The next morning, Hector and Apple Bloom woke up, smelling like sweat and shame (hint hint), as they put their clothes on.

"Well, that sure was a fun night, we should do this again sometimes," said Apple Bloom, as she got dressed.

"Sure, but let's make sure my parents aren't home next time," said Hector, once he got his pants on. He tried putting on his glasses, but he saw nothing but a blurry mess once the glass was over his eyes. "Hey, I can see without my glasses."

"You also got ripped overnight," said Apple Bloom. It was true, Hector was now muscular, causing Apple Bloom to drool slightly. "Maybe you should wear your tightest shirt so you can get all the girls your age drooling."

"Okay then," said Hector, as he put on his tight blue shirt. "You think my parents are going to notice?"

"Notice what?" asked Stormy, causing the two love birds to jump in fright. "Wow, Hector, you got ripped. Are you sure you don't want to wear a tighter shirt?"

"I don't have a tighter shirt, I double checked," said Hector. "Come on, Apple Bloom, let's get some breakfast and head to school."

At school, after breakfast…

Once the duo were at school, everyone noticed that Hector got ripped compared to yesterday. "I think it's the tight shirt that's making them drool," said Apple Bloom. Just then, Diamond Tiara, Apple Bloom's nemesis, walked towards the duo.

"Hey, Apple Bloom, who's the cutie you brought with you? He just bought his way into my heart," said Diamond Tiara, as she made Hector uncomfortable by stroking his chin. "How much do you want for him?"

"I'm not for sale, you rich slut. And leave my girlfriend alone while you're at it," said Hector, causing Apple Bloom to blush at the mention of being Hector's girlfriend. "Also, tell daddy that you can't buy love unless you want to flush your money down the toilet."

Diamond Tiara was shocked at Hector for both insulting her and dating Apple Bloom. "Fine. But you're wasting your time with that.. country piece of shit!" said Diamond Tiara, as stormed away from them… causing her to knock Principal Celestia's breakfast on her. "Uh oh. I'll just find my way to detention."

Hector and Apple Bloom made their way to class, where they met up with the Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle. "Hey, Apple Bloom. Woah, what happened to Hector?" asked Scootaloo.

"I got ripped. You must be Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, or should I just call you the cutie mark crusaders? Anyways, I'm Hector Parker," said Hector, as he and Scootaloo shook hands. "So, are we just going to stand here, or are we going to sit down and get to the boring stuff about school?"

After a long school day, Hector and Apple Bloom walked home, discussing how Hector became strong overnight.

"I think it might have something to do with the spider that bit you yesterday," said Apple Bloom. "Maybe you have spider powers like Spider-Man."

"That would be cool if I could shoot webs," said Hector. He then did the iconic Spider-Man web shooting hand position, causing webs to shoot out of his wrist. "Okay, that is awesome. We gotta tell my parents about this."

"What about my sister, Applejack?" asked Apple Bloom.

"Babe, she's too honest for her own good, she'll just blurt this out if she gets peer pressured enough," said Hector. "Besides, my parents are good at keeping secrets, they won't even tell me if the Loch Ness monster is real. Come on."

Once the duo were in Hector's house, they met up with Hector's parents to talk about Hector's powers. After about five minutes of explanations, Hector's parents realized it was time to tell Hector the family secret.

"Kiddo, I think it's time we tell you the family secret. Apple Bloom, I think you can be trusted with the secret," said Clumsy, as began to tell the story.

One family history lesson later…

"… And that's why we're so secretive all the time," said Clumsy, who was finishing up his story. Hector and Apple Bloom were amazed at the history of Hector's family. "Just make sure nobody outside of this conversation ever hears about this, it could make them targets for anyone who could harm us."

"Don't worry, Mr. Parker, your family secret is safe with me," said Apple Bloom. She then realized something. "Wait, if you come from a family of superheroes, why are you fighting crime with the boys in blue instead of in red and blue spandex?"

"I used to when I was younger, but after I became a father, I retired from the superhero business and joined the police force," said Clumsy. He then faced his son. "Hector, I'm passing down the title of Spider-Man to you. You must carry on the family legacy for as long as you can, because with great power, there must also come great responsibility."

"Don't worry, dad. I'll make you proud," said Hector, as he and Apple Bloom went upstairs to Hector's room.

"You already have," said Clumsy, as he and his wife smiled at each other.

Once in Hector's room, Apple Bloom and her new boyfriend were thinking of what to do with Hector's new powers, while also sketching some costume designs for Hector.

"Do you think a comic accurate costume or a unique design would be good for publicity? Personally, I would go for a comic accurate design with a unique twist," said Apple Bloom, as she sketched costume designs in her art book for art class.

"I think I'll go with a comic accurate design with a unique twist, like the design of the Spider-Man suit from the ending of No Way Home but with the gadgets from the Stark suit, plus a few bonus gadgets," said Hector. "A few bonus gadgets I'd include would be fire shooters, ice shooters, water shooters, an MP3 player in case I get bored, and some headphones built into the mask so I can listen to the music from the MP3 player. Are you writing this down?"

"Every word. I think I can get this done by Saturday, but I think we should start with a prototype suit until then," said Apple Bloom. Once she faced Hector, he was wearing a homemade suit that consisted of sweatpants, a workout jacket, a red ski mask, green goggles, and red and white gloves. "Can I be honest with you? That suit looks like it was made on a budget of zero dollars."

"That's because it was made on a budget of zero dollars," said Hector, practicing his quips. "Okay, I got the prototype costume ready, now I just need a way to use it."

"Let's check today's newspaper," said Apple Bloom, as she took out the newspaper Hector brought inside today. "Can you juggle?"

"No."

"Can you fart something weird?"

"No."

"Can you speak Japanese?"

"E e, demo watashi wa mada manande imasu."

"It's a good thing I speak Japanese myself." She looked through several more ads, until she found one she liked. "Here's a good one, 'Win 3,000 dollars, Amature Wrestling this Friday at 6:30 PM', you could enter and win the prize money."

"Okay, sounds like a plan," said Hector.

Friday at 6:00 PM…

Hector and Apple Bloom were ready to go to the wrestling match, when Hector suddenly remembered he didn't have a driver's license. Lucky for both of them, Hector's uncle Brainy was visiting.

"Hey, Uncle Brainy, could you drive me and Apple Bloom to the library?" said Hector, who was wearing his prototype suit underneath a regular jacket.

"Sure thing, anything for my favorite nephew," said Brainy Parker.

On the way to the library, Brainy began to talk to Hector about his powers.

"Did dad tell you about my powers?" asked Hector.

"He sure did. I remember when your dad got his powers, he was about your age when it happened," said Brainy. "Look, I know your father already told you about the family legacy, but I know you have the courage to take up the mantle until your retirement. Just remember what your dad said."

"With great power comes great responsibility," said Apple Bloom.

"Word of advice, don't trade your heart for her," said Brainy.

"Don't worry, I wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world," said Hector, causing Apple Bloom to blush. Just as the conversation was done, Brainy stopped in front of the wrestling match from the newspaper ad. "Uncle Brainy, I said drop us off at the library, not a wrestling match."

"Relax, your dad told Grandpa the same thing," said Brainy, as the duo got out of the car. "I'll be here to pick you two up after you win the money." He then drove back home.

"Well, he seems nice," said Apple Bloom, as Hector took off the grey jacket and put on the mask and goggles. "Come on, let's get you signed up."

Once Hector was signed up, the announcer began to introduce him. "What's your name, kid?" asked the announcer, as Hector was behind the curtain.

"The human spider," said Hector.

"Really, that's the best you got? I'll come up with a better one," said the announcer. He then began to do his job. "Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on the venomous, deadly, spectacular… The Amazing Spider-Man!" The curtain opened, revealing Hector.

"Well, he got my name wrong, but I'm still gonna wrestle," said Hector, as he walked into the wrestling ring. Once he got in the ring, a giant cage started to surround Hector and his competitor, Bonecrusher. "Wait, what's going on? I don't remember signing up for a cage match."

"Hey, little man. You're going nowhere, except down to hell," said Bonecrusher. The wrestling bell rang, causing Bonecrusher to charge at Hector, only for Hector to dodge it by sticking to the cage. "Hey, what are you doing up there?"

"Staying away from you," said Hector. "That's a cute pair of shorts, did your slutty husband buy them for you?" He then began to throw punches at Bonecrusher's face, before knocking him out with a kick to the crotch.

"Ladies and gentlemen, meet our new champion, The Amazing Spider-Man!" said the announcer. He then walked Hector and Apple Bloom to the boss's room, where he gave Hector the money.

"Here's your reward, kid. You and your little lady can stop by anytime you want, just in case you want a rematch," said the boss.

"Don't worry, this was a one time thing," said Hector, as he and Apple Bloom went to the door. Once they opened it, a man wearing a beanie ran to the door while holding a safe load with money, as a cop chased after him.

The robber left the room, leaving a trail of money behind. "What the hell's the matter with you, ya let him go!" said the police officer, facing Hector.

"I missed the part where that's my job," said Hector, as he and Apple Bloom went home. Once they were outside, they heard a gunshot, causing them to jump back in fright. "What was that? Oh no, Uncle Brainy!"

They ran towards Brainy, only to find him lying on the ground with blood leaking from his chest. "Uncle Brainy, who did this to you?" said Hector, as he and Apple Bloom tried to stop the blood from leaking. He started to tear up.

"He went… to the old warehouse… downtown," said Brainy. As he took his last breath, Hector started to cry in defeat.

Something then snapped in Hector. He then began to web sling to the old warehouse, where he found his uncle's killer and began to beat him up.

"Hey! Just give me a chance!" said the killer.

"What about my uncle? You didn't give him a chance to talk!" said Hector. He then knocked the killer into the moonlight, revealing that he was the robber from the wrestling match. "You. I should've seen this coming."

"Look, kid, I'm sorry about your uncle, just don't kill me!" said the killer. Hector was about to punch him to death, but then remembered the golden rule of being a superhero: Never kill anyone on purpose.

"I won't kill you. I'm just going to get the cops," said Hector, as the cops showed up just in time. He then web slang back home, where he broke the bad news to his family.

Meanwhile, at Bluecorp (where Emily's father works)…

Grouchy Osborn, Emily's father and rich military weapons designer, was working on brand new glider technology, as his daughter watched in amazement.

"This is pretty cool, dad. But I don't know if it'll be easy to control," said Emily, as she carefully used the glider.

"Don't worry, sweetie, I made a special serum that'll help you keep your balance. But I'm not going to test it on you because I don't want to lose my daughter," said Grouchy, holding a canister filled with a green liquid. "I'll test the liquid on myself, and I'll share the results with you in the morning. Which reminds me, it's time for you to go to bed young lady."

Emily sighed. "Okay, dad, I'll see you tomorrow," said Emily, as she got off the glider and went to her bedroom.

Grouchy then got into the testing chamber, and used the green liquid to surround him with green smoke, causing his DNA to be genetically altered. Something happened to Grouchy inside that chamber, something snapped and made him green with envy.

The next day…

Apple Bloom woke up in her room, and saw, through Hector's window, that Hector was still feeling guilty about his uncle's death. She then got dressed, and went to Hector's house, carrying a case as she walked inside.

"Hey, babe, are you feeling okay?" asked Apple Bloom, as she walked into Hector's room.

"Yeah, I was just thinking about Uncle Brainy," said Hector, as he stared out the window. He then noticed the case. "What's in the case?"

"Oh, it's the suit, I just finished working on it. It's exactly the way you want it, comic accurate with a few surprises," said Apple Bloom, as she set the case on Hector's bed. She opened the case, revealing a suit similar to the Stark suit for Spider-Man Homecoming. "Wanna take it out for a spin?"

"I thought you'd never ask," said Hector.

Later that day…

Sunset Shimmer was looking for potential front page photos for her new job at The Canterlot Bugle, when she saw someone swinging through the sky.

"Hello, Canterlot!" said the mysterious figure.

"Wow, I gotta follow him for a perfect photo," said Sunset Shimmer, as she followed the mysterious figure.

The masked figure web slinged from building to building, until he landed on a skyscraper to look at his reflection in a heroic way, officially making his big reveal complete.

"Man, it's great to be Spider-Man," said Spider-Man, as he looked down at the people of Canterlot. He then talked to Apple Bloom through his suits built in headphones. "Babe, you really outdid yourself with this suit. I'm honestly surprised that you didn't design the suit for the MCU movies."

"I know, I had to take programming classes just to get the expressive eyes right," said Apple Bloom, who was back at home being Hector's girl in the chair. "I found a way for you to test the suit and your powers. There's a robbery at Rarity's favorite jewelry store on Main Street, you test your skills there."

"I'm on my way there," said Spider-Man, as he used his web wings to glide to the jewelry store. Once he was there, he quietly sneaked near the robber. "Ahem, you know, if you're gonna rob a jewelry store, don't dress like a robber." His quip caused the robber to jump in shock.

"What are you? Some kind of circus cop?" asked the robber.

"Really? What kind of cop wears a red and blue leotard? I'm obviously a superhero," said Spider-Man, as he used his webs to take away the robber's gun. "Hey, using guns in a web fight is cheating. The least you could do is give up."

The robber then pulled out a knife.

"Oh no, a knife! My weakness, it's knives as small as your wiener," joked Spider-Man, followed by him webbing the robber to the wall. "Sucker! My weakness is actually my girlfriend, she's just that hot."

"Aww, thanks babe," said Apple Bloom, causing Spider-Man to blush knowing that his girlfriend was listening. "I already called your parents, they should be there in a few minutes ."

"Thanks, I'm on my way home," said Spider-Man, who saw a flash of light coming from Sunset Shimmer's camera. "Wow, I didn't know it was picture day."

"Nice pun. My name's Sunset Shimmer, I need some photos of big news for The Canterlot Bugle. Mind if I take some photos of you, Spider-Man?" asked Sunset Shimmer.

"Sure, as long as you call me a hero and not a menace," said Spider-Man. He then posed for some heroic poses, before he webbed slinged back home.

"I'm definitely getting paid overtime for this," said Sunset Shimmer.

The next day…

"Spider-Man, isn't that name already copyrighted? This one vigilante is all it takes for crime to rise in this damn town," said Reporter Jameson (Reporter Smurf's human counterpart), as he looked at the featured page of the The Canterlot Bugle website. "Why's he all over our website?"

"He's big news, the Spider-Man craze is spreading all over the world, people would pay big bucks just to become him," said Sunset Shimmer. "Besides, we sold out every copy of newspapers with him on the front cover."

"Then I want a decent picture of him tomorrow on the front page, let's make this vigilante famous for the hero he wants to be," said Reporter Jameson.

"Yes Mr. Jameson, I'll get right on it… right after school," said Sunset Shimmer, as she went to Canterlot High.

The next day, At school…

Everyone was talking about the new superhero, Spider-Man (even though he was a thing before now). Hector and Apple Bloom were in class, while the other students were talking about Spider-Man.

"I still can't believe that the best superhero in the world is now a reality," said Button Mash (Sweetie Belle's boyfriend), as he was playing Super Mario Land on his Game Boy.

"Who do you think is under that mask?" asked Diamond Tiara.

"Who cares, all I care about are those tights and that tight little ass," said Scootaloo.

"I still think he should've been in this town back at the fall formal," said Tender Taps (Apple Bloom's ex-boyfriend). "At least someone tried to keep a promise for the great or good."

"I keep telling you, Tender, I'm not going to get back together with you no matter how much you beg me to," said Apple Bloom. She then faced Hector. "That's the simp I told you about."

"Yeah, I can see that," said Hector. He then started whispering to Apple Bloom. "I guess this counts as publicity, now I just need a true villain to fight." Suddenly, a big explosion was made in the gymnasium. "Speak of the devil."

"Students, we're having an early dismissal due to a green elf attack!" yelled Ms. Cheerilee, as Hector, Apple Bloom, and their fellow students panicked as they left the classroom. Hector, on the other hand, changed into his Spider-Man suit in the principal's office (thank god he wore it under his clothes), when he noticed Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna had seen everything.

"Hector, care to explain why you're dressed as Spider-Man?" asked Principal Celestia, who just stared in shock.

"Long story short, I am Spider-Man. Anyways, alert the other teachers of what's happening, and also tell them I'm Spider-Man so I have an excuse to leave class during emergencies," said Spider-Man, to which the two surprisingly attractive authority figures nodded. "Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some bottom to beat."

Spider-Man then web-slinged to the gymnasium, where he saw a green man with a purple hoodie using a glider to scare innocent students… until he saw Spider-Man. "Well, well, well, Spider-Man came to play! You can call me, Green Goblin!" said Green Goblin, as he showed Spider-Man his green face.

"Oh no… Grouchy?" said Spider-Man, recognizing the Green Goblin's face.

I think I'll stop here for now. I'm sorry I took a while to release this chapter, I had to write it after school so it might feel a little rushed. Also, I couldn't find a song that would suit the mood of the chapter, so I decided not to include a musical number (just this once). Anyways, I'll see you all in the next chapter.By the way, the Japanese that Hector speaks is actual Japanese.
