Tohsaka was in what should be considered her standard resting position by now. Sprawled on her back, legs bent with her knees pointed toward the sky, miniskirt tousled a wee bit up toward her waist, with her shivering ankles parted as as something cool and unspeakable slithered around down there.
Her perception of time and place was a little hazy from all the fighting she'd just endured, and from the pangs of revolting euphoria taking over her lower body. She glimpsed at the fiery sky with squinting, wet, tired eyes. Her mouth opened only to mutter a weak, disgusted "Ugh."
A very white-haired and veiny-faced Sakura was seated in a compromising spot between Rin's skirt and stockings, with her own knees curled up in her long black dress. The smile haunting her face as she quietly gazed down on her fallen sibling could be described as both alluring and menacing.
"Don't worry, Rin," the younger Matou said in an assuring, relaxing whisper. "I won't make you get them too quickly. But you will get all of them."
"Are they ever goi-… Guh! … -going to end, sis?" Rin yelped with her teeth grating against each other and one eye wincing in highly pleasured torment.
Sakura curiously glanced down into the darkness situated between their four legs. They created half of a spider when they were crouching so close together.
"I'm not sure. Every time I think you're almost maxed out, it opens up even more for my Crests. It's barely putting up a fight for me. You're much more roomy than I was expecting."
"I always had bigger hi-… Hee! … -hips than you," Rin reminded her sister between uncomfortable groans, turning a sexy bragging point into a grotesque vulnerability. The Crests had consumed Sakura first, but she was along the lines of a modest studio apartment for the tiny beasts. Rin was like upgrading to a velvet-lined luxury mansion. Both sisters were going to be proud larval cribs when this was over.
Sakura could have gloated over her conquest. She could have said "I'll make you writhe for me, pathetic mortal!" (Although Rin was already doing plenty of that.) But instead, she always looked down to her older sister caringly and affectionately, and maybe a little possessively. She was elated knowing part of the hive she incubated was always intended to occupy Rin's curvaceous boundaries, and now she was making those depraved intentions become reality.
Once the fight ended with Sakura panting to catch her breath and Rin lying motionless in a smoky pile of debris, the older sibling's fate as a second Crest Goblet was sealed. Rin started off this ritual as one would expect, with a lot of "Cut it out! Cut it out! Hey, wait a minute! I don't want this! GEH! That's gross!" But within a minute after the first Crest colonists made the inside of her pelvis into their new habitat, she settled down and let her sister continue to do what was necessary. All of her futile kicking had completely stopped, and now the only movement coming from her lower half were the nervous waist tremors and recoiled hip gyrations that indicated the demons were doing a splendid job.
Sakura tragically shook her head as her hand faded under the black pleats covering Rin's thighs.
"All that awful fighting and screaming, just for something that can really be enjoyable if you let it. It's such a relief I got to you first."
Her initial goal at the beginning of the duel was just to subdue her sister's abilities without causing any lasting physical harm. Once Rin was grounded and had her spells muted, Sakura's highest priority took over: The urge to maximize Crest survival and ensure some of the children teeming inside of her found their way into Rin's mana-rich confines. They were sisters. Sisters were supposed to share everything.
Rin's raven hair ribbons spread out in a ruffled blanket under her head as she glanced up at Sakura with half-open eyes that simultaneously appeared drowsy and erotically lurid. She couldn't force herself to hate her sister, or even force herself to hate the idea of losing. A major reason she was probably so amiable because she had gone into this challenge knowing all the rules: If I can beat Sakura, I'll have a chance to cure her. But if she beats me, her curse spreads into me, and it's nighty night fallopian tubes. The failed battle witch had no one but herself to blame.
There used to a time when she thought she was heroine of this world's sick, dark joke of a story. She thought she could rise above the centuries of underground corruption and betrayal fighting in the fringes of society. She thought she could defy her shady family connections and truly make a name for herself. She'd fooled herself into thinking she actually had a chance to free her sister from hideous, twisting undulations of destiny and be the one who brought light back to the world. But here she was now, down in the cracked pavement and getting her gear scrubbed out with soft quivering squeegees made of unevolved demon villi.
She felt a lot of different things at that particular moment, but none of those things were the word sore. No matter how many hundreds of the Goetian minutiae went slithering inside of her, they always conformed to her shape rather than forcing her to take their shape. They were polite guests, all things considered.
"Is it … is- … EE! … -it almost over?" Rin asked through labored high-pitched gasps. She was losing her sense of self every time Sakura made another handful of her wicked children become part of Rin's self.
"I believe so. They're slowing down. Not reacting to your scent as strongly as before. I think this is the most I've ever seen you accommodate." Sakura's enflamed red lips smiled confidently.
"The most you've ever … ? But I … I … AYE! … I haven't …" Rin choked through her words in frenzied delight.
"The Crests have gifted me with more than one form of sight, dear sister." Sakura coiled her empty fingers as she stared at her hand covered with demon grime and plague scars. "I've seen this happen to you a dozen different ways. In every possible outcome, your womb manages to stay fairly clean until you're about eighteen or nineteen, and then it becomes a pure black Crest vector in one night." Her eyes turned away from her palm and glanced at Rin's flustered gasping face. "I'm glad I get to be the one who does this to you. I'll do this the right way so you don't have to suffer."
"The girls downstairs appri-… Ahh! … -appreciate the generosity, sis." Rin grit her teeth as another surge of pleasure tickled her tailbone and swept up her spine.
She curled her mouth in the shape of a cat's muzzle as she wiggled her waist. A ticklish, submissive wiggle. She wasn't going to deny it any longer: Her hollow girly spaces belonged to the demons.
"Wha… what are you going to do with m-m- … Mm! … -me?" The older sister asked in a voice that sounded less like a frightened whisper and more like an excited coo.
"The question is, 'what will we do together?'" Sakura coldly smirked. "We'll become mothers to a new world. Give birth to a new era to where there is no pain or torment, where everyone will have no choice but to worship us. We'll quiver across every nation and silence this horrible world with our cursed bellies. All that fun stuff the Scrolls talk about."
This was the first time Rin had ever heard about any 'scrolls,' but she trusted her younger sister's judgment.
"We'll lay waste to the world with our unrivaled black magic," Sakura promised with increasingly sinister overtones. "We'll become the second coming of the Edelfelt sisters, only we'll actually get along. We'll be unstoppable."
Now she was saying things Rin actually recognized. The older sibling purred anxiously and nodded in agreement with the younger's ambitions.
"I need to put you through one more trial before you're ready, Rin. Sorry about all this." Sakura lowered her head as her voice became softer.
Rin heard the sizzle of ether transforming into solid material and saw something flicker just below her line of sight. Sakura lifted her hands into view, revealing she was holding a pair of divining rods made from steaming black metal.
"Just relax, sister. This part will be a little chilly…" Sakura breathed on the narrow rod in her left hand to warm it up, and then breathed on the one in her right hand. Their smooth ends sank into the shadows below Rin's miniskirt.
The older sister's eyes flew wide open as she flinched on her rubble bed and shrieked in surprise. Sakura continued guiding the rods safely as Rin settled down again. Rin's left leg extended into the air in nervous reflex, revealing the rounded portion of her back hip that joined with her thigh. It was a very Cabaret dance move, except instead of playfully exclaiming "Hey!" she just sort of feebly mumbled "ugh."
Sakura delicately moved the two instruments like they were small levers installed in a crankshaft. She silently watched and studied with her eyes close to the ground between Rin's knees, while Rin's energy briefly returned in a chorus of delighted "Ooh!"s and "Aah!"s and "Eee!"s. Sakura's scientific investigation tools doubled as stimulation toys in her gentle hands.
The younger Matou observantly nodded at her findings.
"Hmm. Crest saturation spread equally across the nervosa and subderno hemispheres. Minor planar flux in the embroxid bed, but that's to be expected for the first few days. Interesting. They're mostly settling in the eastern vivaf channel. Ah, very stable. Very healthy. I think you'll do just fine, sister."
Rin froze with another "Eek!" as the rods carefully emerged from the short black curtain draping between her thighs. They disappeared from Sakura's scarred fingers once they were fully removed.
The older sibling placed her right palm over the sweater covering her waist and grumbled absentmindedly like she had eaten just a little too much of a very good meal. Her knees stretched down and her legs flattened against the ground as immense fatigue swept through every muscle in her slender body. Her ankles lazily slouched inward, leaving her leather slippers pointing at each other in a pigeon-toed posture.
"Glad that's done," she sighed as her head turned toward her shoulder and her cheek nestled against the pavement. The spent conjurer couldn't even summon enough power to open her eyelids. "Can you give me another hour, sis? I feel like I haven't slept since the Twenty-sixth Dynasty."
Her limited crystal magic-adapted body had just been converted into a reactor for overwhelming abyssal magic, but right now it was in a powerless state between phases. It would take some time before her physiology adjusted and recharged its new functions. Once that happened, she was going to be the strongest Magus on the face of the planet (equal only to Sakura herself).
Sakura stood over Rin with her arms crossed and the dark reddish-black trail of her gown fluttering in the burning air. Her Crest-scarred palm rested against her smiling Crest-scarred face as she watched her older sibling fall asleep. It was such a precious sight.
"Get all the rest you need, sister. I'll keep an eye on you in case the Worms give you too much trouble."
Author's note: I'm always left wondering if Kana Ueda (that's Rin btw) was cast as Yamashiro in Muv-Luv as an intentional in-joke, because Fate and Muv-Luv are like the "The Two Great Epics" in VN culture, and maybe the Muv-Luv people were trying to say "Haa haa. We had giant bugs brutally annihilate your Fate main heroine waifu in the second episode to establish she's too weak for our universe and our heroines are cooler." It's the really same way I've always wondered if Viper's creators were trying to say something by having James McCaffrey (Max Payne in Max Payne and Denis Leary's blown up ghost cousin in Rescue Me) start out driving a Dodge Stealth, and then he destroys it by flying it into a wall 11 minutes into the pilot episode, when a Dodge Stealth was also used as KITT's then-most recent car body in Knight Rider 2000, so that entire sequence can potentially be construed as "lolol he killed KITT because KITT is small time and now he upgrades to the Viper." (Both of these theories are just working theories of mine with no official basis outside of their respective franchises, so maybe it's just a bunch of coincidences.)
Author's note 2: The Twenty-sixth Dynasty is the Egyptian dynasty that coincides with the time the Ishtar Gate was built in Babylon. I started thinking about Red River again while I was writing this. (I just do that sometimes.)
