Sword and Monsters
This will most probably be only a one shot unless I either get more Ideas on how to move the story forwards or this gains any traction (which I doubt it will but oh well)

In the Village of Bherna, infront of the Wycademy's Hunters Guild.
A crowd of villagers and researchers are gathering the front of Wycademy to see what commotion is currently ongoing only to see four unconscious hunters currently tied up and surrounded by a four Guild Knights.
A small wyverian girl with brown hair and wearing a cat ears head piece weaved her way through the crowd to see what is causing such commotion.
"Four illegal hunters? Whoever knocked them unconscious must be pretty strong" a bystander asked, the wyverian girl idly noted.
"Yes. This also reported to be occuring in other regions occasionally. Poachers, illegal hunters, and wanted criminals are brought in unconscious or dead at rare cases in front of a village or town." a Ace Commander with white hair and sheathed Dual Blades behind his back replied.
"Even though we already know the answer, we'll have to ask anyways. Has anyone seen who brought them here?" a Ace Gunner with long black hair tied to a ponytail with a Light Bow Gun strapped to her back turned asked towards the bystanders.
The people within the crowd seem to look at each other also interested to see if anyone has seen this mysterious person or group.
While the murmurs and discussions are currently being held by the crowd, one of the tied up illegal-hunters came to and began to struggle to break free in his constraints and to no avail only ended up attracting the attention of a certain Cadet with orange hair.
"Sir Julius, one of them woke up." said the Ace Cadet towards his mentor and Commander .
"PLEASE HAVE MERCY." said 'one of them' screamed frantically thrashed around and looking distressed as if afraid something was coming after him while the crowed quieted down and a look of concern appeared on their faces.
"Calm down, even though you don't deserve it, you're currently safe here." a tall blonde Guild Knight with a tower shield and a large Lance reassured the restrained hunter.
This seem to have an immediate effect as he began to calm down and look around, in fear of someone or something might be watching over him.
"What happened?" the Ace Commander in his usual serious tone.
The illegal-hunter hesitated before answering "W-We were hired t-to be escorts for a noble of Dundurma's caravan full of goods with a suspiciously high pay grade with other parties as well. A-As to what those goods were, at first, my party and I had some ideas but didn't question it as we couldn't pass up the rewards." the longer he explained, the calmer he seemed to get as his stuttering went away.
"Wait Julius, he's speaking as if there should should be more of them, if he's speaking the truth it means theres more to this than just simple escort quest when it requires multiple parties. So where are the others?" asked the Ace Gunner towards her team's Commander, now named Julius.
Murmurs began once again to break out among the crowd as soon as the Ace Gunner voiced out her concerns. The restrained hunter's breathing however hitched afterwards and didn't go unnoticed to the Guild Knights.
"As Nadia has said, where are your supposed companions?" Julius asked as he repeated his team's Gunner's question.
Once again, fear filled the eyes of the hunter as he tried his best to recall what happened that night without breaking down "D-d-dead...T-they're all d-dead..."
The people gathered who were murmuring with each other went deathly silent. Not knowing what to say to such a ominous statement.
The hunter continued "M-my p-p-party and I were out to check the p-perimeter but got a-ambushed a-a-and knocked u-unconcious" then he stopped, still breathing heavily while looking over his still unconscious comrades "I-I was the f-first to wake up and h-heard of the screams o-of the noble and other hunters l-l-like us and went ahead first t-to check out the s-situation to whether we s-should stay and h-help or bail out of there."
"And then? What happened after that?" Julius asked as his eyes narrowed the longer the man recounted his encounter.
"W-when I finally got there, e-everything was over. Arrows burried deep in to m-most people's chests. Weapons, an exact replica of w-weapons of their own s-stabbed and burried deep into their bodies. Some that d-didn't have either arrows or weapons stabbed into them were e-either cut in half or a c-charred corpse, and the middle of it all, H-he, n-no... T-they stood there..."
The feeling of trepidation is felt by everyone listening to the man the longer he went on.
"Under the moonlight, I s-saw a man with prominently ash-white hair with a few patches crimson. H-his eyes was a mismatch color of amber and silver. A-a Black bow on his back and two white and black Dual Blades in his hand. W-whats more terrifying i-is that he was flanked by a silver colored N-Nargacuga and a crimson colored Glavenus."
Everyone who was listening including the little wyverian girl from earlier instantly recognized who the illegal-hunter was talking about.
Everyone murmurs immediately errupted with their own opinions on the matter.
"Wasn't that the guy who saved Milly last week within the Jurassic Frontier when she got lost in the last expedition?" voiced out by one of the reliable villagers.
"It can't be, the young man was a kind and helpful individual, he even helped me out moving heavy crates even though he shouldn't have." another lady who runs a vegetable and spices shop commented.
"I told you all he was up to something no good when he first came here!" a paranoid villager yelled out but drowned out by the others opinions who held the young man in high regard.
"Wait, white hair with patches of red a mismatched eyes, isn't that Sh-" the Ace Cadet tried to say a person's name but was cut off by a another's voice.
"BIG BROTHER SHIROU ISN'T LIKE THAT!" stopped speaking and turned their heads downwards to see a little wyverian girl who said those words at the top of her lungs.
"Milly! We shouldn't be here." another wyverian girl with blonde hair came into view as she tried to drag her little sister away from there.
"But Catalina, that man told horrible things about big brother Shirou! He was nothing but kind to us and even cooked us food and cookies that surpasses even Gourmew Chef's cooking!" That brought a smile to Catalina's face as she remembered those times even though it only happened nearly a a week ago.
"Ahem." Everyone turned to the Ace Commander as he tried to get everyone's attention.
"Are the two of you a friend of Shirou?" with a nod from the two, Julius asked them for more questions that could lead him to their old acquaintance who saved them during their time travelling together.
Meanwhile as Julius walked away to be guided by the two wyverian girls to meet with a retired hunter and owner of the airship Soaratorium to get more information, the Ace Cadet went ahead and tried to uplift the mood of his team.
"Well would you look at that, Shirou's still alive. I knew it he'd be a ama'zinogre' person." aaaanndd it fell flat.
"Not the time Aiden" Nadia said in a flat tone but a small smile was forming on her lips on his attempt to lighten the mood , the same goes for the Ace Lancer.
"If I remember correctly, he was the one who not only saved a village, but also slain a a Lunastra and saved your lives wasn't he? If so, why would someone who sounds like a decent guy would, well, massacre an entire caravan?" the Ace Lancer asked unintentionally bringing the mood down.
"The goods..." the almost forgotten illegal-hunter muttered but got the attention of the three "I-I remember, the "goods" we were supposed to guard were a monster egg a-and little girls and boys. I o-only saw them after he freed them from the cages covered up to be a normal wagon and released them of their constraints, I begged the man to let me and my party go as we d-didn't have any Idea what were getting into. This was s-supposed to be our last time doing this s-so that our families wouldn't struggle monetarily i-in the future."
This time it was Aiden's turn to ask the man. "Did he say anything afterwards?" voice filled with intrigue and concern as he said so.
"N-no, he only stared for a moment at my weapon and nodded and my v-vision went black and lost consciousness and only t-to wake up here." The man's voice was still filled with fear yet there is a hint of thankfulness to be found as he and his comrades were still alive, even though they would likely be in prison for a while.
"Yeah that seems to be him alright, I wonder how'd Mae and Ravi would react when they finds out about this." Aiden pondered.
"Mae will probably come running to see him again and ask for more information about monsters as Shirou appeared to have lived and grew up with them, Ravi probably ask to see what new exotic weapons he made." Nadia idly replied and Ace Lancer just replied with a 'hmm'.

Somewhere within a forest
*Sneeze*
"Is somebody talking about me?" A young man with mismatched eyes asked out loud as he kept sneezing over the course of the journey to bring the captured people back to their families.
Said people were currently staying inside one of the caravan that their capturers used to place them in but this time with nothing restraining them and they were able to set them selves comfortably and hoping to see their families again.
A loud grumbling can be heard underneath where the young man was seated on top of as if to reminding him of something.
"Yeah, we didn't say our goodbyes to the sisters haven't we?" he said in a sad tone of voice.
He was currently riding on top of his friend, a Glavenus who was pulling the caravan of the people they freed. And ahead of the brute wyvern was a Nargacuga who lead the way, whom they helped when it was young and was just about to be captured by poachers after killing its mother.
They spent most of their lives growing up with each other moving from one place to another to help as much people and the occasional monster they pass by.
Honestly , he's grown quite fond of this new world he's in. The scenery and views this world has to offer has taken his breath away time and time again during their travels around the lands.
"Hey, you guys got any idea what we should do we the egg?" the Glavenus and Nargacuga glanced backwards towards the man holding said egg. It was silver and black egg with red jet colored patterns on its shell.
The silver furred Nargacuga only purred in response as the crimson colored Glavenus gave the same response but came out as deep growl.
"Only if we can't find it's parents, then yeah we'll take them in our little group of misfits." He chuckled at the response his friends gave him up until...
Crack*
"Oh? Looks like we're about to meet the little one much sooner than we expect then." He said as the his friends stopped moving to see a new monster come to life...

This is my first time ever writing something like this in my life, so please if anyone ever does finish reading this from start to finish. Try to criticize my mistakes that I may have made or point out whether it feels unnatural and whatnot.
I just suddenly got the urge to write a Monster Hunter and Fate fanfic, and Im honestly surprised that I probably won't mind if I post this as terrible as it is. I think I just wanted to get this Idea out mind and be done with it really.
And honestly speaking? We really need more Monster Hunter fanfics on this site. Even better with Shirou being transported into the world of Monster Hunter.(think about the cool weapons he could store in his Reality Marble)
It's just that I can't really get over how beautiful the world of Monster Hunter is at times, Ive only ever played MHFU, MH4U,MHST 1 and MHXX through simulators on my phone as I couldn't afford buy the actual game and other new ones that recently came out and the device to play on it.
If only Capcom expanded a bit more with the lore and an accurate world map, most people would probably be willing to dive into the beautiful world that is Monster Hunter(is what I think anyways)
I tried to make Shirou here to be something along the lines of a 'Rider/Hunter' with Rin's Pendant inadvertently acting as a Kinship stone for Shirou. I'd probably need to re read more about it if I want to be as accurate as possible but won't as is already 2am and I need to wake early tomorrow lol.
Also the Shirou I went for is UBW route Shirou as I think he is the one closest to EMIYA. I originally wanted to make this as EMIYA being the one transported here as something like a vacation of sorts? Or quite possibly after being free from Alaya but im not smart enough to come up with a proper explanation on that. Tbh I just wanted Shirou or EMIYA to lay back and relax with the occasional helping other people out.(so im sorry if Ive absolutely botched Shirou as a character and pretty much ended up being OOC in that short scene he had)
I should probably also re watch 'Legends of the Guild' again to get Mae's and Ravi's personality right.
Anyways if any Monster Hunter lore veterans out there that could kindly point out mistakes, please do. Can't really do much about not having other MH games rich with lore and stuff lol.
As for the title, it'll remain as is for now I am terrible at making names and such, and pretty much the standard/common name I could think of at the top of my head.
Whether this comes out as good or bad, I just think it feels nice to actually write out one of the things the I come up with.(Is this was writers feel like when they come up with a new Idea? Ngl it really does feel nice)
