The Bolero of Fire
Chapter 4: The Goron's Ruby final destination
It wasn't a big ceremony. It didn't remember anyone of Lord of the Gemstones. It simply was a matter of throwing a way too big ruby into a way to big crater while Sheik played the Bolero of Fire. It was also way to hot for anyone to actually throw the Goron's Ruby into the crater.
This is the story of a way too big Ruby which was supposed to be thrown into a way to big crater while some bard was trying to lure a gemstone towards its final destination… with magic.
Wham-Wham-Wham-Wham! Darunia hit his chest to wake himself up. His precious Goron's Ruby was in danger. Still this didn't remember anyone of Lord of the Gemstones. As he hit his chest, his own room trembled. But the door was closed. As Goron's didn't need to eat, all was well - he simply was awoken from some
"Hello? Can anyone open up the door? Okay… i need to try something else… Toot-Toot-Toot! Toot-Toot-Toot!" he mimicked Zelda's Lullaby.
That didn't work either. He needed to smash that door with his fist.
Wham!
But what now?

"Maybe… we need to summon a Great Fairy…" Saria thought out loud
"Look! There are some musical notes on this Triforce - of fire - emblem on the ground here!" Malon said
"That may be the rest of the Song of Fire!" Fado cried out
Fado had already tried to make the Goron's Ruby move by wind, but of course that didn't even work with Sarias help.
The only one who could play this song was Sheik, but Malon snatched the harp out of her hands.
"I need to try that out myself. I learned musical notes by myself."
By playing the extended Bolero of Fire, a stone in the crater erupted, leaving a hole underneath. She and Saria went into the hole, and they found a great fairy fountain.
"I need to make a sacrifice of a healing fairy here…" Saria let out one fairy out of the bottle.
Then she first played Zelda's Lullaby, but as that didn't work, she played Saria's Song instead.
With much laughter, a Great Fairy emerged.
"So that is how they look like, i always imagined them to be… different." Malon muttered.
"Oh Great Fairy, we humbly ask from you a Great Wonder…" Saria pleaded.
"Please come out into the crater of Mt. Doom and help us get rid of that Goron's Ruby."
"This is not how things work, Saria. But i could give you superhuman strength for just that one task."
She held out her hands and a yellow light emerged from her.
They emerged into the crater, and Saria threw the Goron's Ruby into the middle of the pit. Now the pit was cold, so the volcano went silent. They soon went into the Fire Temple again, to search for the Dragon Volvagia.

Darunia was still running and climbing the mountain. He began at dawn, but was up on the mountain at dusk. He felt so tired he went back to - Wham! - sleep at the entrance of Mt. Doom.

Malon, Saria and Fado felt as if a huge weight had been lifted from their shoulders. Still nobody remembered Lord of the Gemstones.

Now that got rid of two cursed gemstones which may have brought upon the destruction of the world.
