A scene that came into my mind after revising my old "Fast and Furious" story I made when I was starting out on this site. I wrote this at a time when Furious 7 was going to be released, and that the movie's out, it hasn't aged well.
I was a bit new on this Fanfiction stuff when I wrote the Furious 7 story and I had to delete it because I didn't feel satisfied with the story.
So, this will be a scene that I took from my old story and re-frame it as a scene from the actual film. Now into the story.
Disclaimer: Fast Furious series belongs to Universal studios.
Car Park, Tokyo, Japan
Sean Boswell was relaxing with his girlfriend, Neela, who leaned on his car., who just previously won against the former DK, Takashi, sat
"So, DK." Neela teased. "What are you gonna do next?"
"Relax." Sean said as he smiled.
Suddenly, Sean heard the voice of his friend, Twinkie, the first friend he met in his earlier in Tokyo. "Hey yo, Sean! Yo, Sean."
Sean turned around and smiled at Twinkie. Twinkie leaned over on the car next to Sean's and approached him. "Hey, check this out, man. This dude over here wants to race the new DK."
Twinkie nodded to Sean, who laughed as Twinkie continued. "Heard he's been beating everyone around Asia, too."
Sean hesitated. "Not tonight, Twinkie."
Sean must have thought Twinkie left, because as soon as he and Neela were about to continue their conversation, Twinkie spoke up. "Said he knew Han."
Sean turned around to face Twinkie, as he was surprised to learn that the new opponent also knew Han. Sean recalled the night Han was killed during a chase in Downtown Tokyo against Takashi.
"Said Han was family." Twinkie said as he looked at Sean. Sean was hesitant to accept the challenge as he turned his head and saw Earl and Reiko on the background, before turning to Neela, whose look on her face said one thing; Yes.
"All right, let's race." Sean said as he smiled.
Sean hooped in Nissan Silvia and drove towards his challenger. To his surprise, it was an American muscle car, the 1970 Plymouth Road Runner was the car that the challenger was driving. Sean pulled up next to his challenger; the challenger was a bald, middle-aged man who had some serious muscles.
"Nice ride." Sean commented as he glanced at the challenger's car, being very impressed.
"I won it from my friend, Han, years ago." The challenger said as he smirked.
Sean looked at him. "I didn't know he was into American muscle."
The man glanced at Sean and assured. "He did when he was rolling with me."
Sean smiled and said to the challenger. "You know this ain't no ten second race."
The man smiled too. "I got nothing but time." He revved the engine. "You ready, kid?"
Sean smiled and nodded. Neela walked between the two cars. Twinkie and the others were cheering for Sean. Neela faced the girl in front of Sean's car.
"Ready!" the girl said.
Sean revved his engine. Neela faced the girl in front of the challenger's car.
"Setto!" the other girl said.
The challenger revved his engine. Neela just walked forward a tad and yelled. "Go!"
Sean and the challenger drove away from the start. They began drifting across the garage and people were cheering for Sean. However, Sean was surprised by the challenger's skills, as he was able to keep up with Sean.
Once both Sean and the challenger headed outside the garage, the man drifted into his car and stopped. Confused, Sean also stopped his car just he saw the challenger stopped his car. Then, the man got out of the car and faced Sean.
Sean looked confused. "Um, what are you doing?"
The challenger crossed his arms. "Look, kid, I'm not here to race."
Sean looked confused again. "What do you mean? What going on here?"
"Look, kid, I came here because I want to bring Han's remains back home. That's why I asked your friend to talk with you." The man said.
Sean was confused, trying to comprehend what was happening. "Hold on a second. Twinkie said Han was family. He never told me anything about you or your friends."
"That's because Han wanted to keep his past with a secret after Gisele died. It was his way of couping with that loss. I wish I had helped him." Dom assured Sean, remorseful of not being there for Han after Gisele was killed while fighting against Deckard Shaw.
"What's your name? I've never asked about your name..." Sean asked.
"The name's Toretto, Dominic Toretto." The man replied. "Come, we have a lot to talk about."
Later, Sean and Dom were outside of the garage, where they stood on the balcony.
"You know, you've got some impressive driving skills, just like Han." Sean complimented Dom as he was grabbing his bag.
"Who said American muscle can't drift?" Dom asked.
"Yeah, well, Han told me the people who we choose to be around with let us know who we are. Guess I didn't know him very well." Sean admitted, recalling a conversation he had with Han prior to his death.
"Always playing it close to the vest." Dom told Sean. "How did you end up here anyway?"
"Well, my mom sent me here to live with my dad because I was a troublemaker back home and I had to avoid jail. That's where I met Han and he showed me the ropes." Sean explained his story to Dom.
"Didn't know Han would such a thing." Dom admitted, being genuinely surprised that Han played a mentor role to Sean.
Sean then grabbed his bag and opened it.
"Me and my friends found a couple of things from the crash site. Wasn't much left." Sean informed Dom as he grabbed Gisele's photo from the bag and handed it to Dom. "That's the Gisele girl you told me about, right?"
"Yeah." Dom inquired as he saw the picture, realizing that Han never moved on from her.
"Oh, yeah. There's one more thing." Sean added as he brought out Dom's silver cross necklace, which was left at the crash site. "I found this."
Dom then looked at the necklace and began reminiscing about his friendship with Han. Dom swore that he would make the man responsible for Han's death pay.
"Must have meant something to him." Sean told Dom. "When you find the guy who killed Han, what are you gonna do?"
"Words ain't even been invented yet." Dom admitted, as he didn't have many words to describe the loss of his friend.
His goal was clear now. He was more determined than ever to avenge his fallen friend and make the man responsible for his death suffer.
Deckard Shaw is going to die.
And that's the end of the story. If I want to describe the Fast and Furious movie for a second, they are highly entertaining movies that keep you on the edge of your seat and they're a guilty pleasure of mine.
Tokyo Drift has to be the most underrated film in the series, due to the amazing drifting scenes and Sung Kang as Han. I also liked Sean Boswell and I don't him annoying as much as everyone says. I really wished we saw an actual resolution to his race with Dom and I hope I was able to provide that with this story.
Let me know your thoughts on this story and I hope you enjoyed it. Stay safe everyone and take care.
