Hiiiii! So long story short it has always been my dream to start writing a story here. I thought about it for a while and read some of the other stories that included OCs and absolutely fell in love with those! And, now, I finally decided to give it a go. I don't know if this story will catch an attention of lot of people since it's kinda a cliche trope, I mean replacing the canon cast with OCs while keeping the challenges and hosts intact, but it's also my first story and I would like to try with something more easy so I hope this would at least slightly help me. Also if you have any useful tips then I would be super thankful and grateful!
With that being said, the concept of a story is really simple, Chris is looking for a success after All Stars got so many hate, since we can all agree that it's worthless crap lol, and desperately looks for something that could boost the ratings for the next season and in the same time appease the producers so they won't cancel him and future possible seasons of Total Drama. After he gets a reality check by seeing the kind of cast that was chosen by the producers (For the sake of the story I mean the OG Pahkitew cast), he realizes that no one would enjoy the season with so many people with abnormal personalities, I mean...a fairytale princess...or a wannabe supervillain are hardly relatable. So he counter argues with the producers to the point where he himself is tasked with picking his next victims, or contestants as you may say, and he sends out his robo-Chrises to promote a new season and encourage people to submit their auditions.
That's a long summary of course, I really hope that you liked and enjoyed it. I was heavily inspired by many stories by the similar premise where OCs replace OGs or join alongside them and I decided on making a Pahkitew version since I feel that this season is always overlooked by other people, even more than others. Anyway there of course will be some simple rules to the submission process, namely:
1) No Mary Sues! No one likes an overpowered character.
2) Be creative! Let your imagination flow and create unique characters.
3) Be realistic! I don't want any people with supernatural abilities or cartoonish characters that are evil for the sake of being evil or good for the sake of being good.
4) Be patient! Don't fret if I won't reply to your app, I am currently starting a new school year and I have some other things on my head as well so I won't be always available to answer all your questions.
5) The deadline to submit your OCs is on September 14th so one and a half week. I think it's quite enough time.
6) I'm looking for 14 contestants, none of my OCs will be included since I simply don't have any at the moment lol.
