Deku looked up at Shinso. He had never seen his classmate look this tortured. Hadn't he just used his quirk to seduce Reiko?
You'd think he'd be happy about that.
"What the hell is going on?" Deku asked, making a point to show his displeasure. This was not the Shinso he had grown to respect.
At this point, he wasn't ruling out a shapeshifter.
"I-I don't know how this happened." Shinso was crestfallen. "One minute we were studying, and the next minute…I think I'm being mind controlled."
"Wait how does that even work? Considering your quirk…" Deku was fascinated.
Shinso showed him the ring. "It made me do those things. I'm surprised I'm coherent with you right n—"
The ring had vanished.
"It's…on my finger…" Deku whispered.
He examined it. "Hm. I kinda like it."
