21 hours later
Eyal and Jai's transport dropped them off at Eyal's house in DC, they walked up to the door Eyal took out the keys from his pocket he then unlocked the door and they went inside. Jai looked around and said " This is not the hospital, why are we here, who's house is this?" Eyal smiled and said "This is our house, I don't know about you but I could use a shower after the flight and before we go to the hospital so we don't bring any germs when we go see Annie. Your room is down at the hall restaurant on your left. You also have your own bathroom so feel free to shower. My room is at the end of the hall."
Eyal went to his room, and called Joan she picked up and said "Eyal where are you guys?" Eyal said "We just got to my house in town. How's my Neshama doing?" Joan said "She is doing better than before. The Dr.s are optimistic in trying to bring her out of her coma at 1:30 the Dr.s came in around 10:30." Eyal said " okay we will be there at 11:25 and it's 10:45 now so we will be there in 45 minutes, see you soon." Eyal hung up and I started to strip off his clothes and headed for the shower.
After eyal got out of the shower he got ready. After that he went into his closet and grabbed a backpack he then went back into the bedroom and went into his nightstand and I grabbed two ring boxes and put them in the backpack he then went into his other drawer and grabbed some Isreali chocolate. He went to find jai and found him in his room just thinking. When Eyal came in he said "Are you ready to go to the hospital to see our family?" Jai nodded and said "I'm excited to see everyone. What's in the bag?" Eyal said " some Israeli chocolate and a gift for Annie, now let's go."
They left the house and went in a car and went to the hospital. When they arrived at Harborview hospital, they entered the lobby of the hospital where Joan was holding baby Mac. Joan went and hugged Jai and said "I'm in total suck that you are alive, come on let's go see Annie. Jai, do you want to hold baby Mac?" he nodded and he took Mac from her. Joan then went over to Eyal and said "thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me, but why?" Eyal hugged her and said "You're Annie's family and I love her and you guys became my family and I owed Jay a favor." They arrived on the cardiatric floor and went to Annie's room. John was curious about something she said "Hey wait what did you call Annie when I called you, what does Neshama mean?"
Eyal said " I call Annie My Neshama and it means my soul or my spirit." Joan smiled when they went into the room and the saw Annie hooked up to so many machines Max started crying Jai handed Mac back to Joan, Eyal went to Annie's bedside he sat on the edge of her bed and reached out his hand and took hers and rubbed her knuckles. Just then a Dr. came in and said " I'm Dr.. Sandra Miller who are you to Ms. Walker?" Joan was about to speak but Eyal said "I'm Dr. Eyal Lavin I'm Mrs. Walker's Husband." Dr. Miller nodded and said " Well I want to try and Wake her up now with an experimental drug to try on her?" Eyal said "Can I think about it? I have my own team of specialists coming in to take care of my wife." Dr. Miller said," I understand completely I would do the same thing if my husband was sick."
She turned and left the room. Jai went to the other side of Annie's bed in the pulled up chair to her other side and touched her arm he said "Hey I know what happened to you I'm so sorry that I wasn't here, I'm here now, we are going to get you better, Eyal help me escape from the explosion so you need to wake up so I can see you." Joan said "Hey I'm going to go pick up some food and see where Arthur is with Aggie and Ryan. Oh I completely forgot that I called Annie's sister and Danielle. She should be here around 6:30, So what are you guys craving?" Jai looked at her and said "Five guys burger and fries I'll have a Ice-T and Eyal will have a Coke." Joan nodded and left the room. Eyal took out his backpack and pulled out two ring boxes that he put in there earlier. He opened one. It was a navy blue silicone wedding band with a little diamond on it. He slipped it on the ring finger of the hand he was holding. He then put on a matching band on his finger. When he took her hand back he brought it to his mouth and kissed it." He then said "Hey my sleeping beauty it's time to wake up now, come back to me, My Neshama, I need you, I love you So much, you are my life I will do anything for you." Just then she squeezed his hand.
Jai looked at Annie and said "Come on Annie, me and Eyal will take care of you and protect you I promise because you guys are my family and I love you guys dearly." Just then Arthur Came in and said " It's within you, I can't believe it. You were dearly missed, son." Arthur went to Jai and gave him a hug. When the hug ended Arthur turned to Eyal and said " Thank you, for bringing him back but why? Eyal said I love Annie and she loves your pseudo family, I would do anything for Annie and our family. By the way, if anyone asks, I'm Annie's husband." Arthur and Jai nodded, Arthur then said "I got Ryan McQuade and Auggie and just wife Tasha waiting in a conference room." Eyal nodded and stood up from the bed and he bent down and kissed her forehead and whispered "I will be back my beauty, everything will be okay, I promise my Neshama ."
Just then a man burst into the room, Jai stood up in order to shield Annie, Arthur stood up and said "Where the Hell have you been Ryan?" Eyal said "So you're Ryan?" Ryan said " Yes I am him, Who the Hell are you and why are you near my girlfriend?" Eyal snickered and said "You really don't know anything, I am Eyal Lavin and I'm Annie's husband and this is Jai Wilcox her very protective pseudo brother who was overseas for a few years and was assumed dead," Eyal turned to Arthur and Said "Dad can you watch over sleeping beauty over here, if anything happens or changes come get us ASAP." Arthur smiled at that and said "Of course I will look after her."
