The scene opened to a view of a host, Chris McLean, in his usual attire that consisted of navy, short-sleeved shirt with a white T-shirt underneath it, light brown pants and white-and-blue sneakers. He was also wearing a small sack-necklace around his neck. His black hair was neatly styled and was reaching just above his shoulders.

"Welcome, Total Drama fans!" The host began with his usual smile not leaving his face. "Put on some clean undies cause things are about to get wild!" Chris exclaimed with a mischievous tone to his voice. "Yeah-he-he-he-he!" he promptly laughed.

"Fifteen spanking fresh contestants, and a totally brand new location!" The host continued his monologue as the camera started to zoom out, showcasing the entirety of a new bowl-shaped, cliff island covered nearly entirely by pine trees, saving for one or two beaches by the coastline. Several more rock islands were surrounding it, few other, bigger islands could also be seen far in the background. "A Cree island in western Canada!" Chris finally revealed the true location of this place.

"As you might recall," Chris said as static interrupted the previous view and quickly changed views to the footage of last season finale, more specifically the moment of one final sink of island Wawanakwa underwater, not to be seen again. "during our Heroes vs Villains finale…someone, and I prefer to remain nameless." Chris interrupted as he paused the footage and appeared in front of it and soon pointed to his chest before backing down. "Accidentally destroyed our old island."

The scene then transitioned to an open area, showing Chris leaving the forest shown to the right and entering said area. "So, this is where we landed." Chris announced.

"No shacks." He said, as the camera showed this season's elimination area, which happened to be on top of some flattened hilltop. There was a big, wooden gateway standing on the right side of the screen that led into it. Past the gate you could see an oil drum podium for Chris and slightly further into the hilltop, several stones, stumps and logs prepared for the contestants to sit on, as well as a firepit in the middle of everything. Along the back edge of the hilltop also stood three tall, wooden poles with orange and yellow lights stringed between them. Finally there was also a pathway leading down from the elimination area.

"No showers!" Chris continued as the camera this time showed a waterfall, next to a tall pine tree and with a grassy hill behind it.

"No hotels!" He continued as the camera now showed the entrance to a cave with two small ponds in front of it.

"No hot tub!" Chris exclaimed as the camera showed another small pond of water, but this time with a rocky surface surrounding it.

"The only things we managed to save were the outhouse confessional." Chris explained as the camera showed the said wooden outhouse, situated now on the edge of the forest, "And the horrific butt smells that live inside it." The host finished his sentence as the chubby Asian male intern bursted open from the confessional, with a plunger in his right hand and gasping for air, and promptly fainted, hitting the ground head on.

"It'll be the roughingest roughing it that's ever been roughed on Total Drama!" Chris announced loudly as the camera focused back on his character. "So, buckle up. This is Total! Drama! Paaaaaaaahkitew Island!" Chris exclaimed as loud as he could as the entirety of Pahkitew Island was once more shown in its full glory for everyone.

Hi everyone.

I'm back here, this time bringing you this small preview above, the cast list, and the opening intro, that will be found under the cast list.

Firstly, I would like to give big thanks to everyone that applied, in the end I received 33 apps, not counting those in reviews, which is really more than I expected in the first place, since I'm new in the community and all. It also pained me to reject some of those guys but as always not everyone can get in and I hope that you will not be mad at me for not accepting your character. As I said, I liked all of them and in the end it mostly got down to picking those who worked better with possible plots, romances and rivalries. I admit though, that instead of 14 characters, I picked 15. I decided to do that due to one character being non-binary and me still wanting equal number of females and males. I just guess that the final number of contestants will have to be odd. But, well, it doesn't pain me that much.

With that being said, thanks once more to everyone who applied and congrats to those whose characters got accepted. As for the first episode, I will start working on it tomorrow and I hope to finish it fairly early, although I will let you know that I won't plan on posting it until I have the entirety of the second episode also written down. It's kind of my plan to always have one more episode written before posting the first one. It is to prevent me from going offline for too long in the future and for emergencies. That is, if I know that I won't be able to post or write for some time, which could happen at least a few times, then I will just publish the additional episode and leave a note regarding the possible hiatus. With that said, I hope it will not be a problem for you guys.

The opening intro opened to a view of a rocky forest waterfall, with a stagelight appearing from behind some rocks and turning on. Then the view moved to a shiny spotlight swinging down from the branches of some mossy, mushroom-ridden pine tree. Finally the view moved to a pond where a brown bear, wearing a scuba mask, sat in the water and glared at a frog that sat on a lily pad, as suddenly the security camera rose up from below the lily pad, surprising both animals. Another camera then also hit the seagull that sat on some rock on the beach in the back of its head as a pair of white-skinned hands clapped a film slate in front of the camera.

As the film slate was pulled away from the view, the scene transitioned to a view of a rocky stream, with Robin and Chris McLean, standing on one of the nearby rocks, as Robin gave out his best impressions of Chris while the real host was grumbling in annoyance with his arms crossed. He then shoved Robin out of the way as the camera passed next to them.

The camera then fairly quickly moved through the pine trees, stopping before Anna and Cora, who were happily talking with each other while picking and eating the blueberries from a bush in front of them. They were interrupted though when suddenly the blueberry bush exploded, covering them both in the fruits' juice. The view then moved more to the left where it revealed Kerdan, who was hiding behind the tree and observing the first scene through binoculars and upon noticing it, he started to laugh and cheer for his success before the camera panned away.

Soon it stopped on the top of a cliff where Yuki and Miriam were in the middle of standing with their back turned to the other person, glaring angrily at each other with crossed arms and refusing to talk with each other while Rowan and Iggy were both trying to talk both girls into reconciling and talking with each other. Both of them were obviously not successful, since the girls didn't even flinch.

The camera then panned downwards to show the middle of a pine tree with two big branches, one above the other, with Lake being situated on the bottom branch, with various books and notebooks on her lap as she was both reading and writing down things in said notebooks, while Tammie was situated on the top branch with a bucket of water in her hand, and a smirk on her face, probably intending to drop the contents of it on Lake. But before she could do that, she got hit in the face with a small rock and promptly fell from her branch, together with her bucket.

The camera moved even more downwards and slightly to the left and revealed that it was Harper who threw the said rock at Tammie. He was grinning evilly and giggling and soon he turned around to escape the scene but froze in fear when he noticed that May was observing the whole scene, but after noticing that she wasn't saying anything, only staring blindly into the sky, he sighed in relief and ran right past her.

The camera then moved to the left and showed Aztaroth sitting on a rock, with an irritated look on his face and his hands covering his ears. To his right was Ezra who was playing on his guitar quite too loudly for the gambler. And to his left was Kit who was in the middle of disassembling some weird machine with a screwdriver and whistling happily to themselves. Suddenly the machine started beeping, cause their eyes, as well as Aztaroth's and Ezra's, to widen and all of them ran away, leaving the machine behind as it exploded a few moments later.

The explosion then ended to show both Anna and Cora sitting together at the campfire at night. Both of them were blushing and looking at each other with smiles on their faces but both were too shy and scared to say anything to the other.

Soon they were interrupted by Kerdan, who stood in-between them with an angry look on his face as he eyed both of them down, causing both girls to back away a little and stare at each other with confused glares.

The camera then zoomed back to reveal the whole cast sitting together at the campfire, alongside Chris and Chef Hatchet, as well as the gateway with a signpost on it, that read "Total Drama Pahkitew Island" in big letters.
