Disclaimer: I don't own Mario.

"Woohoo!"

Mario was feeling very cheerful.

The Italian Plumber was on vacation at Isle Delfino. He had travelled there to relax in the tropical paradise with Luigi, Peach and Daisy. The four of them were on the beach, tossing a ball amongst themselves. The warm atmosphere had put Mario in a mood as warm and bright as the sun in the blue sky.

"Over-a to you, Daisy!" Luigi called, tossing the ball to his girlfriend.

"Catch, Peach!" Daisy cried as she knocked it to her best friend.

"Get it, Mario!" Peach squealed before hitting the ball to her boyfriend.

"A-catch, Luigi!" Mario shouted upon striking it straight towards his younger brother.

Bonk!

"Ow-ow-ow-ow-ow!"

Mario had hit the ball with such force that it had trashed into Luigi'a face. It bounced off his nose before flying towards the water. The others watched with dismay as it disappeared beneath the waves with a splash.

"Noooooo!" Mario wailed. "My a-ball!"

"Owwwwww!" Luigi groaned. "My a-nose!"

"Aww!" Peach wailed. "Our ball has gone into the water!"

"Geez!" Daisy huffed. "Guess it's game over!"

"Nice a-going, Luigi!" Mario snapped as he marched over to his brother. "You a-spoiled the game!"

"Me?!" Luigi exclaimed. "You were the one who a-hit me so hard with the ball! It wouldn't have a-bounced off into the water if you had been a-more careful!"

"Well it's your a-fault for having big nose!" Mario scowled as he tapped his younger sibling's hooter.

"I have big nose?!" Luigi widened his eyes. "Look who's a-talking! You have big nose as well as big head, big brother!"

"Now wait-a just minute!"

The brothers began to bicker and throw insults at one another. Peach sighed while Daisy rolled her eyes. They were embarrassed by the behaviours of their boyfriends. The two of them were grown men, yet were acting like a pair of grade school kids.

"Stop it!"

Mario and Luigi ceased their squabbling upon hearing Peach about at them. They turned towards the blonde princess who was looking at them with a stern gaze.

"I won't have you two arguing here," she scolded. "The four of us are here on vacation. We are supposed to be having fun, not having any arguments!"

"I agree!" Daisy said, casting a similar frown towards her boyfriend. "Luigi, is there anything you'd like to say to your brother?"

"Alright," Luigi murmured, feeling bad for the tension he had partially caused. "I'm sorry, Mario."

"And what about you, Mario?" Peach asked. "Is there something you would like to say?"

Mario was staring out towards the water. He watched with a heavily dismayed expression as the waves lapped onto the shore. Somewhere at the bottom of the sea was his ball. He had made sure to take it with him to play with on their vacation. Now he was mourning its untimely loss.

"Mamma Mia…" Mario could only say - before throwing himself with a roar onto Luigi, resulting in the two brothers fighting one another on the beach, much to the embarrassment of the princesses.

The end.
