In this story Plagg and Marinette know each other and are friends. Ladybug and Chat Noir are dating and know each others identity. They are 18 and Adriens dad is a little more lenient when it comes to spending time with friends

Chat Noirs POV

"Adrien get up. I'm hungry!" My kwami Plagg whined, flying around my head. "Come on Plagg, just give me five more minutes then I'll get your precious cheese for you." I grumbled, brushing him away from me gently.
Boy was he persistent this morning. Instead of taking that as a hint to leave me alone he decided to start screeching in my ear! "No! Not 'five more minutes'. I'm hungry. Now." He then proceded to pull my hair until I finally had had enough. "Plagg go get it yourself! Read my lips. I. Am. Not. Getting. You. Cheese. Get it yourself." I snapped at him.
He stared at me in shock for a moment before flying off angrily. I felt kind of guilty for snapping at him but, well he did deserve it. Or maybe not.
I decided to turn on the TV for a bit of noise since it's really quiet without Plagg here talking to me. Just as I reached the remote I heard a loud bang from the other side of Paris. Oh no. Immediately I turned on the TV and had my thoughts confirmed - another akuma attack! "I am Animal. Ladybug and Chat Noir, turn in your miraculouses or the whole of Paris will be destroyed. " The akumatised villian Dark Cupid announced before swiftly flying away.
"Plagg? Plagg theres another akuma attack Paris needs us." When I got no response I tried again. "Please. I'm sorry Plagg. Paris needs us now and m'lady needs us. I can't leave her to fight alone."
Plagg reluctantly came out from his hiding spot and I saw his face soften. "No. We have to help her." He said before smiling at me expectantly. "Plagg - Claws out!"
I ran across the rooftops until I spotted m'lady. She looked stunning as always. I swung over to her. "Good morning, Bugaboo. You're looking purrfect as always." I said, bowing and kissing her hand.
Ladybugs POV

I smiled at my kitty's puns. "Hello my kitten. Have you seen the akuma yet?" I asked, standing on my tiptoes and giving him a peck on the cheek. "Not yet, Bugaboo, but I'm sure we'll find him soon." Chat told me, blushing slightly.
His eyes suddenly widened and he pushed me out of the way as the akuma sent a blast my way. I screamed as it hit him and he was surrounded by green light.
"Prince!" I yelled, rushing to him and holding his trembling, feverish body in my arms. "M...m'lady?" he whispered. "I'm here, mon chaton. Its okay. I'm going to take you back to my house. I'll take care of you, I promise." I reassured him, speaking softly.
He simply nodded and I picked him up, carrying him back to the bakery. I landed on the balcony and opened the trap door. Once we were inside, I layed him on my bed.
Half an hour later, I was about to go downstairs to get him a glass of water when he finally spoke again. "Please don't go. I don't want to be alone." He said, grabbing my arm. His hand was shaking. I looked into his beautiful green eyes and felt my eyes well up with tears. "I... I know m...my kitten. I'm so s... sorry. This is all my f... fault. It sh...should have been me." I sobbed burying my tear stained face in my hands.
"Bugaboo don't cry. This wasn't your fault. I chose to protect you. Come here." He said gently, moving my hands with his own and wiping my tears away. I looked at him and he smiled lovingly at me. "Do you need a hug, my princess?" He asked, already knowing the answer. I nodded and he moved over a bit and opened his arms so I could cuddle with him on the bed.
"Kitty?" I said quietly. "Yes Bugaboo?" He said. "I'm scared. I don't think that a fever is all the effects of being hit by the akuma. I... I couldn't bare it if anything happened to you, my prince." I confided in him, looking into his eyes, mine full of worry and tears.
He grinned at me and stroked my hair. "Oh princess. You don't need to worry so much. You know why?" I shook my head. "Well Bugaboo, it's because I have you. I've disappeared so many times from the akuma hitting me because of my recklessness and you always bring me back. I trust you, Bugaboo, always have and I always will." He said confidently, kissing my forehead.
"I love you my prince."
"I love you too purrincess, with all my heart."
I nestled as close to him as I could physically get and I felt him purr. I smiled to myself and heard my miraculous beep. "Tikki, spots off. " I said, detransforming. Tikki immediately left the room looking for cookies. "Plagg, claws in." Chat said, detransforming as well. Not even a minute later, Chat was yelping in pain.
"Kitty! Whats wrong?" I yelled, panicked. I broke our embrace to see Chat moving around in pain. I saw real fur on his body and a moment later he was swallowed into a bright green light.
"Prince? Kitty? Where are you?" I sobbed as the light faded and I couldn't see him. Just then a cat jumped onto my lap from the other side of the bed. It began rubbing its face on mine and purring. I wiped my tears and picked it up, burying my face into its soft fur. I noticed it had a collar on, so I read what its name tag: Chat Noir. Was this cat really my kitty?
I gazed into its eyes and felt the same connection I did when I did it with my prince. "P...Prince?" I asked. The cat seemed to smile at me and nod. "No... no. This can't be right. You can't be a cat. I'll c..close my eyes and open them and then it will all be over." I sobbed desperately.
The cat pressed close to me and licked the tears off my face. "You can't be a cat, my prince. I love you. How can I live like this, knowing your a cat and I... I don't know how to fix this." Suddenly my back straightened and I had determination in my eyes. I knew what I had to do. I would defeat the akuma and return my prince to normal.
"Stay here, my darling prince." I said affectionately, kissing the tip of his nose. "I promise I'll fix this. I'm going to defeat that akuma once and for all." I called on my transformation and left quickly in search of the akuma.
Chat Noirs POV

I watched her leave and made up my mind to follow her - after all I had to know shes safe. I pushed the trap door leading to the balcony open and jumped through, jumping on other buildings so I could stay close to the girl I love.
I watched as she got to the Eiffel Tower and called on the Animal. The akuma was quick to come, but my princess was quicker to attack. "How could you hurt him?!" I heard her yell at the akuma. Oh dear. I almost felt sorry for the akuma. When my bugaboo gets angry and determined, nothing stands a chance with her.
I saw her throw the akuma into a building and take the akumatised item off him - a small picture of a mistreated animal - and ripped it in half. She took out her yoyo and de-evilised the butterfly. "Miraculous Ladybug!" She yelled, throwing her yoyo into the air (pretend that works). I watched as the ladybugs circled around me, returning me to Chat Noir again.
Ladybug turned around and once she saw me a couple of buildings away, she ran to me as fast as she could and threw herself into my arms, nuzzling her face into my chest. "Oh my prince." She said, looking angry and relieved and happy all at once. "I told you to stay in my room! You could have been hurt!" She scolded me.
"I'm sorry Bugaboo, but I needed to keep an eye on you - you know how much I worry about you." I said, pouting a little, knowing she was more relieved than angry at me. She sighed and hugged me tighter. "Lets go back to my house. I don't want to be alone." She said, smiling brightly up at me. I scooped her up into my arms and carried her back to her balcony, opening the trap door with my foot.
I set her down at her desk chair and sat down at her feet, placing my head in her lap. She ran her fingers through my hair and I purred. "Princess?" "Yes my prince?" "I love you endlessly. " I told her. "I love you endlessly too chaton." She replied.
The End Of The Day - SITTING ON THE COUCH IN MARINETTES ROOM
"Hey kitten?" I heard my princess say. "Yes my purretty?" I chuckled at my latest pun. "Can you um sleep with me tonight? I'm scared that something might happen to you and well never mind it was a stupid thing to ask." She muttered. "Of course my love. I don't want to leave your side." I replied happily. We had slept together of course when my bugaboo has nightmares or I have them and she calls me to come to her, but this time, I would be with her all night. I didn't have to leave her side at all.
I texted Natalie asking permission for a sleep over at Ninos and she said I could, so that meant no one would be bothering my darling bug and I.
