After the party, Trixie returned to her house, still laughing at the prank she played on Timmy and his friends, and as stated earlier, she came in one car and all the gifts she got came in another, but when she got home, she saw a lot of strange people carrying a lot of boxes, suddenly one of the cooks saw the girl and told her that her father was waiting for her.

Cook: Ma'am, your father is waiting for you in the living room, unfortunately things don't look good.

She then went to the living room, and saw her father there, he looked sad.

Trixie: Dad, w... what's going on?

Trixie's dad sighed for a while, and told her the whole truth.

Trixie's Dad: Sweetie, I... I didn't want you to find out like this but... unfortunately I couldn't pay the bank loan and, the company went bankrupt, the bank is confiscating all our stuff to pay the debt, we have to leave this house today and...

It was then that a man approached them and said:

Man (to Trixie): Would you mind giving me these jewelry? We've already confiscated all the jewelry in this house, the only ones missing are the ones you're wearing.

Reluctantly, Trixie did as the man told her and a few minutes later, she and her father had to leave the house, and just like that, overnight, Trixie went from being the richest and most popular girl in town to an average teenage girl. that no one understands.

They were forced to move into a small apartment, by small I mean smaller than their old bathroom, not only that, but practically nothing worked right, the fridge, the shower, nothing, when they arrived at their new home they went to sleep, but when Trixie woke up, the first thing she did was yell at her father.

Trixie: WHAT KIND OF FATHER ARE YOU? HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME? WHAT AM I GOING TO DO NOW?

Trixie's Dad: Now, we're going to have to work together, I'll try to get a job today, and you should do the same.

Trixie: A job?

Trixie panicked when she heard that word, she didn't know how to do anything, she never needed to, after all she always had a lot of people doing everything for her.

Trixie's Dad: Don't worry, I'm sure you'll do well, and I have a good idea where you can work.

Trixie: No no, that's a bad idea, don't worry dad, I'll get us out of this.

Trixie's idea was obvious, she would call Tad and Chad for help.

Trixie: Hello, Tad, Chad, so my dad and I are having some... financial problems, I was wondering if any of you can help us?

Tad: Trixie, you're poor now, how are you supposed to pay us back?

Trixie: What? no, i will pay, i promise.

Chad: Look, I have a better idea, go look for new friends that suit better your new financial situation.

Tad: That's right, don't contact us anymore.

They hang up the phone, and Trixie looks at her dad.

Trixie: So... tell me more about my new job?!

So he took the girl to a restaurant, not the same one she was at for her birthday, but another restaurant, he was then greeted by a short, Italian guy with a mustache who smiled upon seeing them.

?: Buongiorno, old buddy, nice to see you here, what can I do for you today?

Trixie's Dad: It's nice to see you again Mario, actually today we didn't come here to eat, we're having some financial problems so I was wondering if you have a job for my little girl?

Mario: Well, we were really in need of waiters here.

Trixie didn't like hearing her dad's idea, of course she knew she would have to get a job at some point, but the waitress job wasn't exactly what she imagined, not to mention she was only 16, but in the situation she was in, that was the only option she had.

Trixie: I... I accept, when do I start?

Mario: You can start this afternoon.

Trixie's Dad: That's a great idea, meanwhile I'll try to get my own job, see you tonight, sweetie.

He leaves the restaurant and goes looking for a job, meanwhile, Mario talks to Trixie.

Mario: So young lady, the first thing you need to know is...

Trixie: Thanks but I don't need any tips, anyone can serve food.

Mario just nods and enters the kitchen.

Mario (in her head): I tried to warn her... well, she'll figure it out on her own.

When Trixie enters the kitchen as well, she sees several other waiters.

Waiter 1: Wow, what have we here?

Waitress 1: If it's not that girl who always treated us badly when she came here with her father.

Waiter 2: Now the tables have turned honey, you're in our world now.

It was then that Trixie realized that she was not welcome there, and there was no use in her arguing with them, she was outnumbered there, seeing the girl's face, Mario laughed lightly and said:

Mario: Welcome to the real world, it stinks, you'll love it.

And just like that, Trixie got to work, and surprisingly she was doing well.

Until at one moment, she was serving a couple's order, but she ended up stumbling and dropping the food.

Waiter 1 (mocking her): You're not very good at this, are you?

Trixie panicked, not knowing what to do.

Waiter 2: Now you have to go to the kitchen and explain the chef what happened.

Trixie: Can any of you guys go instead?

Waiter 2: Look, I could, there's just one tiny little problem, I don't wanna!

Waitress 1: You dropped the food, it's your responsibility.

Trixie went to the kitchen to tell Mario about what had happened, luckily he wasn't as angry as she thought.

Mario: Alright, it's your first day, I'll prepare another one.

Sometime later, she continued serving other tables, until at one point, a guy she had just served called out to her.

Man: I'm sorry but that's not what I ordered.

A guy at the other table heard this and said:

Guy from the other table: Hey, I didn't get what I ordered either.

Trixie was embarrassed to hear that, she had gotten mixed up in the orders.

Trixie: Sorry, sorry, I made a mistake.

She switched the orders back, and the customers seemed satisfied, but Mario's patience was starting to wear thin.

Mario: If you weren't your father's daughter...

Trixie's first day at work continued, sometimes she served the right orders, but sometimes she made mistakes like dropping the food, or bringing the wrong order and when that happened the other waiters and waitresses didn't miss the opportunity to make fun of her, but overall, it wasn't as bad as she'd expected, at least until THEY arrived at the restaurant.

Trixie (in her head): Oh no, it's Turner and his friends, if they see me here after what I did to them, they'll make fun of me so much, I'll be a laughing stock forever.

While they weren't the worst people she'd expected at the restaurant, without a doubt, Timmy and the others were people Trixie didn't want to see, so she tried to get another waiter to serve that table.

Trixie: Hey... can you do me a favor and serve table 8?

Waiter 1: You mean the table with the bucktooth boy, the bald boy and the one with the braces?

Trixie: Exactly, please do this for me, I'll do anything...

Waiter 1: You look desperate...

Trixie: Yes please, I'll do anything.

Waiter 1: Well, let me see, What's the word I'm looking for... NO! good luck.

She even tried talking to the other waiters, but their answer was the same, so she went over to the table where Timmy and the others were.

Trixie (hoping they didn't recognize her): Hello, I'm goinna be your waitress today...

Unfortunately, her efforts to not be recognized were futile as AJ recognized her right away.

AJ: Wait, I know you... Trixie Tang?!

Trixie: No, I'm her cousin Tri...ni...

Timmy: Look, never mind that, I haven't decided exactly what I want yet, can you come back in a while?

Trixie just nodded and walked away, meanwhile, Timmy and his friends started talking.

Timmy: What happened, why is Trixie working as a waitress?

AJ: That's a good question.

Chester: And you know what they say, for every good question, television has the answer.

They look at the TV in the restaurant, and it was conveniently breaking the news about what happened to Trixie's family.

Chet: This is Chet Ubetcha saying that overnight, the Tang family, the wealthiest in Dimmsdale lost their fortune, it seems that it all started when Trixie's dad couldn't pay the bank a loan he took to pay for the party and the birthday gift from his daughter Trixie, and now, for all we know, they're living in an apartment in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Dimmsdale, and Trixie is working as a waitress at a local restaurant to help pay the bills.

Hearing that, everyone in the restaurant started laughing at Trixie, including the other waiters, everyone except Timmy, she felt humiliated and left immediately, Chester and AJ were still laughing when Timmy scolded them.

Timmy: Hey, stop laughing at her.

AJ: Timmy, what's up with you? we finally have the perfect opportunity to get back at her for what she did.

Chester: Yeah, that's way better than if a meteor had landed wherever she was having that party.

Timmy: Guys, don't you understand? I agree that she has done horrible things to us for several years, mostly to me, but that doesn't mean we have to make fun of her while she's trying to earn her money honestly, look at me, no one would have more reasons to be mad at her than me, but i'm better than that, she's going through a rough time in her life, and the last thing she needs is people like you being jerks to her.

For a minute, it looked like Chester and AJ understood what Timmy meant, but then...

Chester and AJ: Great, he hasn't given up on her yet...

Trixie had left in such a hurry that she didn't even notice that Timmy had defended her, she went back to her apartment and a few hours later her dad had arrived home, when he arrived, he heard her voice in the bathroom.

Trixie: DANG IT! stupid toilet!

When he got home he went to the bathroom to see what was going on.

Trixie's Dad: Trixie, is there a problem?

Trixie: The toilet was clogged, I had to clean the whole bathroom, with my own hands, can you believe it? (she looked surprised that she was able to do this)

Trixie's Dad: Well unfortunately I didn't get any job today, how was your first day?

Trixie: Dad, I can't, I just can't, I swear I tried to do my best, but this job is not for me, I won't be able to do it, tomorrow I'll go there and resign.

Trixie's dad looked disappointed, but he tried to hide it for his daughter's sake.

Trixie's Dad: No problem sweetie, I think I can handle this myself for now, all I want is for you to be okay so now I'm going to the bathroom, and then we can sleep, I'm leaving early tomorrow to look for a job.

Saying that, he went into the bathroom, while Trixie stayed in bed thinking about her old life, but after a few minutes she heard a sound coming from the bathroom, curious she decided to investigate.

As she got closer, she saw that the sound was actually her father, he was crying.

Trixie's Dad (crying all the time): Where did I go wrong?... I've tried to be the best father to her since my wife's death, I always wanted the best for my daughter, and now, because of me, we're in this situation… How could I have failed so badly, especially after telling Trixie that I would always be by her side?

It was only then, upon hearing what Trixie realized how selfish she was being, and also how much her father had done for her all these years, she even remembered something that happened when she was 5 years old:

Trixie's Flashback:

This was right after Trixie's mom died, she and her father were at her wake, and Trixie was crying inconsolably, she was with her father, and even though he was sad too, he was trying to be strong, for her.

Trixie's dad (hugging his daughter and trying to calm her down): Don't worry sweetie, everything will be okay, I'm here with you, and I always will be.

End of flashback

Trixie (in her head): That's right, you've always been with me, by my side...

If her father had done all this for her for all these years, now it was time for her to repay him, she had to help him as much as he helped her, and that's what she's going to do.

Later, when her father entered the room:

Trixie: Dad, I thought about it again and I decided that I won't quit tomorrow, today was just my first day, and I'm sure I can do it.

Hearing that, her father smiled.

Trixie's Dad: Wow, I know how hard this must have been for you, I'm proud of you sweetie.

Just before they went to sleep, Trixie said something she hadn't said in a long time.

Trixie: I love you dad.

Trixie's Dad: I love you too.
