When Dabi returned we all had a meeting on what we planned on doing with the younger version of their leader.

"I say we just have turns on babysitting him everyday!" Toga said, hand up in the air. "I suppose that will do" Compress said thoughtfully with Tenko by his side sipping on a juice box he was given.

"If somebody is busy then he'll be passed onto the next person that is supposed to babysit him" Everyone nodded along

"I'll take care of him first since I'd rather just get it over and done with" Dabi said with a bored look on his face "you'll be with me tomorrow okay brat" Dabi said with blue eyes staring at the frightened child.

"Chill out dude! haha look at the kid cower" Twice and his alter ego shouted from their spot besides Toga. "I don't know, you aren't exactly the best choice for him since he's still trying to familiarize being with us" Magne said with a frown.

Compress didn't really seem happy with the idea either but nodded none the less "Just don't go scarring the poor boy"

"Whatever" Dabi replied

"I suppose this meeting is over, although we'll need someone to investigate the quirk which Shigaraki was hit with" Compress decided, looking around for any volunteers. "I guess I'll look into it, got nothing to do anyways" Magne said "I'll help out cause' I'm not really busy either" Spinner announced before they all dispersed to do their own things.

"You can sleep in my room, I don't really sleep there much since I have my own apartment outside our hideout" Compress relayed to the boy holding onto his pants. He nodded before being led to said room.

"Goodnight" Compress said before leaving to god knows where.

Tenko sat on his bed and tears started to pour down his eyes. 'I miss mom... I want to go home' he thought to himself while burying his face into the soft white pillow.

That night he cried himself to sleep.

-Next Day-

"Hey brat, wake up- oh you're already awake" Dabi said as he opened the door to see Tenko sitting upright on the bed, hugging the plain white pillow against his stomach.

He startled at the sudden appearance of the scary older man, and just stared at him with his wide round eyes. "Follow me, we're going to go shopping for some clothes and other stuff that kids need. Kurogiri gave me a shit ton of money so just pick whatever. Hurry up" he continued to talk with a scowl on his face.

Tenko just nodded and hurriedly got off his bed and towards the older man.

Dabi threw a hoodie for him to wear as he wore his own black hoodie and scarf to cover his burns. Dabi noticed the boys red rimmed eyes but didn't press into it.

They made it outside and got into a taxi which drove them to the mall. Tenko was quiet the whole way, the same going for Dabi. When they arrived at their destination, Tenko stuck close to Dabi as they made their way through crowds. He was a bit intimidated with the amount of people walking around but swallowed down his fear and followed the dark haired man.

They entered a bright store full of parents and their kids browsing around. "Pick out whatever clothes you want. Get socks and underwear too, I'll be back in half an hour so don't leave the damn store alright"

he nodded in return which earned a satisfied look from Dabi before he left him be.

As requested, Tenko made his way around the aisles. He was nervous since he never really went shopping since he was usually kept home. He came across a shirt with all might on it and his eyes sparkled. He quickly grabbed that one before making his way towards another hero shirt that caught his eye.

When he was done with his shirts, he decided he needed something to hold everything and grabbed a basket. He made his way towards where there was pants and picked out a bright yellow shorts and another dark blue one. He continued picking out some other dark and bright pants before making his way to the socks and underwear.

When he was done Dabi arrived just on time while holding a bag.

"Finished?" Dabi asked and he nodded with a huge smile. The man seemed to falter a bit at him but nodded and led him to the cashier before paying everything off and putting everything in a bag. All of a sudden he heard a snort from besides him. Tenko looked up to see Dabi shaking with a hand over his mouth as his other held up one of the t-shirts he picked.

"I-is everything alright Mr. Dabi?" Tenko asked in concern but all he replied with "She wasn't fucking lying- oh my god I can't wait till you turn back" he was trying to muffle his laughter as he stared at the All Might themed t-shirt. Tenko just looked at him weirdly before realization dawned on him. "Oh, Mr. Compress and Miss Magne said that it was about some inside joke with big me right?" he asked innocently which only led to Dabi laughing harder (earning him some weird looks)

"S-sure kid, come on lets just go find a seat for us to eating some of the stuff I bought while I was gone" he said, face still flushed from laughing but otherwise had an amused glint in his eyes.

"O-okay"

Once exiting the store, they made a bee line towards the exit of the mall before walking towards a bench under a tree. There they sat and placed the bags besides them. Dabi pulled out some boxes and milkshakes before handing him one of them. "Drink up kid, got this from one of my favorite stands" he said as he began to sip on his shake.

Tenko copied the man and once he tasted the beverage he looked back up at him with a huge smile that said 'it's good!' Dabi just grinned back and returned the look with a 'I told you so' expression.

"I also got some sweets and Takoyaki" he said while opening the boxed which released a mouth watering smell. "Smells good" Tenko said as he stared at the food.

They both ate in silence as they basked in the cold breeze. "Thank you" Tenko said voice shy "No one ever treats me this way except my mom and sister" Dabi just quirked an eye at this. 'No dad? Or just a shitty dad..."

"You don't like your dad?" Dabi asked, not really caring if it was a sore subject. Although it became obvious when the boy flinched.

"My dad doesn't like heroes... so he gets really angry whenever I mention or say I want to be a hero" this surprised Dabi. He knew he admired heroes but didn't think that he would have actually wanted to be a hero. 'I wonder what changed'

"Angry?" He asked instead "Yeah, usually its just yelling but sometimes when he is especially mad he'll hit me" at this the temperature dropped as Dabi stared wide eyed at him. The boy must have seen something in his expression as he quickly went to defend his father "He just wants what's best for me, I really love my dad and he loves me..." he faltered a bit at the end.

Dabi just sighed. 'Of course hand job has daddy issues... guess I'm not the only one that suffered child abuse in the league'

"Okay, first of all your dad is a piece of shit. No parent should have a valid reason to hit their child- or any child at that. Even I have morals. Same goes for your mother if she doesn't do shit about it" Dabi declared, voice holding no room for arguments. "But-"

"No buts brat, if I, a VILLAIN-" he said empathizing the word "-knows that shit is wrong then its wrong" Tenko only gapped, eyes wide as he tried to process what he was just told.

"Wait- villain?" He choked out instead

"Oh yeah, forgot to say that me and the others are villains" Dabi replied blandly while sipping on his milkshake. "What!? But- you're so nice and- what does that make me? Oh no-" he was clamped shut by a hand.

"Shut it kid, look, all you need to know is that your family is shit, and yes we're villains future you included, but blame society not yourself cause' the world is full of shit" Tenko just nodded stiffly, lost in his own thoughts.

Dabi just sighed "Don't worry about that shit now, you'll be back to your timeline after a while so just focus on yourself, not whatever bullshit future you did. So you're a villain, who cares! I definitely don't! Let me tell you something, I would have never thought that I would have become a villain when I was your age but here I fucking am! Just- life sucks and you'll learn more about that once you're older. For now just fucking eat"

Tenko was surprised at the mans speech, although he cursed a lot, what he said kind of made sense. Tenko took up a contemplative look as he downed another sweet. He was still down but decided to focus more on the food in front of him.

They made a bit of small talk after that but was otherwise silent. Both preferring to watch the scenery.

They returned to the hideout that day relaxed, the previous conversation pushed to the back of their mind.

Tenko didn't sleep until an hour later that night. Because although he was just told that he'll grow up to be a villain, he was treated unlike any other. He was told that what his father did was wrong and deep down he already knew. After all, his sister always told him that heroes helped and never hurt people, they instead protected and saved them. She said that villains were bad guys who hurt innocents and so heroes jobs were to protect people from villains.

So it makes sense...

I was hurt wasn't I? Dad was a villain since he hurt me right? I was apart of those 'people' right? Where was my hero?

'Did I become a villain because I wasn't saved by a hero on time?'

Tenko's young brain couldn't handle this new revelation and soon dozed off into a deep sleep.

Meanwhile Dabi that night wore a frown on his face.

'Guess we had more in common than I thought handjob'
