As the entire castle began to crumble and shake around him, Van Helsing felt trapped. He couldn't move under all this debris pinning him.

This couldn't be how his story ended. He didn't even find someone to help continue his family! He was the last of his line! An only child!

All around the universe, the monsters were winning. Super Duper found himself overwhelmed. Gira ripped off the Mantis' claws and blasted it with a concentrated beam of green fire, blowing through its head. But it was then overrun by more Kaijus.

Bigfoot was cowering as he and Sasquacth were being frozen by Everest. The younger brother only hugged the elder, embracing their end as everyone else became overwhelmed.

Mirpo yelled as he lost control of his U.F.O., the saucer crash-landing in the ground and the Beast toppled, rolled, and crashed. Smolder was wounded, but Wargon let out a roar of fury, charging defiantly into the horde and killing as many as he could, even when overwhelmed.

Vampires, werewolves, ghosts, robots,

Van Helsing's mind began racing. Giving up wasn't in his nature. Dracula was still out there, possibly killing people! There had to be a way to end this damn Eternal Night once and for all!

He looked around for answers. The Moonstone Machine was still firing its crimson red beam of dark magical energy. But how could he possibly shut it off?!

That's when Van Helsing noticed something amidst the shaking rubble. Something he hadn't even thought about: His greatest invention. His saving grace. His miracle worker. His Deus Ex Machina.

His Transformation Ray, sitting on the ground after being dropped from an attack!

Van Helsing looked at the ray. Then at the machine. Then the ray again…

And then…he got an idea.

His Badass Boss Battle playlist ended with the current song, with the next one playing being none other than his favorite motivational song: A mashup of Children of the Sun and None Shall Live. With his Monster Armor equipped, save for the helmet, Van Helsing pushed up as hard as he could!

With a roar of determination, he threw the debris right off of him! He then made a mad dash for the ray, dodging falling debris and doing a rolling dive to pick the ray up. The crystal was armed and charged, so he set the setting to Natural. The crystal began glowing green as he raced for the balcony.

Even when more debris blocked the doorway completely, Van Helsing didn't stop. He shoulder tackled his way through, blowing a massive hole in the blockade!

He then jammed the crystal-end of the device right into the rear of the machine. Instantly, he felt the power of all seven Moonstones flow into the ray, and into his own Monster Armor. The energy was so much…it nearly began to kill him.

Roaring through the pain, Van Helsing toughened it out. He aimed the ray steady, waiting for it to be completely still and charge up all the way. It was time to literally shoot for the moon.

50%...60%...70%...80%...90%...

And the moment it hit one hundred percent, Abraham Van Helsing The Second finally got the chance to dramatically and edgley utter his all-time favorite badass one-liner to end all badass one-liners...

"Die, monster. You don't belong in this world…"

He then pulled the trigger with a CHICK, and…

KA-FWOOM!

The explosion of energy nearly blasted Van Helsing back, but he felt his blonde hair flapping in the wind as he heard himself screaming with effort!

Supercharged by the seven Moonstones, which were pushed to their absolute limits, the energy beam went from a ghostly red to a slimy green, shooting towards the moon in mere seconds! It slammed into the moon's crater even more stronger than the red beam, and the green energy began spreading like Monster Blood across the lunar surface.

You see, dear reader, Fier originally cursed the moon to mutate and deform the sunlight it reflected off, to allow vampires, werewolves, and all kinds of monsters to roam the night freely. The seven Moonstones were made to, upon bringing about the Eternal Night, to completely negate and nullify the sun's light reflecting off the moon.

So…before we continue…can you tell me what the Transformation Ray can do? If it can turn monsters into humans…then it can make bad energy good.

Then…what does THAT plus all seven Moonstones mean?

Yes. The sunlight that gets reflected off the moon gets SUPERCHARGED. Remember? Back at the very first chapter of this book? You have a great memory…

So…do you know what supercharged sunlight means?

Yes. Three simple words.

No. More. Monsters.

Imagine the brightest light you've ever seen. How about your phone when you forget to turn down the brightness when looking at it at night when you're sleeping?

Good. Now, imagine that one hundred thousand fold.

That's what happened when Van Helsing finally brought an end to the Eternal Night.

The magically-enchanted light was so bright, it could be seen through all realms. The Shadow Realm. Nether. The Comic Book Dimension. Even the Mystic Realm.

The monster horde and everyone else yelled and screamed in pain as they covered their eyes. The magic began working instantly. Monsters that were cursed reverted back into human forms. The mind control wore off as the living puppets dropped to the ground, unconscious.

All words ended up being completely blinded by the immense light, with no shadow and darkness being safe.

Dracula, the God of Monsters and the ultimate nightmare to end all nightmares, screeched and roared in pain and agony as his eyes saw the supercharged sun. And he found his form burning up…and turning to stone.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He wailed with fear for the very first time in centuries. "THIS CANNOT BE!"

Cory only stood back up, fighting back against the pain, and no longer afraid of the nightmare that was before him.

"It is." He said seriously.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Dracula raised his hands to the sky, his wings unfurled, as Cory began walking away from him and towards Lisa. Just when everyone else rushed up.

They all saw what happened next: What Lisa saw happen in slow motion. The blue fire scorched Dracula greatly, turning him into a massive statue with veins that began glowing a bright blue light…

Before it epically and awesomely exploded behind Cory, who never looked back.

The blue magical light pulsed out like a single shockwave. Like a magic E.M.P.

And in mere moments, it was daytime again.

All across the realms, cheers and roars of victory were heard.

"The nightmare! It's over!" A civilian in Hollowville gasped. "It's finally over!"

Coming to and free from mind control, Everest happily hugged his twin brothers. Bigfoot ended up crying like mad as Sasquatch smiled.

The threat having passed, the Galactic Government began to leave, as the Makai to pay tribute to their fallen king. Super Duper and Arach-Kid returned to their flat world as the most heroic of them all. The Amazons, Yetis, and Atlanteans all returned to their respective hidden cities as well.

"WOO-HOO!" I.G.O.R. cheered. "THAT WAS AWESOME! And no one I knew even died! BONUS!"

The Loch Ness Monster only swam back into the lake as the Jersey Devil flew off.

Dracula's castle began to collapse, with Van Helsing snatching the shattered remains of all seven Moonstones, then using his Monster Armor's wings to fly out of there, just as the castle started falling to the ground.

Meanwhile, Lisa was in awe at what she had just seen, an expression of excitement on her face.

"I…" She sniffed. "I think I just peed a little. Best…Halloween…EVER!"

"Ever?!" Cory broke the seriousness with laughter. "We almost DIED! But seriously, was that super COOL?! I was ALMOST tempted to look back and run, but I just stuck to my original plan and I am SO glad that I did!"

That's when he realized something. How was he going to tell…?

Suddenly, a bat-like figure landed down epically. And when it rose, Cory couldn't believe it!

"LUCY!"

Dina rushed up and happily gave her beloved a hard kiss on the lips, the bat girl eagerly returning it. Meanwhile, Cory found himself stammering.

"Wha-I-You're ALIVE?!" He asked. "HOW?!"

That's when a second figure landed. Clad in green armor.

"Abe! Y-You too?!"

"In the flesh." He smirked. "Mission accomplished. Guess magic works in mysterious ways…"

Using his magic, he instantly healed Cory and Lisa. Then he turned back to Lucy and Dina, hugging each other happily.

"I…I thought he…" Dina sobbed. "How did you come back?"

"I'm half demon. Duh." Lucy smiled. "Anything fatal to you is but a scratch to us."

"So…how long is this day gonna last?"

"Probably until tomorrow." Van Helsing answered Lisa. "Well…I guess it IS tomorrow now. Then in that case…until 6:00 P.M."

"And one more thing." Frankenstein asked. "Drac's gone for GOOD now, right? I'm not gonna have to fight him again in a hundred years?"

"I dunno. Seemed like his very being was obliterated in that blast." Lisa stated. "There's nothing left. Not even a super vampire like that could've survived that supercharged sunlight."

"I set my ray to Natural." Van Helsing stated. "With all seven Moonstones, that undid the dark magic on the moon. And in turn, that seemed to obliterate Dracula completely. Right down to the soul. Finally, I've done what my family never could. I ended him for good, once and for all."

"And where ARE these Moonstones?" Jack Griffin asked. "Were they destroyed along with the castle? I saw it collapse. And feared the worst."

"Doctor, you and Henry should know better by now." Abe smirked. "It'll take a lot more than a crumbling castle to get rid of THESE babies."

He showed everyone the fragments. Supernatural energy began to seep through them, and miraculously, the pieces began to fuse back together. In a matter of seconds, the seven Moonstones reformed as if they were never shattered in the first place.

"Woah…" Cory gasped. "Just like the Horrorland tickets…"

"Just…what are you gonna do with them?" Lisa asked.

"Keep them safe. That's what." Van Helsing said. "I even got an idea from them back with the machine. How does Moonstone-powered amulets sound?"

"Of course…" Maria realized. "Alice stated that Victor had the Creation Stone in HIS amulet when he fought Frankenstein!"

"Oh, I'm thinking bigger. Seven new amulets, plus one more that can harness ALL of them."

"That…sounds pretty dangerous…" Lisa stated.

"Danger is our family's middle name. I know what I'm doing."

"Yeah, no kidding." Hyde stated. "You gotta go somewhere deadly to get a replacement for that crystal?"

Van Helsing looked back at his Transformation Ray. It was deactivated, with the crystal a dead gray.

"Seems like it. Guess we were all pushed to our limits tonight." He said as Hyde became Jekyll once again. "No worries. I've been to the Amazon caves before. Should be a walk in the park.

"And we lost others, too." Ellie stated. "Lucifer gave his life to stop Dracula. I felt it."

"So…I guess I'm the Queen of Hell now." Lucy stated. "But I don't live as long as the rest of the Makai. So I'm gonna live my life how I want to. And that's right here. In the world I was born and raised in."

"Yeah…" Cory added. "Speaking of the future, maybe it's time I started thinking about mine…"

It scared him more than anything. And he loved it.
