Chapter One
Robin's POV
It was beautiful sunny day in Jump City you could smell the freshly cut grass.
Across the body of water on a very small island atop the Titans Tower we found Robin the fearless leader of the Titans.
"Mmm I love the smell of Summer." Said Robin breathing in the air around him.
Robin would go up to the top of Titans Tower every morning to think about all of the things that lingered deep in his mind.
Sometimes Raven would join him he didn't know why but when she was around him his mind fell at ease.
But…lately she was keeping him at a distance and he's not exactly sure why.
Now that he was alone with his thoughts once again the anger started to boil within side him. The thoughts of Terra once again plagued his mind. The team had lost Terra only a few months ago it had been so hard losing her. Beast Boy started acting like the same Beast Boy again only a few weeks ago but Robin knows better. He can hear the hidden pain in Beast Boy's voice every time he speaks.
It was all Slade's fault.
He had twisted Terra into doing his bidding. Terra did betray them but ultimately she proved herself by sacrificing herself to take Slade out and save the titans and Robin blamed himself for the tragedy that is Terra he feels like he could have done so much more to save her.
"ROBIN!" Shouted Cyborg through the communicator.
Robin suddenly snapping out of his train of thought.
"Cyborg what is it? What's wrong?" Said Robin calmly.
"It's the H.I.V.E Robin." Said Cyborg is a serious tone.
Robin tightened his grip on the communicator.
The H.I.V.E…. Robin thought they had been a thorn in Robin's side that he no longer cared for or tolerated. They had become an annoyance that Robin wanted to delete permanently.
Robin breathed in a deep breath and exhaled.
"What is it now Cyborg? What have they done?" Asked Robin
"They are currently at Jump City Central Park wreaking havoc!" Exclaimed Cyborg.
Then suddenly a crackling booming voice erupted from Jump City.
"Cyborg was that them?!" Demanded Robin.
"Yes they are causing a lot of damage and they don't care who they hurt while doing it Robin we need to get there fast!" Exclaimed Cyborg.
"Alright Titans Go!" exclaimed Robin before running down the Titans Tower to the T car.
Across town in JCCP(Jump City Central Park)
"Jinx this plan had better work." Demanded Gizmo.
"It will Robin won't know what him and even if he does it will be too late for him." Jinx said in a accomplished tone with a malicious smile forming on her face.
"I just want to get this over with I don't understand why he couldn't take care of the titans himself." Said Gizmo coldly.
"You know why Gizmo." Said Mammoth in a deep growling tone.
"Yeah Yeah I know I just want to get this over with." Said Gizmo with aggravation under his breath.
"Stop right there H.I.V.E!" Shouted Robin in a demanding voice.
The Titans had appeared in front of H.I.V.E in a matter of seconds. Starfire floating in the air with her eyes glowing bright green and her hands already had powerful green energy balls waiting for H.I.V.E to make their first move. Beast Boy now in T-Rex form ready to take on Mammoth. Cyborg with a stern look on his face with his left arm stretched out aiming right for Gizmo ready to fire his laser cannon. Raven floating above Robin with her hood over her head and her hand are currently in fists enveloped in dark energy. Robin in a powerful stance holding his staff ready to attack in a moments notice.
"Hahaha." Laughed Gizmo in maniacal tone.
"You think you can stop us Boy Blunder.?" Asked Gizmo coldly.
Gizmo Chuckled once again.
"Do it Jinx !Now !" Ordered Gizmo in a demanding voice.
Robin's face now in horror as he is now noticing the laser gun Jinx has just pulled out.
"What is that?" Starfire asked.
And as if in a split second Jinx has now aimed the laser for the Titans leader. Before there is any time to react a red powerful energy was heading straight for Robin. Robin stood frozen not understanding why he wasn't moving the laser now millimeters away from him when he suddenly heard the cries of Raven.
"ROBIN MOVE!" Cried out Raven.
Then suddenly there was a strange powerful force that had hit Robin from behind and Robin fell to the ground hard.
Robin disoriented slowly raising his head from the ground holding his head in his right hand.
"Ugh what happened….? What hit me?" Robin asked himself.
"Raven!" Cried out Starfire, Cyborg, and Beast Boy.
Robin slowly turned around to find the alien princess kneeling down to the pale demoness surrounded in a pool of her own blood laying limp on the ground hood off looking even more paler than usual the ends of her hair now covered in blood.
Robin's heart sank at the sight of Raven.
It was Raven she had pushed Robin out of the way of the laser risking her life in the process.
