It's been 2 months since the fall of the pirate operations of Tallon IV with no sign of them until now. The federation detected energy signatures consistent with phazon and as the only one experienced with combating it I was sent in. The planet is class 2 desert world. Battered with constant dust storms I will need to begin ground based reconnaissance. I set my trusty hunter class gunship to a nearby landing site and prepare my Chozo Vaira suit for whatever I may enounter.

I located some ruins consistent with Chozo engineering but I do not recall them mentioning this planet when I lived with them. Inside I find a strange device, large cables twisting and turning about connection to a massive ring in the center of the room. After scanning the device it transmits to my suit a single line, "Rift stabilizer activated". The ring begins to glow and the cables let off bright blue sparks. What can only be described as a ball of light forms in the center of the ring. The suit alerts me to strange gravitational readings but before I can activate my gravity suit I'm pulled in.
