Calvin definitely did not expect things to turn out like this when he came to Pine Wood Ridge for college. With Hayley going all the way to New Tech City, both of them had decided to split off instead of trying a long-distance relationship. There were other factors too, which had come out during their heated argument. As it turned out, well he was gay. Both of them had thought they loved each other, and they definitely did, just not romantically. So much for Summer Cove's most popular couple.

As much as Calvin had tried to deny it, he was undoubtedly attracted to men. As Hayley had scornfully pointed it out, he could hardly take his eyes off the Romero brothers whenever they were sparring shirtless or Preston that one time his spell went awry and left him in his birthday suit in the middle of their ranger headquarters or even Victor, when he was volunteering as a life guard to get some medal.

And the biggest red signal, he never reciprocated Hayley's attempts to have sex and more importantly, he never thought of sex with girls and when he tried to, it made him very uncomfortable.

Hayley was… he loved her but he was forced to confront the truth. He was never physically attracted to her. The thought of him and Hayley together was nice. He could see them with kids and a nice house. The thoughts in his head were pleasant, idealistic but never detailed. And he could never imagine himself being intimate with her.

All his wet dreams that he had tried so hard to ignore were about hot guys.

He wished it was different though. He wished he could be a standard heterosexual guy or pretend to be one for the rest of his life but Hayley was right… He would only end up hurting other people as well as himself in the process. He didn't need to come out to everyone he knew and wave a rainbow flag from the rooftops but he did need to be honest, at least to himself and allow himself the freedom to like who he wanted to like and he did…

And a whole world of opportunities opened up to him. He blushed at the memories.

It was the day after Hayley had left for New Tech City, Levi had invited him to a sleepover in his apartment to cheer him up. Sarah was at her dad's at Stone Canyon, Brody having applied to the Ninja Academy in Blue Bay Harbour and Preston in Briarwood.

"I am gay." He blurted out after one too many pizzas and coke.

"I know." Levi said. "And I'm really happy you figured it out."

"You do? But I didn't know myself-" He fumbled for words.

"Chill, Calvin." Levi laughed. "I didn't know for sure but I suspected. You set off my gaydar so many times. And you weren't exactly subtle when you were checking me out or Brody or Preston or Victor or Chad-"

"Okay, I get it." Calvin rubbed the back of his head. "Wait, are you gay too?"

"Took you a long time to catch up, genius." Levi smirked. "It's not a secret. I came out last year with my second album."

"Oh…" He murmured. "I never checked out much celebrity stuff or music stuff- But that's cool!"

"You are not alone, Calvin." The former gold ranger told him earnestly, joining their hands. "Whatever you need, you know you can always come to me. Any questions, stuff, talking about crushes, well except your crush on Brody. I definitely don't want to hear about that." He broke off with a laugh. "But seriously, Cal, anything you need, I'm there."

"Um… Thanks. I'll keep that in mind." Calvin blushed, looking at Levi. He had noticed it before but hadn't appreciated it then. Levi was hot! His dreamy brown eyes, smooth tanned skin, flawless jawline and God, his muscles!

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Levi smirked.

"Sorry… I didn't mean to…" Calvin bit his lips. Great going, Calvin! You come out to your hottest friend, who just appears to be gay and you're basically ogling him with your eyes. Don't creep him out.

"Don't be. I'm flattered." Levi smiled, which was somehow different… His face was so… Calvin had never felt the urge to kiss someone like he did right now…

"You're handsome too, Calvin." Levi said softly, placing his hand on Calvin's shoulders. "I am not a relationship guy. I don't want to mess this up, our friendship… But I so want to kiss you right now."

And all his self-control went out of the metaphorical window. Calvin kissed him, without thinking and Levi didn't even need a second to kiss him back. God, it was different, nothing like his kisses with Hayley or other girls. It felt right. Thrilling. As their tongues intwined, he could feel Levi's strong arms pull him closer. It felt right.

He opened his eyes as Levi stopped and withdrew. He gulped. Had he done something wrong but Levi's smirk made his throat go dry and the look in his eyes… they were just sexy. He felt as if he was being devoured by Levi and it felt good…

Levi pulled off his brown shirt, tossing it to the table beside the sofa they were seated on, exposing his incredible physique, toned abs… Calvin could not stop his eyes from trailing over Levi's athletic torso, drinking in the glorious sight… It was as if his body had been sculpted to perfection.

"Like what you see?" He asked, his voice husky.

"Hm…hm." Calvin nodded as Levi started to kiss him again. He could feel his muscles against his body and that made him so excited.

"Someone's eager…" Levi whispered, sending chills down his spine. God, everything Levi did… everything he said, made Calvin feel so euphoric.

Levi lowered his head, now trailing kisses on his neck, making him make moan while his hands wandered over his torso, feeling him over his hoodie. Every touch made his skin tingle with anticipation.

"It's your first time, isn't it?" He cooed.

Calvin nodded.

"I'll be sure to make it special and anytime you don't like anything or want me to stop, just say so."

He nodded again, his mind not able to articulate words.

Levi grinned.

"Not yet…" Levi whispered to him, eyeing his bulge. He put his hand through his trousers, tracing his fingers over his underwear, every movement making him harder. This was so better than when he did it himself.

He pulled down the underwear, making him moan in ecstasy.

"Easy, Cal. I haven't even started yet." Levi whispered, taking out his hand from Calvin's pants and standing up. Calvin's eyes wandered over to the bulge in Levi's satin pants.

Levi smiled devilishly, taking off his pants and underwear in one quick movement and Calvin took a deep breath as he appreciated his friend's nude form. It was unreal, like the majestic sculptures of Greek gods.

"You can touch me, if you want. I know you want to." And Calvin obliged, letting his hands trail over Levi.

"Now, isn't it time I get to see your beautiful body too?"

Calvin smirked. He knew he was handsome and he definitely worked out. Maybe he wouldn't be as toned as Levi, but he knew half the school drooled on seeing him shirtless on the school play. He threw off his hoodie and quickly disposed of his trousers. He looked up to see Levi's eyes take him in.

"You are more handsome than I imagined." Levi breathed.

"So, you picture me naked?" Calvin smirked.

"Like you don't?" Levi countered, before bending down to his knees and gazing at Calvin with hunger in his eyes.

He beckoned Calvin to sit down in the sofa and he did. Not a moment later, Calvin couldn't help the sounds that escaped his mouth as his head rolled back in ecstasy. His hands traced over Levi's short black hair.

"Levi, I'm gonna…"

As Levi stood up, licking his lips, Calvin felt so alive, maybe the first time in ages. Then he looked down and grinned. "My turn."

"You don't have to-" He said.

"I want to." Calvin cut him off, pulling Levi in the sofa. As he came on top of the gold ranger, he started leaving small kisses down his neck before touching his forehead with Levi's pecs as he crawled down. He trailed down his abdomen, taking in his scent, which was musky sweat mixed with expensive cologne, that made him crazy with lust.

He didn't hesitate even as Levi's arms gripped his shoulders tightly.

"Cal, I'm -" Calvin smirked, having successfully made Levi lose his coherence. He fell on top of Levi, panting and smiling.

"That was incredible! You sure you hadn't done this before?" Levi teased, cuddling against him.

"Nope." Calvin whispered, letting Levi's arms wrap around him as he yawned.

It felt good, blissful even as they fell asleep in each other's embrace.

That was the beginning. The following weeks, he had tried different things with Levi, fooling around and exploring. It felt good! They weren't looking for anything except sex and each other's company but then as the summer ended, Levi had to go for a tour and he had to attend his college.

However, their parting wasn't sad. What they had wasn't a romance, it was pure physical attraction and them working it out. It didn't deter their friendship, nor did they expect their arrangement to turn into something else. So yeah, Calvin didn't feel sad. He missed Levi, sure but he always knew from the start, their arrangement wasn't permanent. So here he was, looking for something new and hoping for a real relationship this time.
