'Mmm! These are really good! Did you have some help with these?' Kensi asked licking her mouth.
'A bit. Turns out, Eric and Hetty know a thing or two about making peanut butter cookies. So, I asked them to come over to help me out because I got worried I might screw things up.'
'So in other words, they were the ones who really baked these, and not you?'
'No, that's not what I meant. Sure, they mostly helped out, but I was the 1 who printed out the recipe. So, those cookies are 100% mine.' Deeks insisted.
'I'm gonna call them and tell them thank you for making them.' Kensi replied. Then she stuck another cookie in her mouth and went to get her cell phone.
'Nuts. I knew I should've butted in when Eric insisted on mixing the eggs.' Deeks muttered in defeat.
