Dizziness...dizziness, dizziness, dizziness...
Just dizziness...
Plus, his back hurt a lot. There he was, laying on the couch, frowning, tired, not knowing why.
"Wakko, are you ok?", his older brother asked. "No...", said Wakko quietly. "Is something wrong?", his younger sister asked. "Have no idea...", Wakko replied. Then she gasped, "Wait! Are you sick or something?!". "Told you Dot, I don't know...", said Wakko tiredly, "My back hurts and I feel all dizzy.. I guess I'm just-"
"Aaah, I know exactly what- I mean who you need!", Yakko interrupted, wiggling his eyebrows and lifting Wakko up. "Heeey! Let him go! You have no right to do this!", Dot shouted at him. "Come on, he'll be fine!", said Yakko as he walked out of the water tower and closed the door. Dot just scoffed, "Boys. Go fig. Ugh, why do I keep repeating that?!".
Wakko watched as the water tower became more distant with every step his brother took while carrying him. Where were they going? What did Yakko mean when he said that? Who was-
Suddenly, Wakko saw that they were taking a very familiar turn. Scratchy? Were they visiting the p-sychiatrist for this? Wait, no, that doesn't make sense- oh no...that could mean only one-
"Oh hello you two", Wakko heard a too familliar voice. "Here", said Yakko as he tried to turn his brother around, but Wakko wouldn't dare to be left alone with who was considered to be his very first crush. Again.
"Aw, come on Wak! You know who this is, don't you?", his brother tried. "Stop interrupting my toughts!", Wakko mumbled. "What?", Yakko was confused. "You bring me here before I can even guess it!", said Wakko, clearly annoyed. Yakko just chuckled, "I guess he's just a little shy...", he said.
The nurse frowned at him then slowly walked to where Wakko was. "I have candy if you want", she whispeted to him. As soon as Yakko felt his brother tense at that, he gave him to Hello Nurse and ran off.
Wakko blushed a deep shade of pink as the nurse walked into her office and closed the door. "That was very clever from you, you know", she said. "What?", Wakko asked, confused. "What you said, remember?", she asked. "Oh...thanks", he said, still blushing.
"So, I assume something's bothering you again, huh?", the nurse asked. "Yeah...I feel dizzy again and my back hurts...", said Wakko.
"Aww...", said the nurse and started circling her fingers on his back. Wakko tensed at that as his heart started pounding and he felt butterflies in his stomach. "Hey...I'm just trying to help...", said the nurse as she continiued to circle, thinking very hard of what to do next.
Finally, she got an idea. She went out of her office and into the emergency room, where they usually had appointments. There, she placed Wakko on the bed and took those three transparent bases.
"Ok", she said, "You're going to eye-follow the pencil while looking trough all of these three colors one by one and tell me when your back stops hurting". After every eye following, she'd let him rest for a while so he could let her know if it stopped. First she tried the red one, then the green one. It only worked with the last, blue one.
"See? Last time we tried it for the legs, and it worked the best with the red one. Now, this was for your back so it worked with the blue one. It works differently for different parts", said the nurse, "Ok, perfect", she picked him up again.
"You still dizzy?", she asked. "Uh huh", Wakko mumbled. Then it dawned on her, "Wait. Are you tired??", she asked, thinking the worst. "Ah, yes", said Wakko. He had probably guessed what the nurse was thinking about. She sighed heavily and went to the telephone.
"Hello?" "Hello Yakko, could you please pick your brother up? He's really tired and I really think he needs to rest", said the nurse. "Wait. Are we being friendly here?", he asked. "No", the nurse deadpanned, "Now please do as I said, will you?". "Alright, will do, bye!", he said and hung up.
Wakko knew perfectly well what was happening. He just didn't understand why were his sister and Hello Nurse still being angry with his brother. Well, little did he know they were up to something. Well, the nurse was up to something...
"Oh, I almost forgot!", said the nurse, "Here", she gave him a small candy. Wakko's face lit up as he slowly took the candy and, surprisingly, started to unwrap the paper. Then he ate it and gave her an unrolled wrapper. It was pink with blue dots on it.
The nurse stared at it, confused. "For you", said Wakko, blushing. She smiled, "Aww, thanks".
"There", said Yakko as he tucked his little brother in, "Do you want me to close the door?", he asked. "Sure", said Wakko. Yakko climbed down the triple bunk bed's ladder and stood at the door. "I'll wake you up in an hour, ok?", he asked. Wakko just nodded. "Alright, sleep tight", said Yakko as he closed the door.
