Chapter 1.
"James stop messing with that!"Lily screeched.
James laughed a little and shook his head. He was messing with their fathers new time turner. It could go back 100 years.
"Sorry Lil, but I want to see what happens!" James laughed.
"Al! Talk some sense into him!" Lily complained as she sat in a nearby chair.
Al nodded, "James, this is not a good idea. Put it down!"
Before James could reply he dropped the time turner on the wooden floor. It broke in two unequal pieces. There was a moment of silence, the three siblings stared at each other and a moment later a light engulfed them and the three Potters were gone.
When they fell to the floor they looked at their surroundings. They were in the Gryffindor Common Room.
"How did we get to Hogwarts? We're on winter break!Lily questioned.
"I don't know but something seems a bit off," Albus pointed out.
James nodded in agreement as he said, "Its a time turner so maybe we are at Hogwarts before break."
Suddenly Albus looked disturbed and took a look around to see if anyone was there.
"What is it?" asked Lily curiously.
"What if we're in a time before we got to Hogwarts? What if we are not even born yet? What if we're in our parents' time? What if we're fifty feet away from the Marauders?" Albus explained.
Just then they heard voices and sprinted off.
"That was close," James said panting heavily.
Lily and Albus nodded in agreement.
"So aren't you and Flower going on a date tonight?" Sirius asked with a smirk.
A dreamy smile casted over James Potter's face as he nodded slowly. He nodded as if it was the last time he'd ever go on a date with Lily Evans. Sirius would have thought they might of broke up buthedid this every date he went on with Lily.
The two boys walked into an empty Gryffindor Common Room and sat there for some time and talked. A moment later Lily walked into the room.
"Hey James!" She said with a smile.
He pulled her in for a kiss and whispered something in her ear. She giggled. All of their friends could agree that James and Lily were perfect for each other.
Just as they were about to continue they saw three heads sprint from the corner and run out of the Common Room.
"That's peculiar," Lily noted.
James and Sirius wholeheartedly agreed. The three of them noticed that two of them had black hair and one and flowing red hair. Just as they were about to continue their conversation Remus walked in.
"Did you see that?" Remus asked, gesturing to the door behind him.
