the scene, noticing her gaze, Ruri only nodded casually, and brought up a hand towards where her mouth is supposed to be, and shhh's her.

"'It's amusing, Saten-san, so don't spoil such a natural scene.' says Satsuki with a straight face."

'Natural..??' The long ravenette thought incredulously at that and couldn't help commenting about her sense of humour.

"..You, really do like comedy, huh, Senpai." Was Saten-san's only reply to that strange statement. Remembering the times when Uiharu and her would see their senpai alone. They sometimes secretly watch their senpai's reaction, shoulders trembling uncontrollably when senpai was watching something on her phone. Despite this, her tone remained as monotonous as ever. Even her laugh was still monotone, which was ironic at how much she enjoys it.

When Saten-san turns around, she notices the seemingly distracted Uiharu. But, before she could ask, her senpai had already beaten her to the punch.

"'... Uiharu-san... Are you distracted?' Satsuki asked in doubt, unsure of why Uiharu-san is looking at some Bank." Her question was a little abrupt, making Uiharu-san jump a little at being found out.

"Hu..! Oh.. I just noticed that Bank over there, is all." Uiharu-san hastily pointed out, looking at a nearby Bank that was closed in broad daylight. "Why would the security shutters be down if it is still morning?" she wondered, squinting at the Bank. Her Judgement sense was tingling, but she has no idea why.

Until, the shutters slowly but steadily burst out of their hinges, and Uiharu-san finally realized the problem.

A Bank robbery.

Boooom!!

.

.

As the cries of the people and the sound of the alarm rang out, Shirai-san and Mikoto dashed forward towards the bench where the trio was sitting.

Shirai-san leaps to her feet, casting a quick glance at the three Sakugawa students. She sighed in relief as she saw no injuries.

"Uiharu! Quick, contact Anti-Skill now and see if anyone is injured, please." she said, pulling something from her pockets while still in mid jump.

"H-hai!" The flower head responded quickly with a firm nod, rousing Saten-san from her stupor. Mikoto attempts to join Shirai-san but is stopped by the latter.

"No, onee-sama. You stay here," Shirai-san said, turning her back to the group and placing the band she had fished out on her right shoulder. "Our job as Judgement officers is to keep the public safe for everyone." she said as she turned her head and smiled at everyone. "Please behave yourself this time."

Mikoto sighed and just gave up after noticing her seriousness and smiled at her roommate.

All while this was happening, Ruri couldn't help but be starstruck at their actions.

Seeing it was one thing, but seeing it in person was an entirely different experience. If this had happened to her when she was their age, she would have been a sobbing mess! What a capable bunch of teenagers...!

And while this was wrong on so many levels, such as putting kids at risk, she can't fully deny that it was so freakin' cool to watch.

Sure, she knew that she could help out. After all, the Goddess was kind enough to teach them one type of battle style and even assigned a fellow reincarnator from her branch to support them in understanding this world. Her gift, however, will never be OP. She only gave them some information, but ultimately, it will be up to their actions and mind to continue living in such a dangerous world.

Her second term was like that too.

"I will make sure that you all are taken care of, giving you lessons in offense and defense and even assigning someone to be a sort of guardian to you all, but do not think of this as a way to test my generosity. I care for all of my reincarnators as a whole, but if you dare not follow all of my terms with an act of arrogance, I will use my tittle as Anarchy to make those who defied me to suffer in eternity."

That's Zügellosigkeit's term number 2, but it was more like a naked threat than anything else.

'But... Being involved...' Ruri pondered, troubled. 'While it's good to help people, especially the main characters that I know and love. To be honest, I would rather keep it hidden than attract the attention of a curious eye. I need to keep Hime-sama from doing anything she might regret or really a stupid move and need to help Walter with it too. Shinetsu-san, too... Our 'current' guardian, I think he'll blow a blood vessel when he knows I got semi-involved.'

.

.

.

"Senpai?"

"'Huh..?' Mi-... Satsuki exclaimed, perplexed at being disturbed." Tilting her head, Ruri noticed the concerned looks from Saten-san, Uiharu-san, and even her Mikoto-nee.

Saten-san however just sighs relievedly when her senpai finally answered. "You went quiet all of a sudden, and Uiharu here thought you gone into shock. Even I thought that, heh, and here you are, a level 4, being spooked by an explosion." She meant it as a joke, but Ruri could not help but recall a Certain explosion when relieving one of Hime-sama's memories.

"'Explosions are really no laughing matter.' Satsuki decided to say such cryptic words, remembering a bad memory that relates to a specific scene Satsuki had witnessed." Then Ruri realized she had said too much, so she shook her head rapidly, nearly knocking out her own paper bag with her momentum. "'It's a joke; do not get too worked up over Satsuki's words.'"

But they didn't believe her words, however. Actually, in Mikoto's case, she was understandable skeptical of Ruri when she saw her hiding her face at first, plus she did film her with Kuroko like that, so she was wary of her. But after spending time with and hearing her... Talking and acting in an unusual manner that seems to always spill the beans about everything she do and say... Railgun had subconsciously formed an image in her mind. Uiharu-san and Saten-san felt the same way.

They all assumed that Satsuki hides her face because she was scarred from a horrible accident, and that the way she speaks seems to be a coping mechanism.

As a result, everyone resolved to treat their senpai/friend with compassion.

Not realizing that they were hugely misunderstood.

And Ruri, the idiot who caused the misunderstanding, did not seem to notice their pitying look.

"Hey, it's okay." Mikoto broke her gaze as she firmly held Ruri's shoulder in determination whilst the one who was suddenly receiving such a reassurance only gave an expression of: ????. "We understand, so don't worry. If those robbers lay a single strand on you, I'll roast them into oblivion."

'..?' Ruri thought in puzzlement.

"Um...! As a Judgement Officer myself, I will gladly hack into their personal system and link all their embarrassing search histories and secrets to the web!" Uiharu-san joins in after finishing reporting their situation to the Anti-Skill.

'...hmmm???' Ruri became perplexed and concerned.

"Ah-! Me too Senpai! I'll gladly stop harassing your cute looking paper bag and keep those bullies from school away too!" Saten-san also added her promise with a guilty smile.

'....I like it...Yeah... But why, though? ' Ruri was mystified by their bizarre behavior.

.

.

.

.

.

"Grrrrgh..!?"

But their antics were quickly put on hold when they saw Kuroko or Shirai-san easily took down a man.

"Gaaahh..!"

"Sugoi..." Saten-san was gobsmacked by the scene. When she saw her new acquaintance's amazing moves, she quickly forgot her promise to her senpai. But... Ruri, who only saw two men being apprehended... Her brow furrowed.

She remembered that in the anime, Kuroko apprehended exactly three men... But why were there only two now?

Did she simply forget? Or was it just two in the light novel? Perhaps this version of Index or Railgun was not what she expected?

It's been a long time, so it's only reasonable that she forgets some few details.

... Or what if the story changed somewhat?

"Well, that is just how Kuroko is," Mikoto proudly says, unintentionally breaking Ruri's focus as Railgun crosses her arms in front of Saten-san. Also, empress by Kuroko's ability.

As the three of them watches Kuroko taking down the robbers, Uiharu-san notices a lady in a uniform glancing around. Worried that the lady might get caught in the cease fire, the Judgment officer tried to persuade her to leave.

"Miss.. you can't stay here it's dangerous."

But the flower girl was taken aback when the lady tried to get away from her.

Uiharu-san tried again, a little desperate by how the lady was quick to dismissed her attempts to lead the panicked lady out.

"No.. you can't! You need to leave now.."

"But—!" The lady shouted in protest, having earned the trio's attention from the back.

Before the lady could elaborate, somebody was already walking beside them.

"What's the matter?" Mikoto asked with a small frown as Ruri and Saten-san were behind the Tokiwadai Ace, as both the lady and Uiharu-san swiveled their heads towards her. Getting away from Uiharu's grip, the lady instantly explains with an anxious tone.

"One of our boys... a passenger, is currently missing."

Both Mikoto and Saten-san gasped at that, as Ruri was surveying their surroundings quickly. Trying to find the boy before he may get hurt, she can't really be all that relaxed either.

While she knew the outcome of the anime, But because of the shift she noticed, Ruri became scared when the direction might change. In this world, they're maybe some reincarnators mucking up the storyline like she did well... Now.

So... The story may not follow the cannon anymore.

And that's what worries her the most. So, unnoticed by anyone, she attempted to locate the boy in his likely hiding place alone.

But when Ruri passed a bush, it suddenly shook. Confused, she reached out a hand, hoping it was the boy she was looking for, but she was stopped when a strong grip suddenly latches on her hand. Before she could scream, an elbow encircled her neck, causing her to fall towards the bush. Keeping her from screaming because she's too busy choking.

"'gh...!'" Ruri chokes as the grip on her tightens. She was forced to sit down while the man grabbed her painfully.

'The freak... Again!!!' the clone thought indignantly at the somehow familiar situation she was now subjected to.

"Shit... Shit... Fuck... This was supposed to be an easy gig!" The man, the third man who should have had his ass handed to him, was here! "Ghr... Stupid espers! Gah... Stupid Judgement brats...!" the dirty blonde haired man cursed, then smiled down at his hostage. "Hehehe... Good thing I am here... Of course I am the smart one, having a level 5 esper being a Judgment, now that is a flag. Hidings the best get-away, and having a hostage, I might just get out of this by the skin of my teeth!"

'Shit... If my powers weren't related to stupid science or calculations... I would really wanna run you dry until you faint!' Ruri thought angrily. Knowing how dangerous her powers could be if she couldn't control how much energy she can take from this scum without killing him. 'I-I don't want to kill... I don't but... Damn.. I really wish I could do something without killing him but my headgear isn't on me..'

Because she was... Terrible with math and science when she was still going to school and even now, the Goddess tinkered with the orinignal clone's headgear to instead see a persons energy requirements. Like that of their information, but the sad factor is...

That, while the headgear will give the information about the victims age, weight, height.. ultimately, it's up to Ruri who needs to calculate it all down with her basics smarts. Shinetsu-san was kind enough to help her with it's formula but she couldn't really just wiped out the answers while in the middle of a crisis.

She really envys Hime-sama being a prodigy and a genius.

"Kids are strange this days, what's up with this bag of yours? To afraid to show your ugly face?" The man still had the audacity to tease her paperbag while Ruri flushed at his words.

She really wish this kind of situation wouldn't happen again...

"Satsuki-senpai!" Uiharu-san exclaimed behind the bus parked nearby, as everyone began to search not only for the missing boy, but also for their missing senpai/friend.

"Geez... It is bad enough that the boy was missing, and now Satsuki too!" grumbled Mikoto, looking around in frustration. "Where have they gone...?"

Saten-san who was currently crouching down heard a shout and look surprise when she noticed a man grabbing a boy hiding behind the hedge.

Saten-san shifted her gaze from the bus where both Uiharu and Mikoto were to the struggling boy.

But her hesitation subsided immediately. "..I gotta.. do something!" Determined, Saten-san started standing up and preparing to intervene.

So when everyone heard shouting at the distance, they all had witness seeing a Saten-san struggling pulling in a boy as the robbers cohort pulled back.

"Dammit...! Let go!" the man yelled in rage, and seeing that everyone was staring at him, he panicked and kicked the girl away, along with the boy she had grabbed, as the man dashed towards his car.

"Saten-san!!" Uiharu-san exclaimed in concern as Mikoto's eye widened in response to the harsh kick. Kuroko almost transported to where Saten-san was when Mikoto abruptly shouted, inrage.

"Kuroko!!" The level 4 looked sheepishly at her beloved onee-sama. She already realizes what she is going to do next.

"From here on out... This situation had gotten personal..." Mikoto says menacingly as smoke from the bank covers her figure. "I am sorry to interfere while you are on the job, but I will need to."

Railgun glared into the distance, static covering her body as Kuroko let out a sound. And the man she had apprehended not long ago, an esper, shuddered as he realized who they were dealing with.

"I-I just remembered something... If you're caught by a Judgment... Then you're basically done for, thanks to a demon teleporter who will trample your body in pain and such you will never stand up again..." He whispered out in terror as Kuroko stared at the man blankly. "In addition, a powerful electromaster has bound the teleporter's mind and heart."

As he said this, his cohort finally began to drive, and Mikoto took out a simple coin.

The man behind the wheel sneered as he noticed the girl in the middle of the road.

"Since you want to go so badly, I'll gladly take you down with me!"

Kuroko smiled as she noticed Mikoto performing her signature move.

"Your right," she says to the terrified man. "That girl there is part of Academy City's peak of 23 million people, the third rank alongside Prinzessin among the 8 level fives espers..."

Mikoto took aim while her coin was still flipping in the air, as electricity crackled beside her. Waiting... She then shoots by flicking her thumbs when the coin finally lands.

The force with which the coin flew towards the car was so powerful that the wind around her roared, and below the coin, the street crumbled and cracked as dust and light followed.

The coin exploded as it struck the man's car, causing him to scream. The car flew over Mikoto in midair after flipping at the force.

As Kuroko proudly finishes her statement with a beaming smile. "The Railgun, Misaka Mikoto my beloved onee-sama, the pride of Tokiwadai middle school!"

The hostage and the kidnapper who witnessed the scene began to gape in turn. Ruri could also feel the man behind her trembling quite a bit now, and she realized that her kidnapper was caught off guard.

So she took a gamble and ran away quickly, breaking the man's grip. To her surprise, the man tried to catch up her while pulling a gun, but because of Ruri's actions, it drew Uiharu's attention to her which made her feel a little respite.

"Senpai!!!" Uiharu-san screamed in panic as she saw her senpai being pursued as the man behind her began rummaging in his pockets, and seeing a gun, Saten-san paled.

Mikoto and Kuroko were stunned when another cohort appeared, and seeing the man preparing to shoot their friend, they moved quickly.

"... Dammit..!!! Satsuki look out!" With no time to waste, Railgun and Shirai-san rushed to use their powers, but before she could aim and Kuroko could teleport, the environment around them darkened. Making the man with the gun come to a halt at the change.

Everyone was taken aback and Ruri... Who knows this change let out a relieved smile and slumped down, making the man even more baffled by her sudden relaxation.

"Hey!! You brat you thi-" But before the robber could finish his sentence, five purple lights appeared in his vision. Squinting at it, he realizes the light appears to be heading towards him.

Fearful, he abandoned his plan to shoot the brat in favor of fleeing. However, the light... Looking closely, the electric arrows were still moving... Following him everywhere, making him sweat.

"What... The... This... Move, it— it can't be...!" he stuttered in fear. "Prinze— gaaaaAHHHHHHH!"

Due to his slow reaction time, all five arrows struck him directly in the chest. Each one exploded in electricity, piercing every nerve in his body and causing him to suffer excruciating pain.

Following the attack, thunder suddenly erupted above him as purple-colored feathers began to fall. The man twitched whenever one of the feathers came close by and eventually passed out, much to the surprise of Uiharu-san and Saten-san.

Mikoto, who was able to see everything, turned to a particular building and, upon spotting a familiar face, sighed with relief. She then allowed herself to be overcome by the stress she had been feeling today. Suddenly regretting that their day suddenly went like this.

Besides the stressed Mikoto, Shirai-san just grinned when everything is fine. Finally.

"And would you look at that, the other 3rd rank, the one who tied with onee-sama, Prinzessin has finally grace us with her presence." She then slumped after saying that. "Good thing I invited her.. who knows what would happen to Satsuki-san if I don't."

"Ditto." Mikoto replied wryly.

Fischl, who was still tightly holding her bow, sighed as she looked down from atop an arbitrary building. Trying hard in concealing the trembling of her hands and legs with a brave face.

She called out from a distance, unaware that she was not even remotely heard. "Huu... My most faithful retainer... I really do not know if fate has favored you or haveth cursed you. B-but worry not for your Prinzessin is here to triumph over thy unfortunate circumstances!"

".."

"...Mein Fräulein, I think we need to get closer for your proclamation to be heard." Walter couldn't help but commented as Fischl's face burn bright red.

"I-I know that!!"

"And... You shouldn't hide the fact that you were actually scared. You are still young Mein Fräulein, it's not good to hide your emotions li—"

"I know okay, I know that too!!"

As the sirens and the sound of a flashing camera were heard, Uiharu-san finally finished her report over her Seniors as the Anti-Skill took the criminals away.

While this was going on, Ruri was bowing her head towards Fischl while receiving scrutiny for her careless behavior.

"I couldn't believe you.. Ru-chan?! What would happen if you were hurt badly!"

"'Mi—Satsuki... Knows.. ' Satsuki solemnly replied as she continue to bow her head, noting that Hime-sama was scolding Satsuki without being a chuuni for once."

Having been reminded unintentionally in public, Fischl flushed and started coughing at her blunder.

"What... I mean... er... As your superior, I would like you to report to thy Prinzessin for such behavior! Honestly... My second retainer... You are such a fool; it is good that you have me, your benelovent leader, to guide you on your journey of misfortune!"

"So your Prinzessin... huh?" Someone interrupts as Fischl spins around to face Saten-san's curious eyes, Uiharu-san's admiration, Mikoto's slight eye twitch, and Kuroko's head being covered with Railgun's hair.

"Er.. Yes indeed, I am Fischl Siegel, the reborn Prinzessin der Verurteilungal." Fischl curtsy in a dramatic fashion as Uiharu-san in the background stared at her with stars.

"Fischl... Sounds foreign. And by your close relationship... You and senpai seem to be comfortable with each other." Saten-san, who has learned a little from this encounter, began to be casual with everyone.

"Hmm... You could conclude that, after all, my retainer and I share the most sacred bonds! Through life and death, we are forever bound to thy contract of fate!"

"'... Hime-sama means we're more like family.' Satsuki interpreted with a smile as she side hug Satsuki's stubborn Hime-sama."

"Hime-sama.." Mikoto whispered out with a weird look but then shook her head in disbelief at Ruri. "...wait you can understand what's she spouting about??"

"'Yes... Believe it or not Mikot-...to.. she's actually a shy—'" but Ruri didn't finish her assertion when Fischl abruptly blocked her mouth with both of her hands.

"Whoops..! Look at the time! We better get going now." Fischl says with a hurried look not noticing that she was slipping her away from her chuuni way of speaking. As her one eye shift rather suspiciously from side to side. "Kihara-sama may become angry at us for being late so we'll bid you adieu for now." Then grabbing Ruri's arm, she quite literally dragged Ruri out as Mikoto couldn't help but frown at her quickly departing back.

.

.

.

.

"Kihara... Why do I feel like that name means trouble.." but before she could think anymore, Kuroko, from her back suddenly made a fuss.

"Nononono!!!! Onee-sama!! Why didn't you reprimanded Satsuki-san from calling your first name like that!??!

"...eeh... It's fine.. I'll just call her by her first name instead so we're even." Mikoto didn't see the big deal so she shrugged and Kuroko did not like that.

"Haaah! I will not accept such casual thing!!"

"Geez Kuroko.." As both of them descended towards their usual antics, that leaves both Saten-san and Uiharu-san by their thoughts.

"Saten-san! Saten-san... Fischl-san seems to be..no.. is like an ojou-sama, right?!!" Uiharu-san excitedly exclaimed as the girl smile wryly.

"Yeah... Though.. I'll admit... Seeing senpai acting like that.. I can't really help but be curious of their past."

"Yeah.. but you know Saten-san, it may be a heavy topic."

Shrugging, Saten-san waves her hand. "I know, I know... But I could wait for senpai to say it. I mean... Aren't we already becoming friends?"

Thinking about everything that happened, Uiharu-san smiled.

"I believe we are all already friends with them."

Extra:

"You are late," says a tall intimidating man with sleek back hair, a lab coat over his black sweater, and blood red eyes, as opposed to a certain Goddess's pale red eyes.

"... Kihara-sama... we are humbled and ashamed of our tardiness, but do not worry! My retainer has a good excuse!" Fischl presented her ex-nanny to the frightening scientist with jazz hands.

Kihara-san, somehow just felt a little tired after noticing a mischievous glint in those rather dead-eyes of the clone. (who took her paperbag out of her face.)

"'It is okay, Shinetsu-chi. Misaka has secured Misaka's phone in filming Mikoto-nee's and Shirai-san's scandalous acts together, so we have no problem with entertainment right now.' Misaka smiles with a grin."

As Fischl sweatdrops at Kihara-sama's deadpanned expression, which rivals Ruri's expression.

The man, Kihara Shinetsu, gave the clone a raise of eyebrow and simply says.

"... What..?"
