Verse 10: Bridge Hopping
Within the Stormguard's HQ, Helin is in her room as she is wailing on the bed like a child who lost her favorite doll. "No, that stupid Korean bitch. She stole my husband from me, he doesn't need that fat cow boobed Gook," Helin complained.
The flashes of awful memories with her parents go through her mind as this sends a shiver down her spine. "I am so glad they are gone now, all the shit they put me through," she said as she has a flash of anger thinking about her parents.
"Madam, we spotted your husband nearby the bridge," a grunt said at her door.
"Prepare my helicopter. Kill the Korean slut and keep him alive," Helin ordered.
"Yes madam," the grunt said.
"My sweetie, you will be back in my arms and your little slut will be in a shallow grave," Helin said as she prepares for the battle.
Elsewhere the trio is driving on the road as they see a large bridge in the distance to see a lot of Stormguards securing the area. "Well, we can't get over that bridge," Natalia said as they parked their vehicle in a safe location.
"Not only enemies are blocking our path but it's a drawbridge and it's been pulled up," Artyom said as they go grab some weapons and ammo.
"Well we need to clear them out and pull that bridge down allowing us to slip through," Alisa said as they go into the gun cabinet with her taking a Dragunov Sniper rifle with a suppressor, a bipod, and a PKS-07 Sniper Sight.
Artyom grabs the DPM machine gun equipped with a foregrip and a PK-A Reflex Sight while Natalia grabs the Bizon with a suppressor, laser sight, and a Kobra Red Dot Sight.
"Okay Alisa, you will cover us from the hills, and I along with Natalia will mow through them," Artyom said as Alisa nods her head.
"Okay, you can count on me," Alisa said as she lays on the grass on top of the hill to overview the bridge with the duo coming in hot. "Time to go to work," Alisa started to pick off the snipers one by one with the duo splitting off with Artyom letting a hail of bullets putting down a few grunts.
"Hey, there he is. Make sure to keep him alive for Helin," a sergeant said as they open fire on him. The duo managed to distract them with Natalia sneaking around to take out several targets.
"I am going inside to let down the bridge," Natalia said on the radio as Alisa aims her shot at a sniper above the entrance of the bridge. "Thanks," Natalia said on the radio as she slips through the door to see more guards coming through the hallways with her pouring rounds into the chest.
"It's that smaller Gook, get her," the guards wielding their weapons as Natalia slides under a hole in the wall small enough for her to go through. She evades her pursuers as she strikes them down in the back with her SMG.
Alisa looks down the scope to see Artyom being pinned down by a truck with a mounted heavy machine gun. "Oh no, you don't," she said to put a quiet shot onto the gunner to knock her off the gun turret.
"There is a lot of resistance here," Artyom said on the comm as he burst fire his machine gun with more people trying to stop him. He sees a grenade land by him as he quickly tosses it back to explode in mid-air.
"Hey, there is someone on the hill," a grunt commented to fire onto the blond sniper as she ducked behind the hill.
"Oh shit, I got spotted," Alisa fires onto the crowd of grunts to support Artyom.
"Get to a better position," Artyom said on the radio as an explosion knocks him away as his DPM slides off the bridge. "Oh great," he grabs his revolver to pop shots to try and find another weapon to use on the ground.
"Artyom, what is wrong?" Alisa asked.
"I lose my weapon, I need another one," Artyom said.
"I will come down and help you out," Alisa slides down the hill to switch to her MP-443 to start blasting incoming Nazis away with headshots. She rolls behind a crate to see dual PP-2000 SMGs with 44 round magazines each. "Early Christmas for me," she thought to put her pistol away as she dual wields both guns to let out a large volume of bullets to gun down multiple squads.
Artyom evades a grenade to avoid the blast to find a plain AK-74 to get back into the fight. "Thanks for the distraction," he said as Alisa empties her SMGs to drop them on the ground to go to her pistol to be beside Artyom.
"No problem," Alisa is backing him up as Natalia is going deeper into the bridge's interior looking for the control room to face a bunch of guards.
"Shit, I am out of ammo," Natalia puts the Bizon away to use her machine pistol to set it on full auto to cut through her enemies to reach the control room. "Okay, I am in the control room," Natalia said as she shuts the door behind her to begin to lower the bridge.
Back with the duo outside, they are done with the guards to see no more in view. Alisa is out of breath with Artyom checking up on her. "You okay?" he sounds worried about her health.
"Yeah, I am fine. I need to catch my breath," Alisa said.
"Oh look, the slut has stolen my husband. My Raptors, time to get my man back and that half breed will be dumped in the river," Helin said within their radios as they spot a flying Mi-8 loaded with weapon pods.
"You got to be shitting me, she got it in working condition," Alisa said as both are dumbfounded by this.
"Wait a minute, I am hearing a helicopter outside," Natalia said on the radio.
"Helin got herself a working Mi-8 loaded with weapons," Alisa said.
"You got to be shitting me," Natalia said as she is working on the controls to begin lowering the bridge.
Helin is in the cockpit of the helicopter to see 26 highly trained Stormguards called Raptors equipped with armor and tactical gear while using Slayer battle rifles which are a post-war design that resembles the WW2 German weapon the FG-42 with a 20-round side-mounted magazine filled with 7.62x54mmR bullets.
Helin is shooting the helicopter's minigun to pepper the bridge with the duo evading out of the path of the bullets.
The Mi-8 hovers above the bridge to see it about to reconnect. "Also take out the person within the control room," Helin ordered as the Raptors go down the ropes to hit the ground to open fire on the duo while some went into the bridge's interior to take out Natalia.
"Shit, Natalia. You got Nazi commandos coming your way," Artyom said as he is blind firing from cover with the Raptors able to punch through cover with ease.
"Okay, I got some traps here just in case," Natalia said as she has claymores and bouncing betties lined within the hallways and rooms to prepare for the worst.
She can hear the Raptors coming through the hallways to hear explosions rocking the area with her grabbing 64-round helical magazines filled with armor-piercing rounds. She is mowing down a few targets with a grenade getting thrown her way.
"Oh shit," Natalia said to launch herself into another room to avoid the grenade blast. She tosses a pyro grenade to leave a path of flames to block them from coming around the corner. She went to close the door behind her to pull down a cabinet to block them off.
"You little bitch," a Raptor knocks Natalia onto a wall to make her drop the SMG onto the floor with her pinned to the wall. Natalia pulls out her knife to stab his side to make him drop her as she stabs her blade into his head.
"Well, I better destroy the controls. So, they can't bring it up again," Natalia said as she grabs the Bizon to go deeper within the bridge's interior.
She goes into the hallways to see more Raptors to open fire to cut them down. Then she hears a rifle being fired with Natalia feeling her body exploding with pain as her shoulder gets hit hard.
"You got to be fucking kidding me," she thought as blood is running down her wounded shoulder as she drops her Bizon not being able to use it. Lucky for her, the group of Raptors went into a bouncing betty trap as the explosive takes them out.
"I don't hear any more of them inside, guess I didn't need to destroy the controls," Natalia said as she goes to the supply room to go fix up her shoulder.
"Hey little sis, are you okay down there?" Alisa asked as they fend off the Raptors but the Mi-8 is giving them trouble.
"I got shot in the shoulder," she said as she hears her big sister sound very worried.
"Oh, are you okay?" she sounds concerned.
"Yes, I am going to patch myself up since I took care of those guys down here," Natalia said.
"Okay time to take out that helicopter," Artyom said to see his AK-74 is empty to drop it and he takes a Slayer off a dead Raptor with it equipped with a PK-A Reflex Sight, Foregrip, and a Muzzle Brake. He takes a 20-round magazine and slips it on the right side of the weapon to cock the battle rifle.
"I will not let you steal him from me," Helin said as the Raptors fired onto them with Artyom landing a bullet in the neck of a Nazi commando.
"Keep Helin distracted, while I find something to take out that helicopter," Artyom said.
"Right," Alisa said as Helin is trying to hold her back.
"Oh, this is going to be fun filling you with hot lead," Helin said.
"Don't count on it," Alisa said as she faces more Raptors using her Dragunov SVD.
"Stupid thunder tits, hold still," Helin said as Alisa is nearby an explosion knocked her to the ground dropping her SVD to see it fall off the bridge and into the river below. She is left with her Tanto dagger and her MP-443 handgun to kill off incoming enemies.
"That's right I got big boobs and Artyom adores them," Alisa taunted her as this is pissing Helin off quite badly. She fires her Grach into the leg of a Raptor and drove her Tanto into his neck.
"You fat chested bitch, I am going to enjoy this," Helin said with venom as Alisa fires her handgun to shoot through the grass to almost hit Helin in the arm missing by a few inches. "Oh man, that was close," she thought.
"Oh man, that was too close to end one of these nightmares," Alisa thought with Artyom seeing Helin about to hit Alisa. Artyom finds a Preved anti-material rifle and fires at the tail rover to damage it making Helin's helicopter go spinning out of control.
"What the hell, I'm losing control," Helin said as she jumps out of the chopper to engage her parachute seeing her beautiful helicopter crash onto the ground below. "You got lucky whore, I will get Artyom back," Helin said on the radio.
They manage to clear out the Raptors and Helin is gone for them to go inside the bridge to find Natalia. Soon enough they see the younger girl putting vodka onto her wound to clean it up. Alisa runs up to her little sister to hug her.
"Oh Natalia, are you alright?" she asked sounding worried.
"Yes, I am but I am a bit shaking up," Natalia said to pat the wound with a clean cloth to begin taking out medical wraps. "Can you help patch me up?" she asked as they see the wound looks bad but it's healable.
"Sure," Alisa said to put the bandages around the shoulder to secure it quite well. "Okay, it sure be fine but you will not be able to help in fights for a while," Alisa said.
"Great, well we managed with a lot of luck to get that bridge down. Let's keep going," Natalia said as they gather supplies and weapons from the storeroom to get back into the truck to head across the bridge to go to their next location.
