Tekken 2
We all know (those who played or read Tekken) what Kazuya was doing during his Zaibatsu reign.
Arc 1.
1. Kazuya Mishima (Devil) vs Prototype Jack
Under Kazuya's order, Dr. Bosconovitch restores and enhances Prototype's body. The current head of Mishima Zaibatsu puts his power to the test. The Power obliterates Prototype, leaving no traces of his remains
And his new recruits will test their fighting skills against a dinosaur and kangaroo.
2. Bruce Irvin vs Alex
Former Muay Thai world heavyweight champion was discovered by Tekken Force at the place of crashed plane.
3. Ganryu vs Roger
Kazuya saw he could have some use from Sumo Wrestler.
4. Wang Jinrei vs Lee Chaolan (Choice)
Meanwhile, Wang Jinrei knowing what Kazuya was doing, persuades Lee Chaolan to go against his new employer and trains him for the upcoming King of Iron Fist Tournament 2.
4. Jack 2 vs other Jacks
During the warfare test one of the Jacks discovers a little human girl, which triggers some human consciousness within. The same Jack flees from the battlefield with the girl, which didn't go unnoticed by the rest robots.
5. Baek Doo Sanvs Jeet Kune Do students
The greatest Tae Kwon Do practicioner in searches for worthy opponent, thrashed various dojo and hospitalised their masters and daring students. Eventually he discovers Marshall Dojo, managed by Law himself. And the cycle repeats.
Arc 2.
The 2nd tournament begins. Familiar faces has returned. Newcomers has arrived. Old hatreds, new rivals. Let the tournament begin.
1. Paul Phoenix vs Kuma
Both fighters had tried their new tricks. But Paul still beats bear and advances.
2. Yoshimitsu vs Kunimitsu
Not long before the 1st Tournament. Kunimitsu was expelled from Manji clan when she got caught for robbing their own vault. Her grandfather fruitlessly tried to make a replica of Yoshimitsu's sword. And the Devil Cat decides to retrieve the original.
Samurai decimates Kunoichi and defends his treasured sword.
3. Nina Williams vs Anna Williams
Same feud. Same cause. And previous tournament repeats.
4. Armor King vs King
During the timeskip, King and Armor King went from rivals to sparring partners.
After one of the orphans dies under his care. King gotten himself into binge drinking to futilely supress his depression and emptiness.
Until he was confronted by Armor King who reminded him about his principles. Together they've continued their wrestling career. Armor King even helped King in his orphanage business.
Because of his rock bottom state, the Yellow Jaguar has gotten a bit rusty, while Black one has kept himself in shape. And this time Armor King claims the victory.
5. Marshall Law vs Baek Doo San
Law receives his awaited chance to avenge his students. Both Marshall and Baek were Master's League. In the end Jeet Kune Doer serves justice and goes up.
6. Lei Wulong vs Bruce Irvin
It isn't part of his assignment. But it's huge bonus. Bruce accidentally killed his opponent during last match at Thai Land. Former champion fleed by the plane where he was confronted by Lei's partner and Syndicate Assassin. Plane crashed killing the cop and the mob and leaving Bruce alive.
Both fighters' life demands to constantly polish their skills. In the end Lei's five animals Kung Fu outmatches Bruce's Muay Thai.
Bruce in rush detonates smoke grenade and flees the arena.
7. Michelle Chang vs Ganryu
The Rikishi was sent to retrieve the magical pendant carried by Michelle Chang. Ganryu however got infatuated by the Arizonan's beauty, that factor alone has caused him to lose his focus and a fight.
8. Jun Kazama vs Wang Jinrei
The wildlife surveillance officer got lead, that Mishima Zaibatsu got involved into smuggling protected animals. If Jun Kazama will win the tournament she might find all the answers she seeks.
Until then Jun puts up a fight against the legend Wang Jinrei.
Both competitors, barely standing, were not willing to let up. The old master has noticed some strange, powerful and yet calming aura within Jun. Kazama's bloodline connects it's bearers to nature and brings light to the darkness. That factor might settle the issue hiding behind the tournament's image.
Wang forefeits the tournament, enlightening Jun about the awaiting dangers.
Arc 3.
The next day, when fighters has refreshed their strenght. The 2nd round starts now.
1. Paul Phoenix vs Yoshimitsu
Kenjutsu or Ninjutsu and some Manji Jujutsu, Yoshimitsu normally fights relying on his weapon. His sword could kill, which is barred within the tournament, so he had to go hand to hand.
Paul easily exceeds Yoshimitsu in hand to hand department and wins the fight.
2. Nina Williams vs Armor King
Ruthlessness goes through the roof between competitors. Armor King used to battle in arranged Wrestling matches within reasonable rules. While Nina fights as if her life depends on it.
As assassin it's her job to know how the world works and how to fight dirty without breaking the rules. Therefore Nina Williams goes to the quarter-finals.
3. Marshall Law vs Lei Wulong (choice)
You would've seen that bout only in Kung Fu movies and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ending which ends with draw. Who knows? Maybe Bruce Lee lookalike would've won or Jackie Chan lookalike. Either way none of 2 are meant to win the tournament.
4. Jun Kazama vs Michelle Chang (choice)
Ganryu has mentioned something about his quest to retrieve Michelle's pendant. She wondered does this have something to do with her father's death and mother's disappearance?
Michelle now gets more determined to win this tournament and beat the answers out of Kazuya Mishima. After she beats Jun that is.
Jun herself was determined to increase her chances to uncover the whole truth about missing animals and evil presence within Kazuya's soul.
If I am being honest, Kazama blood is given only to supress devil gene, it's never said about dealing with normal beings.
Not to favor anyone I have to take them both out in a draw.
Arc 3.
1. Kazuya Mishima vs Nina Williams
The night after the round. Nina sneaks into Zaibatsu HQ to complete her task assassinating Kazuya. Tomorrow is semi-final due to latter 2 draws and she was not willing to risk losing a fight against loudmouth but nevertheless backing up his claims Paul Phoenix
Kazuya unfortunately had sensed her presence and knocks Nina out cold and gives herself to recent Bosconovitch's cryogenic research.
But the fight was far from over.
2. Jun Kazama vs Kazuya Mishima
The wildlife cop teamed up with Michelle, Lei, Yoshimitsu and Jack-2.
After recieving every hit Kazuya's was getting harder and harder. Just who is this woman Jun Kazama.
3. Michelle Chang, Lei Wulong, Yoshimitsu and Jack-2 vs Tekken Force.
The fighters has separated dealing with their own tasks.
Michelle finally finds her captured mother and together they flee the base.
Yoshimitsu alongside with Jack, finds Dr. Bosconovitch to repay the debt for saving his life and fixing his left hand during failed raid. And Jack figures that if he helps the doc, he might make the robot more human.
Lei was gathering all the evidences he could find about Kazuya's work.
4. Angel vs Devil
Inside Kazuya's mind another presence has made it's glimmering appearance. Is this from Jun? Whatever it is it's appeared and felt to be soothing and... "Angelic"?!
Whatever happens next you might figure that out...
Arc 4.
Paul Phoenix was the only fighter remaining to participate and he gets his rematch against Kazuya Mishima. The battle would take place far away from current location. And Toughest in the Universe rides on his bike to even the score.
His ambitions weren't meant to be since he got jammed in front of the huge rock and he spent so long to break it and he was late, thus leading him to forefeit.
Just when Kazuya intended to rebuild his reign over Mishima Zaibatsu, his long past catches up to him.
1. Heihachi Mishima vs Kazuya Mishima
This can't be! The despised old man survived the fall. Heihachi was biding his time, training hard like never before even his youth.
With improved father and son's supressed Devil. Heihachi decimates Kazuya takes body and flees by helicopter out of these grounds.
They reach the volcano where the former Mishima Zaibatsu head throws his son and thus making sure he would never come back.
With Kazuya out of the picture, nothing stood in Heihachi's way to reclaim what's rightfully his.
2. Heihachi Mishima vs Lee Chaolan
Suspecting his adopted son in betrayal. Heihachi expels Lee from Zaibatsu with the worst beating of Snow Devil's life.
When Nina's fate has reached her ears Anna concluded that when her older sister awakens she will remain in her youth, while Anna would age, which is why she discovers Dr. Bosconovitch and volunteers to go through cryosleep experiment.
Though he completed his goal, Bosconovitch was unable to humanise Jack. But Jane, the little girl who Jack saved during his botched mission has gotten used to her friend's robotic appearance. Together they've hidden themselves at the separate island spending their bonding days as father and daughter.
And it's good thing they've cherished their memories. Because eventually, while Jane was playing with butterfly, Jacks location was discovered by laser spacecraft which hits the robot from above. When girl discovers the damage she got determined to bring her father figure back to life.
During the a month after the tournament's end, King was competing in various underground wrestling competitions, thus winning some money for his orphans' presents for Christmas. Unfortunately even with some Armor King's help he couldn't get a lot.
The jaguar masked man returning home, observes through the window, how on of his helpers and orphans decorates the home inside.
King leaves all boxes he could get at the doorstep and departs. Or would've hadn't kids noticed him and greeted their hero and caretaker.
To them no Christmas present would replace their time with their father figure King.
One year has passed since the end of King of Iron Fist Tournament 2. Michelle Chang proceeded her usual peaceful routine. Eventually her mother has lived the rest her days and passed away. It was a very tough period for Michelle. But eventually she realised it's imminence and continued living her life.
One day she discovers an abandoned neonatal girl. Realising the the kid will perish alone in the desert, Michelle adopts the child and gives her a name "Julia".
Returning to Yakushima, Jun discovers that she was pregnant. These nine months very hellish to put it lightly, put she got through it and gave a birth to the boy and gave him a name "Jin"
Their lifes were with typical hardships and blessings as a single mother and a young son. But together they will overcome them.
For 15 years Jin often wondered. Who is his father? How he and Jun have met? Jun herself was steadily giving some vague answers.
On recent birthday Jun spoke. That if something would happen to her, he should seek his grandfather from father's branch: Heihachi Mishima.
Writing fighting pairs without making plot armoristic results will become more difficult, the further i write this fic.
Nevertheless was this story convincing enough about the tournament?
