Sooo I rewrote the scene from Harry Potter but from Ron's perspective :)

I do not own any of the characters or dialogue. plot etc, that all belongs to J.K. Rowling. I simply took the dialogue and the scene and changed the perspective and the descriptions a bit.

IF YOU HAVE NOT READ ALL OF HARRY POTTER YOU MAY NOT WANT TO READ THIS BECAUSE OF SPOILERS

When Harry's namewas released from the Goblet of fire, Ron didn't understand. With the age line Dumbledore had drawn around the cup, it made it impossible for anyone under the age of 17 to enter their name. Ron didn't hear what went on after Harry went into a different room with the other champions, but he assumed it was chaotic. He specifically remembered Harry's name being drawn, and Dumbledore being dumbfounded. Hermione had to push Harry out of his seat, while Ron sat there, not yet sure of what to make out of it.

After he sorted out his feelings, Ron was angry at Harry; for somehow managing to get past that stupid age line. And why would Harry evenwantto be in the tournament anyway? Ron figured Harry would just view it as another way to possibly face death again, or even just as another thing he had to worry about on top of everything that was already going on. Ron wasn't worried much for Harry making it out of the Triwizard Tournament alive -- he knew Harry would be able to make it; after all he'd been through he no doubt had the skill, even against three other 17 year old wizards -- he was just angry, jealous even that Harry once again was in the spotlight. Ron and Harry were best friends, of course, but Harry's newfound fame made him jealous.

The night the Triwizard Champions were chosen, after dinner Ron stormed up to his dorm and lied on his four poster bed, thinking on how his best friend figured out how to pass the age line without even telling him. After a while the dormitory door opened, and sure enough it was Harry. Harry slammed the door behind him.If he's just been entered into the tournament why isn't he happy? He got what he wanted,Ron thought.

"Where've you been?" Harry asked him.

"Oh hello." Ron ignored his question.

Ron was smiling, but more of a mock smile, a grimace even.

"So, congratulations." Ron said in a mellow voice.

"What d'you mean, congratulations?"

"Well... no one else got passed the age line. Not even Fred and George. What did you use? The invisibility cloak?"

"The invisibility cloak would not have gotten me over that line." Harry said sternly.

"Oh right." Ron answered. "I thought you might've told me if it was the cloak… because it would've covered both of us. But you found another way didn't you?"

By now Ron's ears were scarlet with anger and disbelief. He was for sure Harry would've told him if he'd figured out a way to pass the age line, that was until now, when his name was drawn. But then there was the fact that there was only supposed to be three champions, how could Ron explain that?

Harry moved over towards his own bed, "Listen, I didn't put my name in that goblet. Someone else must've done it."

That's what he's been telling everyone all night,Ron thought bitterly.

"And what would they do that for?"

"Oh I don't know," Harry said sarcastically, "Maybe to kill me?" He said it as if it were obvious, which it should be, as that's pretty much Harry's life; someone always wants to kill him.

Ron didn't want to admit it, but somewhere inside him, he knew Harry was probably right. That if someonedidput Harry's name in the goblet, it was probably in attempt to get him killed. But Ron wasn't ready to back down yet.

"It's okay, you can tellmethe truth. If you don't want everyone else to know, fine, I don't know why your bothering to lie, you didn't get in trouble for it, did you? That friend of the Fat Lady's, that Violet, she's already told us all that Dumbledore's letting you enter. A thousand Galleons prize money, eh? And you don't have to do end of year tests either..."

"I didn't put my name in that Goblet!!" Roared Harry, who was obviously angry by now.

"Yeah okay… only you said it this morning you'd have done it last night, and no one would've seen you...I'm not stupid you know!" Ron had sat up on his bed now, infuriated.

"Well your doing a good impression of it." Harry retorted.

"Yeah?" Said Ron, adjusting his pillows, "You'll want to get to bed, Harry. I expect you'll need to be up early tomorrow for a photo-call or something." and with that, Ron pulled shut the privacy curtains around his bed, blocking Harry and the rest of the room from his sight.
