The plot goes like this: Kentaro Momotani is just your average, run-of-the-mill autistic college student attending classes in Winter Bluffs Community College, and has a great interest in the Multiverse Theory explained by the late Albert Einstein. However, when Dark Nocterous has his forces give people with evil souls and negative emotions Mons-Risers and Kaiju Cards, allowing them to transform into Kaiju fought by past Ultramen of the Showa-era, Heisei-era, and Reiwa-era, Kentaro and friends, traveling the various worlds of fiction in a starship, fight these monsters, with Kentaro as the son of Ultraman Dyna, Ultraman Nova! Will Kentaro and his friends be able to save the Multiverse from Nocterous and his forces? Grab a soda, pop some popcorn, order a pizza, and get ready to find out in ULTRAMAN NOVA!

It cuts to a city that's north of Domino City, which resembles Seoul, South Korea from Agents Of Mayhem crossed with Sunset City from Sunset Overdrive. This was Winter Bluffs, a bustling cityscape of amazing sights and sounds. We then turn to the community college in Winter Bluffs, where we see a young man with russet brown hair styled like Takashi Komuro from Highschool of The Dead, crossed with Naoto Kurogane from BlazBlue and Kazuki Muto from Busou Renkin. With red and blue highlights, and a small ponytail in the bottom, and green eyes, dressed in a RWBY shirt under a denim jacket, jeans, fingerless gloves, and Nike sneakers. This was Kentaro Momotani, a college student on the autism spectrum, who was fascinated with anything related to the multiverse-theory, as well as fictional worlds in games, movies, and shows.
"This school year promises to be an amazing one." said Kentaro, sounding like Reiji Ozora, with a smile on his face.
"Agreed." said a voice, as one of Kentaro's friends, Takuya, arrived with his sister, Haruka. Both Haruka and Takuya had brown hair, but Takuya had forest-green eyes, and Haruka had cerulean blue eyes. Takuya had a Hunter X Hunter themed t-shirt on, along with sweat-shorts and green sneakers. Haruka had a Sailor Moon themed shirt on, as well as jean-shorts and crocs.
"Let's hope the school year turns out awesome, as always." said Haruka, smiling at her brother and her friend.
"You said it, sis." said Takuya, smiling.
(Cue Opening Song: "The Howl Towards Tomorrow!" by JAM Project)
[Instrumental] It shows all the various Ultramen of the Showa-era, Heisei-era, and Reiwa-era, until it cuts to Kentaro, and he rushes towards the scene.
[Tachiagare kedakaku mae sadame wo uketa senshi yo] It cuts to the numerous Ultra Nova Cards, for both Ultramen and Kaiju, and the Ultra-Nova Riser
[Sen no kakugo mi ni matoi kimi yo ooshiku habatake] The Ultra-Nova Riser is then gripped by Kentaro, who thrusts it forwards, and the logo for Ultraman Nova appears
[Yami no jidai wo tsugeru kane ga tooku nari hibiku] It cuts to Kentaro reading a shonen manga in his dormitory, while Takuya is practicing boxing, and Haruka is cooking in home-ec class.
[Tatakau tomo yo ima kimi ha shi mo osorezu] It shows the trio finding the Starhunter ship near the woods, and Kentaro finds the Ultra-Nova Riser and the Nova-Cards inside of it
[Gareki no machi wo somete shizumu yuuhi ha kurenai] It cuts to Kentaro's allies throughout his travels in the Multiverse: Yusuke Urameshi, Gon Freecs, Toriko, Seiya, Tsukune Aono, Kenshiro, Sonic, Edward and Alphonse, Ruby's group, the Meisters of DWMA, Fairy Tail, the Black Bulls, Tanjiro Kamado, the Joestars, Yugo Ogami, Nero, S.T.A.R.S, Frank West, the Maximals, the Avengers, the Justice League, Rex Salazar, Ben Tennyson, Spyro, the Paladins of Voltron, the Flex-Fighters, Godzilla, and more.
[Aisuru hoshi no mirai wo mamoru tame] It shows the various Ultramen throughout history, such as Ultraman, Ultra-Seven, Ace, Taro, Leo, Jack, Joneus, 80, Great, Powered, Tiga, Zearth, Dyna, Gaia, Neos, Cosmos, Nexus, Max, Mebius, Zero, Ginga, Victory, X, Orb, Geed, Rosso, Blu, Taiga, Titas, Fuuma, Z, Trigger, Decker, and others.
[Oo kami no yaiba ha hito no ai] It cuts to an unknown criminal using a Mons-Riser and a Kaiju Card to transform into an Alien Baltan, and cause havoc in town.
[Inori wo komete tsuranuke] Kentaro takes out the Ultra Nova-Riser, inserts a UltraNova Card into it, and squeezes the trigger, making the top open, and he transforms into Ultraman Nova Duality Type.
[Tachiagare kedakaku mae sadame wo uketa senshi yo] Nova fights against the kaiju, and he then transforms into his Mighty Type, and is fighting a different monster with incredible strength and flaming strikes.
[Asu no heiwa he no ishizue to nare] Nova then transforms into his Speed Type, and takes off flying with the speed of a jet fighter
[Atsuku nare ookiku sake ten ni sasageshi inochi yo] It shows Nova using a Nova Arm in a certain form, such as the Duality Sword in his Duality Type, the Mighty Crusher Axe in Mighty Type and the Hurricane Bow in Speed Type
[Yowakimono no tate to nare soshite sekai wo michibike] Nova does the same movements as Dyna and Decker, and he positioned his arms in an L-shape, firing his Stargent Ray at a kaiju, defeating it.

Chapter 1: The Adventure Begins!
It cuts to Kentaro and his friends in the college's gymnasium, doing exercises, like Haruka doing acrobatics, Takuya doing chin-ups, and Kentaro doing push-ups.
"We're doing great, fellas." said Kentaro, as he kept up his exercise, as did his friends.
Meanwhile, it cuts to a human-sized Alien Valky giving a gang member a strange object with black and red coloration, and a card with an image of Zetton-Falx on it.
"Use it to raise hell, and get back at those who have wronged you." said Valky. He then teleported away, and was later seen on top of a building, speaking to a cloaked monstrous figure.
"My lord, our first MonsRiser user promises to be a good one." said Valky to his master.
"Excellent, Valky." said the cloaked alien being, sounding like Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda.
Elsewhere, we see an alien starship land on Earth, near the mountains. An alien robot was manning the craft, resembling Rico The Robot from Power Rangers Megaforce crossed with Gmerl from Sonic Advance 3 and Gavan-Bootleg. This was Hanetaro 3-19, a robot capable of thinking and feeling like a normal living being. With him was Metaro, a good-natured Alien Metron
"I only hope we are not too late." said Hanetaro, sounding like C2-N2 from Star Wars: The Old Republic. He then looked to see an object that resembled a cross between the Ultra D Flasher and the Victory Lancer, and three card-like objects.
"We need the UltraNova Riser and the Nova Cards to find a suitable host for Ultraman Nova, the son of Dyna. Otherwise, this world, and others like it, are as good as doomed." said Metaro
Meanwhile, it cuts to Kentaro and his friends walking through the town, with Haruka taking photos of the various shops and bars, until they saw the gangster with the device on his person, and he slid the card into it, before pulling the device's trigger.
[MONSRISE: ZETTON FALX!]
With that, the Gangster turned into a kaiju, a Zetton-Falx in this case, and shot a volley of Dark Fireballs at the buildings. Some tanks rolled in, and shot at the transformed gang member, but were slashed by his hand-scythes. Even jets were having trouble trying to stop him.
"Holy crap!" said Takuya, shocked to see this "Did…did that gangster just turn into a giant monster or something!?"
"I must've had too much coffee!" Haruka blurted out.
"One thing's for sure, we have to do something," said Kentaro. Suddenly, he was enveloped in a violet aura, and the UltraNova Riser turned from dull-colored to bright colored, and flew to Kentaro's location. Kentaro grabbed it, and the cards.
Kentaro's Mindscape
"What's going on?" Kentaro wondered. Suddenly, he looked to see a being of pure light, before the light surrounding the being diminished, revealing a figure that resembled a cross between Ultraman Trigger and Ultraman Decker, but his head was a cross between Ultraman Regulus and Ultraman Hikari. He had an octagon shaped Color-Timer in the center of his chest, and a diamond gemstone in the middle of his forehead
"Calm down, Kentaro Momotani. For, I am on yours and your friends' side." said the figure "I am a warrior of Nebula M-78, the Land of Light. My name is Ultraman Nova."
"An actual alien?" said Kentaro, stunned to see this.
"Correct. Kentaro, in order to save your homeworld, and worlds like this, you and I must work as one." said Nova. "By using the Ultra Nova Riser, and the Nova Cards, you and I can become one."
Back to reality.
Kentaro knew what to do, so he took out a card with Nova in a red, purple, and silver form, and inserted it into the front of the Ultra Nova Riser
[ULTRA RISE!]
"Defend all life, the power of the soul!" said Kentaro "ULTRAMAN NOVA!" he then squeezed the trigger
[ULTRAMAN NOVA: DUALITY TYPE!]
With that, Kentaro then transformed into Nova, with a "SHIYAATCH!" and he landed on his feet, ready for action. He then fought against the Zetton-Falx, and managed to trade blows with him.
"I might need a weapon for this one." said Nova, as he extended his hand, and a sword appeared in his hand. It resembled Caliburn from Sonic And The Black Knight crossed with Excelsior from Power Rangers Operation Overdrive
[ULTRA NOVA ARMS: DUALITY SWORD!]
With that, Nova slashed and sliced at the transformed gang-member, and even trounced him with a few hands-free attacks. Suddenly, the hexagon-shaped Color Timer in the center of his chest began blinking red, making the same noise as Trigger's Color Timer crossed with Orb's.
"What does that mean?" said Kentaro
"An Ultraman can only be active on another planet outside their homeworld for a good three minutes." Nova explained "Once that time's up, you'll have to power down. So make your next attack count."
(Cue: "ROCKS" by JAM Project)
Kentaro then took the Nova Duality Type card, and slid it across the side of the Duality Sword's blade.
[ULTRA FINISHER! DUALITY SWORD SLASH!]
With that, the blade of the Duality Sword glowed violet, and Nova sent a buzzsaw shaped energy slash at Zetton Falx. He then stabbed his weapon into the ground, and did a combination of the same movements as Decker Flash Type and Trigger Multi Type.
"STARGENT RAY!" said Nova, as he then positioned his arms in an L-shape, and fired an amethyst purple colored Ultra Ray at Zetton Falx, defeating him. The gangster turned back to normal, and the MonsRiser turned to ashes. Alien Valky noticed this, and was shocked
"Unbelievable…." Valky muttered in disbelief that the first person he gave a MonsRiser to was defeated by a whole new Ultraman.
Later, Kentaro saw a light come near the cliffs, and he and his friends looked to see a spaceship that resembled a Defender light class Corvette from Star Wars: The Old Republic, but colored differently. This was the Star Hunter, a ship meant for interdimensional travel throughout the Multiverse. The front of the ship opened, and Hanetaro walked out.
"At last, I meet the young man who the UltraNova Riser has chosen, along with his friends!" said Hanetaro "My name is Hanetaro 3-19, and it is quite a pleasure to meet you!"
"And I am Metaro" said a voice, as a human-sized Alien Metron dressed in a suit arrived, sounding like Metro-Man from Megamind.
"Hello there." said Kentaro, bowing in respect "My name is Kentaro Momotani."
"I'm Takuya Takegawa." said Takuya, introducing himself.
"I'm Haruka. Takuya's my twin brother, and Kentaro's one of my closest friends since childhood." said Haruka.
"It is a pleasure to meet you all." said Metaro, nodding in confirmation "Me and Hanejiro have noticed that the evil space emperor, Dark Nocterous has been giving MonsRisers to wicked people throughout numerous universes to become Kaiju themselves. We'll need all the help we can get."
"If it's to keep our world and others like it from destruction, then we'll help." said Kentaro, as he and his friends had determined looks on their faces.
"Glad to hear." said Metaro. "I'll be sure to tell your families, and I will also have your college fax you guys your homework on a regular basis, so that way, you aren't behind in school."
"Thanks, Mr. Metaro." said Takuya, smiling.
"Our first destination is the universe of Yu Yu Hakusho, where we will meet the Spirit Detective, Yusuke Urameshi, and his friends," said Metaro. With that, Kentaro, Takuya and Haruka all boarded the vehicle, and the Star Hunter lifted off, and flew through a dimensional portal.
Meanwhile, we see Dark Nocterous on his throne. He resembled Alien Empera crossed with Dark Lugiel and Z-Shin. He had noticed this through his crystal ball.
"Soon, the Multiverse shall know the true meaning of fear." said Nocterous, sounding similar to Genshin from Ninja Gaiden 2.

Next time, on Ultraman Nova, Kentaro and his friends arrive in the world of Yu Yu Hakusho, where they meet Yusuke Urameshi and his friends, however, when an aggravated Mr. Iwamoto and a vengeful Akaishi are given MonsRisers, and gain the power to become kaiju to attack Japan, Kentaro must access a new form and a new weapon to defeat them, so they can't cause problems in Japan.
