That same week, Timmy invited Trixie to go to the movies with him, they had been hanging out together this week and were now officially boyfriend and girlfriend, Timmy was very happy that he would finally introduce Trixie to his friends, so here they were, at the movies.
Trixie: This is going to be great, for the first time I don't have to dress up as a boy to see a movie like this, and even better, this time I have a friend to watch with me.
Timmy: Let's just wait a little longer, I called Chester and AJ, they really wanted to see this movie too.
Trixie: Okay then...
Trixie didn't want to admit it, but she didn't want to see Chester and AJ, part of that was because she didn't know how they would react to knowing what was going on between her and Timmy, but also the fact that the last time she saw them they were very mean to her, and while that doesn't compare to everything Trixie did to them, it was far from necessary.
After a few minutes, Chester and AJ arrived too, but they weren't happy to see Trixie.
Chester: What is SHE doing here?
Timmy: I invited her, I told you I was bringing a girl.
AJ: Yeah, but we thought it was just one of your little jokes.
Timmy: I don't make jokes, Chester does.
Chester: He got you there, but Timmy, how could you bring her?
Timmy: Look guys, I know we've had issues with Trixie in the past, but she's changed, she's a good person, and if you give her a chance you'll realize that.
AJ: Well, it would be easier for us to give her a chance if she hadn't treated us like trash all these years.
Timmy was about to say something, but Trixie cut him off.
Trixie: No Timmy, I guess I have to take care of this, Chester, AJ, I'm sorry for all the things I've done to you, I swear if I could go back in time I would do everything differently.
AJ: Oh yeah, as if we didn't know, look here girl, you might be able to fool Timmy, but you can't fool us by pretending to be nice.
Chester: Exactly, you've mistreated us all for several years, now that your perfect little life is over, you come crying to us looking for someone to help you, no way Jose.
Seeing a tear running down his girlfriend's face, Timmy couldn't take it anymore, and just like that day at the restaurant he scolded his friends.
Timmy: Chester, AJ, STOP IT! She's not like she used to be, I understand your being mad at her, but SOMEDAY you WILL have to get over it, you're acting like children, you...
Trixie: No Timmy, it's okay, they never liked me, and that's not going to change...
Saying that, Trixie left.
Timmy: Wait, what about the movie?
Trixie: The three of you can watch it alone...
She leaves the theater and Timmy glares at Chester and AJ.
Timmy: I hope you're happy with what you've done.
Chester: Timmy, Timmy, Timmy, you may not understand it now, but one day you'll thank us for that.
Timmy: NO! Chester, that's exactly how those assholes in the popular group act, and since you're acting like that, you're an asshole too, (he looks at AJ) and so are you, and so was I... Well, at least I wanted to be, but the truth is that Trixie is not like them, she has done some bad things to all of us, but now, she is suffering too, suffering at the hands of those who also tormented us for several years, so if we are going to accept someone else in our group so we can get through this together, as friends, so we're going to be assholes if we don't!
Timmy walked out of the theater angrily, he didn't even care about the movie anymore, he was upset with his friends, and it was only then that Chester and AJ realized how wrong they were, they never imagined how much Trixie was suffering with her new life, and certainly they weren't helping anything by acting like that, and thanks to that attitude they almost lost their best friend, they then made an important decision.
A few days later Trixie was working at the diner, when Chester and AJ showed up she wasn't happy to see them but it was her job so she went to serve them.
Trixie: Okay, let the insults begin...
Chester: Trixie, actually we came here to say, we're sorry...
AJ: Yeah, Timmy made us realize that the way we were acting with you wasn't right, and if you're that important to him, we'd be happy to have you in our group.
Trixie: Why did you suddenly change your mind?
Chester: As we said before, Timmy made us open our eyes, and we realized that you're more than a girlfriend to him, you're also a friend.
AJ: And the friend of my friend is my friend, so again... we're sorry...
Trixie: I'm sorry too, I've done a lot of horrible things to you, it makes perfect sense for you to be mad at me.
Chester: Apology accepted, so, think we can be friends now?
Trixie: Of course, everything is fine between us.
Suddenly Tad, Chad, Veronica and Remy enter the restaurant.
AJ: Oh great, these guys...
Trixie: Don't worry about them, we have someone in the kitchen who takes care of customers like them.
Chester: What are you...
Suddenly the rich kids see Trixie talking to Chester and AJ, and of course they wouldn't miss the opportunity to make fun of her.
Tad: Look bro, looks like Trixie followed our advice after all, check out her new friends, they're perfect for her.
Trixie: Yeah, and I appreciate that advice, because these are WAY better than my old friends.
Chad: Oh really? so now I think it's time for you to wear braces, or shave your head, just like your friends.
AJ: Leave her alone you morons.
Remy: What did you say?
Trixie: You know, when I first started working as a waitress I was terrible at it, but now a lot of people say I've gotten better, see, I brought Chester and AJ coffee just like they ordered.
Chester: Hey, we didn't order coffee, they did, don't worry, leave it to me.
Chester takes a cup of coffee and throws it at Tad and Chad and AJ does the same to Remy.
Tad, Chad and Remy: AAAAAAAAHHH IT BURNS!
After that they left the restaurant immediately, while Chester, AJ and Trixie laughed at what they had done.
Trixie: That was awesome, let's call Timmy to celebrate.
A few minutes later:
AJ: Timmy, you were right, she's not that different from us, we sure can get along.
Timmy: Thanks guys, you guys are the best, all of you.
Chester: Too bad we missed the movie.
Timmy: I wouldn't be so sure.
Chester, AJ and Trixie don't understand what Timmy meant.
Timmy: Well, a cousin of mine works in the movies, and he's agreed to book a room... that I wish it was at 9 pm for me and three other friends.
The fairies were there, disguised as menus, and upon hearing Timmy's wish, they raised their wands and granted it.
After they had dinner they went to the movies, and so Trixie started hanging out with Timmy and his friends, sometimes they would go to the amusement park, sometimes they would go to the movies or the comic book store, or they would go to Timmy's house. for a game night, and of course, one day, Trixie got the idea to introduce her new friends to her dad.
After some time saving up her money, Trixie called her friends over for dinner, she also asked Mario for some tips on something she could cook for them, so on the big day, there were Timmy, Chester, and AJ, and by the look of Trixie's dad's face, it was obvious that he liked them.
Trixie's Dad: Trixie, I'll have to be honest with you, those old friends of yours, I don't know why but, I didn't like them, but these ones, it's a completely different situation, they're great.
Chester: Thanks, you're pretty cool too sir.
Trixie: Thanks dad, I'll be honest with you, at first I was angry because of what happened to us, but now I realize, this was the best thing that ever happened to me, now I have real friends and I can finally be myself.
Trixie's Dad: I'm glad to hear that and Timmy I have to say my daughter couldn't have found a better boyfriend.
Timmy: Wow, it's an honor for me to hear that.
But despite having new friends, sometimes Timmy and Trixie spent time alone, as a boyfriend and girlfriend, until one day, Timmy decided to ask a question that he wasn't sure how Trixie would react.
Timmy: Trixie, if you don't mind, I have a question, when we were in kindergarten we were friends, but when we started elementary school, you acted like you didn't even know me, which was repeated until high school, could you explain to me why you wanted to become popular all of a sudden?
Trixie (sigh): I figured this day would come, okay, I'll tell you...
Timmy: Trixie, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to.
Trixie: No Timmy, I don't think there's anyone better than you for me to tell this... Well the truth is my dad wasn't always like you knew him, when I was younger he was always busy, and never had time for me, on the other hand my mom and I were inseparable, she was always by my side, but when I was 5 years old, she had a terrible illness, unfortunately the doctors couldn't save her, and that day ... I felt like my world had fallen apart, I had never felt so alone, I thought that all the people I care about would abandon me, so I started hanging out with the popular kids because I thought that then I would always have many people around me, but only now I realize that it doesn't mean anything if it's not people who really like you...
Timmy: Wow...
Trixie: I know what you're thinking, I was stupid, wasn't I?
Timmy: No, quite the contrary, Trixie, this is something very personal, you didn't have to tell me.
Trixie: No, I feel better now that I've told you this.
Timmy: I... I'm sorry about your mother.
Trixie: Yeah, I wish I could bring her back, my dad goes to visit her sometimes, I haven't been in a while...
Timmy: We can go now if you want.
Trixie: I guess I would love to, thanks Timmy.
So they went to the cemetery, and Timmy really wanted to wish Trixie's mom back to life, but he didn't because that would make Trixie suspect his secret, and not just her, everyone would freak out if they found out that a woman who died several years ago was suddenly resurrected, but when they arrived he had another idea.
Trixie: When my dad comes here and talks to her he says he can hear her voice, like she's still here, I wonder if I can do that?
Timmy: Of course you can, I'll give you some privacy, I'll see you in a few minutes.
Timmy left, actually he was hiding behind a tree to (literally) make the magic happen, and after a while, Trixie started talking to her mother.
Trixie: Hi Mom, I know it's been a while since I've been here but...
Suddenly, what she least expected happened, Trixie saw her mother, right in front of her, as expected she was a woman very similar to Trixie, only taller and older.
Trixie's Mom: Trixie, my daughter, I'm so glad to see you.
Trixie didn't quite understand what was going on, but she was glad to see her mother again.
Trixie: What, how did you... is this a dream?
Trixie's Mom: Not really, this is very real.
Trixie: Well, in that case, I wanted to apologize for not coming here, but when you passed away I felt really bad, I thought everyone I love would leave me...
Trixie's Mom: Honey, I can imagine how hard it was for you, but remember, just because we're not in the same world anymore doesn't mean I won't be by your side.
Trixie: I've realized that now, and if we're going to look on the bright side, now Dad and I are closer than ever, and my life is great, sure, it would be better if you were here with us, but other than that I'd say I had never been so happy.
Trixie's Mom: That's great, you've got a whole life ahead of you, enjoy it, and I'll always be here for you.
Trixie: Thanks mom, it was great talking to you.
She disappears, and Trixie leaves the cemetery, meanwhile Timmy was waiting for her.
Timmy: So how was it?
Trixie: It was great, it was like she was here with me, it felt like magic, I feel so much better after doing this, thanks for waiting for me Timmy.
Trixie bends down (she's still taller than Timmy after all) and kisses him.
Alright guys, another chapter is over, finally Trixie, Chester and AJ made peace, but now the question remains, will Trixie be the only popular girl who will redeem herself from the mistakes of her past? what do you think will happen? Find out IN THE FINAL CHAPTER!
