As heavy rain pourer and gust of wind blew hard over the city, Flora and Helia where lying on the brunette's bed. They were wrapped in each other's arms.

Helia lightly touched the body he better than his own with his hands as his lips locked with Flora's own.

The noise from outside covered the amount they had made inside. The two were usually loud with their love making and have had several complaints from neighbours.

Ending the kiss, Flora noticed as Helia gazed sweetly at her while stroking a particular section of her back. It brought her comfort with him doing that. Helia knew how to sooth and take away any pain or discomfort she felt.

Looking into Helia's eyes she smiled. For the first time she realized that he had loved her all along. The way he looked at her was of someone in love. The times he was there for her to cheer, support and comfort her, Flora finally noticed that his actions said he loved her for the times his words did not.

Shaking her head for a moment the brunette whispered. "I have been a fool for so many years."

"What are you talking about Flower?" Helia asked. "You are one of the smartest persons I know."

"I was a fool for not realizing that your actions over the years said you loved me. I just didn't pay attention to it because of my insecurities." Flora replied.

Helia reassured her. "It was my fault. I should have said something and not chase the hundreds of guys away from asking you out. You are the most beautiful being to ever be created and many would walk miles to be with you. Maybe even kill for you to be with them. While many desire you to be by their side, it is I alone that need you for without you I would never exist."

Flora blushed. "You sure a way with words Helia. That is one of the reasons why anyone that knows you can't help but to be around you. I love you more than words can describe and now that I know our feelings are the same I am never letting you go, Knightly."

"Never planned on leaving, the future Mrs Knightly." Helia said.

"This is your way of purposing to me?" Flora wondered.

"Nope." Helia shook his head for a moment. "This is."

Looking into her eyes, he continued and said passionately. "I have loved you before I even became aware of what love was. You are my motivation and driving force each day I wake up. Not a second goes by when I don't stop thinking about. Not a second goes by when I don't worry if you are okay, if you are comfortable, happy and safe. Since we took our relationship to a more inmate level all those years ago, not a moment goes by when I am not thankful to be the one worthy enough to hold such a beautiful, smart, kind and sexy goddess in my arms. Not a moment goes by when I am not grateful to be able to kiss you and make sweet and passionate love to you while hearing you scream my name over and over in pleasure. Your voice is the most pleasing sound to my ears. Your touch can make me weak in my knees while your love, support and friendship gives me the strength to keep me going. Will you give me the greatest honour in this world by allowing me to become your husband. Will you marry me, Flora?"

Flora was so touched by Helia's proposal that she cried tears of joy. Kissing his lips for a moment, she said. "Yes! Yes Helia! I will marry you, my one and only love."

Helia used one hand and went into a night table draw near Flora's bed. Moving his hand all the way to the back of the draw he took out a small navy box. "I had put this in here months ago before Grandma passed away. She had given it to me so I could give it to you when the time was right. I knew it would be safer here than in my house since Dad has been eye balling since Grams was alive to pawn it for some extra cash to mantain his mistresses."

Helia's father has had a history of cheating on his mother, Nebula. They didn't have physical proof of him cheating but with the late night meetings and several trips away for the weekend he and his mother suspected something was going on. Nebula still loved him enough though to want to try and work on the marriage.

Flora was happy that Helia was not like his father in some ways. She knew him well enough to know he saw relationships and marriage as a sacred union. If you were going to cheat then don't get married or be in a monogamous relationship. Despite his father's ways, Helia hope he would change soon because he didn't want his family to break up.

Flora saw the look on Helia's face as he placed the millennium old diamond ring onto her finger. It has been a family heirloom and has been passed down throughout the years. The only person that didn't get it in the family was Helia's father.

The brunette said, securing her arms around his neck. "I know you are thinking about your parents and hoping that your family won't break up."

Helia sighed. "My family is important to me and as much as Dad has his ways I don't want my parents to break up but I also don't want to see my Mom so unhappy."

"Your parents will have to do what's best for them." Flora told him. "I am your family now, sweetie and I will always be by your side no matter what. I will always be by your side to love, honour and treasure you."

Helia smiled when Flora mentioned that she was his family. Soon they would be legally one. They just had to set a date and make the arrangements. With the money he had received from the leagues he won as well as the funds he had inherited from his grandmother, they could have a small wedding with family and friends as guest. Helia had also inherited a house from his grandmother but since he was to college soon and would be dorming the place would be locked up till after he and Flora finished school with his mother going over there to occasionally keep an eye on it.

Locking lips once more, the newly engaged couple soon made love again as the rain continued to pour down onto the city.
