Lelouch got the rare chance to indulge in traditional Japanese dishes here in this alternative Japan and he was happy for it. The udon here was quite promising and was refined and it helped filled his belly whilst he planned for a trip into the library and see what divergences caused this timeline to exist. For once his thirst of knowledge has been expanded because the smallest choices in history could have changed many outcomes in the future and possibly new discoveries to help improve his situation and abilities.
Knowledge is power, and he loved that kind of power-for wit always triumphs over brawn in any situation. So, when he learned that Washington's Rebellion had succeeded in this timeline, he was ecstatic that Britannia did not exist here as it was only known as Great Briton and one of the few countries that follow the ways of monarchy. It had been humbled throughout the years compared to the arrogance of his country.
He read upon the World Wars I and II, the creation of the atomic bomb and how the calendar of this one differed from the one he lived in. The Ascension Throne Britannia calendar began in what was known as 55 BC and this timeline followed a time called After Death of a certain messianic figure and was currently 2004. He did his math, and the thirteen-year-old realized that his timeline if following AD was in 1949 with his current age.
There was no sakuradite in this world either, the source of many technological revolutions that allowed Britannia to become the superpower it had become...and the reason why Japan was invaded.
"Pfft. Even in different timelines Lelouch, Japan is destined to be the center point of a lot of calamities and changes in the world. I'd bet my money that someone of Japanese blood will be involved in something big in the future."
That voice, the voice of the entity that bonded with his soul and awoke to his power. It was his accomplice and true ally and will provide cryptic responses at time to help the prince with his journey. And what it said was true, then this Japan was going to be facing some sort of trouble.
Yet Behemoth told him this world would be one for respite, perhaps because this one is an era of peace the challenges aren't that high. If anything, easy fights are a welcome sight as he decided that this was a vacation from his future goal of obliterating Britannia. The question was...how was he going to get back?

Nanoha sulked in her room, the glass bottle holding the lone flower in it by her bedside as she sighed. The boy she found hurt was missing and there were no leads to his whereabouts, and it troubled her. Her father put a word in with some of his acquaintances about the boy and hopefully find him and learn what happened in the first place.
"Nanoha! Can you come down here and help?" her mother called out as it snapped her out of her thoughts as she made her way to the shop downstairs and froze the minute, she stepped in.
It was the boy she found, drinking tea in her family's cafe while reading a book in a classy manner completely healed and was without a clue of what was happening.
"Nanoha?" her mother spoke up, concern for her daughter that was frozen while she looked at their recent customer like he was some sort of ghost.
That caused the boy to pause from his reading as he looked up to see what the commotion was about. When she locked into his eyes, she saw how the pupil and limbal ring within his purple eyes were glowing white, giving off a rare, beautiful sight.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHhhhhh?!" Nanoha screamed out pointing at him as the boy soon realized whom she was.
"What a strange coincidence..." he mused dryly at the girl who found him in an alleyway.
*Several Minutes Later...*
The silence between girl and boy was heavy as they sat at the table for two. The boy himself nonchalant as he sipped his drink and continued to read while Nanoha sat in her seat fidgeting as she tried to come up with something to strike a conversation with. She didn't know what to speak and her head was spinning with desperation of a topic.
"...I never got to say this but thanks for your help the other day." the boy spoke up, breaking the nine-year-old out of her thoughts as she smiled at that. "It was nothing really, all I wanted to do was help someone who needed it." she replied.
Meanwhile Momoko Takamachi felt something click inside her head at the interaction between the two and developed a small smile at her daughter. She's aware of the subconscious attraction that her little girl had for the clueless foreigner. It's a small one that is developed by first encounters and if their interactions turn fruitful, sweet little Nanoha will develop an honest crush on him. They were only four years apart but that won't bother her since the legal age for boys to marry is eighteen and for girls is sixteen in Japan.
One thing is for sure, she's going to have fun teasing her little girl about her unaware crush on the boy in the future. One of the joys of being a mother that is the most amusing (terrifying) things is to talk about their own child with others.
Oh yesssss, she was definitely going to have fun with this ladies and gentlemen.
