Summary: They're doing everything together. Even breathing.
Their breathing matched each other's. Ruki wasn't sure why that felt so important. But regardless, when she breathed in, so did Renamon, and vice versa. It should have been strange and unusual. It should have been at least a little upsetting.
But it wasn't. This was what should be. This was what she'd wanted and never known until she had it. Someone to be in such perfect sync with.
Is this what love is like? Maybe it was. Ruki thought it would be a good enough explanation. Did she even need a better one?
No. She only needed this joy.
