Verse 9: Deadly Rescue
Artyom goes off to grab some food in the Russian wasteland as the lightning storm has passed with the sky being bright and clear. Artyom goes out to hunt to stock up more on their food supplies with his Dragoon lever-action sniper rifle.
He is hunting for rabbits as a small rabbit is chewing on the grass as a bullet got into its skull with blood pouring onto the ground.
"Okay, that's about the 6th rabbit I gathered," he thought to put it in his backpack for he goes back to the base camp to see Alisa out of her clothing to be in her pink silk underwear as she stretches within the cave.
"Oh baby, you got the rabbits I asked for?" she asked as Artyom takes the exotic beauty in front of him to see her bending over to see her ample round butt fitting her panties.
"Oh yes," he snaps out of it to quit looking at Alisa's rear which is swaying suggestively for she giggles at this.
"So cute," she said going up and kissing him on the lips. "You know these are the same bra and panties I wore on our date, just to let you know," she whispered in his ear as he grabs her slender waist and pulls her into a hug.
"You look very sexy," Artyom said shifting his hands from his trim waist to her butt cheeks with each hand on one.
"I know, you got a hungry glint in your eyes," Alisa felt her ass get tapped by both of his hands feeling them shake in his grip. "Oh Artyom, you are so bad," she said as Artyom felt her big breasts pressing against his chest adoring the sheer softness of her bosom.
"I love some sweet buns," Artyom said as Alisa laughed that he calls her butt a food.
"I'm glad you like my ass, all of my body is yours," she said as she felt Artyom's finger under her panties stroking her ass crack making her flinch. "Hey, I want to make us some rabbit stew," she said as Artyom lets her out for Alisa takes the bag of rabbits from him
"I bet it's good," he said as Alisa sport a cute little wink to put on her nightgown to go into the caravan.
"It will be," Alisa said to close the door to slip on an apron and begin cutting up the rabbits.
"Gee at this rate, I will be a young auntie," Natalia comes into the scene with her wearing her goggles along with a blue tank top and white shorts.
"I bet you would be a good one," he said as Natalia utters a smile.
"I guess, you have been a great help so far on this trip and you make my big sister happy," Natalia said.
"Glad to be of assistance," Artyom patted the young teenager on the back. He goes into the trailer to see the blonde cooking on a pot filled with broth and rabbit meat.
"That smells big sis," Natalia said as Alisa pours warm rabbit stew into three bowls.
"Enjoy," Alisa said as she hands them the warm bowls and they sit outside to take a bite of the stew.
"Delicious," Artyom said as Alisa smiles that her boyfriend enjoys her cooking.
"Tasty as always big sis," Natalia said.
"You know my mother says that earning a man's heart is through his stomach," Alisa said to leer at Artyom enjoying his meal.
"Your mother is wise," Artyom said to eat down the meal.
"I want to be a good wife to my future husband. Would you agree to that baby?" she asked as she glided her slender fingers across his shoulder making his quiver from her gentle touch.
"Of course, a warm meal made with loving hands is the best," Artyom said as Alisa goes to kiss him on the lips.
"Indeed," Alisa said as Natalia rolls her eyes at the couple.
"You two can go fuck in the caravan," Natalia said.
"Oh okay, Natalia go scout outside while I and Artyom get a nice quickie," Alisa joked.
"Yeah very funny," Natalia said dryly as they finish their meal. Alisa takes the bowls into the trailer to clean them up.
"Do you know there is another town nearby?" Artyom asked.
"Not for a while, the next town is Rook but it will take some serious mileage to get there," Natalia said.
"I see, good thing we stock up," Artyom said as he felt something big and soft on top of his head.
"What are you two talking about?" Alisa asked as her big chest is rubbing his hair and her soft body pressed against his back.
"About our next spot of civilization but at least the weather is getting nice," Natalia said.
"Yeah," Artyom said.
"Artyom, I wonder. What were your folks like?" Alisa asked as Artyom raises an eyebrow at this.
"Where this came from?" he asked.
"I am just curious, I talk about my parents but you don't talk about yours," Alisa said.
"Oh well, there is nothing to talk about. I have never known about my father and I only had my mother who I barely remember," Artyom said.
"I see, what was she like if you can?" she asked.
"She was kind and warm, she took care of me in our old home station," he said.
"What happened to her?" Alisa asked.
"Our old station was overrun with rats, they were eating everyone inside. I manage to escape but mother paid the price by giving me to one of the men at the trolley as she was eaten by a horde of rats," he said.
"Oh; I am so sorry, I didn't mean to have you think about that," Alisa said showing some deep sympathy.
"It's okay, it was a long time ago. I don't even remember her face but anyway my stepfather Alexei was the one who saved me and raised me in my second home station," Artyom said.
"What was he like?" Alisa asked as she didn't bother before since the event of his stepfather's death and the destruction of his home station was still fresh within his mind.
"He was the nicest and fairest I ever meet, he is a man worth looking up to. He led our station quite well and made it thrive," Artyom said as Alisa catches in his voice the deep respect and love of his stepfather for him to utter a low sigh. "Now he is not here anymore, I need to hold onto his memories to honor him," he said.
"Indeed, you should. It's sad what happened with your father," Alisa said.
"Well, I got to look at the bright side. That moment pushes me to get a better life with you and a new home," Artyom said grabbing Alisa's tiny hand to gently squeeze it.
"Oh Artyom, I will always be here if you need me, okay," she said in a gentle tone as the radio inside their truck is acting weird for them to hear a voice of a woman.
"Hey someone out there, the Stormguard are coming for me," the woman's voice is going in and out of the static.
"What the hell," Natalia said as they go up to the truck to listen to the radio.
"Please, I am caught. Trying to escape the bunker with me hold up in their radio room. They are trying to find me, my name is Maya and I need your help," the woman said as they heard the door burst open with Stormguards aiming their weapons at her.
The radio cuts off with the trio sounding confused. "Someone got kidnapped by the Stormguard, we should help her out," Artyom said.
"Well I guess, she would reward us. Fine," Natalia said.
"Besides I want to get back at those assholes," Alisa said.
"I can't argue that," Artyom said as they go put on their gear as well as weapons. Artyom grabs a DPM LMG with a PK-A Reflex Sight and a foregrip, Alisa takes a Vepr 545 semi-auto sniper rifle with a PSO-1 Sniper Sight and a Bipod, and Natalia gets a Bizon SMG equipped with a Kobra Red Dot Sight and a Suppressor.
"Okay, I can pinpoint where the radio signal is coming from. Let's take the truck," Natalia said as she unattached the truck from the caravan to get inside to head for the location.
Alisa is checking out her rifle to cock back the charging handle readying for a fight. They follow the signal to see a small town to see the tallest building filled with Stormguards.
"This is the place, the bunker must be in the basement," Artyom said as they are on top of a hill. Alisa sets up her rifle to lay on her stomach on the grass.
"Okay, let's do it," Alisa aims through the scope and fires onto a sniper on the roof with Artyom seeing her ass jiggle from the recoil.
"Hey Artyom, you can tap my sister's big ass later," Natalia joked as Alisa pouts.
"Hey, my baby knows a good rear when he sees it, right?" Alisa's voice is etched with a lustful tone making Artyom's heart melt from her sweet voice and making her ass shake a bit.
"Okay, let's go lover boy," Natalia said as they slide down the hill with Alisa firing more shots to take out the snipers.
"What the hell? Who is attacking us?" a guard questioned as one of the grunts looks down the sights of his AK-74 to see a lone sniper on the hill. "We got trouble on the hill," the Stormguards open fire on Alisa as she avoids fire to return shots to keep their attention.
Artyom and Natalia are by a door with Alisa drawing them in as Artyom kicks the door down to see a bunch of grunts with Artyom firing his machine gun with bullets cutting through the groups of enemies.
Natalia slips away with the others also drawn to Artyom with more of them trying to take him out. Natalia is raising her Bizon to pour in suppressed shots and get in headshots with them not noticing her presence yet with Artyom getting behind cover.
Artyom is raining rounds into the squads of Stormguard with them tossing grenades as he slips into another room with the blast kicking dust and debris. He reloads by pulling out a disc-shaped magazine to slip it onto the top of the machine gun to resume shooting at the Stormguards.
"How is the search?" Alisa asked on the radio to hear a bullet going over her head to roll away to behind cover to let out rapid precise shots taking down multiple enemies.
"We are getting close but they are a bunch of enemies here," Artyom said.
"We are working on it," Natalia said as she is putting shots from her suppressed Bizon.
"Don't get shot," Alisa said as she clears out the rest of the snipers to wipe the sweat from her brow. "Well, all snipers are cleared out here," she said on the radio.
"Good, meet us inside," Artyom said as one of the Stormguards spotted Natalia. He turns his DPM to hear the gun click empty. "Well shit," he pulls a throwing knife out of his pouch and tosses it into his neck saving Natalia.
"Nice save Artyom," Natalia said as she takes cover to feel something heavy coming their way.
"Okay time to take fight these freaks," a Stormguard is coming through the door to be clad with heavy armor head to toe wielding a Gatling gun to begin spiting a volley of lead to smashing through the walls.
"Take cover," Artyom said as the trio ducked to avoid the hail of bullets coming through the building. Alisa just got inside to hear the loud rattling from the echoes made by the Gatling Gun.
"What the hell? What is going on inside?" Alisa questioned to duck behind something with the Stormguard heavy walking slowly in the hall spreading destruction and ripping the interior apart.
"Heavy with a Gatling gun," Natalia said as she unloads her Bizon's huge 64 bullets into the heavy's armor but it was too thick for her SMG's bullets to pierce. "Not good," she said as they avoid the vicious barrage.
"Just peachy," Alisa's voice is etched with sarcasm to aim for his helmet to score a hit but the ballistic helmet visor blocked the shot. "Great," she said as Artyom checks to see if he is out of rounds for his machine gun.
"I need to look for something else," he goes to a crate to crack it open to see an RPG launcher with a rocket already inside. "Perfect," he grabs the launcher to aim as the girls are distracting the heavy with his back facing Artyom.
He shoots the rocket to land the target turning the heavy into a pile of red gore. "Good work Artyom, now let's get our damsel in distress," Natalia said as they go to the basement to see the entrance of the building's bunker to see the worn-down walls of a Slavic woman in her mid-20s with short dark brown hair and brown eyes.
"Oh; thank you so much, my name is Maya," Maya said bowing her head in thanks for her rescuers.
"No problem, my name is Artyom and these are Alisa and Natalia," he said as Maya looks over to see two blond half-Korean girls behind him.
"Oh my, you should not be here. These Nazis don't like mixed people so much, it 'poisons the Slavic blood' or some nonsense like that," Maya said as they escort her outside.
"We can deal with scumbags like these Nazis," Alisa said as Maya grabs her bag to hand them a bag of Marks for their troubles.
"Here you go, it's the least I can do for you saving me. I need to head back to my village within Hope Valley," Maya said.
"Hope Valley?" Natalia wondered.
"That's what we call it. We can use people like you there. Good luck on your trip," Maya said to get into one of Stormguards' trucks to drive off.
"Well, we did a good deed, kick some Nazi ass, and got paid. That seems like a good day, does it," Alisa said as they go back to their truck to head back to base camp.
