Their odds were impossible. Outnumbered a thousand to one. As the horde of monsters stormed the Keep.
"The stone!" Van Helsing cried. "Protect the stone!"
He rushed over, whipping out magic spells and a harpoon cannon to hold fast against the ghosts and fish monsters headed his way. He managed to impale one, and blasted another spirit back into Limbo. He grabbed the stone and began rushing away, opening fire with all of his weapons at the monsters.
Lynne saw this as the last thing she needed. First her daughter, now her son. As if this unholy night couldn't get any worse…
"Hahahahahahaha! Come on, I'll kill ALL of ya!"
Well, at least Mr. Hyde was having fun killing zombies with the Sins. Meanwhile, Ben found himself struggling against Imhotep.
"You are a foolish mortal to stand against me! You have known death before, but this time, you shall serve me!"
"Oh f-!"
He rolled to dodge a mystic blast, retreating with cover fire from his rifle.
"Yes, run! It will not save you!"
The Gill-Man seemed startled by the chaos. That's when another window shattered. And a large furry beast dropped down.
"LAWRENCE!"
The vampire king's words seemed to boom through the keep. The Wolf Man howled and charged right at the Gill-Man, who garbled in a panic and dodged the claw swipes. He struck with his spear, only for the werewolf to snap it in half.
"Urp!"
Psari ducked another claw swipe and blasted water at the Wolf Man, who howled with anger as the Gill-Man tried extending more fire before it could spread. Seeing this, Bigfoot got an idea.
"FISH MAN! HERE!"
He grabbed the Gill-Man and tossed him into the water wall, splashing upon entry. Instantly, the Gill-Man refueled as Bigfoot slammed the Wolf-Man down with both fists.
And when the Creature came back out, something else did with him. Nessie let out a massive roar as it grabbed the Wolf-Man in its jaws, then slammed him to the ground and threw him into another wall.
"Good…Nessie…"
Amidst the chaos in the Keep, Van Helsing found himself chased by the harpy forms of Dracula's three brides. With a whistle, he called on the Jersey Devil to attack them, then retreated to another section to reload…
When a machete hit the wall next to him!
Van Helsing readied his twin gun-swords and whirled around. The Boogeyman only cackled as a shadowy figure with a hockey mask stepped forward, recalling the machete as others appeared. The Killers.
"Surrender the stone…or your blood is spilled."
"I've hunted all KINDS of monsters. Serial killers don't come close…"
Van Helsing charged, blades clashing as he fired at the Killers. He blocked a chainsaw with another sword before firing a shotgun at the cannibal. Cory, meanwhile, was shocked and impressed. He was easily holding his own against all seven of them!
"Woah…"
It was then that he saw a massive shadowy bat roar and dive towards him!
"WOAH!"
He rolled out of the way as the bat landed as a cloud of darkness. And the ugly vampire inside laughed.
"Come, humans! I will drain you of all of your blood!"
Orlok cackled once more before attacking! Cory only blocked his fangs with his blade and slammed his shield against him.
Meanwhile, the Man-made Monster faced God once more. And he laughed.
"This charade AGAIN, Henry?" Dracula himself asked as Maria began dueling Bloody Mary just nearby. "You know how this ends…"
"One home wasn't enough?!"
"I tear down ALL that stands in my way. If you refuse to relinquish that stone…you die."
"Well…I guess I'll do so. Besides…I've died before."
"This time, you're not coming back."
The two titans of terror dueled once again, sword against hammer. Frankenstein headbutted the vampire before swinging his hammer down hard on the vampire, who formed into a cloud of darkness to appear behind the monster, only to receive an elbow to the face before another hammer swing sent him flying back.
"Insolent soul!"
Frankenstein countered a blast of red fire with green lightning fired from his hammers. Dracula managed to grab the lightning and toss it right back at Frankenstein. However, all it did was heal himself.
"Thanks. I needed that…"
He charged at Dracula again, this time landing a dropkick with those large shoes. The vampire roared as he felt something break, only for him to quickly regenerate.
"You DARE strike your god?! You will pay DEARLY for this transgression!"
The battle continued as the monsters continued their rampage. The Invisible Man went toe to toe with Alucard, his senses able to pick up any noise made. I.G.O.R., meanwhile, fired like mad at a horde of zombies. Even the superheroes found themselves outnumbered, with the mages doing all they could to hold the horde back.
Suddenly, a werewolf blitzed by, and suddenly I.G.O.R. heard some sparking. He looked at his right arm, and only wires and sparks were shown!
"AHHH NO! WHY?!" He cried.
"I.G.O.R.! Your arm!" Erin cried.
"Yeah, I know! Every single TIME!"
"Wait, you dealt with this before?!"
"YES! And this was the ONE HUNDREDTH TIME!"
I.G.O.R. kept firing as he retreated for cover. All the while, Van Helsing's Hunting Party and the Midnight Society did everything they could to get the Creation Stone away from the monsters. Primor tried escaping the keep, but Dracula's dark magic put up barriers so there was no escape!
"I'm open, I'm open! OOF!"
A large chunk of a bookshelf tossed by a strong monster knocked Arach-Kid to the ground.
"I'm not open…" He groaned.
Super Duper quickly swiped the stone and tried flying out a shattered window, only to hit the barrier there! And more dark magic slammed him down.
"Fool! There is no escape!" Dracula laughed before turning back to Lucy, who continued to slam Lushara to the ground before kicking her aside. It was then that she turned to her wincing brother in pain…
His eyes shooting open with a pale red glow.
Now having succumbed to the curse as well, the Hellhound's three heads roared and unleashed a torrent of hellfire, all while Dracula easily wounded and defeated all his adversaries, ending with slashing Van Helsing across the face with a claw, giving him a scar over an eye and making the hunter scream in pain, dropping the stone.
"Once again, you have failed. As have your forefathers in THEIR quest to stop me." Dracula said, collecting the final Moonstone. "Now, your end is near…"
The Wolf Man only broke free of the rubble he was trapped under and roared viciously as the Keep burned. Dracula only sighed.
"Lucille. Randal. Put this dog down…"
The two hybrids roared as Lucy tackled the Wolf Man, tossing him out of the Keep before she and Randy followed, the Hellhound climbing up to the window before heading through. Dracula only had a cloud of darkness envelop himself and all of his followers.
"Do you see now, mortals? This was inevitable! You cannot stop a new age from dawning! The reign of humanity is OVER!"
Van Helsing coughed up blood as Dracula vanished into the darkness. And from outside, those in Vorsheer Village saw a massive explosion blow a hole open behind the Warriors' Rest.
From one last defeat…the end had begun…
